Episode Title

David Ghiyam: Spiritual Laws of Wealth - Break Free From Money Blocks

Overview In this episode of *The Daily Motivation*, host Lewis Howes interviews money expert and spiritual teacher David Ghiyam, who explores the spiritual dimensions of wealth and the invisible barriers that prevent individuals from achieving true abundance. Drawing from ancient Kabbalistic wisdom, Ghiyam challenges the conventional beliefs surrounding money and success.

Key Themes and Concepts

  1. Beliefs About Money
  2. Pain and Suffering: Many people believe that making money must involve pain and struggle, which creates a mental block against manifesting wealth.
  3. Deservingness: Individuals may feel undeserving of wealth due to past actions or fears of making others uncomfortable.
  1. Subconscious Blocks
  2. Ghiyam shares a story about a woman who sabotaged her own happiness by remaining single to protect her sister's feelings, highlighting how subconscious desires can hinder personal growth and financial success.
  1. The Creator's Abundance
  2. According to Ghiyam, the creator has endowed us with endless energy of abundance, which is often limited by our beliefs and fears.
  3. He emphasizes that our wealth has already been designated for us, but it may be held by others until we are spiritually ready to receive it.
  1. Energetic Vessels
  2. The concept of "energetic vessels" is introduced, suggesting that one must be spiritually prepared to handle wealth.
  3. Ghiyam uses the metaphor of directing a thousand watts of energy through a sixty-watt bulb to illustrate that without spiritual readiness, an influx of wealth can lead to chaos.
  1. Alignment with Wealth
  2. The importance of aligning with what is truly meant for us is stressed.
  3. Ghiyam advises listeners to seek only the wealth that is destined for them, stating that any excess or deficit can create chaos in their lives.
  1. Asking the Universe
  2. In both financial and personal pursuits, Ghiyam recommends pausing to ask the universe if something is meant for us before proceeding. This practice encourages alignment rather than acting from a place of lack or fear.

Conclusion David Ghiyam's insights on the spiritual laws of wealth encourage listeners to rethink their relationship with money. By addressing subconscious beliefs and aligning with their true deservingness, individuals can break free from money blocks and create a more abundant life.

0:00Hi, my name is Lewis Howes and welcome to the Daily Motivation Show.

0:12so what's the biggest belief that that holds people back from making more money let's go through the list uh-huh it has to be painful it has to be a struggle i have to suffer to make money if you believe that to be true then your soul is going to make a different calculus which is do i want to suffer or not you're going to your soul is going to say no i don't want to suffer. So what you're going to do that day is not manifest the reality of wealth. So this is like probably the biggest belief system I see. You must suffer to be successful. That's number one. Another one would be, I am not deserving of it for whatever reason.

0:51I'm not deserving of it. Why? Because maybe something shameful I did in my past. Maybe because I don't want to make the people around me feel uncomfortable. For example, there's one woman who told me she realized after studying Kabbalah that she's not married at the age of like 35 because her 37-year-old sister is not married. So she was subconsciously sabotaging meaning men because she didn't want to embarrass her sister. It was such a subconscious thing. She didn't want to make her sister feel bad that she was married and happy and she's older and she's not married. Correct. Interesting. And it was such a subconscious thing, but that little bit of a subconscious desire will sabotage the process and men will feel that when they approach her.

1:43Wow. So in business, it's very much the same thing. We have these subconscious desires and feelings and relationship with money. We might think money is bad. We might think money is evil. We might look at like the 1 % and say, look at what they're doing. We might look at people who don't pay their taxes or have like such a complicated view of money. But it's shaping and forming our belief system. And it's causing all these blockages. Because the creator wants you to receive endlessly. Because the creator is endless. Created a vessel to receive endlessly. We are the only ones that are limiting it.

2:17This energy of abundance has already been given since the time of creation. And it has your name on it. There's an amount of wealth that belongs to you. It might be held right now by somebody else. holding it for you until your vessel is ready. And what happens if people make money before they're ready for the money to come? What happens if someone makes money before they're ready for the money to come? So let's say, for example, a good example of that would be theft. Why does the Bible say someone should not steal? Is it wrong? Is it moral? Is it religiously an issue? Kabbalists say no. A person should not steal for one reason.

2:56When you steal something, you are taking the energy of it without the vessel. You did not earn that money, so you don't have a spiritual vessel for it. So this money that you took is basically like bringing 1 ,000 watts of energy to a 60-watt bulb. It will cause chaos for you. That's the only reason. Not because I don't steal, not because society would shame me or I could go to jail. That's how a lot of people think. Because if there were no laws and nobody knew, and you could just take whatever you want. How many people would do it? A lot of people would do it. But if I knew I could steal and nobody would know about it, I know energetically I'm taking energy, but I don't have the vessel to hold it and it's going to cause me chaos.

3:44So actually I don't want to ever bring energy that does not belong to me. And here's something else that's really powerful. One of the things I always ask the creator is, I only want the wealth that is meant for me this year. I do not want a penny more. I do not want a penny less because both will cause chaos. If I try to take wealth from someone else or someplace else that does not belong to me, or is not part of my vessel, then I have an overflow of energy and I'll have chaos. If I do not take what is mine, I take less, then I'm going against the thought of creation, which is the creator wants me to be fulfilled.

4:19In both cases, this is a short circuit. So we have to all align and stop trying to just make things happen or make business happen or make wealth happen and connect to, wait a minute, what is actually meant for me? Dating, same thing. Trying to take, just because you're attracted to a woman doesn't mean she's yours. Just because you feel something doesn't mean it's part of your vessel. So Kabbalah says you pause and you ask. You ask the universe and say, hey, is this person meant for me? If you still feel after the asking that there is an energy there that you can pursue, but making that first pause actually involves creation as opposed to me coming from my own lack, my own issues, and my own fears to try to engage.

"The creator wants you to receive endlessly. Created a vessel to receive endlessly. We are the only ones that are limiting it. This energy of abundance has already been given since the time of creation and it has your name on it." - David Ghiyam

Money expert and spiritual teacher David Ghiyam pulls back the curtain on the invisible barriers that block true abundance. Drawing from ancient Kabbalistic wisdom, he challenges the deeply ingrained belief that success must be accompanied by struggle and suffering. Through powerful examples, including the story of a woman whose subconscious desire to protect her sister's feelings became a barrier to her own happiness, Ghiyam illuminates how our hidden beliefs and attitudes toward money can create energetic blockages that prevent us from receiving what's rightfully ours.

Delving into the spiritual dimensions of wealth, Ghiyam introduces the revolutionary concept of energetic vessels - the idea that we must be spiritually prepared to receive abundance. He explains why simply acquiring money without the proper spiritual foundation can lead to chaos, using the metaphor of directing a thousand watts of energy through a sixty-watt bulb. This understanding transforms our approach to wealth creation from a mere pursuit of financial gain into a journey of spiritual alignment and personal growth, where success comes not from taking what isn't ours, but from opening ourselves to receive what's already designated for us.
