0:35I'm taking care of my health. Don't be afraid of Tharu. I never used to like when people used to call me. Like this is Anil Seth's son. That really hurt me. Ashish Chanchalani, an actor and director. We will talk about his insecurities, loneliness and controversies. Which is behind the public image. and that's what I found after my father. Tommy, what is a bad habit that I have done by my father? No need to listen. Stubbornness. I have this from my father. My father is very stubborn, very strong. I am also strong. Did you feel any insecurity about him? Yeah, I've been very obese. Everywhere I used to go, I was good with him.
1:20Ultimately, he is a big. He can understand his big. So when I broke my heart, also in that phase, where you were almost in the breakdown, which was the thing you had to do? I was sitting in my house. I couldn't understand anything. I was crying. I was watching my channel and I was thinking, who is this? Who has made this? I can't do this myself.
1:54I have no idea what I have. I have no idea what I have. But I have no idea what I have. My team, Yuas Kunal, Adu, Jashu, I don't know what I have to do. My happy life doesn't matter. I have to stay in my feelings. The biggest secret to friendship is communication. Loneliness feels like that. I feel lonely. I don't have any life today. I'm not able to love. Trust issues. I've met people in the past that I've collaborated with. I know that these people are becoming a big stigma and a big gangster. But in real life, these people are so much of a shame. They talk about kindness. They are all the big ****.
2:38What did you pull a stunt? Ellie and your relationship? When Poonam Pandey was a stunt, you said it's a worse publicity stunt. Then you pulled off a similar sort of stunt. Yes, yes, yes, I know. Don't you think it's like heavy hypocrisy?

3:16People hate successful people. Always. they will always you feel so 100 % 100 % I mean a jealousy factor comes and comes and you can't please everyone do you think it's only India that it's worldwide it's worldwide but in India I feel a little bit when I was new to this field I was being loved when I was underrated the moment I got mainstream a sudden wave I started people started like and that time I come from a very small city I didn't get it I was scared so that just media training is going on I was shocked I said why do you think why hate people I think once they get popular so people have set a parameter I like you only till here once you cross that I can't take it why?
4:26I have no idea this is purely talking from the ones who are insecure like they set a boundary that I would like to see you so much now it's more it was a show in scam Harshad Mehta something is interviewed he also said this character is happening now so I think it happens after a point people can't take it people can't take success seeing someone and successful people will always be villains in everyone's eye in Spider-Man movie when Green Goblin gets him and keeps him on the rooftop I never say that first they will love you and the day will come they'll tear you down well they'll hunt you they will not be able to stand you I think I didn't understand that scene but now I think that what person had written that line in the screenplay what was it thinking that when they had written that Spider-Man's popularity on the basis psychologically that thing so this is everybody everybody faces is hate when they get mainstream but I think starting hate then mid people support you and then top hate again it's when you start something new people are like what is this I'm not able to understand what the hell is this guy doing or this girl is doing then you get a cult audience they start loving you now you're underrated people say there's always a big fish I believe there's always a small fish in front of which you will be overrated I completely You're from a Forda.
6:17I come from a rich family. And I've never hidden it. It still worked for me. But do you think people hate that about you? Yeah. There is a certain section that always discredits my work because they think that I had it easy. Although I have never ever like portrayed it that you know, I've been quite vocal about the fact that I was in a good family. I was in a good family. My parents have given me good life. So, people would say before, you should hide it. But, I kept thinking, why? If my parents have given me such a good life, it's a massive disrespect to them that I'm trying to lie. Also, I see a lot of people who are rich in this country, whose children, they come from a very good family, they're not doing anything.
7:13They're not. True. So I want to set out an example out there. I want to break that stereotype. You know not all rich family kids are Iyash. You just make an image and keep it in the house. No. I feel the best thing to happen to someone is that if they are born in such a family use that. True. Use those resources to build something. There was a stat. I don't know how true that is. but this was 3 ,000 ,000 people 3 ,000 ,000 people in India whose mother-in-law is the money only 7 % kids out of those 3 ,000 ,000 families so it's only 7 % of children who have more success they are very rare so it's also a very rare thing even if just because you're rich doesn't mean you'll be successful also Raj I believe just because I want to put it out on record just because somebody's rich it doesn't mean that they are evil please guys I have seen rich people yes 80 % of them give you the vibe that they are assholes but trust me there are good people too I have seen rich people who are so simple they don't show a penny off now my friend his name is Ansh Jagwani he's the guy who got messy to India he's the guy who made Salman meet Khabib I think he knows Trump also Donald Trump that day he showed me a message where he was talking to Elon Musk yet Ansh has never mentioned this to anyone outside and if you'll see him you'll be like this guy knows him but he never shows it off and he's the sweetest guy ever he will help everyone rich, poor, middle class everyone so this is the stereotype maybe I don't know it's the influence and yes college people have you know where they come from which family and they just flaunt their money they come in big cars and their father called father called and they took a minute and they gave the seed I'm sure but you know my college admission is also merit in my M.H.C.E.T.
9:34I scored 151 which was one of the biggest scores on my own merit I'm a good student science and I didn't in any college I was in my house so guys not every rich person is evil and I don't want to lie that I come from a rich family why do you think why do you think that people think like if someone has money and is an ameer then he is not he is evil baby it's the film why do you think he is a big father he is a young father he is a young father No bro, I'm taking care of my health. Don't drink Dharu. Don't drink. You've been doing this. Yeah, see. See, there's one point in your life. I think that film, my very popular meme template is.
10:28This is the picture you're watching, you guys have a meme template. I took a movie called, Vakt. Akshay Kumar and Amita Abachan Ali. That movie changed me. that movie changed me because he has seen so as a son Akshay Kumar he has seen a very Amir family so my father had seen a picture and he gave me warning that if you haven't done anything you will also be like that you will also be like that but I was scared that is this the kind of person I want to be that's just spending his dad's money or do I want to do something that makes his own name and also sorry Sorry Papa but I have to say this. I never used to like when people used to call me.
11:11Like this is Anil Seth. No offense. I thank God that I was born to him. I am very thankful. But I want to make my own name. Why? Because then people will always view as you know connection. How do I explain? I will give you that feeling. anywhere you go you will always be dependent on your dad anywhere you will be dependent on dad you get married your wife needs something it will never be because of you it will always be because of dad how do you see yourself in your wife's eyes that you are doing it's not your name and it's not a show off it's not a show off to come from a rich family I'm sorry it feels just empty so you don't have any self worth you don't have any knowledge every place I just went to that oh this is the multiplex so one time it happened that I was stuck somewhere and I'm telling them they've met me but they don't remember I'm like I'm Ashu they're not ready to help me out Raj they're not ready I'm telling I'm Ashu I've met you and I'm like I'm Anil Janjalani's son Ashok Anil Multiplix they're like oh that hurt me that really hurt me that was the point where I was like when will it go?
12:47so now in the film line people are like this is Anil's son whose show came he gives me a happy he gives me a lot when I meet my father's friends you know what's the worst thing that happened to me I met this girl on Monday I am telling her about what I want to be my ambitions in college she is very dry she is very cold to me next day she came to know that I have a multiplex she is now very nice to me
13:18a friend told me that's a good thing I am like no that's not a good thing that's not real she changed because she found out that I come from an influential family and I can be of help to her But I'll, I'll judge her too. Maybe she comes from a place where money is important. Let us not get into that conversation. But it really hurt me, man. Like, what about my identity? Tell me about your father and your relationship. He's given all his life to multiplex. Like, and he always wanted to prove himself that, you know, he's, he's right. He had to. Comes from a family where everybody used to think he's, he's a dumbo.
14:00I was like that but no he was the true pillar of the family what do you mean madam that he didn't do anything my father was very obese very obese in our family there was obesity so he was very obese so he was certain he was like a guru he had to get a job but he always he was standing up to prove to everyone that he loves everyone he loves his brother he loves his sister and ultimately when the time came he's the one who took care of everyone so papa used to be extremely busy okay and he always so my dad when he gave him multiplex so he was like I just don't want to sit I want to expand it it was our single screen so he made a multiplex on his own like a good five screen multiplex so I used to see him breaking his back I used to see him working hard so I think I have picked up those qualities from him only so this is true in family my grandfather was like this my grandfather was able to prove to his family who he is my grandfather was also in his family and I hope this tradition continues forever tell me one bad habit from papa I don't want to listen to this.
15:29Stubbornness. I have to wake up this to Papa. My father is very stubborn, very strong. I am also strong. He is strong in my mind. My mother is not strong. He is sad to you, Papa. So I think that the workload has lost his mind. I always thought, why is he so stubborn? Why is he so short-tempered? Why is he so short-tempered? He was in business. I used to be like full definition of a man now when I'm growing up now when I'm seeing I realized that yes I was like this I've seen so many things now I'm chill but in all these years Papa has supported me he's been amazing but he's a bad guy Papa was living in work so his patience level was a little lower threshold was a little lower so we were thinking but mommy was very supportive mommy used to explain to me what do you do but he's never been that kind of a guy who will come home and take out his anger over kids or over our wife the one thing that I've learned from my family is how to respect women it's amazing like how my dad has taught me that like the best way if you're angry is to take some space that time you always have to talk about it when you have to talk about it because in anger there is temporary emotion you have to take a temporary emotion in temporary emotion you have to take a permanent decision you have to take a permanent decision in anger you can do a lot of things so it's better to just take some space this is my dad's taught if there is no any anger no anger if it comes don't talk take some space cool off and you will realize that you were thinking about that time and after cooling off when you were thinking about you are thinking about you are very different and mom?
17:21mommy my mother is not short tempered my mother is a very bubbly very extroverted good hearted you say everything's good you say everything's good you say everything's good you say everything's good you talk about my papa is like I don't want to talk to anybody else I'm good in my own peace I don't need to socialize papa is an introvert mommy is an extrovert wow I think your papa is an extrovert mommy is an introvert so I have picked up some habits from my papa some habits from my mother it's a mixture I used to be till a point in my life I used to be like my papa introverted but as I grew I became extroverted and I'm a very sensitive person me I'm a very sensitive person and it comes from mother it comes from my mother one bad habit you picked from mother mother?
18:15very impatient both of us and she knows it so I have told you that if Papa is in anger or Mom is in anger now solve it, talk about it this is the one habit that I have picked up from my mother and too sweet we are both of us it's a good thing but that lets people take advantage of you who has advantage of you relatives has done with my mom how many people in college did this you know ask money I have given money let's not take a look or help someone out of the way and help people and people who are talking about you don't mention you have no backup option I will take this in a bottle I have heard this in voice note in my family when you hear how do you feel like this?
19:19my heart is broken I have been like this in a relationship what? I mean I am a very giving person when it comes to love but then I heard things about me he is an overly sensitive guy you can shut him down you know I'll tell him this so he'll be robbed he'll be able to he'll be able to he's a soft hearted I can keep him on hold but I believe sensitive people are sensitive up till a point if you're leaving then they also they also cross threshold then they're the most ruthless people then they don't care no it happened to me overnight do you lost feeling I was like I'm done and that that was the point I started working on myself now I never did it because I heard that I did it to prove myself that I can do it if it comes to I have taken one thing I can do anything this power to change my body that I have to change my body that after 2 years when I am here today So I can see behind that if I can reduce my body fat from 90 to 90, I can reduce my body fat, I can do anything in life.
20:45Because I took my hands and it was strong. So I feel like I have self-confidence to myself. That my time will come, I will get the opportunity. But did you believe that you were in the inside? No. I've never let anybody make me believe. but did you feel any insecurity about you yeah yeah obviously I was I was a very obese guy I was very fat and you were like I'm very big I'm very big I'm very big I'm not attractive you felt like yeah yeah always and I was made to feel all my life made to feel everywhere I used to go people when you are big you get to know you get to know you get to know always and you cannot escape that no matter how delusion you are that no brother his heart is good, no one doesn't do such a thing no one doesn't see anyone ultimately, he's a big he's a big I used to see comments about myself there was an app in Akki Nater he's a favorite youtuber is he fat can you imagine so that, what really hurt me is not the fact that I'm fat what really hurt me is the fact that this has become my symbol now it has like that I don't have any identity what the hell he has made so many careers he has made so many years he has made so many videos and yet people just see the fat guy and you know what people say that you shouldn't pay heed to it I always say to you that people will say but that's the only thing they used to say when they can't find anything else in you they come to this how he looks and I am I don't care about it on myself.
22:32I don't care about it on myself. You don't feel beautiful or attractive. You don't care about it. You don't care about it. What's your habit of being out?
22:42Always this. Always this. Always this and always this. I do it now. I sit with you. I don't know if you noticed or not. It's a habit of being out. Every place. why is it because you are always conscious about my belly if i'm always even even if i have a little belly i'm always i'm always i'm always my big old idea that i'm okay i'm feeling so before it didn't feel so but people have to say and say and say and say and say and say people put it in your mind at that time two advice one one percent people say go go go right 99 % you don't need to give attention it's okay whatever when you were fat and now that you have worked on yourself what do you think is better I think the best way first of all no don't be fat but I have a very different reason for it.
23:52It's not because I can't take you when I'm making fun of you. Trust me, it changes your life. It does. What? People respect you a lot. Do you really feel that people are just more than old or old, respect more than old? What do I do? I haven't done it. Same people, industry people, viewed me very differently back in 2023. They view me very differently now. I have been treated different in auditions I have been treated different the way women also approach me 100 % I can I am not boosting I am not I wish this was not true a part of me wishes this was not true but it is what it is and somebody had told me this somebody gave me this advice from industry you need to get like sculpted get fit trust me it will change your life and I was not paying attention to them but they gave me a big advice I said to myself that your big brother you look cute but you look cute 30 cross you have your uncle
25:07but 30 you have your cuteness then you become a teddy bear and you become a pooky uncle and you become a pooky uncle and you know when someone told you it will break your heart technically I am 32 I am also if I say my kids I don't know but I understand what context they are saying they were saying and they were right they were right so to every fat person that is watching this right now and everybody who is plus please do it for your own self for once just to prove your own self that you can do it but see you were famous famous rich fame both attention you were at one point you when YouTube didn't grow much, you were these shit yeah because YouTube and Instagram have made multiple people's stuff but at one point you guys were the only stuff first mover advantage you guys were everything attention, female attention respect, everything female attention and you're saying that after that the B but now that you're thinner yeah yeah just that attention love fame se zahada tujhe attention se patlion honae pe mlla ra ha it's very weird I'll tell you something Raj doh minute ke liye na tu bhol ja my youtuber tu meri jagaha my ashu my kidhar bhi jata tha mujhe attention sirv isle mil rah tha kye ki my famous ho mujhe agar ladkiya se bhi attention mil rahe okay you know what and I'm not talking about the fan attention that is cute I never I am not that guy that if a girl is approaching this line I am talking genuine female attention she is interested in you.
26:53Romantic attraction. I could see it was only because they used to watch my videos or I made them laugh which is okay good but when I used to go to places where people don't know me I was treated like shit that you don't know okay but that has changed now that has changed that changed when I was in Europe I got approached by multiple girls and and let me tell you something I'm not boasting women are coming and I'm like me? so I'm telling you you know what I used to be very obese I'm not used to the kind of attention you're giving me now I'm trying to hold her to the kind of attention don't fall in my head I'll be crazy I don't have attention I don't have any attention.
27:43I don't get all the attention. So, it is I am trying to tell everybody She must be talking to you more after you tell this. I am like that. So, I have seen people change and it's weird. It's weird. But there were also people when I was fat that met me and when they realized what kind of person I am but that stayed. They were there. Whatever did not happen that whatever did not worked out was purely because of right no no I'll tell you the girls that saw saw through the person I was even if it did not work out it was because of personal confrontations or personal problems differences they're still my friends I'll tell you what I've come out of a toxic relationship but there was also a woman in my life who is not my girlfriend anymore and we are very good friends because we respect each other we are there for each other, we are as friends and we very respectfully decided to part ways because we realized we are both very different we want different things in life she wanted something else, I wanted something else do you think your next girlfriend will be a problem because she is a friend dude, see if my next girlfriend if I tell you honestly, don't talk to her I will do that.
29:12I'll make my partner feel secure. I'll do that. And so when you lost weight, as you see yourself, that changed? That changed your confidence? Very, very. I started taking care of my hair, my skin. I started taking care of the way I'm wearing clothes. So I had to come to half a day that I'm going to buy clothes now, I get my size today. I was disappointed that I'm not on 38. I don't have jeans on 38. I don't have pants on 38. Last double XL you have. I don't have triple. It's a lot of pain. So the feeling of I can buy anything. It's a very good feeling. Plus everything changed in my life. My stamina increased.
29:59Now I'm able to work for 18 hours at a stretch. I shot 2 years I have shot. I have slept on 4-4 hours and I'm running from here and there my breath is not being pulled when you're old and you're old you don't move you can't move you can't move I was on a CD I was on a CD I was on a CD my breath is pulled now I'm on a CD I can track so that looking good is not the only thing everything looking attractive is not the only thing that you get after losing weight it's the other perks you start feeling young you start feeling fresh one thing that weight loss has not solved one thing that weight loss has not solved that is my overthinking problem that is not gone I thought that weight loss after a weakness came out I will come to Zen mode that will never solve I am a very big overthinking like what?
31:00give me an example for example my last chapter is now so I will only think the worse because that's how I keep my expectations in check why are you thinking worse? I feel like don't expect disappointment and you will not be disappointed my mantra is in life I don't know, I think this because if I think a lot all negative outcomes all negative outcomes but sometimes I think that attitude do it. And sometimes it comes one day when you're gone. What if it's very bad. What's going on? What's your biggest fear? My biggest fear is sitting idle at home. Not getting work, not being able to do anything.
31:57That's my biggest fear. I'm saying now that I don't sit in the house. I can't sit today. Do you think if the audience doesn't accept, doesn't get love, flop, flop, flop, flop, and then you don't have work, what do you do at home? I'll do anything. I'll do anything. I know. I'll flop. I won't flop. I won't flop. I won't flop for myself. I won't flop for myself. I won't let myself. I won't let myself. why are you still in your eyes I think last two years when I disappeared from the public eye I was a little sad that I put my career side and I started focusing on my personal life although I shouldn't feel bad about it it's my choice but then I also realized that this is something that really affects me not working not paying attention to career not paying attention to YouTube whatever this career is it does affect me in that moment I enjoy it it's like I enjoy it like a break but when I come back I feel productively guilty and that guilt eats me up that you should not take it do you think that's one of the worst decisions of your life no it's one of the best I'll tell you why because I made a kaki because of that I believe whatever happens happens for a reason I'm not saying that I'll do this now that's already happened one mistake but the path that I took led me to making I do believe that if that part never happened if I never got out of that stupid relationship I would have never lost weight I would have never lost weight I would have never made this show which requires me by the way to be thin and lean and you will realize why once the next chapter comes so I would have always been stuck in my comfort zone I would have always been that when the light was when I was getting the light when I was getting the light because of that I was getting because of that you were always God complex you were it was happened in one time in 2018 it was happened in 2018 when in one year I got 8-8 million I felt invincible what do you feel feel that I'm untouchable and then life check reality what was that feeling that you thought that you you know the best you know the numbers everywhere you go everybody is like you have their attention but that's all gloss that's all glamour what was that when egoistic when God becomes complex when egoistic I didn't listen to anyone that I was thinking that I was doing it that's right but what?
35:00yes that's right that's right that's right that's right that's right and I did a lot stupid things at that time but then life gave me a reality check there were many things and then I realized that it's just a phase it's a constant struggle I used to tell yourself Ashu you're still the same guy at heart you're still the same 10 ,000 5 ,000 subscriber and you'll have to work hard like it's 5 ,000 subscribers I never had any attention in my life. My place is such a way that when I didn't get it, and suddenly I had so much attention in the time, I probably didn't handle it. But I was happy that I got to get to early age.
35:40And that prepared me for now. So now what happens? That's when I got complex. 2017-18, whatever happened. That's the habit of me that I have to get. When I get it, it doesn't affect me in any way. What is the habit of my bad? my bad are red flags in you red flags I am very impatient I am an impatient guy I don't know if you count that as red flag I zone out a lot space I don't have a girlfriend but space I always zone out but the thing that zone out is not that way because I am frustrated my thoughts are in my world Okay. Okay. My biggest red flag is that I say something very harmless. Very harmless.
36:34I don't say something wrong. I don't say something wrong. But harmless means that I have said to him, I'm going to sleep. I actually watch TV TV. I will see it. Because it is my time.
36:54One thing is, I was with my girlfriend. We were sleeping at night. I had to watch a show today. I couldn't watch it. I couldn't watch it. So I took it away from the last night. And I went to the hall and watched TV.
37:18and the next day I have pretended to be like I was sleeping with you so you are aware that it's harmless I think it will be a drama but I don't know for me to take my time and take my time I will take my time I will talk about it I don't have anything I don't have anything I will tell you sometimes it's like you go out somewhere so if you talk to a girl, you can ask me if you have asked me, I will tell you I will tell you, see this is not something so I don't like that, but harmless joke, I will tell you this is my red flag your heartbreak? yes, it is, it is you did not do it? you did not do it or did it?
38:06it was my heartbreak I was you were dumped yeah, I was dumped I was dumbed maybe because I was not she didn't like me simple what better I love it but you know one thing we men need to understand if she doesn't want it she doesn't want it not everything has to be about ego not everything has to be so personal you don't need it so when the heartbreak and also in that phase where you were almost in a breakdown and you were angry and you were worried which was the thing you wanted to do I said I said I said I was sitting in a house I was not a two-three days. I was just watching the ceiling on the wall.
39:20I was not sure. I was not understanding. I was just crying. I was sitting in one place. I was sitting in two hours. I was doing nothing. Just staring blank in the wall. Looking at my old. I mean, sometimes I was like this day that I was watching my channel and I was like, I can't do this. Who is it? Who has made it all? Is it my fault that I made it all? I can't do it again. At that time, I was like, I can't do this. What do I say? Mental erectile dysfunction. That's the word I've given it. You don't feel it inside. You go numb. I didn't do anything. I ate so much. I ate everything. I didn't get to meet anyone, I didn't talk to my parents.
40:16I was in a room, I was in a polar bear. I was in a hibernation. I didn't go to a wedding. I was very upset. I was angry. I was angry. I was angry. What's the worst thing you have done? What's the worst thing? you have done in that phase I think it was alcohol alcohol is the worst behavior cutting everyone off cutting everyone off and if they are trying to help me you don't call it worse but trying to be a stubborn little that I was that time thinking what happens when you are in pain you have to try to give all the advice and you don't understand that the thought is really good so I will do it
41:07using their own feels what's wrong that brother, this is not right, I cannot see it, so I will help you. You got angry, angry? My brother is angry, my brother is my mother is my son, to be angry with her, that you don't know anything.

41:31Sometimes, it comes out of my words, that you don't know me in my place, you don't know this. You don't know this life, you don't know what happens, how to handle it all, fame, hatred, love, love, body, handle करना मजाग की बात नहीं है बट देन मुझे फिर जब अब मैं वापस देखता हूँ कि साला मैं सोचता हूँ उसने भी कितनी कुछ handle किये चीजे मैं कितना लख्की हूँ कि मुझे यह life मिली उसको नहीं मिली life बट फिर भी हो आया you are helping me you are holding me you are holding me so the worst thing was being yeah to your own people no matter what the world there is no difference but yeah I think there was one day Raj when I had a t-shirt and I saw myself in the mirror and I cried so much I was looking so bad so disappointed with my body with my skin I mean my skin pigmentation whole I was eating so much processed food I started to grow my eyes my eyes my face bloated there was no lifestyle disease diabetes thyroid almost diabetes I was very close pre-diabetic and pre-thyroid I was there almost loneliness feel now you feel lonely yeah I do feel lonely why there is nobody to like Like I'm not able to love.
42:58I'm not in that stage only, state only. My love is Ekaki right now. It's my wife, it's my baby. But I feel like I'm not able to love.
43:13I'm not coming to anyone. People are trying to do it. But I'm not able to give it. I'm not able to give it back. What does it feel like? When you're lonely, what do you feel? when I'm lonely like when you go home you're like just like you feel sad about it everyday yeah I feel very sad sometimes I miss it I miss companionship I miss cuddles miss all of that but there are nights where I feel very lonely but then I'm like you had your chance you choose the wrong person do you think it's your fault? yeah it's my fault
44:19and as a man do you feel it's more difficult because you can't tell someone to say as a man it is very difficult because as a man you're not allowed to cry I know very cliche this is the most cliche thing you're hearing from every man but it is the truth you're seen as weak why if you feel that you cry then what will happen to people he's not a man enough to handle things suddenly his crying and his weak point will be equated as oh he's not a responsible guy. He'll not be able to handle pressure when the time comes. Everything comes to that point when he's crying. Now suddenly this has become the judgment point.
44:59Oh, you failed. You cried. Pressure is not being handled. You're not being held. You're a child. You're a child. You're a child. You're a child. You're not crying. You're not sharing. You're not sensitive to your child. You're saying and I'm like shocked. And same look online story that men also need to be heard. That's why they see some delights, which is annoying. Like, like a transformers, such as talismress sizes, sometimes battling so long as such as whatever like-txesก markers like that, Kindness What we talk about Online Something else You get to meet people Like creators Yeah I don't get to meet creators Yeah I don't get to meet creators But I don't even know I actually live far Yes But there are people Who are like So fake I mean Something else Something else Basically Thumbies I don't get to meet creators I don't get to meet creators They don't get to talk They don't get to talk They're fans They're they treat them like shit I tell you why are you here you're lying I don't have time I don't have time I don't know I'm not able to see I'm busy I'm not able to see how are you talking about you're talking about photos of you what are you I'm so many times I'm so happy I'm so happy I'm so happy I'm so happy I'm so happy I'm so happy I'm the best part I'm staying I also say that I don't have a photo.
46:56I'm going to make a photo. Because every day you don't have a photo, you will go to your eyes. I'm going to make a photo. I've seen it. People are very happy with fans. As a man, what do you feel? The biggest responsibility is your biggest? The pressure is what you think? As a man, the biggest pressure is to keep everyone. keep everything together, keep everything together, keep everything, plus your life, maintain your responsibility, as a mother, a daughter, a family, a career, a personal problems, money, investment, everything is all, and you have to keep it cool, you are supposed to be cool about everything, you are constant on a watch, is he cool or not, oh he is cool, good,
47:52are you big brother? I am a big brother yeah I have a brother you are an elder brother so you have a brother or a sister? younger brother okay I have a younger sister I feel just the biggest I have sisters as well but we are in joint families they are cousins but they are sisters so it's the same I feel like as a man the biggest pressure If you want or don't want, you will give the world and family. The pressure is that you want to go all the time. You want to go all the time, yes. If you are a young man and you are a big young man, that is true. So, this is expected that you want to go all the time.
48:37You want to go all the time to talk to people. You want to go all the time to take care of your brothers and sisters. You want to go all the time to earn money. You also listen to the mother's parents. you have to take your mom and dad and take your family to you and take your family's responsibility you have to take everything you have to come you have to handle pressure, control and gain, gain everything you have to come because if you don't have anything you have to match 9 things out of 10 and you don't have to come you are no more a good man you are not seen strong trustable man yeah that is true that is true that's the that's that's a blessing and a curse I know once someone said that something will happen you will tell yourself not tell yourself I was thinking is this true or not I am yet to understand this and whenever you talk about when two girls talk about everybody will be like they have so many things easy for you this is the reality this is the reality this is blessing and curse at the same time no but I everything doesn't if you're talking about two girls nobody is comparing themselves with women we're not trying to bring with just two men having a conversation about men only nobody is trying to belittle any other gender sometimes people make it about everything about gender war but it is not it's not it's not it's just what it is people expect a certain thing from men and they expect they should have to get out everything that is true you should know everything everything and as much as I feel there is a blessing how do you see this as a blessing I don't know because with such pressure and such things I might have better if it is if it doesn't happen in my mind psychological pressure that my family should keep up my brother my mom I have never failed in any family but I can't afford to fail so I probably don't work with such strength and power and obsession that is true I have to pay for the family's finances if I don't create that then my wife will how to expand my business try and expand my brother you are the umbrella I'm the umbrella, I'm the one who has to do everything yes that is true I see it as a blessing that I had the biggest psychological pressure probably I was obsessed with my work and that's why I was responsible and I was better at it.
51:15I think that my team is like that when all the teams are working together, look up to me. I have done this. If I stumble, all will stumble. Yeah, that is true. The team is the same in the years? Yes. There is no one from my team. Do you think, just a question, do you think maybe it's a bad thing? No bro, no. No, I am just asking you, because with people like me or format like mine, our team expands. So, the first thing that I had 3-4, they are also with me today. We have 70-80 member team now. No, it is my view. I thought you were asking, do you still have the same people in your team? So, I was asking, I will explain the question better.
52:04so like my four-five people now they are doing 400 different things we all are together we all work together but my first videographer was now that videographer is not he is not he is doing something else so his ideas directly is not relevant that is true because I feel like if we give me ideas ideas they gave me and that was like so I probably can't grow it's like that because 5 years things change in 5 years right so I need 5 new ideas, 20 new ideas, 30 new people that is true, I need to sit with different people or listen with different people or go to the environment so that I can know new perspective maybe new people are wrong or right I don't know, I can know new perspective true very true if I listen to the same 3 people that I was listening to, maybe I and those three, we're four and three.
53:03Absolutely. Because four or four are the same. So with you, because you have humor and you write and you have the same director, writer, do you feel that if you're the same for 7 or 10 years, then maybe this growth is the same. You're not able to come up with fresh or new stuff because the same people hold you. No, the thing is, I never, but I never take ideas from there. My ideas never come from the team. Okay. my ideas come from my own experiences that I get out through fresh people but if you hang out with the same people but I don't hang out with the same people I don't hang out with the same people I hang out with different set of people I hang out with Gen Z's I also hang out with Gen Alphas and I'm up to date with everything I make sure I'm up to date with everything nice and I never stick to one thing I was like I move on I make new people I meet new people so I pick up ideas I pick up ideas from everywhere anywhere you can get from anywhere and then I bring that idea to my team that tell me this is what I have done I will tell them I think this is working, let's try this then they study on it now then they bring their new perspective on it and also we keep adding people in our team especially Gen Z's and because it's very important to stay up to date of what they are doing you can't be that our time is the best thing ultimately you will become what you hated when you were young that was what we didn't understand in our parents' time we will become that so it's very important also you know Raj it is very important to have the same people for me because I have a certain trust I know them my friends my team Yashu नाल जादू जशू यह मुझे मालूम है मुझे दोखा नहीं देगे यह मेरे साथ मेरे दुख में रहे है खुशी बेना ने इनको फरक नहीं बढ़ता है लेकिन दुख में सबसे ज़्यादा अफेक्ट होते है साथ में रहते है and I'm very proud to be that my team is still here no fall out no, no no personally, I'll tell you the biggest secret to friendship I believe is communication people don't talk about it when friends take something to take something, ego, money to take something, jealousy
55:46I don't have the confrontation power right now. I will not talk. We keep in the middle. Keep in the middle. Keep in the middle. Keep in the middle. And one day, we don't have any confrontation power. We cut off. And we don't have friends. Then in messages, text, voice notes, people come out. is coming out. That's why it is very important. If you have a problem with somebody, sit with them and talk about it like a man. If Kunal and me are talking about some discussion, arguments are coming out, we sit and talk about it. That, brother, you are short-tempered. Brother, you are changed. What happened?
56:24There was no mistake. There was no mistake. Let's talk about it. The devil went far away. What happened? And this makes us all stronger. do you feel you find it difficult to trust people yeah yeah I find it very difficult trust issues in there yes yes I have met people in past I have like collaborated with and I know what happens to be that these people are a big stigma online big gangsters but in real life people are like I have a lot of people from such people I know that I'm talking about the people who are in person and online. I know that I'm talking about it. I'm talking about my people.
57:10You give me a lot of money. But if you're a dumb person, then you give a lot of money. Don't give a lot of money. Why do you do that? You don't give a lot of money. I don't give a lot of money. I don't give a lot of money. I know these people who are online and in person. same with me and I love them I love them Samay has always been the same to me the day he's met me I never liked Samay before meeting him I used to have some image of him moment I met him he changed it I love him online with me he must do it in person with me online with me same I love that he's built that with me but I say many people today which I had in front of my eyes and this is not my own their pattern is all they go in front of me they don't they hide behind a keyboard have the balls like someone who has done it there are many people who have done it they were online and they were giving it many people and in personal life can you trust people it's a little difficult romantic relationships, friendships new people no, it's a little romantic without trust, it's a lot of me why?
58:42I don't understand what the motive is I don't understand I don't understand I don't understand I don't understand I don't understand I don't understand any gender stereotype I'll tell you If people say that girls are golden girl, I have seen girls too. I have seen girls too. I have never seen one gender. Because if my girl has broken heart, I will be 100 % sure that the other will be. jodhegi oh sweet ek lardki ki wajay se mein sari lardkiyong go gali nye dunga ye mujhe lagtah hai isi liye mein hini kud pichhe backseat leleta ho backstep leleta ho ki nahin yaar mein merhe past experiences ki saza mein koji dúsri lardki ko kuyo dung us bichari ki kya galti there are women in my life who come and approach me they like me but I've clearly told them that you know I am I am not in the space I am not I am a very good girl they do everything but that is why the one thing is the good person is that is why that is why I take a little distance you don't deserve the bad karma that I got so I tell my zone have you tried therapy I used to but then I was talking about therapy.
1:00:19I was talking about it. But now I feel like my friend is my therapist. Yes, my brother is Gashu. I sit with him. Must be. No, no. Why? What do you think? I was doing the same thing with my friends. My style was the same. Why did I do it? And my therapy is going watching movies. please, I love it. I go to the picture alone. I go to the camera alone. I look at the bed. I analyze it. Then I talk to people with other people. I have a kind of cinephile. I have Marvell fans of the film online. Like Rowan Joshi. He is also a fan of Marvell. I have talked to him. I forget about that. I'm a kid. I like to do that.
1:01:12that's my therapy okay so I'm sitting with my father my father and me there are many conversations film business conversations everyday breakfast everyday we take update today we are talking about Raja we are talking about we talk about anything everything every movie and there is no language that we leave we will talk about Gujarati picture we will talk about Tamil we know everything business that this is toxic Duran Dar how will it do it this is all about toxic Duran Dar I am because I love both of them I love Yash I love Yash so much my love for that man is unparalleled I would want both films to do good I hate this unnecessary toxicity that you know love and I love Duran Dar I hope Duran Dar but a part of me wishes is that no one has any reasons because they both deserve a solo release I don't know it's solo even though it's a minor release because both are so big that both will go in a month both like both that's a big deal both crazy clash I think it's unavoidable because people clash why don't they do it it's fun sometimes it's beneficial I'm officially both the films.
1:02:41Good weekend. Are you asking me any opinion? Toxic Durandar. Yes, it's a must festival in the box office. I'm asking no opinion. Don't talk to me about Toxic and Durandar. Both of them are very nice. I don't talk to both of them. But you get the hate on Toxic trailer. Yes, man. I feel right. I don't know what they hate. It's a style. And you've also made a female director. I'm like, bro. I was like, bro, how ridiculous it would be on paper. They executed it, bro. Executed it, bro. This was crazy, bro. Sorry, if you want to judge me, I enjoyed the toxic teaser.
1:03:30You said that, I'm saying that it was a good decision. I was reading that your father said it's the worst decision you've taken as a business decision it's the worst thing you've done why? because Raj I'm putting it on for free on YouTube and it's a lot of money so why do you do it? can you give it to OTT? that's why I had to do it for myself some things you do it for your own heart and I had to give the audience I wanted this on my channel I wanted this on my channel I wanted this show to be there on Ashishanjlani Vines why? you will find that out because it has something very, I have taken a very different approach with it I have completed my passion through Eka Khi especially the last chapter first four chapters which I have made I made it for my audience comedy but the last chapter I have made it for my own self I have is budget the output that has come is my team says I don't believe it could have been better I also believe my VFX team and everyone believes and even the other producers that it looks like a good film like that's the kind of things I have achieved it looks like a big budgeted film which is the biggest flex for me yes it's a high budget it's a budget of a good indie film if we set out but it has still come out on a on a massive scale which is something that I've gained in the last two years that's all gone through it plus my brand work because I was there so I was only out in the kitchen I don't know.
1:05:27My CA is... I think that one day... I think that my building goes... When I was telling my balance sheet... I was telling myself... What is going on? What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing in the set? The wolf of wall street... What is the truth? What is the CA? What are you doing? Why are you doing 20 ,000 ,000? Why are you doing this? You have to eat the wolf of wall street. I said, 1500 people over 30 days we will eat food on set actors we will eat we will eat how do we not eat then why is this place why is 7 ,000 ,000 now who will tell them that they have permissions how many problems they have a camera they have a camera and when it was released do you think work all this I have 15 offers ever since the last four chapters have released and it is eight times more than the frequency of offers I was getting in the last two years what offers in the office?
1:06:34movie directions, producers acting roles people are ready to invest, people want to venture out into newer stories I have been meeting a lot of kids that are loving it and that's one of the biggest wins for me but larger comments are not about change larger comments are more about you're doing the same if they're like that I would say please wait for the last chapter this is just the start I had to get your attention I had to get attention of my old subscribers just to keep you all intact and I'm listening and if you're feeling the same, I won't do it I taught him to be with Raj Mohli sir I got to meet him make a big picture but you get the same from the public I taught him I want to tell you what is the promotion of Raj Mohli everyone thinks I think he did such a big event in Hyderabad I hosted that event by the way they made it such a big thing first look there's not a footage in the movie which they have seen it is completely rendered and created by VFX artists by the way which stupid people call easily AI those guys made giant LED screen show about it and it's so inspiring I think when this person who made RRR made Oscar people when they are doing what is it in front of us we are not anything so this it works true it works but there are ways to do it the best ways don't reveal anything talk about it go talk about it tell people okay this is happening but don't reveal save it for the last tell me Bollywood you tried two times I played the role both roles I didn't try I said audition you auditioned like Stree and Dungal both I played the role right and then Juk Juk Jio you rejected yeah yes so why why do you think you got rejected then Dungal and Sreeka time I was trying as an actor tried audition and I think I was rejected because I was fat I am 100 % sure I am 100 % sure because when I used to go to auditions they used to first check me out as soon as I entered and they were so I immediately understood that so one day I got to get a person I said I said, dude, tell me, tell me, why did I reject you?
1:09:45I'm a big one. And then, what is the one piece of advice you would like to give me? Please, go to the screen. No, you will have a role offer. Sidey. I think the role offered was also for the Jugg Jugg Jihawala. That's why it was a token funny character. I didn't do that. I didn't have the same role. I said, okay, I'm good. I felt very good. I didn't make my wife in the movie. I told you. Also, people offer this because of my brand value. Which I don't want to. I don't want to use my followers just for if something's good, then I'll use it. I have a picture of my followers Why do I say my followers?
1:10:43I'm seeing my pictures They will see So, you will see the mind of Bollywood? Everyone is going to mind Everyone is going to mind Whatever the people say That they are not going to mind Whatever the people Who are sketching in the comedy Everyone is going to be actor Everyone is going to be director If they are not going to be people started on YouTube and they got growth there. Ultimately, end goal. They're talking about it. They're talking about it. They're talking about it. There's one role, one call, they'll run before. There is no doubt about that. But the way you are choosing it is important.
1:11:28What do you think? I have just a lot of roles offered. you know I was offered a role of a villain in a South Indian film it was a real full bodybuilder role why didn't it come to me not the right time first I wanted to do something I wanted to do this when I lost fat that was crazy it was a full ruthless villain I went to the party and I saw a producer in South so he's like he is like he's like he's a very soft face but he's a long guy he'll be right and he'll be right in the role so I mean hey sir I'm I'm writing my show. I'm like, I'm sure you'll get it. I'll get it. But is it difficult? What?
1:12:19Creators get movies. It is very easy. Easy? Very easy. Creators get movies. Side-ease role. Main actors. Very difficult. Why? Impossible. Next to impossible. Why? Because a lot of people are insecure of us. Explain this. they feel threatened they feel like one is an image that an influencer that this is an influencer that doesn't come that doesn't happen that doesn't happen that doesn't happen that's what happens the other many people feel like that there is no talent there is many people feel like that all of them use them but one thing people forget that that the views are the audience the talent is the same true now Raj there is a category Raj, I will offer you a movie you are actor I will do it you are the same now you have to understand acting people will be obviously this thing I will do it people think that followers are this thing and what is the content type now I am a podcast host or a proper conversation if I am acting I am acting it's wrong to be public but we all come to the influencer category in the way you have so many following or I am if I am acting as a fashion influencer it's like that but people don't understand I don't know that all influencers are the same.
1:14:10There are categories. If I'm getting a creator of a gaming creator, then if there's a movie that's a game-related movie, then it might work. If there's a fashion influencer, if I'm getting a movie, which is a very good, like a very diva type role, he will suit it. There are content creators who write, who direct, who act. And there are so many of them. I have seen on Instagram also and these are genuinely talented people also a very big issue is that the producers this thing is that cast it because it has followers this is wrong this is wrong this is the actors I have seen many actors who have seen the reels who say that I don't have to take pictures casting and producers that the actors are not the chance they don't give the chance they are for the cloud but the cloud you are getting it's a whole loop I don't know it's a whole loop which is infinitely all are crushing producers they want shock value and influencers influencers influencers who are not able to act come in the film okay ultimately only a few audience will show up their fans will show up but there is nothing in the film there is no substance in the film there is no need of that influencer in the film that's probably thanks the loop continues nobody is really really working to put the right people in the right space that's the question why don't you get the picture creators they get offers but they don't get the lead why don't you get the lead do you think audience convert or not to theatre now who has tried in India Bowen doing a Bollywood film Bowen will pull off why not I love him.
1:16:03He should pull off. He's opening the gates. He should. We all are manifesting this for him. And I also believe he will. He's always been the first guy to do everything. And he's smart at that. He will. Tell me one thing. I wanted to ask. You have pulled a stunt, right? Ellie and your relationship. Right? That was one. Before that, when Poonam Pandha was a stunt, you said that it's a worse publicity stunt. stunt ever because you didn't have your death fake and then you pulled off a similar sort of stunt yes yes I know don't you think it's like hypocrisy heavy hypocrisy death is something that is very worse I believe that time but she was declared dead by her own people number one put out in news by her own people that she's dead I posted a picture writing finally and I never wanted it to blow up this big so in my heart I feel like I have picked it up way too much and I never put a ring or engaged it went way out of control I think it is the actress and the YouTuber thing that made it more it was your comeback which made it like that I don't think so it was more like Ashish has changed so now he's dating sorts.
1:17:31Yeah, that's it. But I never thought it would blow. If you ask me would I ever do this again? Never. Do you think you made a mistake? Yeah. If I knew this will happen. I never do that. It affected her? Yeah. It affected Ellie. In a lot of ways. But in a good way it also affected her. People were approaching her. People loved her personality who came out after a lot of people came to know about Ellie new audience like all the Gen Z's and all my YouTube audience who came to Ellie and they started following Ellie because of this but when you both talked about it did you guys speak? yeah yeah so it was evening only when I told her and I called her and I'm like Ellie I'm going right now and I will say it it's a prank so she's like no don't do it it is getting way out of hands now is not the time to do it let us just wait for it to settle down because that time it reached out to the song it was supposed to be a promotional post nothing else I think that finally finally finally finally
1:18:52you played it you never expected that it would be big I played it. I played it. She's my girlfriend. I can do that. People do it in the promotion. Where did the engagement until the marriage? I think that. Where did it happen? People do something for promotion. I said as a couple, I put something cute. Soft launch. Soft launch. I never expected that. It will blow up. After that, when it blew up, did you guys speak and be like, we shouldn't have? I told her, yeah, we shouldn't have. I think she also was like, but then we played it cool only. We were like, okay, what's happening now? What do we do?
1:19:38We tell the public that we didn't write a marriage. Smart people were also very smart. One of my things was that I had a breakup. That did. I did. I got something further. plus Ellie she's a Bollywood actress everything together just it was a mixture of all the right things in the wrong time that made it way bigger than it should have been it shouldn't have been this big but do you think that it worked because the song was like it do you think it's bad but I think it should have been in the picture for the song but it worked I think the best thing that happened out of it is that me and Ellie's friendship this is the best thing that happened out of it because we got close after that song thing happened we became good friends we fought we had arguments I think when you fight and have an argument with someone and you are still friends with them you have that space of you know what you are now true friend to her I think that's how it is tell me your biggest inferiority what's your biggest inferiority today my biggest insecurity is being irrelevant I'm afraid of it.
1:20:53Yes. I'm afraid of it. I'm afraid of it. I'm afraid of it. I'm not aware of it. I'm not saying that I'm not a TG. I'm not saying that. But now, people don't like it. I'm not saying that. I started to feel that. I'm afraid of it.
1:21:16But by God's grace, continues I think that insecurity and inferiority puts myself on this job me Inspired so man
1:21:36so it has been so well train I have nothing to do identity identity and I have so much for this I don't think anyone's attention I like everyone's attention everybody loves it so when I get so much when I get close then I have the importance I have the importance of it when I was talking about God complex I felt like what is it it's going to happen it's not it's not it's not it's not fair what's your biggest dream my biggest dream is to make films no one is making it's my biggest dream to be a director and make films that nobody is trying hence I made a copy so tell me a sort of a film you would want to make at one day some one or two films maybe in India maybe in the world would you feel like that I would make a movie that would make a movie from this world I don't know but I would like to create something like I would love to create something like interstellar in that zone not I can't even keep up to I can't even think about how Christopher Nolan thinks but I'm so I love that film so much I love the feel of that film so much space travel and wormholes and black holes it has always intrigued me so much that I want to 101 % and make something like this for the country.
1:23:13And that is very Indian. But at the same time, it's very Indian. But it's not Interstellar. Then it will be copied. Yeah. But that feel, wormhole zala, blackhole zala, it's something I want to really try. Crazy. Yeah. And also, I want to create something. It's crazy, but I want to create something like Fast and Furious. I love Fast and Furious. I also love Interstellar, but I... No, it's different. it's like interstellar and fast and furious how do I explain Raj Kumar Hirani and Rohit Shetty it's so much the two I think I think cars around India I think it's very simple if I bring some idea I think what do I think what do I think what do I think let's go hence once a hockey was made.
1:24:13So I hope I'll make one day. Let's see. Done. Thank you so much. Thank you. Kill it. Thank you so much. Thank you. I'm sold it too.
1:24:24There's a person in my team. Everybody knows. His name is Kunal. Hey, man. They played cricket at the top. How did I forget? And they beat us. Guys who don't know, they played cricket at the turf. And Ashit Chantlani's team We were like kids. We were like, I was like, embarrassing. I played first in the first life. In Mumbai. I don't know how many balling is. All people from Ulaas Nagar came from one moment. I don't know. I don't know how much I was going to get to it. I've never played under. We played like this. This is Ulaas Nagar special squad. Killer. I know. What do you think? I was going to go to Ulaas Nagar.
