In short
The episode is a political commentary claiming Trump’s Ireland trip is worsening amid large protests and mounting international crises. The host alleges Trump wastes taxpayer money by traveling with two Air Force Ones, posts golf videos while “the world is collapsing,” and is surrounded by staff like Natalie Harp. It highlights alleged White House/Trump staff behavior toward journalist Aaron Rupar, and cites photos of Harp traveling with Trump. It also discusses major protests in Dublin and Albania (described as lasting 105 days) against Kushner and Ivanka’s luxury resort plans and against Albanian PM Edi Rama. Key claims include allegations of a UK “dawn raid” involving a “pedo” US diplomat, U.S. interceptor failures in Jordan during Iran-related strikes, AI companies slowing development, Saudi oil/pipeline disruptions, and China threatening Trump over Taiwan.
Notable examples
Dublin protest crowds; Albania protests; Jordan interceptors (THAAD vs Patriot cost claims); AI IPO delay rumors; Saudi East-West pipeline shutdown; Xi Jinping’s Taiwan condition.

57Ben Meiselas:Pickup fees may apply. While vacationing in Ireland with the whole world laughing at him, mocking him, and repulsed by him, and with protests all around Ireland, Donald Trump is posting videos of himself golfing. And he writes, such a great golfer. Too bad I have very little time to play. And it's just post after post of himself hitting golf balls. We know all you do is play golf while the world is collapsing around you, as you have shown how utterly weak and pathetic you are. And so you want to talk waste, fraud, and abuse? Well, now we are learning when Donald Trump arrived in Ireland, he not only flew in the Qatari Air Force One, he also made the old Air Force One, the actual Air Force One, travel with him as well.
00Ben Meiselas:So apparently when he travels overseas now, he has two Air Force Ones with him and utter waste of taxpayer dollars right now. I mean, how absurd is this? Look at this, what it looks like. And then you take a look at what the motorcade looked like in Ireland, what this is costing the people of Ireland, what this is costing the taxpayers here in the United States for this ridiculous fascist circus. It is utterly absurd. And then you have Aaron Ruppar. Aaron Ruppar, someone who I have a great deal of respect for, an independent journalist also, has been posting some photos of Natalie Harp, who's been traveling with Donald Trump.
44Ben Meiselas:You know Natalie. When Donald Trump was at the NATO summit in Turkey, he and Natalie hid in the catering container because Trump was so scared that Iran was going to kill him. Well, Rupert was posting photos of her traveling with Donald Trump. No Melania there, of course. And all Aaron wrote was, look who made the trip to Ireland. Hashtag travel with Natalie, to which the Trump regime's official White House account replied. President Trump does, in fact, travel with staff. Aaron, on the other hand, is a sick, deluded freak in his 40s who sits behind a keyboard and posts creepy things like this, to which Rupar responded, I know being in my 40s makes me too old for the president, but I'm at peace with it.
34Ben Meiselas:And while Donald Trump is posting videos and photos of himself golfing while he's in Ireland, the entire world is protesting him. We saw major protests in Dublin. We saw major protests in Albania. The protests in Albania actually have entered their 105th day. These are the protests against Kushner and Ivanka and the Trump regime. It started out because of the luxury resorts on the island, Cezanne, that Kushner and Ivanka want to turn into their own Trumpenstein Island and destroy it. and perverted these disgusting, vile things, right? And these protests have grown and grown and grown and have become even more about toppling and forcing the prime minister of Albania, Eddie Rama, to resign as well.
29Ben Meiselas:Let me show you what it looks like right now in Albania on the 105th night of these protests against Kushner and Ivanka and Trump and the prime minister who also let the snake in here play this clip.
26Ben Meiselas:And you remember the crowds gathering in Dublin. Just show you this one more time. Let's play it.
43Ben Meiselas:And just so you see a scale, the scale of these protests, even though Donald Trump's like, I don't see any protest that wasn't happening. No protest. 50 ,000 people as I know were protesting here. Let me show you.
24I'm offshining
27Ben Meiselas:Because you want to know what's truly creepy? While Donald Trump is in Ireland, while talking about the unification of Ireland and basically giving the middle finger to the UK, while also providing military equipment to Javier Malay in Argentina and encouraging Malay to invade the Falkland Islands and then for there to be another Falkland Island war. And then Donald Trump said, and I don't think the UK will be able to even fight the war this time. Do you know how long it takes by boat to get from the UK to the Falkland Islands? It's a long boat ride, Donald Trump says. It's a long boat ride. You know, we live in 2026, you idiot.
13Ben Meiselas:While that's going on, And while the official White House account is calling Aaron Rupar a sick, deluded freak for just posting photos of Natalie Harp with Donald Trump, the White House, we learned, engaged in the following conduct in the UK. This comes from The Sun, and I'm sure they're not too pleased with the hate that Donald Trump was spewing at the UK lately. pedo U.S. diplomat seized in dawn raid on London flat and smuggled out of the UK on a cargo plane before cops can investigate. That headline sounds vile because it is. The Trump regime that continues to cover up child sex trafficking rings in the United States by deep-sixing the Epstein files.
07Ben Meiselas:And we know Donald Trump's names all over those files and likely all over files that are still being concealed. While the Trump regime prevents foreign governments from trying to investigate connections with Epstein, he's doing it with the UK and Poland and Latvia and Norway and a lot of other countries that are saying, can we get access to some of these documents, DOJ? And the Trump DOJ saying, no, no, no, we're not going to help at all in your investigations into Jeffrey Epstein's child sex trafficking ring. While all of that's going on, here's what the Sun in the UK reported. Yanked out of Britain, a petto US diplomat was seized in a dawn raid from his London flat in Putney and smuggled out of the UK on a cargo plane before the UK cops could investigate.
01Ben Meiselas:In essence, the Trump regime found out that one of its top diplomats was sending pedo information and photos back and forth to his brother. And rather than allow the UK to arrest this sicko, the Trump regime engaged in like a SEAL Team 6 extraction in order to basically save this purported pedo. And that's what the sun is alleging. No wonder whether it's in Ireland or the UK or throughout the world, Donald Trump is a vomit-inducing gremlin thing. You saw the protests in Ireland. Donald Trump was like, what protest? I don't see any protests. There were tens of thousands of people protesting Donald Trump in Dublin.
53Ben Meiselas:Shout out to all the Midas Dublin out there. We got your back. Shout out to all of the international resistance against the vile and despicable Trump regime. We've got your back as well. And I hope you've appreciated the content that we've been curating for you here on the Midas Touch Network. It's really with you in mind. I mean, just think about in the past 24 hours, Professor Morandi. We've had Professor McFaul, former ambassador to Russia. We're going to keep on having those types of interviews. By the way, the interview we did with Tony Piazza, the mediator. Sorry, I digress. I just just thinking about, you know, the work you and I and all of us are doing together here.
39Ben Meiselas:Sorry. You saw the protest signs. Take a look as we run on the Midas Touch account. Not sure Ireland is the biggest fan of Donald Trump, but from Ireland to the streets of Tehran. Take a look right here. Trump made an appearance on the streets of Iran last night. The shirt reads, I did wrong. I screwed up. You think? And folks, talking about the screw up right here, do you remember the past week when Donald Trump and CENCOM struck those five Iranian civilian oil tankers, right? you remember in the Strait of Hormuz. And then Iran responded by striking the US base in Jordan. And the Jordanian government was like, we intercepted everything.
26Ben Meiselas:We got it all. And then Trump's like, our base in Jordan wasn't struck. And we knew that there was major damage done. Remember that? Well, we're getting new images of what took place. I have about eight, there's two minutes of this, but I'm just going to show you eight seconds of what it looked like when the U.S. interceptors were trying to strike the Iranian ballistics. But it looked like Iran was using those K-Bar shaken castle breakers that we've been talking about here, those ones that can zigzag while they're hitting their target and move away from the interceptors. And so it looks like the U.S.
07Ben Meiselas:sent 60 to 80 interceptors. And then by the third and fourth wave of the Iranian ballistics. There were no more interceptors. Even the US has basically run out of all of its interceptors. But let me show you this. Let's just play the clip though. So you can see these, this eight seconds let's play.
35Ben Meiselas:Now, let me show you this B roll coming out of Jordan right here, because it looks like what the U.S. was using was actually, this is shocking. I mean, but nothing shocks me with the depths of stupidity and depravity of the Trump regime. These aren't PAC-3s. These look like THAADs, folks. The THAAD interceptors, about$11 million each. The PAC-3s and 4s, or the PAC-3s rather, those are about$4 to$5 million each. And for every one Iranian ballistic. Two Pac-3s, two Patriot interceptors are sent. But these THAADs are like$10 to$11 million each interceptor. And so on that one day alone, it's possible that the Iranian strikes on the Jordan base, which destroyed a number of F-15s and Blackhawks and a number of other U.S.
30Ben Meiselas:military equipment, the U.S. may have used close to a billion dollars in interceptors when you add the THAADs and you add the Patriots interceptors as well. And so the idiocracy doesn't end there. As the Trump regime has rushed all of this unregulated AI, did you see what happened yesterday as well? Suddenly, OpenAI, Anthropic, XAI, and all of these other top AI companies suddenly did an about face and agreed to slow the pace of AI development in a 12-hour period, delaying the IPO of OpenAI as well. And they said that they would melt their GPUs to save humanity if it came to it. As Adam Cockroach writes, something happened.
24Ben Meiselas:There was no world in which everybody, including Elon to the head of Anthropic to Sam Altman and Dario Amodi, all of a sudden we're like, we're slowing down our AI, everybody. There was a rumor that this week Google cracked recursive AI, but did something go rogue? Did something happen with an AI model that has all of these companies worried? But the fact that you have Anthropics founder, Dario Amodi saying, we must pace the frontier. I've written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down with a three-part plan for doing so. Then Sam Altman, he now says they're not going to do an IPO for at least another year, which they were supposed to do an IPO sooner, said, I agree with Dario.
14Ben Meiselas:We need to pace the frontier. This has been a primary topic of discussion we've had at OpenAI in recent weeks. Committing to having independent evaluators with employee-like access is a great idea, and we will do the same. We'll have more to share soon. Elon Musk says, Dario is right. So folks, Trump is just left and right. This is why we used to have common sense regulation. This is why there was roles that government should play. And it doesn't have to be heavy-handed roles, but Donald Trump's the worst of everything. He's heavy-handed in the worst ways. And then where you want government to step in and provide safety and protection, he just allows all of this stuff to take place at the expense of humanity, whether it's in the environment, data centers, AI, you name it.
10Ben Meiselas:And that's one of the main reasons we've got here. Also, Donald Trump, who's been a bankruptor of casinos his whole life, has done a remarkable job basically bankrupting the Saudis. Saudi Arabia oil production has fallen to its lowest level in three decades. The Houthis continue to now, after conquering or controlling all of western Yemen, Ansar Allah is now moving east to Aden, moving east towards other areas. The Saudi-backed troops in Yemen are in retreat. Saudi Arabia had to shut down the East-West pipeline, which carries five to seven million barrels of oil today. The Saudi monarchy is in a very desperate situation right now.
51Ben Meiselas:And MBS thought, okay, I'm going to give all this money to Donald Trump and I'm going to be protected. Quite the opposite. You were the perfect mark to Donald Trump, relying on the US post-World War II security architecture, having a lot of money. And Donald Trump just scooped up your cash for himself, also at the expense of US national interest as well. Think about this. So the Saudis confirm that the pipeline, they claim it came from the Iraqi resistance. The Houthis said they did it. The Iraqi resistance said we didn't do it. The Iraqi resistance is allied with Iran. The Iraqi resistance said we would have loved to have done it, but it's not us.
29Ben Meiselas:So why would Saudi Arabia be blaming the Iraqi resistance when the Houthis are saying they did it because Saudi Arabia is scared to admit that it's the Houthis so they can conveniently blame Iraq, which has the Iraqi government, which is more convenient for Saudi Arabia to blame because if the Houthis have those capabilities, it further erodes confidence in the monarchy within Saudi Arabia itself. So just think about this. When it comes to Hormuz, Iran's export route to the north is closed by a war. The pipeline to the south was taken offline. They're fighting and losing against the Houthis in Yemen.
07Ben Meiselas:The U.S. is incapable of defending them. They're bleeding money at an accelerating rate. Ironically, we may soon see an inverted petrodollar, Anard Batrand explains, whereby instead of recycling oil profits into U.S. treasuries, they'll be forced to sell them to cover oil losses caused by U.S. wars. All in all, hard to overstate what a complete cluster FU, you know what, this represents. Do you understand what he's saying there, though? This is an important point. The way the petrodollar used to work in the post-World War II architecture that actually led to the enriching of the United States is that these Middle East countries and other countries that were beholden to the U.S.
55Ben Meiselas:security umbrella would have to take their money and And where would they put their profits? Where would they put their money? Into US treasuries, into US equities, into US markets, which would further enrich the United States. But Donald Trump, the idiot that he is, the bankruptor of casinos, said, that's so unfair. We're being taken advantage of. It's like, whatever you want to say about the post-World War II American-led international architecture, it benefited the United States as well through the recycling of this money into US treasuries and equities. Trump destroyed that. That's why we're seeing so many countries, not just Saudi Arabia, but everyone from Canada to Norway to China to Japan, you name it.
43Ben Meiselas:Countries across the world at an advance clip are unloading their treasury bonds. They're selling their treasury bonds. They're liquidating their treasury bonds. So what this means, as less people even want to buy treasuries right now, what is the treasury department doing? What is Besant having to do? When he does treasury bond auctions, he has to guarantee higher interest rates, higher interest payments. That is, if you buy, if you purchase, if you put money to get US bonds, What does that mean? That means the US has to pay more interest on its debt that it is issuing, thus higher treasury yields.
30Ben Meiselas:That's what we mean when we say higher treasury yields. And ultimately, that's leading to trillions and trillions of dollars of debt being incurred by the United States. And it prevents and prohibits the United States from doing things that governments are supposed to do for the people in the United States of America. And it's bankrupting the United States. That's what's actually happening. I'm going to do another video on this as well, so stay tuned. But you also have Xi Jinping, president of China, threatening Donald Trump. Now, I know how badly you want me to visit Washington, D.C. at the end of September for that state visit.
08Ben Meiselas:You keep on telling everyone, Xi Jinping is going to come here. Xi Jinping is going to come here. So Xi Jinping saying, if you want me to show up, this is how embarrassing this that Trump has begged for Xi to show up so much. Xi knows his very presence is so important to Trump that that's leverage. So Xi Jinping says, if you give any money to Taiwan for their defense, I'm not showing up. I'm canceling my trip to the United States. I'm not going to meet with you. At the same time, Xi Jinping, while he was in New Delhi for the BRICS block meeting, and I've done lots of coverage on the BRICS block meeting, he talked about how countries need to decide if they're going to be on the right side of history with the Middle East or the wrong side.
56Ben Meiselas:The right side being defined as a new multilateral security architecture led by Arab nations pushing out the US and the Netanyahu regime. China having an important role, but trying to empower Arab nations to take a stand against U.S. unilateralism and U.S. projection of its imperialism in the region. That's what China has said. And this has been the most successful BRICS summit ever, ever. As Donald Trump's out there threatening NATO, attacking the UK, extracting pedos from their apartments in the UK, as all of that's going on, a new multilateral system is being created with China as the hegemon.
43Ben Meiselas:And remember what Xi Jinping said to Donald Trump when Trump visited Beijing a few months back? Don't fall into the Thucydides trap, Donald. Don't fall into the Thucydides trap, right? Meaning the power that was once great, that's losing its power, should not feel that it needs to go to war with the new power that's rising, as we saw happen with Athens and Sparta as written about by Thucydides, hence the Thucydides trap, right? And so that's what Xi Jinping said to Trump. And Trump was like, yes, Xi, yes, we are weaker than you now. Remember when Donald Trump bowed to Xi Jinping and what that was like?
22So with all of this happening,
26Ben Meiselas:we want stable. This isn't a Democrat or Republican thing or independent thing, right? We want somebody who's coherent. Let's talk about this. We want someone who's coherent. We want someone who behaves like an adult. Let's set that as the floor. And then we can go up from there with someone who consults expert, someone who deliberates, someone who's well-read, someone who cares about the data and the truth. That's kind of the next level. Then let's talk about another higher level, someone who has exemplified superior business skills or superior intellect or superior achievement in their life in a way that they can now provide public service and sacrifice for national interest.
17Ben Meiselas:What I'm showing you is a hierarchy of leadership right now. I'm not talking about politics at all. I'm talking about humanity and leadership. Leadership, that's how we should be talking about this. I know when you probably turn on other YouTube channels or this cable news network or that cable news network, I know you don't watch cable news, right? But they talk about who's up, who's down, this poll, that poll, Democrats, Republicans, this, da, da, da, da, da. Look, I don't wanna say that's not important at all. There's an election coming up that's existential and is important. We cover politics here, but what I'm trying to do with this channel, what I'm trying to do with our discussions together, really, this is the life work of me and this channel and us.
07Ben Meiselas:We have to think about these things in bigger ways. What are we doing here? Why? How have we gotten this lunatic, this sick, vile, sexual predator, this felon, this disgusting thing? Why? Because when we gamify politics, when we exalt this reality TV attention gaining system over a system that should be involving like principles and values and things that really matter in the realm of politics and public service, the person who can suck up the most attention, the person who can do that becomes the leader. And that's why Trump's a vessel of that because who's the most dystopian, grotesque reality person?

59Ben Meiselas:Him. So when that became politics, we skewed off into this way and we have to get back. By the way, I'm going to plug the book because WTF America, that's what the concept is. Whether you get the book or not, I laid out the concept just now for you. And that's what I wanted to talk about this morning. So when he's out there and he's posting, you know, these photos of him golfing and videos of him golfing, reflect on this. So I will leave you with this though, because I found this to be very fascinating. So you have in Alaska, Republican incumbent Senator Dan Sullivan, forgetting his policy stance because he has none.
41Ben Meiselas:He's a MAGA dude during a debate with Mary Peltola. Hat tip to Peltola. And so he looks to her for guidance about what the answer is about Alaska. Why? Because people like him and MAGA, whether it's from Alaska to Kansas to wherever, these MAGAs are all about Trump and ballrooms and enriching themselves. And they don't, it's not public service. It's not public service. So watch this. What a moment here. Here, play this clip. Do the North Pacific Fishery Management Council and NOAA Fisheries adequately consider impacts on subsistence users, salmon migration, habitat, and indigenous ways of life?
29Ben Meiselas:Send results. Yes or no? We have two no's. Thank you. And look, I'll go to Kansas for a moment too. Senator Marshall, MAGA Republican Senator Marshall. This guy in his past life, he was a OBGYN, obstetrician, gynecologist. And when he was an OBGYN, you know the story with this guy, he would sue his patients if they owed him a hundred bucks or 500 bucks. I think he sued 700 patients. He would do debt collection, wage garnishments. He would screw their lives, screw up their credit. Over$100, $200 in medical debt. This is the MAGA arc. But watch him right now getting a rude awakening, reality hitting at the Kansas State Fair.
19Ben Meiselas:The Kansas State Fair. There was a debate there. He was debating the Democratic candidate who's doing great, by the way. Watch this too so you can see here playing. Those are common, common business practices. We would go a year before we would ever send somebody over.
48Ben Meiselas:I'm going to do another video of that. So I want you to check back. Today we're doing lots of great videos. Every 90 minutes or so or two hours, I'm going to do a new video. So keep checking back for all of that. Will you? Anyway, pleasure spending this time with you this morning. Thank you all so much. Shout out Midas Mighty. Thank y 'all. Before you go, our book WTF America is available for pre-order now. It's the story of how we got here and how we fight our way back to pre-order scan the QR code or click the link in the description.
