In short
A Q&A episode where the hosts answer listener questions about Christmas adverts, doing a live show/meet-and-greets, quirky “would you rather” prompts, other sports they watch, autumn/fall traditions, a house-fire “what would you save” scenario, communication preferences (whisper vs scream), becoming an instant expert, and life lessons learned.
Guest backgrounds
No guests appear; it’s just the two hosts answering questions.
Key claims
They love John Lewis Christmas adverts for the music/bells; they want a potential live audience setup (cozy theatre vibe, no phones); they’d rather fart glitter than burp confetti; they learned life isn’t a straight road and perfection isn’t real.
Notable examples
NFL talk (Patrick Mahomes/Travis Kelce; Chiefs vs Bills); autumn routines (crunchy leaves, winter wardrobe switch); saving photos/irreplaceables in a fire; choosing to scream; wanting expertise in golf/paddle or even cancer research; “let go” when plans change.

1:23hi guys welcome to daily brightness this is our favorite episode it's our q a and my word we have got some good ones today so thank you for sending your questions oh my word oh my word fire away honey this first one love this what christmas advert are you looking forward to seeing and what has been your favourite one. I really like the John Lewis ones. They're so cute. They're proper Christmassy as well. I know that sounds like cliche, but they are. Yeah. It's the music. It's like the bells, like the ding, ding, ding. And yeah, I think John Lewis actually is my favourite one, to be fair, so I'm excited for that one.
1:58Was it? Honestly, though, any Christmas, anything Christmassy. Yeah, I love getting Christmas spirit, me. I love me. I bloody love Christmas, me. Right. Next one is from Demi. Would you ever do meet and greets? So I think this is a good question because we have obviously discussed about doing a podcast episode with a live audience, which I think would be quite interesting. Yeah, like imagine like we're sat on sofas. I think we'd be nervous, you know. Yeah, but I feel like we'd bounce off the crowd. This is my vision, right? I'm going to tell you my vision. I'm going to set it for the fans so that they can bring it to life.
2:39Me and you, we're on the couch, got us a cup of tea, got us favourite chocolates. It's a nice mood, low lighting, everyone's chilled. I imagine, like, comfy seats. I don't want anyone on plastic chairs. Yeah, like a small, not like a cinema, but like a small, like, theatre type. Snug. Yeah, but I want people, like, having their feet up, have some popcorn, cough, get your phones out, do whatever you want. No, I don't want them to be on the phones. Listen, to all. No phones, phones in the cage. But I envision, like, when we're talking, fans like interacting a little bit laughing a bit yeah like just you know obviously i don't i like to think they were laughing and not sleeping but i just think it would be super cool that and i think honestly i think it'd be right up our street i think it'd be wicked so yeah maybe not meeting greets wicked he's gonna be wicked man maybe not meeting greets but we're gonna do a we are looking to do it so keep your eyes peeled don't worry we'll give you all the info relax calm it's coming yeah christmas time so maybe that's our version of a meet and greet right this is a really really random question but would you rather burp confetti or fart glitter well i think i'd rather burp confetti because imagine if someone was annoying you in front of you just go i don't know confetti just hits my face Yeah, but I think I'd rather fart glitter because imagine burping confetti and it's all stuck in your throat and you're constantly like gagging.
4:06Yeah, but imagine you sat down and every time you fart, like do a sneaky fart and it's just glitter on your seat or something. Yeah, but at least it's glitter. It's sparkly and nice. It's smelly glitter. But I'm going with... Oh! Oh! I'm going with burnt one. I am farting glitter. Oh, I like this from Lynn. Do you watch any other sports besides football on a regular basis? Mine would be the NFL. Mine is the NFL. Love it. But of course you're a Chiefs fan. That's so annoying. Why? Patrick Mahomes. Yeah, but like, why are you a Chiefs fan? Because they're fucking sick. Yeah, you like them because they're good.
4:40No, I like them because they're exciting. No, you just jumped on the Chiefs. No, no, no. Like everyone else. Zip it, zip it. I'm fed up of Chiefs fans, to be honest. One, I love Patrick Mahomes because I think he's an absolute baller. Have you watched the documentary on Netflix? Yeah, so sick. Travis Kelsey, they're my two favourites because... Well, yeah, because they're the two best. But they make themselves the best. Like, they make themselves the best. They don't cut corners. They do absolutely everything. They put the responsibility on themselves every single game to perform. Like, I can relate to that as a player.
5:14And I think the way they like playing stuff, it's exciting. The Chiefs are good, but they're a bit annoying because I'm just bored of them now. Well, I can't help love winning. I love it. The Chiefs are good, and I do really like Patrick. But those two players, they make the Chiefs team. They are like, they're the engine in it. They're that little something that make them different. Yeah. So yeah, well into the boys last night. Oosh. Well, I'm a Bills fan. Boo! And the Bills are sick. The Bills are going to go to the Super Bowl this year. Josh Allen, best quarterback. That. Joke. Daily Briders need to go to a Super Bowl.
5:47That is on my bucket list. Go to a Super Bowl. I lived in America for 10 years and never went to a Super Bowl. Got it. Nah, best it. if we were that was literally my ultimate goal go to the Super Bowl imagine it imagine it imagine it oh sick manifest manifest manifest that'd be sick but yeah I think NFL is probably one of my favourites and I do like watching tennis really like watching tennis actually my mum loves tennis I love tennis it's only to take a Wimbledon good question what are your favourite fall traditions so that's like autumn bestie if you didn't know that's like an American way of saying autumn erm I know what you're going to like, because you're going to be the same as me.
6:27Going for a walk when leaves have fallen off the trees and they're crunchy. And it's crisp outside. And it's all orange and red, beautiful coloured leaves. But when it's bright sunshine, but freezing, it's all that misty, like... I love that. I love autumn. And I love dogs running around when it's all... Grasses all, like, crispy and, like, they just... Yeah, a bit of annoying, though, because they're piss-wet through, dragging all mud into us. Well, yeah, but they have a lot of wash. It's one of my favourite seasons, Autumn. Yeah, it's by far the best. And I love all the leaves dropping off and it's just starting to get cold.
7:00You've got your big winter coats on. I said that the other day. I've got all my life, just changed my wardrobes over from summer wardrobe to winter wardrobe. I'm like, yes. Give me the coats. Give me the gilets. Get my young boots down. I laughed. And I like all the smells. Like when you walk into a shop and it's like a pumpkin candle on or something. Pumpkin or pumpkin latte. No, I don't like that. I don't like that. I don't like that at all. But yeah, we're the same. On that note, we'll take a quick break and come back with some more questions. Well, answers to your questions after the break.
7:34See you soon.

9:05Guys, we're back. Here's part two of the questions, and this is from Fred. This is a bit of a dark question. I hope this never happens, by the way. Well, me too, Fred. But if your house caught fire and all your family members, friends, and dogs were safe outside, what's the first thing you are saving? My safe. I'm not saving nothing. No, to be fair. If all my people are outside, if my friends and family are outside and my dogs are outside, I don't care about material. I couldn't care less about anything in the house. No, but do you know what I would say? Photos might be my only thing. In my lot, I've got some of my dad's stuff so that'd be the first thing I'd go for.
9:40Best thing I'd run straight back in for you for that. That's cute. But I'd say things that, yeah, maybe that family members have passed down but other than that, nothing. Not memories. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, things that can't be replaced, I'd try and save. But other than that, the most important thing would be people and the dogs. Absolutely. And let me reverse your question. If they were all in the house, I'm going back in the house. Yeah, exactly. 100. As long as they're out, I couldn't care less if I was in. So, yeah, but Fred, me too. I hope that never actually happens. Yeah, let's not manifest that.
10:09Let's not put that into universe. Get that out of our heads. Right, next question. would you rather only be able to whisper everything you say or scream everything you say? Well, we basically scream everything we say anyway. Scream. Imagine whispering, like, off that pitch perfect. I hate my twin in the womb. Yeah, guys, I've got something I want to say. Oh, that would irritate me so bad. I'd be like, speak up, what are you saying? I know, that's me. I'm like, I can't hear you. Everyone says to me and Rachel all the time when we used to be in England, why are you shouting? I'm like, why are you not listening?
10:43I'm having to shout because you're not listening. Oh, when someone says to you, don't shout at me. I'm not shouting. I'm just raising my voice. I'm just on level 10 consistently. Sorry, love. But yeah, I'd rather scream. I hate whispering. I'm like, speak up. What are you saying? Me too. Okay, next one. Rich, if you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be? Oh, good question. Golf or paddle. I want to be so good at them. I want to be amazing, but I'm not. Yeah, golf I want to be really good at. But in actual fact, if I wanted to be an expert in something, it'd be something that's going to make me millions of pounds.
11:18I was just trying to think. I was trying to think smart, like maybe like a doctor or something or like a surgeon or... Surgeon, that's what I'd want to do. A surgeon. Yeah, or I would... Do you know what I would want to try and do is like... Listen, I think there's a cure for cancer out there, me. Yeah, 100%. And if they're in, then I want to be the one that finds it. Like that bestie a lot. So I'd like to be an expert in leading that. That just went really deep, sorry. But I just think that's something that I just think is just, I'm really passionate about. I think we're coming up to our final question now, guys.
11:51Final question of the day, and this is a good one. What a life lesson you've learned the hard way? Ooh. I would say, for me, nothing is a straight road. Like, you're going to come to roundabouts, you're going to come to stop signs, you're going to hit brick walls. There is nothing linear about life. Like, you are going to be faced with so many obstacles. So much trauma, so much difficulties, but along the way you'll have the best time figuring it all out. So I would just say life in general, like it's not a straight line. I think she's absolutely nailed it. I think we both learnt that, to be honest, these last couple of years.
12:28I think we both learnt that. I'm a sucker for planning and if it don't go to plan, oh, I get so angry and emotional and upset because then I start thinking, I overthink it and think people don't care because plans have changed and this and that and I'm like no I'm just so used to having like a plan and a schedule I think the lesson I've learned is to just let go let let go like just live life let go like stop trying to plan and schedule and everything be perfect perfect don't exist like Rach said life is life and everyone's looks very different and everyone gets to their end result very very differently and that is fine I feel like I fell off the cliff a couple times but I'm still here at the bottom to throw you back up we're bouncing each other back up we're each of us trampoline that's what we are yeah it's a fair one good shout yeah don't expect perfection because it does not exist and backward signs falling off going off track it is normal it's part of life I don't think there's one human that hasn't fell off the track but you just got the people to put you back on luckily she sat right opposite me but guys that is it thank you so much for your questions keep sending them in we look forward to the next lot of questions and we will see you very soon take care bye guys bye
