In short

The episode argues that Gen Z (and urban India) is moving away from marriage due to independence, patriarchy, unrealistic expectations amplified by social media, loneliness, and AI replacing emotional/physical companionship. It predicts marriage rates will drop sharply in India by mid-century, while AI “boyfriends/girlfriends” and even humanoid robots will grow into major markets.

Guest backgrounds

Sandeep Das (host/speaker) discusses relationship and marriage trends using surveys and research, and frames arguments around evolutionary psychology (“men want beauty, women want resources”) and modern tech (AI companionship). Raj Shamani (co-host) challenges/reflects on the claims and adds personal reactions.

Key claims

  1. India “doesn’t like” successful women; men and families fear losing control, and women’s independence reduces marriage desirability.
  2. Globally, marriage markets are crashing (US: Morgan Stanley/Morgan Stanley-style stat cited: 45% of women not married by 2030; China: Economist-cited lowest marriages since 1980 and high divorces).
  3. Women initiate most divorces (claim: 70%).
  4. Five drivers: independence, patriarchy, AI/social media effects, and “delusion” (mass unrealistic standards).
  5. AI companionship will reduce the need for human relationships; AI emotional availability is a core reason.

Notable examples

  • “Rent-a-boyfriend” businesses in Japan; startups in Mumbai/Bangalore are mentioned.
  • A “bare minimum”/top-0.1% delusion example: a woman allegedly raises marriage demands from “green card” to top IIT/IIM, then later lowers standards after years.
  • China AI app “Mao Zheong” (cat-box AI boyfriend) cited as having 2 million+ subscribers.
  • Harvard/Stanford-style research claims: AI can outperform humans in emotional support; humanoid robots/sex robots are projected to expand.
  • “Rent-a-boyfriend” and “replica heartbreak” are used to illustrate tech-driven relationship substitution.

0:00As Indian society, nobody likes a successful woman. This is a fact. Why? One is, if you see a man of her age, potential husband, he feels that he is very independent. He doesn't need it. I can't control it. And this is a well-proven research. Men want beauty. Women want resources. You should have to pay for money or fame or influence. We need stability. Stability comes with money. We said that marriages in India will be finished. In 2014, marriage is not an institution in India. If 95 % of adults are married, then it will be 10 or 15%. What is the plan of parental pressure for marriage? This is one of the top three reasons for anxiety and stress.

0:44Definitely there is. Some business is called Rent-a-Boyfriend. All the women who go to these functions, they rent a guy for one day. He will pretend to be a boyfriend so that you don't irritate yourself in the function. In this generation, hook-up is a scene. dating is becoming normal. These are all things and yet Gen Z is having the least sex amongst all generations. Why? I think when they have to be really sexually active it is necessary to have a stable relationship. When you have not stable relationships then sexual activity is slowly reduced. If you see male side AI girlfriend has become a huge market because men are lonely and it is more difficult for a man to get a girlfriend than for a girl to get a boyfriend.

1:25So AI girlfriend's market is going to become a market for 2030 to 10 billion dollars. It is a research that the next wave of humanoid robots are. Their ability to physically satisfy you will be much better than the human being. Which trend you feel is going to be true? What is very interesting is...

1:55very mean and for listening to this episode you can follow us on Spotify

2:06we're gonna start this it's very funny I feel very strange to start with you so our last conversation and you said a sort of statement that prediction I don't know like this prediction right to me that was very shocking yeah I wouldn't say shocking also it's it's a statement which I'm thinking about it I'm thinking you said that marriages in India will be finished by 2047 max why why will it be finished in India I tell everyone, when I was born, the first thing is, the girl is married, how do I get married? If she is married, how do I get married? Like, that's it. And we all grow up with those values.

3:06That's why we have to get married, and marry. So, why marriage is a danger? So, I would like to say that in 2014, marriage as an institution will not be in India. Or will be very low. रहेगा अगर आज 95 % of adults are married, वो number बहुत कम हो जाएगा, 10 या 15 % हो जाएगा, और before we go into the reasons, मैं आपको बताना चाहूंगा, global trends क्या है, क्योंकि अगर हम US और China पहले study करेंगे, वो ही trends इंडिया में 5 साल में आएंगे, तो US का एक research है, which was a very interesting research, तो 2019 In the 19th century, Morgan Stanley had done it. And they said that 45 % of women will not be married by 2030.

3:5145 % of women will not be married by 2030. Almost half. Half. Half. And if the girls don't marry, then the girls don't marry. Obviously. So what are the reasons of that will come to it in some time. That is one statistic. In 2019, this study was done. More interesting is to see what's happening in China. It is fascinating. because Indian culture, Chinese culture is a little overlap. Exactly. And there are families. Family, traditional values. Family, traditional values. Asian, high context culture. What is happening in China? What is fascinating in China? One, what is happening is marriage market is crashing.

4:24So, this year, Economist had an article that number of marriages are lowest than 1980. 1980. In the past, 46 years, there have been so little婚. Number one data point. Number two data point, which is scary. Maximum divorces are happening. 2.8 million divorces are happening in China which is the highest in like 5-10 years. Every year? This year. This year. This year. Latest year. 2.8 million and it is the highest and China is so interesting because government does not want marriage to collapse. So what is the government doing here? One is the government gives a cooling of period. 12-18 months before marriage, it doesn't mean divorce allow even.

5:07So government at every point is pushing that you stay in marriage because their birth system is crashing, the population is crashing. Number two, it doesn't allow alimony. Everyone thinks that alimony is a lot of divorce. In 2011, China had a rule that whatever you are putting in marriage, you can remove the same ratio. So alimony has changed the concept of alimony. Despite this, government is pushing every point and And in the government media, they also say, what is an ideal family? That male, female, children. They are building a narrative. And in China, the whole media is in control. Despite this, divorces are super high.

5:44Lowest number of marriages are happening. This is in the US. This is in China. Now comes the reason. The most important reason is 70 % divorce are being initiated by women. So, women are deciding if they want to marry or not. woman is deciding divorce and it is fascinating their mindset US and China and this trend is showing you in urban India which I am going to say that women are driving this conversation in terms of why this is happening so if you ask exactly if you ask I'll give you five words it's a lot of depth we'll go one by one one is independence patriarchy AI social media and the fifth one is delusion these are the five words that are determining why women don't want to marry today so you're saying that globally the trend is that the marriage market is crashing divorce is increasing people don't do marriage research is that almost women don't do marriage this is global this is America and China and this reason we will come to the this 5 words do you think that this will be India because India world's most obsessed country why how will the collapse collapse maybe this will be another place India will not if you will see this trend I will research I'm going to tell you about this research.

7:26But if you look in urban India, there are many women, 30 plus, competent, good looking, good personality, who are single. Not because of compulsion, but because of choice. So, this trend is now on a small scale. There are not percentages in that percentage, but this trend is showing. I have to give you a survey which I found very interesting. In 2023, YouGov has done a survey about urban Indians. And 40 % of them have said that marriage is not at all important for us. 40 % of urban Indians. This is India's research. Women, men, both. Both. Marriage is not important. And this culture like India is very crazy.

8:04Because as you introduced it, when a girl is born, it starts to say that you will get married one day. and then suddenly people are saying we don't want to marry and this is a 2023 survey that is happening why is this happening there is another survey by India Lens and Better Health 67 % 2 out of 3 urban youth has said that our life is the number 1 priority financial stability and then marriage will be seen and it is a very underlying driver we will get into this but essentially it is an Indian trend which is also coming to India. And if you will see it later, there are so many people who are single, 30 +, 35 +, and very good in the marriage market.

8:49Which is our traditional definition. They are not getting married. Either some by choice, some by other things we will see. And this will be you later. I feel attacked. I'm not 30 yet.

9:03I don't want to marry at this point. Yes. And I don't even know why. but you know in fact if you look at one of the reasons which I feel is what I'm seeing in my friends and many people who I know is that parental pressure what is the plan of marriage this is one of the top three reasons for anxiety and stress because so many people I know they are like okay whatever but 95 % of the people majority of the people they are like I don't want to go I don't want to deal with this pressure because probably I don't want to do it and after a time people will be angry that I don't want to do it definitely that's the driver one is very interesting someone has made a business you know this is called rent a boyfriend in India this is a business rent a boyfriend this is actually a big business in Japan but for such situations because Japanese culture is also family oriented so all the women who go to these functions like you described They rent a guy, good looking guy, for one day.

10:34He will pretend to be your boyfriend so that someone, like you said, doesn't irritate in the function. Two startups have started in this space. In Bombay and Bangalore. Really? Rent a boyfriend. Now, in India, you can't rent a girlfriend because there are safety issues. You can't do that. But rent a boyfriend model will start exactly for the use case you have just defined. Is it working? We will see. When it becomes a unicorn, it will get to know. This is exactly what you just described. Someone has done a business. and this will be a lot of demand because what happens is also it's a slightly controversial point that as Indian society nobody likes a successful woman this is a fact say it again why nobody likes a successful woman in India if we will see a lady self-made I mean, I'm being a chartered accountant, no family money, good job, 20, 30, 40, maybe his house has also been, nobody likes her.

11:39And I'll tell you why. One is, if you see a man of her age, potential husband, he seems to be very independent.

11:52I don't need this, I won't control it. I can't do it. I'm going to tell you anecdotally, but all of this is backed by numbers. Number one. Number two. The previous generation, that woman thinks, in a way, why should she lead such a good life? I have sacrificed so much. I have not had such a good life. She is living life on her own terms. So nobody likes that. So people always say, this is the problem. This is the problem. She will have a boyfriend of her. She will drink. drink. It's just that she will have a drink socially. So, no, in Indian society, we don't like a successful woman. Because everyone thinks that either I don't control it or that I can't do it.

12:33So, why will she do it? So, this is a fundamental problem that exists in terms of that. So, sometimes you will see the boy's mother may not want this kind of a woman. And not out of ill will, she will feel like this is going to be very fast. will they not produce children or will we dominate all of them we don't need this because men and women this is a very nuanced topic men and women look for different things in a marriage and we have to understand what are the drivers of each other to understand this in terms of that is it true anecdotally 100 % because I am not old enough to see it in my life it's data I will read it out to you there is a data is one thing I'm calling it research studies I have seen it have you seen it or experienced it maybe in and around you my batchmates from IIM my batchmates from IIM some of our the women I'm talking about very well qualified self-made I am Bangalore some of them come from very poor backgrounds tier 2 villages they didn't speak English overcame all those fear came to an IIM dominated the IIM earning money Bombay somewhere flat nobody wants to marry her nobody wants to marry her because she can live in her life and her conditions and she can live in her life and she can live in her life and she can live in her life and she can live in her life so for example if she is 45 ,000 ,000 so there is some things which are also important when we look at dating so women typically date same or higher this is her subconscious mind so if she is 45 ,000 ,000 so if she is 45 ,000 ,000 she will date 45 and above so if she is Think about the 60-70 million people.

14:21That person does not want to date her. So, I think I am educated, I am smart, I am in shape, I have a house, I am established, I make good conversation. And she is looking at the 70 million people, I am good. I think that I don't have any value for your 45 million people. I am a simple family oriented, you work, but I don't need so much independent girl. I am a normal educated, but largely who will be in this just because you're doing well doesn't mean the man wants to marry you and this is why a lot of high performing women are not able to get the people in terms of that and this is anecdotally true we're seeing it everywhere we're seeing it everywhere and you've seen this about men this is society okay

15:15one thing I can understand that maybe mother-in-law, father-in-law, family because their traditional conservative value is that we don't need to work more or dominate more. That can be a thinking. The modern educated man is his thinking. Exactly. So let's start with let's start with basics. What does a man want? What does a woman want? Let's start with basic level. If you remember last time we spoke about subconscious brain. about it last time. The subconscious brain is our whole body. And this is a well-proven research that what does a man want and what does a woman want. This is the evolution of evolution.

15:55And this is the new change. Men want beauty. Women want resources. What does this mean? A man says, I need a beautiful lady. That is the first criteria. The other one is different. And beautiful doesn't mean that Miss Universe should be above average. Because a man is always thinking I need a family in the future. beauty is a symbol of fertility so I have to do family that is what a man wants what does a woman want a woman wants resources resources means fame or influence because in their mind evolution has designed us stability stability comes with money so man wants beauty woman wants money man doesn't want money that is not the number one driver so when a man is marrying when I gave an example that for example I have a man who is 45 million has become a man in his mind just as he is his dating pool is so low because he doesn't do it below 45 million he will go up he will see 70 million he will say I am perfect for you but he will say I am not a problem because I wanted beauty I wanted someone who can manage the home I don't want too much independence I don't want no over argumentative I don't want I don't want man also wants peace.

17:15You work, you educate, but now give me peace. So this woman, that is why they are single. The man can marry anyone. If you have MS you can marry on that level you can marry on that level. But the woman cannot marry anyone because their wiring is done that way. They only have to marry higher, but the higher person doesn't want to marry them. That is why a lot of them are not. You mean lower marry I don't marry It's subconscious brain I had an interesting experiment and I am Bangalore is a very progressive crowd which was in the MBA batch I had asked them a question who will you marry two people in the world these two men are remaining and you have to marry you have to pick I gave option one this is the cashier when you get 12-15 thousand but But literally Bhagwan Ka heart He is God Literally What you need You will listen to You will talk Counseling Will always be available 12-15 Literally Bhagwan That the big man Bhagwan Can not be able to Number one Number two option Unicorn founder In the view He is average He is a bad He is a bad He is a bad He will speak publicly A little bit Up or down He will say He will not give He will give He will do He will do little ridicule but 100 crore which one will you choose and you have to choose these are the only two options when I did this experiment over 80 % people said we need unicorn founder and this is and this is no surprising statistic because he is talking about subconscious brain this is well researched no but behavior see if upfront you tell people that cashier versus unicorn founder people choose but if you explain behavior traits after that I describe it.

19:12I literally took a God's name and said this guy is a personification of that God. And he's a personification. He's not good at seeing. He's got his hair. He's got his hair. He's got his hair. He's not physically attractive. 80 % said. We should have that. Because the subconscious brain is taking your decision that we need resources. And I am who can gain independent women. Independent, most progressive women. This is the call they are taking. And this is no wrong thing. I said, this is not true. The brain has made us this. The brain has made us this. Same logic. I have in the same classroom, to the men I asked them, I gave them two options.

19:48And I said, you should marry. You should marry. And you should marry. Options are, number one, you work in McDonald's, you earn 15 ,000 rupees, very cute, very cute, and very well behaved with you. Number one. Number two, I am a girl of Bangalore. ki ladki hai, aap agar 40 laag kama rai, woh 55 laag kamaati hai very strong headed opinionated, average looking who will you choose 80 % when decide so, aur ye again driven by subconscious brain, is mein koji sahih galat nai hai, men prefer beauty and peace women prefer resources aur ye hazaaro saal se chal raha hai, aur ye hazaaro saal tak chalega, ye this is how our subconscious brain has wired us and this is one of the reasons why a lot of independent women are not able to marry because they cannot date lower they have to date higher but the higher person doesn't want to date he doesn't want to date he can marry he is not prioritizing her education and money he is prioritizing something else you know Kangana said this on the podcast and I disagreed there but after that I meet with many people and I am talking about women every women have met and spoken after that top of the top multi-billionaire high risk to an independent actress in Bollywood celebrity glamorous to normal working women to somebody in office to just like her pool like top of the world to just struggling in starting career the thing is Kangana said that in the relationship if a girl is powerful dominant and is not more than that was friction to come because it's like the girl doesn't know the courage and the girl doesn't know the courage she doesn't know the courage the girl doesn't know the courage because the primary is that I want power and alphaness and the girl doesn't know the courage because the guy is not making enough money and it's not powerful or resourceful enough and the relationship doesn't know the truth and I said and she said that the guy won't even like it because he won't be uncomfortable and won't be even happy that my person will get more.

22:10It's a prime of nature. And I argued that I would be very happy if my partner is making more than me. And she just ridiculed me and was like when I talk about it. You know, something like that. And I said, no, I'll be very happy. So I made this sort of experiment almost almost every friend It's a very good thing. Social gathering friends, my sisters, everybody I've asked them this. They've all agreed with Kagna. 100 % That is the first line which I said. Society does not want a strong, independent woman. And this is why the marriage is struggling. And what you've said, date down or marry down.

22:50All women in my life, they've always said that they want to marry up. And there's no wrong thing. Because this has become evolution. This is why so many women, US में अब देखेंगे, China में देखेंगे China में तो एक और trend है कि these independent women are coming together and said बहुत सारे reason हमें तो शादी करनी नहीं है तो चार लड़कियां कह रही है let's come together, हमें चोटा सा बंगलो खरीतते हैं, चार लड़किया हम ही रहेंगे we will be each other's emotional support we will live, we will have good life, we will cut good life, let's get men out of our lives. It's a very big trend in urban China. So you're saying one reason is you said that why the marriage is falling and why they will fall and in 2040-50s will be finished because there are 5 reasons.

23:38Number one reason is that women are independent so as women they are more powerful and more resourceful Hote جا رہی ہیں Woh Jaysayasay Or Wohota جائے گا Waysay waysay Shadiyan Tootte جائے گی Correct Because what will happen is Agar Pahle Ek Lada Ki Souchtی تھی Shadiy کیوں Karanin hai Financially Hama acche nai hai Toh wo stability Dega Ab Lada Ki Souch raha Ki Main toh Khudhi Etna Kamaa Rheon Main Padhi Likhi Houn What are you Bringing To the table What are you Bringing To the table Pahise Mere Paas be him. Fitness mere pas bhi looks mere pas bhi education mere pas bhi tum la ke a rye o tibil pe this is why so this is why a lot of women are thinking marriage is not worth it why this is how a woman is thinking number one ki aap jitna bhi keh lyejee ek lardki ki zindegi baut muskil hai ek to hai what we call patriarchy ab ek lardki office ja rye office me inequality to hai india chhoď dijee me US ke number بتata ha US

24:50So, a woman is fighting in her job. And she's getting discrimination. When she's coming home, the expectation is that you will maintain your home. You don't work yourself. But you will maintain your home. So now the woman is thinking, I'll do the whole day work for office, and the other thing is, when the point of sacrifice comes, the woman will be expected to sacrifice. I'll give you an example. I did a poll in Bangalore, where I study. I took a couple, man-woman. Again, remember, very progressive woman. Most progressive in India. I told her that the girl is in Bombay, and the girl is in Delhi.

25:42You can't change jobs. You can't change jobs. How will you? So you can't say I'll go to Delhi. It's not possible. One of you has to leave. It's the situation. Who will make the sacrifice? The guy said she'll come to Delhi. One second. One second. Obviously she'll come to Delhi. One second. Someone didn't ask her, you'll do six months, I'll do six months, I'm independent. One second. this is the most progressive audience in India now think from a woman's perspective office may issue hai ghar chalana pade raha hai kabhi bhi sacrifice ki baat hai toh usko up karna pade ga and at every point all other women are judging her all other women in her family, in the boys family so they are saying yaar ye itna paisa kharch karti hai bags pe, kabhi kabhi sharaab piti hai abhi tak bachche ne pida kar pai toh har level pe uska judgment ho raha hai And now the woman is thinking, what is this institution?

26:39What do I get this institution? I don't get anything. So then many women say, not worth it. Why go through all this hassle? So that is the first reason. Financial independence is making them a question. Second is patriarchy. They are saying it is not worth the hassle in terms of marriage. Okay. Third reason. You said five reasons. Yes. The third what is happening is expectations unrealistic. Expectations low, unrealistic. I had a New York Times article in a New Yorker that you have seen a term which is called bare minimum. You have heard that women say it is bare minimum. That has become irrational.

27:18So unrealistic expectation. So, a girl who has 3 ,000 ,000 ,000, I feel I deserve one crore. I deserve one crore. One crore deserves one crore. One crore deserves one crore. And her height is 5-10. She needs to be a big hair. and I deserve this. This is bare minimum. This is bare minimum. And a lot of women across the world are forgetting that if you are a 5 on 10, you will attract a 5 on 10. If you are a 5 on 10, you cannot get the top 0.1%. So a lot of people are living in complete delusion regarding this. So for example, I will say an example in my circle. And it will be extreme. But it is, so this is a girl, she was 27.

28:05She is an IT engineer She is working in a bank in Pune So in 27 They started looking for a boy She was earning 10-12 lakhs So her first requirement was That she needs a green card girl This is bare minimum How can I marry without a girl Without a girl without a girl The important thing is Her mother agreed Her father agreed All in delusion All in delusion I will lower my standard. Then she said, I will either top IIT or top IM to get married. So, my bare minimum is 2 years ago. Now, top IM Ahmedabad's girl, you don't see it. You don't see it. So, 2 years ago, you don't see it. So, you don't see it.

29:01You don't see it. So in 31, finally, she said that Pune's any girl who is an engineer but I'm ready for 50 ,000 ,000 ,000 I'm ready for doing it Now that 50 ,000 ,000 ,000 are not doing you value 2-3 years ago She's 34 and she's come down to the conclusion Men are pigs, where are all the good men This is not an individual assessment This is happening in a lot of places People don't have a reality idea One of the things what happens Because of what I just said in the marriage market a man's prospect is clearly defined by education and salary this is very clear you are so much you have to earn value here from education from IIT from study you have to earn value so much you are so much you are in IIT Bombay Google you are top of the pack this is a man it is very simple assessment so everyone knows that it is a man women Women come to a lot of things.

30:00So, women come to a lot of things. Beauty, the way she talks, the way she moves, etc. So, sometimes... Peace, patriarchy, salary, etc. Sometimes a woman only doesn't know I'm one on ten, five on ten, or nine on ten. And everyone is saying, no, no, this is bare minimum. You have 3 ,000 ,000, but if you do one, you have bare minimum. How can you do that without one crore? So, a man is given reality. You are not of IIT. You are of tier 2 college. You will get tier 2. you will get the IIT bomb. You will get 10 lakhs. You will get 10 lakhs. That's your job. And this is very clearly said to men. Everyone knows.

30:34Everyone knows. And this is very... With women, they live in this total delusion, which is what is called... New Yorker had a article that all women are looking for the top 0.1%. They are living in mass delusion. And they think that we are deserving. But no one is asking this question. Why does the top 0.1 % look at me? And as a result, then they come to the conclusion when time has gone by that men are stupid and men are not available. So that is one of the big reasons in terms of delusion that is happening. And there is no wrong thing I will tell you. His parents are also selling it. Society is also selling it.

31:11Yes, you 3 ,000 ,000 ,000 and 1 ,000 ,000 ,000 that is so much and on Instagram another one. Next point, social media. Next point, social media. I don't know if you will see these reels where someone goes and asks a girl that your boyfriend should have to earn and he says some ridiculous number 50 crore, 100 crore and he asks him how much you earn and he says 20 ,000 I don't know if you've seen these reels and these are not rage bait it's actual reality everyone seems to think he's rage bait but it's actual reality so social media has aggravated what is expectation right now someone says someone has given his state election and that is the bare minimum.

31:55I mean, this is so stupid. It's a joke. But social media really pushes this narrative in terms of building this mass delusion. Social media is doing a lot of things. Like what? There is this theory which is called the horseshoe magnet theory. Basically, what is the horseshoe magnet? There is a sort of magnet. There is a magnet. So, what social media does is, the extreme male is, which we call manosphere, and the extreme female is, which we call toxic feminism, they are all like each other. But everyone seems that that is the reality. This is probably 1 % here and 1 % of the population here. But everyone seems that this is the reality.

32:35Because their content is much more. Because extreme content travels. So most people forget the silent majority of the beach, 80-85%, everyone seems that it doesn't exist. So for example, if you will see what extreme side is covered, when you see from a woman's perspective, what is covered? all men are rapists all men are there to cheat you the man's mother will treat you badly the whole society is patriarchy you will not give up and this is your bare minimum and this is common if you are not happy one day leave the marriage and this is a 1 % extreme reaction but we make it common and make it bare minimum now there is similar view on the male side also which we will come a little while social media also aggravates this entire thing that reality is what is the whole situation.

33:23True. And you know, have you noticed a thing about the new generation, our generation, that relationship has started or you have just gone on a date, because there's so much content that you have around, so many things, so many scenarios that you have played, you already plan on your mind the end of your mind. Correct. You're already thinking thinking that this will go and then it will be bored a little bit. Or this will go and it will cheat me. This will go and then it will start to get a real color. Then it will be controlling. All men are pigs. So, this will happen. Maybe this person is very good for you.

34:03Yeah. But in your mind, already you are like, then you have to break up in three months. Two months later, you will have to get me. One day later, it's all about just one night. So, anticipatory grief. like before even you have played out anything or everything now you have played in your mind because you have consumed all of the content where everything is bad you have made it you have actually made yourself believe that this will be done and there is no end so you need to make a good person with a good relationship you don't even try to do it because you are already rehearsing heartbreak exactly, very well said and I want to add two angles add-on that if you have seen this narrative is a lot of people.

34:45Do women need men? And everyone says no, no, no, no, no. If you see this full day, we don't need men, we don't need men, then in your mind only you are psyching out that we don't need. And all the reasons that you said women do not need men. The second thing is if you see dating culture today, it's a bit performance oriented. What you just touched upon. So everyone comes to which car I came, where I took it, what I wore clothes. and there is something also called the IK factor, you may have heard ICK so yeah, it has left hand or right hand no, this person doesn't fit me so this is the whole and ideally, what is a good date ideal date which was in our generation that you sit on Nariman Point at the last half hour, drink tea if a man and woman are comfortable that will be the wedding that is the dream date we all grew up drink tea, speak for 2 hours and go back that is the wedding but this is not a woman problem I will say that men have a lot of issues but this is the same anticipatory grief which we talk about men's problem because other side content that men have consumed so much they think that all women are gold diggers they are all behind me they control me they will manipulate me they will be my mother-in-law then we all have seen our mother-in-law relationship work not to do because they have so many problems.

36:12Probably these problems were before they were but now we learned 4-5-9 words. This is what mother and papa do with it. This is what father and mother do with it. That's why in our head all marriages fail. All girls are gold diggers. All girls are bad. All will see their own way. And after that, all will be bored. All will not be scared. So we never try to do genuinely, fully present in a relationship, in a date, in that time. Correct. We are anticipating that it's not going to cut. And we are actually thinking why should I reject this person? Full time. We are not thinking why should I accept this person.

36:55We are thinking why should I accept this person? Why should I not do it? Why should I not do it? Because that is what it is. Like you said on the male side, we also feed it. You have seen that a very trending reel. Where a man or woman is approaching. She doesn't say. Then he will see the man and he will have a Porsche So the girl will come to the chase So all women are gold diggers, this is very viral Do you feel Friends also has a problem? Because I'll tell you okay and I've noticed this And this is funny My friends will kill me for this But Whenever someone Men or women They start dating someone in a group first debate brainstorming session analysis session only on that what was wrong you are forced to think what was wrong what problems are going on what was wrong first time you know what I'm dating this person this is not this is not this is not full time friends you are trying to give a kiss and you are You do this when friends come.

38:06So you are training your brain that I will only see the wrong. Correct. Correct. Absolutely. I will listen to you again. What has happened is we have made a marriage on Amazon. I need this 15 filters and then I will check out. Now there is no one who can match your 15 filters. If someone can match it, why will it be with you? No question. Friends have a huge problem. Not just before marriage. I will give you an example in my circle and many people think that you should be very intelligent from IIT IM so many people are very lazy when it comes to marriage this is a story from my side it will kill me for it but people need to hear this this is a story about 4 IM women who graduated from IM somewhere in Bombay Singapore, Hong Kong and they married 4 IM girls and this is their story if you look on social media life is perfect vacations पे जा रहे है perfect मतलब 4 happy couple सबको लगेगा इससे बड़िया शादी तो होई नहीं सकती यह है underlying story so in Singapore एक लड़की अभी 2BHK flat में रुकी हुई है वो 3BHK flat लेती है और कहती है अपने बाकी दोस्तों को कि I want to be a good mother and my child has space.

39:25I don't want to be a bad mother. Now, the Bombay, which is a good flat, his mind is bad. He told me that if I am in 2BHK, I am a bad mother. It's a flat. Bombay, it's a flat. Now, they think, how are we in 2BHK? So, husband, wife, take a 5 crore loan, sell their current flat, go buy a 3BHK somewhere else. Now, 5 crore loan is taken. for the night, he's not asleep, job market uncertain. Number one, pressure comes. Number two, there's no other who's a husband who's very athletic. He's in shape, he's running marathon, he's on his head. The other husbands who don't have his head, he's touching 40 plus, he's on his head.

40:09So, he's writing in his group that I am very lucky my husband takes effort because he loves me, so he's taking effort to maintain himself. Now, the rest of the three are laughing on his husband. So, as I said, the dating pool is less than that. It's not much less than that. But the other three people say, Queen, you deserve better.

41:02Queen, what you said, four mistakes. Queen, there are not four things. So, they leave it. Then, three-four months later, it feels like my life is good. So, it's got a lot of money. It's single. So, she goes, she goes, she goes, she goes, she goes, she goes, and business class or first class can't go there. Then the rest of the three think why not we are buying 5 ,000 ,000 back? Why not we are traveling first class? So, all these couples have so much pressure. And all are studied from IIT and IIM are studied. So, this is that the half tension is because of friends and the other people are without a doubt.

41:39Everyone thinks that they have studied from big institutes and they don't have to think about the mind. People are without a doubt and the half pressure comes from friends. So, this is people are just mad. in terms of that. And you're laughing but this is true. I have not added 1 % masala to this story. You're laughing as we are speaking this. But that is definite. Which is also important that you surround yourself with the right kind of friends. Have you noticed that some people when they go on a date? Actually, have you heard of audition effect? Explain it. Okay, so there's a thing called audition effect.

42:12Okay, which means that when you go on a date, middle of date, everything is good. everything is going great it's good and you feel nothing like not very happy or not very sad it's just like

42:31it's just that because in your brain you don't know if you're right or wrong because your brain has already started preparing for the next audition because you think I will go home or I will go home I will see an app on that app, whatever, XYZ dating app, I will swipe next, next, next, next. Someone is good. So now your brain is preparing that the next person is better. So you only go there and perform for a few times. And you think that you don't see that it is compatible with me. Do I love this person or no? Whether this date is going great or no? You are just thinking that the next 27th swipe, will be better than that.

43:18That 27th swipe has not come in your life. But because you have an illusion that there are 5000 options, I don't want to land with on an average with a big option. Because you know what, king you deserve better, queen you deserve better. So, when there are so many roles in your, at least you think there are so many roles in your, so many people in your face, you don't choose and you're nothing. Exactly. You don't have to reject do not accept you, you do not accept you, you are just like so you have to go through it. Exactly. And these dating platforms that you have described there are so many options on the table.

43:54And social media is saying that top 1 % is normal. So people will behave exactly like that that maybe the next one is very good. The next one is very good. And people don't settle and then they become bitter in life. Yeah, because every time you have in any social media platform something that is very good, physically attractive or someone who is a good bio which is written some credentials it is seen either man or woman and you feel like if there is then why not I will get it it's not you don't know whether he will choose or not but just because the fact if someone else is available you think he is available so maybe I can get it so you know the best option you also ignore exactly and you know when I was thinking about this topic I researched What defines a good marriage?

44:45Basic to start. What should happen to a good marriage? Harvard has done a long research. It is so simple. We don't do it with common sense. Harvard has said, and he has seen this research for 20-30 years. Couples have seen. Two things you need for a good marriage. Friendship, respect. Nothing else matters. Just friendship. You told me last time also. Her shadi ka neev, joh foundation hota hai, deep friendship hota hai. And that is why they also say you should marry your best friend. Woh shadi tikei ge. Aap jhagda karo ge, aap jo karo ge. Jo, jis ke saath, even if you are not romantically attracted to, agar aap aap ne best friend se shadi karengi, man or woman, woh shadi tikei ge.

45:28Sounds very weird. It sounds very weird, but tikei ge. Sounds weird. Because friendship is the, kyunki honestly, agar aap dekhenge, joh hum love ko bhi bolte hain, it's largely a chemical reaction. 6 months, 9 months, it comes down to friendship and respect. So, core love, which is physical attraction, is not much longer in years. So, the only thing that survives is friendship and respect. People are always thinking, what can I get better materialistic, better good looking? People should think, what Google test is, can I talk to you 12 hours about 12 hours? Without an agenda.

46:16If you can do that, this person should, you should consider moving forward. What was the fifth reason for marriage breaking? We covered women, independent and power. We saw delusion, social media. Now, no discussion is not going to be without AI.

46:36AI is so interesting You remember last time I talked about Replica In two podcasts Two podcasts I told you What AI has done is Absolutely amazing Now When I told you Replica was coming up Now it's scale up Replica heartbreak A term has become Replica heartbreak Now What women In China Are doing They are basically saying We prefer AI boyfriend Over a human boyfriend to AI boyfriend or AI girlfriend bhot bada market bhan gaya why the woman is saying I want someone jho emotionally available hai end of the day merah din achha gaya hai ne gaya hai meri se customized baat kare sune firstly men don't listen that well sune customized baat kare judgment na de the AI boyfriend does this brilliantly to China mein there is a very interesting statistic which I got and I thought you should know about this China mein there is a statistic there is an app called Mao Zheong which means cat box AI boyfriend cat box Mao Zheong is the Chinese name at least 2 million subscriber and it is growing because in urban China Beijing, Shanghai women are saying we don't need people our AI boyfriend is very good because we are getting emotional support I can choose its physical looks I need blue eyes green eyes I need more hair and it gives me complete emotional support so AI is disrupting this space very very bad AI is going to do a lot of things that I'm going to say to you.

48:07If you see male side, AI girlfriend has become a huge market because men are lonely. Men are lonely and it is more difficult for a man to get a girlfriend than for a girl to get a boyfriend because men get a lot of rejection. So men are looking at AI girlfriend for conversation, for intimate requirement. everything he talks about. So AI girlfriend which market is, only AI girlfriend 2030 to 2030 is going to become$10 billion market. AI girlfriend. Just AI girlfriend's market. Not even boyfriend your idea. Just AI girlfriend. It's going to become so big. SNS Insider's research is AI girlfriend's going to become so big.

48:48So this is one part of AI. Second part of AI is where it gets concerning. So if you think why people do marriage? Three reasons. Companionship, intimacy, children. Three reasons, generally. Companionship, you're doing AI. Now, what about physical touch? Physical intimacy, there are many futurologists who are saying the next wave of humanoid robots are at 2027 debut. They're debuting across the world. Their ability to physically satisfy you will be much better than the human being. In 10 years, there's a futurologist called Dr. Ian Pearson. He said that in 2036 or 2040, the ability of the robot that you physically satisfy, will not match the human.

49:43So, AI is giving you emotional support. AI is giving you physical support. Now, we come to the third point. Children. There are fertility rates across the globe. But, there are children who have to do it. now something is very common in the US you don't even need a good man you have a sperm bank you will get a good quality sperm take the sperm have the child it's as simple as that so what does the person need so now AI is replacing the first two sperm bank is replacing the first three women are asking what does the person need the man is also asking the same question what does the person need AI is so good why do I need the toxicity why do I need the ghosting why do I need the aloofness why do I need the aloofness why do I need all this see I read about this and I have questions on this Emily is a sex robot life size sex robot I think it's valued at $465 million about to be valued at$1.5 billion so demand is a lot valuation is a lot crazy people are making money on it this market is going big life size robot which is available for you for having sex that's typical statement which he provided but isn't there something about physical touch, intimacy with another human being let me answer this and it's just not see and you know, there are so many emotional things that you feel good with that touch with that person it's not if you see in humans, if it's just about intimacy, hugs and sex you don't think the same thing you want that one person only, you crave that because you have 15 chemical reactions which you actually build it with so how will this happen with robot?

51:35so let's explain, very good question let's explain that if you talk about emotional support there is a paper that came out by Stanford which is now saying AI can provide better emotional support so what did they do in the experiment? so some people were unhappy, on one side on AI and on one side on human being and they asked at the end where are you getting more support from the end AI was winning now what does it mean emotionally I am releasing the right set of chemicals so I am supporting whether it's serotonin oxytocin this is all releasing in my mind so going forward and this is AI is going to be more powerful so now assume a life sized man or a life sized woman who is LLM fit he is giving you emotional support they are giving.

52:23They also know where to touch to get the chemical release. Touch means what? It's a chemical release. This is it. So, they have science. They will touch it at the right point that it's a right chemical. They will tell you the right thing that it's a right chemical release. Who do you think you will bond with better after some time? This person doesn't fight, doesn't do a ghost, is always available. You can do a program. Any way you want it to look, it will look. Who do you think you will support after one or two weeks? Now, if you look at another piece of research that has come out by Harvard, we are talking about AI engines chat GPT number one use case across the world is companionship number one use case is companionship so people are saying I trust the AI to do better companionship than my human being now this companionship on a good looking man or a woman with physical touch people will ask why do we have to do all the things this is not a charge it doesn't need to charge it will be ready I don't have anything.

53:21I don't have to eat or do anything. So why not stay with this person? So what will happen is, I am showing a doomsday scenario. Most people will have two spouses. Most people will have two spouses. One spouse will be the AI. One spouse will be the human. This will be mostly. So for example, one of the reasons why divorce is happening is because man and woman both are stressed. They go back home, don't have time to go. to talk, busy is in your life, social media is doing quality time, so cheating is starting. Now the robot will fit in that space. Robot is always available. You don't have to talk, he will talk.

53:58In what language he will talk. You will give a massage. You will say yes, yes. You say no, he will challenge me. He will do whatever he will do. It will hug you, it will kiss you, it will sleep with you, everything. So that will be the first spouse and then there will be a human spouse you may need. No, one human spouse. maybe not maybe not so until 2014 the prophecy which I am saying many futureologists are saying that it is going to happen and then people will say what is the need of it no alimony issues no dowry issues this is all not any issues so AI boyfriend practically now he is listening to you not judging you not giving you better support not giving you you can give it a look also you need look and feel چاہیے تمہیں better سمجھتے ہیں ہر چیز like وہ emotionally بہت اچھے ہیں physically بھی اب وہ tune ہو کے better ہو جائیں گے so that's why women will prefer AI boyfriends okay that's what you think اب اس میں men کی گلتی ہے کہ women کی or is it the fault of AI یہ actually argument دیکھے دونوں sides سے ہیں see اگر آپ if you generally talk to women and if you ask them آپ کا once you are married what is your number one criticism of your husband they will say emotional availability this is number one the other thing finance emotional availability because what happens is men also we are not trained to touch that difficult topic we are also not trained to listen we are not trained to listen you should do three things we are fixers now the thing is because this gap is there and this gap will grow so the woman will prefer the robot which is happening in China right now because the man is lonely he will also prefer that the drivers are different this is emotional unavailability versus loneliness so this man or woman has done our own because we are lonely we are not able to understand the other person that's why we are not able to have easy convenient machine we are not able to get into friendship we are not able to listen we are not able to talk and we don't understand and we don't understand and social media saying that you are a slave you have married and social media is feeding behind the narrative if you are a divorcee life will be amazing man and woman so this is perennially dopamine release in your brain social media means dopamine release so the perennially dopamine release is getting your whole mental in terms of that that is what that is how AI is disrupting So what happens if marriage breaks?

56:45This institution breaks. I was reading South Korea. 0.8 fertility. Fertility rate 0.72. Yeah, absolutely. So lowest in the world. They need 10 million new marriages and children to maintain trust what they are and where they are today. Right? And they haven't reversed any country from any country. fertility rate which is in a world in South Korea Japan in the same thing you are seeing China you are saying this across the world India people are expecting that in the next decade India fertility rate which is already happening Kerala is a prime example so when you don't have a marriage what breaks first It's a very difficult question You said that there is a problem in Singapore I think there is a problem in Singapore One thing happens is Your next generation of workers Is missing So if you have to run a country Why is China panicking so much Why is China panicking so much Because one child policy reversed Because if you have to run a economy You need workers at every level If you have to run a next generation of workers Then it will be fixed That is number one number two because people are getting senior that is a healthcare cost typically state bear how do you bear that cost how do you bear that cost typically taxes will come here here will grow growth will grow industry will grow so this money will subsidize if you have a aging population how do you grow then you will have to go outside people will come outside if you don't go outside then how do you grow economy will come out So that is the problem And state burden built Because of medical sciences A lot of people are living to 80 80 is often common So that means 60 to 80 Health care costs A lot of state If people don't come to the entry level Growth don't go to the tax Who will bear it?

58:58That is one Number two I'm talking about financial impact A deeper societal impact Is loneliness For example if you are 55 or 60 you are probably going to go you are all alone you have retired no spouse what will you do how much AI will entertain you then there is a mass loneliness we are going to see over 20 years at 55 I will give you an example of I did a cohort of senior women leaders very successful in India all CXOs and one of them had told me that I chose, I had a conscious decision that I don't want to marry and I don't want to have children. She was herself, a 49-year-old very senior professional and I asked her over dinner, do you have regrets?

59:48She's like, I do I do because today I have that stature, I'm coming to the media I have so much money but I can't talk to anyone and I asked her why because when I go to my family, what's their level of conversation what is the conversation? The son broke the bat or the son killed someone and this is the conversation I cannot contribute to it and when people go to vacation they go to the same people they go to a child or a child married couple so if I am fit in or you I am probably too old to marry what do I have today? I have status but is that enough? This is an interesting question. This will be a very interesting question.

1:00:34Once you are 55, you have money. What will you do? Who will you spend? You're all alone. 25 years ahead. All alone. No parents, no siblings. What will you do? Most people will not have siblings because most families have one child. In India also. What will you do in 25 years? It's a scary thought. Finance is a very far thing. In 25 years, there is a mental health crisis that is going to come in the course of time. so one of the things you will see in US it was very interesting that when I was in Vegas I saw that there are many old waiters if you've been to Vegas people in their 60s, 70s there are waiters and I thought that they probably don't have a corpus of retirement so that they have to do this someone told me that it's not like that they will do what else in the house this is the way he gets to see people everyday and that is why he's doing the waiter's job it's not that he needs the money he's avoiding loneliness by coming here such a sad state of affairs and if this is common in every place it's going to be very difficult one of the things I will tell you what will happen is in 50s marriage may see a boom again so what may happen is when people think 54-55 many people will come to mind that all of you leave the parameters us, leave us.

1:01:55We just need a companion and friendship. You may see a marriage boom of people in their 50s. Then they will say, no, no, this institution is dumb. At least someone... People who go to 50 years, are going to marry. That's a big boom. Because at that stage of life, all the materialistic is released. You are tired from social media. Then you need a companion. Then you will probably get married. So today, the boom in the 20s, in the 50s, it's a prediction. Maybe it will happen. Because then people will say, we don't want to die lonely. this is happening in japan yeah because people are alone they don't want to marry there one in three deaths in urban japan is happening alone yeah yeah so when you get a death imagine one in three is like 33 % yeah from every ten people from every nine people from every nine people from every nine people that death is and when death is then nobody is there is no one so you don't even know there is no one because it will be a death in a certain apartment, in a certain city, in a certain place.

1:02:58Where do they have to take them, where do they have to take them, how do they have to take them, nobody knows this. And for days people don't know. And it's a big, big thing. It's very scary. It's very scary. Now imagine so many people, maybe they'll be just gone or their life can be safe. But because there wasn't any other way, they just died in pain, in agony, in loneliness. And nobody even got to know. It's very sad. We have a family friend in New York He's now 67-68 He's alone, not married US man So we asked him this question If something happened If you're down to the CD What's going on? I don't know what's going on There's a bell here If I press the bell, I'll call 911 And hopefully I'll see the people My only target is to hit the bell somehow now when you hear this it is and he's saying it in a matter of fact hopefully Bhagavan will see me there are some people we know some friends we have at this age I shouldn't say such things they have done their last rites exactly for what you described they are still alive they are still last rites because they have what you said after that what will happen nobody knows it's very sad and this is what is going to happen in the future it's scary so if marriages break first thing we'll see GDP break people have gone how will the economy go I don't know there's no specific country where the fertility rate is good almost all is declining Israel I think India is 2 2.1 is considered replacement so India is also less I think some of the African nations are good I think Nigeria is probably 3-3.

1:04:52Even Israel is good. Israel is good. Israel is also 3.5-4 times. Israel is the only modern economy country in the world which is also technology advanced rich men and women earn both money and people want to marry and have kids. Yeah. Very good. Remarkable. Remarkable. I was speaking to this person who he's world's best professor on demography. and their prediction is that a lot of people will see Israel becoming a lot more powerful than how Israel is today sure ability to attract more people correct because their economy will better because they are doing it so people need to go more there and they are advanced and they are open to foreigners coming in so their ecosystem is good it's a good prophecy just democracy It's a good prophecy.

1:05:50Because as long as the global economies are more wealthy and more advanced, their fertility will become. Correct. Absolutely. Israel is the only exception. Exception. So GDP will collapse. Loneliness. Huge epidemic. Huge epidemic. But some businesses may do well. There's no such a doomsday scenario. Like many people are alone. Some businesses will do. So pets will do very well. longer companions should be. Pets' business will be a good business. AI robots will be a good business. Number two. Three are very lonely people. At least we live in the community. So, what you see senior living centers, will be a very good going forward.

1:06:33These little businesses will be a very good business. But because your inflow of talent will be a big red flag. Podcasts also grow. Podcasts grow. You also grow. Because it seems that there's a third person sitting here. Yeah. So, when you see it's like, we're three and three people are talking about. So, that's gonna be there. It's a third person's POV. Correct. Our grandparent's generation was 6.1. Yeah. Which is wide. Practically 8 to 10 kids in one household. Correct. That's at that level. 8, yeah. Like 8 or 10 member household yeah okay so in their 6.1 was almost 6 kids which is insane today they are coming in a recession so the larger reason is not also that kids don't need kids one of the big reasons is sex recession is coming yeah gen z has lesser sex has lesser sex So I want to understand when did it happen That The generation in which hook up culture Is very acceptable Comparatively to any other generation I will ask my parents' generation I will ask my brother's generation So hook up culture is most acceptable In our generation and the next generation Which is coming In which generation hook up is a scene Dating is becoming normal Without marriage Sex is also not looked at as a big crime or a scene or anything living relationships are growing up this is all and yet Gen Z is having the least sex amongst all generations why?

1:08:31I think I will tell you a little hypothesis you are more Gen Z than I am and you should tell it's on the right track or not I think when a generation when they have to be really sexually active it is necessary to be a stable relationship as much as you are emotionally invested you will follow your sexual activity because of this generation the quality of relationship is bad so there is a limit to how many one night stands you will have because Gen Z a research a research Gen Z actually craves for traditional romance we think Gen Z we speak of Gen Z and we think situation shape nano shape one night stand actually not right globally gen z in every gen z in mind that whatever was in class 11 we both will be college sweethearts we will go we will get married this is a nostalgia for them it is an ideal romance this is not happening because of all the reasons that we said sexual activity is high when you have stable relationships when you are not stable relationships when you are alone when you are lonely hai tab sexual activity dhere dhere come hoti rathi number one number two shadiya come ho rehi hai toh as a result shadiya come ho rehi hai toh sex after marriage becomes quite normal wo bhi aapka come ho rehi hai so as a result ye come ho rehi hai if you come from a woman's perspective a woman will sleep with somebody she emotionally connects with a man will man behaves differently but a woman will sleep with somebody she connects with abhi because the connection hi itana come ho rehi hai who she decides to sleep with is also reducing.

1:10:10So simple things, the relationship quality is getting down that is having an effect on all of this other thing that we spoke about. Does it make sense? Yeah, it does. It does. And we all crave for traditional romance. Like that's, in fact, I think it's been more glamorized than ever. Maybe in my mom and dad's generation it was not so glamorized that traditional way of loving the way we are. Because we don't have much of that. We don't get to see much of that. Interesting. But isn't it contradictory that if you have a lot of options and now there are a lot of sex choices, options that you can have multiple partners do multiple times, shouldn't you be having more sex?

1:10:57Or shouldn't you be having more hookups? I'm not a sex expert. My limited perspective perspective naturally even if they have a lot of options they are very selective with who they sleep with so women go after quality men go after quantity now the thing is if that girl is thinking that there is 100 options but there is not one of them and if the woman decides that I will not listen likewise 100 women 10 ,000 women automatically the activity starts coming so So, if more women are in stable relationship, you will see the numbers will start going up. It comes down to that. Because honestly, when it comes to sex, the woman decides that it's not going to happen or not.

1:11:46Not the man. If the woman believes that it's not worth it or that it's not an emotional connection with me, it will be lower. And also marriages are going down. So, as a result, sex after marriage is also less. So, that may also reflect in that data point. And maybe it's combined with a lot of mental health crisis, porn crisis, your global geopolitical instability, so much stress, pressure, performative dating, all of that. All of that is adding up together. I thought that… Now imagine that AI robot will come next year. Now imagine that the whole industry is going to disrupt. Now imagine what it will do.

1:12:28True. you know about the ik so the ik factor and then you don't want to have that partner 74 % of Gen Z rationalize it by saying this is the most obvious thing to do this is the right thing to do they are actually giving a logic and they stand by it so the ik do you think self awareness is the ik high standard but actually it's just a fear of commitment it's getting disguised as high standard that I don't want to be with this person I think people don't know what they want I think people don't know what they want so I'll give you an example somebody I know said spoon should be in right hand fork should be in left hand he has turned so how do I do it it is as simple as that It happens.

1:13:29If he has cut cutlery, then this cannot be a break factor that maybe he is really, really good. I think this is a whole system running in a brain. Like I said, social media has released so much dopamine that you are thinking that I don't want to do it. What do I make of the mistakes? If you have any mistakes that you have thought that I have not cut a focus then I am justified in my decision. One can be said that Gen Z's behavior that I had studied that they don't want to make a decision and it turns out to be bad. So, if I have gone with a girl and it breaks our, then what will happen? My friends will go ahead and go ahead.

1:14:09I will do a portrait on social media. So, instead of taking the leap and giving it a try, it's better I don't take the leap at all. This is also a Gen Z's psychology in terms of why take the risk? First, tell us that you have put your own hands in a wrong way. So, that is also a Gen Z psychology. True. And it's also maybe paradox of choice. Possibly. That we think that there are so many options in the world so we are sensitive for rejection in every small thing we have to do and very lower satisfaction with the chosen partner. Correct. Because at the back of our head they're always like there's so many choices there's so many fishes and that's the common word.

1:14:49There's something called shrekking also right? You think that I probably have settled with a lower standard person and then you're like it's not a constant choice it's a conscious choice people do shrekking shrekking is that we'll come to vocabulary of Gen Z at some point we have to do it there's another trend which is self partnering have you heard of it? yeah explain it please okay so it's like many young people who solo living solo travel self love self self self all these are doing in fact the number of searches on Google around solo travel and self-love has drastically increased and it keeps on increasing year on year on year double digit growth so it's because of self-partnering that we choose genuine freedom over anything else it's a problem of being let me explain why sorry did I cut you off it's a problem of being people should understand how the human brain is configured subconscious brain it is configured for human connection how do you survive?

1:15:55what do you describe it in New York? so you are living in the delusion that I am alone so I am very happy true, occasionally you should travel all that is there but human beings, the way our subconscious mind is wired, we want community, we want human touch, we want family, subconscious brain is wired like this, if you don't get it धीरे धीरे वो subconscious brain में जो chemicals release होते हैं, अच्छे chemicals, serotonin, oxytocin, empathy, sympathy, love, धीरे धीरे वो कम होते रहेंगे. And when धीरे धीरे जब वो कम होता रहेगा, आपका जो life का general level of happiness है, वो कम होता रहेगा. अब miserable होते जाओगे.

1:16:39When a mother sits with a child, it is the highest form of oxytocin and serotonin release. slowly you are going to go from that family your quality of life will go down I don't say that self travel is bad do it once in a while I have done it you are busy, you want to move out but to say my life's primary identity is a problem of being a lot of people are making their identity saying that they want to experience life and there's a thing called solo experiences once in a while every thing is solo and they're making it a part of their identity that I like to enjoy alone more than anything else and they keep feeding that into their brain so they actually started getting more aloof I'm saying that the risk is that subconscious brain manipulation the positive chemicals are not released slowly you will see this ecosystem you will not release your serotonin oxytocin or not release or not release it will not release it will see it will not a good idea it's not a good idea loneliness people justify loneliness and you need to love your company but pure loneliness is not a good idea.

1:17:45Then go to jail and take it. There is also a community. There is also a community. Solitary confinement. Solitary confinement. Luxurious solitary confinement. It's not a good idea. There was a woman in Gujarat recently. A 24-year-old woman. Was on Netflix. She was probably inspired by. I don't know. Maybe it's a choice. She married herself. She's talking about sologamy. It's true. I'm not making it up. It's a public news. It's like 24-year-old Shama Bindu tied the knot with herself last month. The first example of sologamy in India. This woman married herself. The question is, I said three basic requirements of marriage.

1:18:35Companionship, intimacy, reproduction, if you want. What is she getting out of it? So I don't know. I think it's you have to enjoy your company and do it. Many people enjoy your company to make it as an identity and live a life basis that is a very difficult option. We will not be happy in life. But this is not the thing about one person. You can see this overall trend in the last 10 years single occupancy house which we call single living has gone from 3.7 % to above 7%. So it's doubled. Agreed. And it's increasing. New York which you have said New York this trend maximum 50 plus people are alone in big big and Japan New York Japan to a certain extent Beijing they are lonely they are rich but lonely miserable is that the life you want to lead it can be if you don't want to spend time you do it but it's a very bad life to lead it's a very sad life to lead what happens to a generation where ghosting is normal.

1:19:47No communication is really normal. There was a survey that 86 % Gen Z say that they have never ghosted in life or they have ghosted. So, if the generation who believes that ghosting is very normal, what will happen in marriage? I think ghosting is underlying psychology to understand India's opinion. say, globally we are what is called a high context culture, we can't say anything. So, if you have a selection from HR, if you don't have a selection, HR doesn't say sorry we rejected you, they will ghost you. Because Indian society, and I say reality I'm not a fuss, but reality is India doesn't want to listen to us, don't talk to us, it will go.

1:20:36If you don't reply to me, my job selection will go. Don't say anything, it will go. So that is where this inability to say no starts from. That we are in high context culture. We can't speak in the head. And then it translates into personal relationship where if you tell a person that sorry I cannot be with you. That will take a personal insult in life. If you don't talk about it, it will get bad for one day. It will get good for the next day. Because we don't have to listen to it. Because of our culture. High context culture. Hence, what I have given example is in the ghosting scenario. Now, the other part of your question.

1:21:11when you grow up and you do it for the need to talk about it you are ghosting because you cannot communicate you are ghosting so that you don't want to do the emotion is it? because if I say no because my inability to have hard conversations correct, true it is my inability it has nothing to do with other person may also be that I don't want to say no maybe you will feel bad it can be two sides I don't have to say politely I don't have to say that. The other one, I think I'll be old. Why do I say that? I don't react. It's both. Now, the same generation when they come into marriage, it's not that they cannot talk.

1:21:48If they keep the ecosystem right, it's a very simple process. If you every day and I know some therapists say this, after dinner, husband and wife leave the phone, take a walk for 30 minutes and just talk. All your life issues are going to be sorted. It's as simple as this. People don't do it. It's as 30 minutes a day if you just talk without a phone, life issues are going to be sorted. can you do it is the big question is the big question you want to do it is the big question there's one more trend which is happening in the marriage world which is before marriage living relationship living relationship has been tripled in last couple of years in India it has been tripled what is this living relationship which is which is actually probably better option for young people that's why they're choosing that and not marriage.

1:22:38Look, living now is a lot, like you have seen your daughter, it's a lot growing. And there is merit to it. Marriage is a big investment. Look at it from a man's perspective. It's a cost of marriage. Families are associated. From a man's perspective, the perennial threat is, if it's bad, then the alimony goes from me. From a woman's perspective, their entire ecosystem is changing. So marriage is a big cost. Living is a simple trial that I will live with it or will live with it. It's a simple trial. It's like a zero sort of limited risk investment. If it's going, it's a good thing. If you're a psychopath, you don't need to get out of the way.

1:23:13You don't need to marry. So it is a trend that will scale up. It is a trend that will scale up. Definitely. You've become a very common in Bombay-Bangalur. But in tier 2 India, it's not a bad thing. It's not a bad thing. And I think… Is it fear of commitment? I don't think it's… You can walk away from… I think it's being practical. I don't think it's fear of commitment. I think you just… What a live-in says is, I am not sure that I am ready for marriage with you. This is a simple pilot. We say pilot in business. This is a pilot. We will see that are you what you say you are. If we are to get rid of both.

1:23:49Because what happens in dating is that you are getting someone for 2 hours per day. What is 24 hours? I don't know. But no one will ever be able to live. So at some point, you are designing in your head. to be like let's say you're entering a product which is bound to fail because sometimes what happens and I've seen this I may be wrong but this is observation when you marry there's a very big social cost that when you get out there's a little problem you don't get out of a minute so you are more okay to probably let's say go through a rough patch when a rough patch is running there is no problem maybe financial maybe emotional maybe just physically you are not bored or irritated or something or something or something so that time you have that rough patch which is a few months you have to do okay because the social cost of it is a lot of money so you train yourself that it's okay and then just a fact because you are staying with me in a few months you have to try I also like to do it again and then the marriage gets back on track and it's a beautiful marriage.

1:25:02And these phases are coming. Every time in 3-4 years, 5 years, there will be a rough patch, then it will be very good. Then there will be a rough patch, then it will be done. If you have a non-committal, no social cost kind of arrangement, which is let's say living relationship or anything at all, it will be a little rough, which is bound to happen. You will leave it. And then you start from zero with someone else. with that. Then you go back to 2 years, 5-3 years, you'll be bored, you'll be bored. Then again starts from zero. So there's no social obligation. There is no structure that you force to look at yourself and fix a problem.

1:25:39Because you can just run away from a problem. It is so funny. The older person is justifying the living. And the younger person is justifying the living. It is so funny. Ideally, our opinion should have been the exact opposite. So let us answer that. He was just finding a delirious and he was saying it. Let us go through the living example. Look, I think that's how I think of marriage. I get your point. I get your point. I've seen so many marriages which are very beautiful. But maybe if I look at them in 10 years then they're very good. Correct. But if I look at a specific 2 months then they're very terrible.

1:26:19Correct. So here is my thought. One thing you said I think a live-in also has a cost in a live-in. Because the simple thing is that if you put a live-in in social media, your friends will go to your home, that is a social cost. Here the cost is financial, but here it is also a cost. Higher or lower is a matter of debate, but here it is also a cost. Number one. Number two, if you look at the live-in, it's not that the one who has a relationship, he will be successful in live-in and marriage. in marriage in marriage in divorce in divorce in three months in divorce in divorce you have to write through the wave who has to write through do it in live-in and in marriage who has to write through not do it in six months that divorce is going to be if you look divorce cases trends in India number of cases that are less than one year of marriage is very high it's doubling every year so who has that psyche has not I don't have to succeed so that is one second live-in maybe people should understand that if you have 3 months or 6 months there is an emotional investment that has been made and overnight no one will stop that because the amount you will be because of that emotional investment it's sunk cost in finance so your emotional investment will ensure that you won't break so unless something gets so even in a live in because of that sunk cost you will try and give it a shot in terms of that.

1:27:53So my first time, there is also social cost social media cost, family cost and there is an emotional investment which people make and nobody likes a heartbreak so whoever has to break it he will also break it whoever has to break it from the wrong intent there is also wrong intent if it doesn't work here it will not work there by that logic or else I'm just saying the fear of commitment hardcore of commitment by that line of reason number of people divorcing in less than one year would not be increasing every year because they would have said that I will do 4 or 5 years that number of people divorcing immediately is becoming very high maybe so but living is not a bad phenomenon for the next generation it's not a bad phenomenon yeah I'm not against yeah yeah yeah just giving you a yeah yeah perspective yeah yeah for me at least how I see it personal opinion that social cost in marriage is way higher that's why many people back out or are very scared or think a lot before actually finalizing whether they want to marry or not versus they think a lot less and they're purely just in love when they're in living relationship so in living relationship all 15 filters are done what if because in your head the cost of exit is so low matter of debate I have not lived in so I wish I had I have not but me neither this is purely all things only people have seen the truth we have never lived experience we have never lived experience I'm not even married so I don't yeah I know of course of course in hindsight if you ask me if I say my experience it would have been a good idea I didn't but in hindsight if I had the chance I would have done it which is you feel is going to be true yeah prediction I think what is very interesting is the feminism as a concept we know that is now probably going to end explain let me explain this explain so when so I used to do futures prediction in my previous role so one of the things we all say that one way to predict the future is what is happening in the US and China.

1:30:14It will come in India for 5 years. Which I have initially answered. The second way we saw the future is that the signals are the counter trend. Because society always goes like this. So there is a huge trend in the US and I want to read this out. And this means feminism may come to an end. Now what does this mean? Historically, what does feminism mean? A woman has who wants to study, she can study. and the place they want to work and the equality of labor is in the house this is the historical definition of feminism now there is something which is called the rise of traditional wives trad wife which is happening in the US and the numbers I will give you they are just fascinating what is happening millions of women are saying this is the truth we have said we have said if you go to the office jauge, 18 ghande kaam karoge, shadi karoge bache ne paida karoge, tum life mein khush raoge, you'll be free humko nahi karna hai, yeh jhoot bola gaya so there are millions of women who are now in the US that are saying if you see variety of research 20 to 40 % of all women across variety of research that say that we want to embrace the old lifestyle humko shadi karna hai, humko choti si job karna hai, we want to have children, we want to have a normal life we don't have to do this girl babe boss babe hustle culture this is a joke this is a tremendous rise that is happening I'll give you some numbers so for example if you see especially the republican women the acceptance 37 % of them want to be traditional wives they are rejecting feminism if you look at another survey that was done where 50 % of the women said we are okay being traditional wives If you see a survey by King's College London 25 % said We are okay being traditional wives These are millions and millions of women And if you go on TikTok This trad wife will get like 300-500 million views So this is a big rate that people are saying Women are saying that we have been Sold a lie on feminism We don't have to do it So this is a huge trend that is happening This is a whole counter trend Which I have described Because if we scale this trend If this trend is properly scaled, then marriage will make a phenomenal comeback.

1:32:45Suddenly what you will see is next generation believes we have to marry. We have children we want to have. If this traditional wife scales up, it's not in China. It's a US phenomenon. Then it will come to China and then it will come to India. But I find this absolutely phenomenal. If you go on TikTok, what these people do is they interview women and they say, feminism was a lie that was sold to us. Strong opinions come in. Explain simple words that what is wrong? What do people prefer? Independence, financial rewards? What are women not choosing? So what women are saying we were told under the theme of feminism that if you study a lot, you work 16 hours a day, you don't need to marry, you don't need to marry children, You are very happy in life.

1:33:38You will have money, control, you can go anywhere. You can independently take decisions. You don't need to be independent. You need to be a boss babe or a girl babe. A lot of these women are saying that we don't need a life. Because this is a life of loneliness. This is a life where I work for 16 hours. My back is going, my neck is going. I am becoming a slave at the corporate workplace. I hate my job. I don't have a personal life. Where is the freedom? There is no freedom. I hate my entire life. So now they are saying, whatever my mom had a life, she was good at all.

1:34:25She would get married. There was always a husband. And when she came in the evening, we would always go running to our mother and she would be nice and as she grew older this family was a social support we don't have a lot of luxurious life but that is something we want to be we don't want to be alone, miserable sitting with backache with 1 million dollars in a bank account that is a lie which feminism taught us so this is the entire movement we have to become a traditional wife and 40 % this will get a girl to marry a husband who will get a girl himself go to the house and then our beautiful family will be a beautiful family and children we will be happy with you and I will do this I will be a school teacher I will not I don't want to be a CEO she doesn't want to be a CEO she will do a job that's the problem and 20 to 40 % of American women want to do this so if this is a scale up this is basically against the face of feminism in a way if you see this is also feminism because the woman is saying I am making the choice I'm choosing I don't force I don't force I don't force but essentially that is not what feminism means feminism means you have to become CEO or do alone so if this trend scale up then we'll have a marriage will make a stunning comeback so you feel this was a nature or evolutionary way of roles yeah right that man largely man's evolutionary role provider women's nurturer so provider or nurturer again then those roles will come back?

1:35:59Look, if you study the history of humanity, all these trends go in what we call sign curves. Like you can see the history of the 1920s. It was called the roaring 20s. People spent a lot of time. In the 19th century, Spanish plague came. After that, people started spending a lot of money. Then everyone thought, this is going to be going on. 1930s, depression came, all consumption shot down. So, society is going on, in every 10 years trend reverse the question that you asked my question will come back provider and nurture the gen alpha what they will see is gen z and then they will see that gen z lonely they are miserable pressure then they will think maybe this is not the right model maybe then the provider and nurturer model is the right so this can be gen alpha they will think this existing model is wrong.

1:36:55Alpha probably hang over Gen Zika, beta. Then that trend make a stunning comeback. Do you think that the possibility is that these roles will be reversed? Maybe you're saying unlikely. No, no, no. My point is maybe you realize that next generation should be a provider and a nurturer because that's probably a right way to do it. Correct. Or it's good. People are happy from years. Both providers clash. Both nurturers will not be lost. Right? So that's there provider nurturer people understand my role in a house your role is whatever but maybe the gender is reversed in some cases not possible I'll tell you why women be like hey I'm more intelligent I'm more intelligent I'm more independent I can make more money so I'll be a provider you be the nurturer you be a home dad home not possible cook I'll explain it why when I'll go back to the human subconscious brain subconscious brain 99 % decisions for all practical purposes human subconscious brain a man has been told you are the provider subconscious brain woman has been designed you are the nurturer subconscious brain change not subconscious brain gender fluidity identity this is the trend which is becoming so many people now you go to US schools it's a big big trend so many people are confused about their own gender over a period of time over a period of time the subconscious brain will win this can be a temporary trend so a subconscious brain which is the mechanism it will determine what will grow at scale and what will last in time so you feel it's a fad it's a fad it's not gonna last it's not gonna half of it is political now the conservative establishment is coming so you can see that fad will be reduced and if the next 4 years in this year, a conservative establishment will come down and then it will be less than university.

1:38:56So these are fads. These are not driven by the only the subconscious brain will determine what is happening on scale and what is happening until long time. The rest of the brain will be running but only the subconscious brain is not like that. Which is, that is why I am saying it will be very difficult. So the home dad culture is not It will be a fad. It won't scale up because the subconscious is not like that. But there will be exceptions. There will be exceptions. I am saying that percent of the time not going to be but will it reach scale over 10 years unlikely let me be very honest and brutal in your generation you are intelligent well read you make good money you are good from colleges very progressive good thoughts educated exposed so you are like probably top 1 % in the world in the world of exposure and understanding and your friends will be like top of the top institutes top of the top companies in MNCs, right?

1:39:53Global MNCs, you have led that. So, great money, great education, great exposure, great company backing you and great global perspective. Okay. Will all your friends be like this? Most of them. That is my circle. In your circle, in your circle, the home dad is the provider.

1:40:24I know examples Look, there is a little bit of a izzet because it's the value of education like you said, I studied certain institutes I was a little rock star career but there is no much a man who is a home dad you talk about subconscious or social conditioning about it a man's izzet doesn't have to be the money from reality. If you don't have a reality, it's a reality of life. You can study anywhere and that will be a little bit. So, that will be a little bit. It will be a value of education but because it's sitting idle, there's no value. I'll give you an example of my, a friend of mine. You must have heard all these news.

1:41:11So, recently, there was a 6 a.m. email came where 12 ,000 people got laid off by an IT company. All over the news. All over the news. I happen to know a senior director very well this is the IIT the top IIT so that's exactly what you describe he's all fit in that he's worked in US then India he's been back 15-20 years he's earned money he earned money now see what is happening to him at his house this house he's made money in his own a very luxurious place in Bangalore a flat the sun comes home in the evening this is what he has told me the son comes home in the evening the dad asks him do you want to play a video game the son replies dad I have a whole day work I go to a school I will sit in your house this is a IIT Bombay 18 years he has made a house he has narrated this who is the money you have to pay for the school exactly the house he has made a house IIT Bombay he has made a basic business

1:42:20The wife comes back. Listen to what happens. The wife comes back. The wife starts telling him,

1:42:38Imagine the man's ego that is getting hurt. He's earning one and a half crores today. Rockstar. wife is saying that you have a start-up and you have to work on it the next day the wife comes and tells him that what is plumbing is wrong, what is it doing all day?

1:42:56assume the guy's background the house has made it a temporary blip, he is going down he stays in one of these fancy luxurious apartments he is going down, he is asking the neighbor he is asking you, he is going to break why don't you start the house? it's a good business

1:43:15this is a man and this is a man who has earned his money 18 years he has earned his money in life this is how he is being treated you know what he has told me when he spoke to me it is so heart-wrenching to hear this he told me that Sandeep if I have worked in the company and I have died in a day and I have died it would have been better than what I am going through right now. Because every day my 1 % respect is getting worse. My family is getting worse. My 1 % respect is getting worse. I am getting worse in my own. And when will I go? This is a man who has a rock star career. IIT. Top IIT. Life has made money.

1:44:04Successful by any standards. He is telling me I would rather die of a heart attack than stay at home and be treated like this. After having crores in the bank. After building that house where everybody is staying in. He has made that flat. And today there is a temporary blip and people are treating him like this. His son is like this. I have always told my dad that I have told him. I don't know what reaction was. Belt read. Belt read only. But this is the reality. So a man has to earn. Imagine a man saying that I'm going to die it is better than what I'm going through, right? Because this is heart-wrenching because I was going to know your perspective that all trends and all these things are good and I want to be empathetic and I want to be like that that everybody has that equal respect and in my eyes there will be so much respect and I wanted to ask why if the top of the society is educated I'm not that educated I'm not that I don't come from that society which is wild you have a little bit of a little bit because the situation I have been in the door and the situation I have been in the door if you are a girl and you are above the age after that after that if you don't go out of the house and don't work then you are in the income you are not a living it's a great thing for your deeds you don't have no respect for your mate no respect girlfriend, boyfriend in your pool there is female meeting value dating value in them no respect neither of your parents in marriage either of your against marriage should not be fair you with your family you don't do good you'll go out and if your daddy your daddy будет very big business is business is business 5 ,000 people work there and go there and sit there and the intern or watchman that's not the right correct so if you're a girl and you're going to go and you're going to go and you're going to go to your money and you're going to have zero no matter that you're going to be in modern society no matter that you're going to be a partner or you're going to be a lot of your family or you're going to be you are looking at the temporary phase and you are learning and you are doing this I will build on that I remember I said you need to work, you will have to earn money and this is the heart truth of life if you are a man, if you have to live in life you will have to earn money you will have to study anywhere come from tier 2 India, tier 1 India come from India, whatever you are coming from India the story gets worse what I just narrated and think about this is a man's story which has no financial crunch he can retire today so you think about what he is what will happen with his family now see where this is going to go today he doesn't talk about anyone I'll complete this part and then I know similar person you have some story so this is why I'm following you similar in tech layoffs my friend friends, it's the same.

1:47:30She went and went and she went. Okay. She's wife and she almost got equal. Okay. So if she didn't get any more, wife she got something about 60-70 ,000 rupees. She got a thousand ,000 rupees somewhere in that range. Almost same. Right. She's gone and she's got four months. She's just killing her. the household was together all decisions were together they both started to live together because we didn't want to live together we wanted to live together both made together both contributed to the house all things were together everything they thought we were double income and we will be together and we will build future now we only need one society in the economy only one is one problem only one

1:48:29and by the way it gets worse wife who was equal standard she also she was trying to do something find something take a little income what will do it's very sad and to me that was shocking and I always thought it's going to be men and equally it is not subconscious brain subconscious brain wiring the story which I'm going to say similar to what yours is. So, when he had a long conversation, he told me that when you go to your life, everyone feels like society kills you. All the more you have made immediate family. He told me first, it's not that society is a very far-fetched thing. Immediate family doesn't give you to live.

1:49:13You will see that disrespect on their face. Now, see where it is going with him. Now, who will talk about it? He can't talk about it? He can't talk about it? He can't talk about it? Who is he talking to? He's talking to ChatGPT. He's talking to ChatGPT. ChatGPT is the only one who actually can say something. Now, assume this trend continues. He's 43. He's also thinking that he's not going to get a salary. In a$10 ,000 ,000 salary or in an IT such a bad situation he's not going to get a lot. He's thinking that he's going to get retirement. He knows that he's listening to 20-30 years now. What do people do?

1:49:49What do men typically do? If you've seen research, such men do bad habits. Gambling, drinking, some form of bad habit and if it's much more happened, he will take the extreme step. Now why is this such a problem? Because hundreds of thousands of men in India who are in the tech sector in the situation go through. You can see in the news Facebook said that we will shoot May 20th, we will take 8000 people. Now everyone is stress. They say that that day we will take 8000 people. You don't know list में कि पता नहीं है अब किसी को रात को नहीं नहीं आ रही है obviously किसी कोई भी जा सकता 8 ,000 लोग को हम उस दिन निकाल देंगे और जो existing 6 ,000 open position है हम उनको फिल नहीं करेंगे 14 ,000 लोग निकल गए तो nobody is able to sleep at night क्योंकि किसका number आएगा 20 में को kisi ko nahin pata now there are so many such men and there's a theory in the book called revenge of the tipping point Malcolm Gladwell and he proves it ki jab sabka scenario aise thoda difficult hai ek person nye agar extreme step liya you will see an avalanche that will happen and he proves this theory explain so for example joh wuh theory mein prove karta hai agar aise scenario mein ek ne suicide kiya you may see host of men who will try such negative things.

1:51:07So in this case, if this man decides that I have to divorce, it's not worth it. You will see a series of divorces that will happen. Because everyone is at the same stage. They will see that one person and they will just go. What he proves. If that person, hopefully he won't, he takes an extreme step. Assume the number of people who will think, if a guy has told me, I'd rather die of a heart attack than going through this. Imagine how many people are feeling. One person does that, what is the guarantee the others are not doing so my request through your podcast to every family in the tech cities that if you have a man who's lost his job please be kind to him he's fighting 1000 battles on his own he doesn't need to go on he needs peace he needs respect he needs one year he will come back he just peace do don't kill him that you are not capable of living give him respect this is my only request I have this is a sort of crisis that we are going through right now and if you are that man or woman who has taken the tech sector because of IT crash and you are a rock star your career is a rock star and you are like from the top institutes and you have just killed it in life come to us I am hiring we all are hiring we are expanding we will probably be able to match those salaries also somewhere not everybody's but for few people I know today Oracle or Meta we will make it come join us if you are a rock star we need experience people we need some structure and experience so that we can actually go to next level Melana, I'm very serious.

1:53:02This is not true. Genuine request. Raj is a very smart marketer. But no, I think this situation is very difficult. People don't talk about this. And of course, alternate careers should be seen. Please come to him. His company is doing extremely well. But again, to my request to every child who's listening to this. Class 6 or class 7 student. Who is your father, especially the man. Be empathetic. Be polite. Don't kill this. What's your job? You're living in the house. They've made it. Your school fees. And it must be hurting them worst. It must be hurting them. So I'll also tell you sometimes you can't blame the children also.

1:53:44Because they live in that ecosystem. And they have to see a little humiliation. He told me probably my son is not wrong. Because his classmates are saying, your father is still unemployed. And he has to listen to him at night. and then of course the lifestyle expenses come in your vacations it's not enough it's all on every stage so maybe the child is also stressed maybe the wife is also stressed people are going to go asking her your husband has he found something she's also facing it everyday but despite all of this I will request this be the kindest to the man he's the one who is running you are running a little bit he is running he is running he is running give him a little time hopefully the situation will all come out of So you feel the prediction, the next prediction is that the tech executives will be able to get the wave of divorces.

1:54:40A lot of people, sometimes even the women may say this life is not worth it. You will see a lot of separations coming. So in tech world, there are layoffs. In next 24 months, there will be divorces. be on the divorce. You'll see the number will shoot up disproportionately. It is unfortunate, but that is how and women will initiate more than men? I think both can be. The man may say man may be at an all time low. The woman will also start see what will happen is cheating may not be divorced cheating may be because what will happen the man will not be available now. The woman will feel that he's not available the man will think woman is not available both will go outside and look this is one of the reasons why cheating is becoming so big in you will hear about Gleedon 3 million users 4 million now yeah Bangalore is 17 % of that Gleedon this is one of the underlying reasons in last just last couple of years in last 2 years sign ups on extra marital affair apps have shot up by 148 % yeah yeah and one of the other interesting thing on that is I was just reading somewhere that Ashley Madison, Ashley Madison's name was the first show app and she was very famous because her data leaked.

1:56:03Ashley Madison actually analyzed it and was so surprised looking at it that tier 2 cities like Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu had the most sign ups in India in extra retail. Times of India was reported in report. It seems that it will be more in Bangalore and Bombay. So Ashley Madison Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu had the most sign ups in India tier 2 men are registering on extra marital affairs apps like Ashley Madison so you feel extra marital affairs and cheating and infidelity will go up will go up will go up will go up it's already like it is high varnah these numbers which are not 3 million 4 million but it is not because people are bad they will have to understand what is the driver people are cheating why do they do people are cheating because they do some people are either bored, some people don't have availability whether it is emotional, whether it is physical.

1:57:00Now because of this situation, emotional unavailability will be a lot higher. The communication gap will be a lot higher. Where will they find it? It has to be outside. Childhood trauma. They also do it. Yeah. Childhood trauma. They also do it. But this will trigger that entire thing in terms of people cheating. Cheating numbers will go up. But dating numbers all around the world is going down. Dating apps number. Dating apps is going down. dating a little dating apps are not a sinus because people understand dating is not a good platform dating app is not a good platform why because if you also look at the numbers men get rejected about 95 % of the time so for every man and women have more acceptances than men but for every man it feels that this is only a platform and it is artificial and it is digital it is not worth my time the woman is also thinking it's so fake profiles people say something people say something they don't have validation in person touch and both of them it feels like the fear of missing out on the next best person is compromising what I have in hand so that's why you're seeing the dating app is going down but the physical event dating is booming in the world so people are doing these curated things that you want to do hobby based curating you want to do trekking men and women who want to do trekking are coming together and that is really pushing as a business so the reason of dating app reason is a dynamic people are fed up of the swipe right and swipe left okay so that's a different dynamic and then you're seeing extra marital affairs will go up why it is already up now let's go tech layoffs and this is not going to happen all time is not going to happen all time is going to happen in depression all time is going to happen alcohol sales goes up drugs go up womenizing people are going to happen people become more womenizers and then cheating also goes up across the world across history when depression jobs go usually the money is going to be but because you don't have money so you're running on the gambling but you're running so that's not now it's normal now why is it happening in the last couple of years it has been the best years of everyone's life in terms of making income so why are you thinking cheating and I'll give you some numbers so 49 % of the people experience a lack of thrill in their marriage they are bored so a survey was written and many parameters were asked Times of India is a quote 49 % so 1 % can choose multiple parameters 49 % chose that we are bored in the marriage number 1 44 % said we don't have communication or emotional availability number 3 26 % said physical intimacy 24 % said there is no problem but we just want to explore so these drivers boring drivers lack of physical intimacy these are irrespective of tech crisis or not you can be doing very well in life but then you can be bored you can be doing very well in life physical intimacy is not enough so that is what drives the cheating this is what will get triggered because of the tech layoffs so that is why cheating is already high and of course there are other drivers if you will see in the tech sector 12-14 hours man and woman are working together pressure environment that is a natural bonding you have heard work husband, work wife these concepts if you are spending more time with another woman at work 12 hours and you are doing 30 minutes then slowly naturally that person understands you a lot more same ecosystem, same company and over a period of time emotional connection can become in terms of that it doesn't need to become but it can become Do you feel that cheating will reduce AI?

2:00:55Because emotional support and emotional need will be fulfilled AI. So you probably will try to be more morally righteous in your life. I don't know. I hope it does. But I don't know. No trust in humans. This is the fundamental truth. No trust in humans. AI can be. I will give you an example. I said AI wife or AI husband can be a perfect companion but you will think I'm bored with it I need another AI I need another AI or another person I need to be bored sometimes men and women also want that thrill this is the reason why toxic people attract so many partners that people need thrill that they need to self-damage me so maybe if the AI is perfect then people will say this is what I do I need toxicity in life so maybe it will there's an addiction doctor I was speaking to okay there is a section of wives housewives richy rich houses in north I don't want to take a name of a state specifically okay but it's not Delhi let me just also put it out people would think it's very modern and all that no it's a traditional state and there are richy rich wives they have a significant number okay and there's a significant this is a doc it's an addiction doctor who diagnoses and sits with them significant number of housewives and women who are addicted to cheating wow because they seek thrill bored yeah because their husbands are out yeah husbands go out make money on they come back they're very tired they don't have any thrill any drive anything left after a time so women go out so they are addicted to have affairs with a lot of younger men and that is resulting to having affairs in the same family and outside family and with like all around so the husband's younger brother maybe younger brother friends, younger brother's friends all of that and it's a trend and there are so many cases of kids and their friends that is so horrible and it's addicted and he's like it's not one or two cases he's saying there's a significant number in just one state and women come to him and be like it's not that we wanted just something that we're now addicted and we want it more and more and more so we want to get off it so people are also realizing that it's wrong but they want to get off it I don't know it's a thrill like people are addicted to thrill you know there is a first of all it's very bad by the way if you see it's not a new phenomenon especially if you listen to Punjabi songs they're all written like the cheap ones they're written on specifically glorifying or maybe taunting about an affair of of husband's younger brother and wife is a very very thing India the most consumed and searched porn in India is is a women which has bhabhi in it yeah because it's a fantasy and thrill and what is interesting is it must be driving from both sides not just one side could be both are seeking thrill both are seeking thrill it's not just one side yeah so something like if you look in Bangalore circles in Bangalore it's quite common which is called open marriage and wife swapping you have heard open marriage open marriage I have heard but wife swapping is basically in Bangalore tech regions it's a common so open marriage is basically man and woman, you can basically have multiple partners as long as you keep each other informed.

2:04:50There is that bit of trust now with someone. It's common. Wife swapping, one couple is, another couple is. They are bored with their life. They swap the husband or the wife. So if it is husband one, wife one, husband two, wife two, they swap the partners. They swap the partners. This tech sector in Bangalore is quite common. It's quite common. It's quite common. is that 25 % reached or not nobody knows of course you don't have numbers for any of this but it is anecdotally quite common this is regularly if it's like trends open marriage wife swapping then it's going to be very difficult for society it's not common some people are doing like to me some people are doing I don't say that it will be more than 10 % anecdotally this is a lot travel and maybe in the circle news is more than you are in like the creme de la creme circle.

2:05:43So anecdotally, it's a lot of travel. Maybe percentage-wise, it's not that much. I hope it is. It's not that much. I would assume, hope it is less than 5%. I genuinely hope it is less than 5 % or less than 1%. Because if it's in the course of 10 years, if it's a scale-up and it's a level that it will reach that level, then... I'm very grateful and thank God that in my circles it's all reached. It's not reached. I'm very happy. like just I've seen open marriages I've seen multiple partners I've seen I've seen good bad ugly like this is just it gives me the ick what do we know your audience will be depressed when you listen but no it's true and I'm sure many people will see a lot of people because there are anecdotes in the concept I've heard of this I don't know that it's common it's quite common of course these anecdotes travel a lot more maybe percentage wise 5 % but travel is a lot of but it's a reality just weird

2:06:43you know there's another trend with AI do you think people and this is you know this data matrimonial sites that people are making AI AI is scanning that you only know the caste and it's people are matching more with castes and like specific caste and religion religion maybe they've gotten deeper and they want to do that and you can see that type of people who specifically cast I didn't know that so they will say basically Sandeep Sandeep Das you put Sandeep Das you put it you put it in a filter this is your caste then you will see that type of people so it's matrimony intelligent matching algorithm I don't think it match with Gen Z value system but it's going to increase so do you think that this trend so some people say it's great that we have to marry in our cast even the young people and some people say that this is just automating narrow mindedness and you are making more people narrow I would agree because definitely what you are saying but I would assume urban Gen Z की बात करते हैं, रूरल जन्जी की बात करते हैं, I think अगर बड़े cities के बात करें, I don't think they are hung up on this caste thing that much.

2:08:14उनके लिए वो compatibility, लोक, वो सब पहले match करेगा. Religion पे शायद फिर भी हो सकता है, थोड़ा सा टैबू है, but within a religion, I think caste पे उतना नहीं होगा. So this algorithm is for urban gen Z. Urban gen Z will be more interest matching and hobby matching. That will probably be more. Rural gen Z, I don't know. Because rural India is also very different. And if you go to any part of rural India, caste lines are very, very strong. If you travel even in UP today, no matter what people say, caste lines are strong. If you go to Bihar, caste lines are strong. That line is not possible. It is very difficult.

2:08:49It is very difficult. So if you are looking at tier 3 cities Tier 2 cities People may value this Not in urban gen Z I would assume I hope not But there's a trend That under the age of 25 There are more number of religious people And people interested in religion Than ever All around the world Very good point So young people are more religious Than old people Which is insane you know this is I was reading ki jo traditional religion aapke what do you call traditions hain let's say jo routines hain rituals hain wo young log zada karte hain than old people yes like more number of people haap dekho ke ho fast zada kar rahe hain ya ho jain ka parution follow karte hain ya muslim hain to wo rose follow karte hain you know like her religion every religion number of people agree yeah so young people are more obsessed with religion.

2:09:50Yes. And there is a business reason to it. If you see a very good fat, it's bhajan clubbing. You've seen yoga bhajan clubbing is heavy. So, Gen Z Singh, we don't have discs to go to bhajan clubbing. There are certain businesses that are growing. One is if you see online puja. I'm in Bangalore. I can't do puja in Banaras. So, you dip holy water in my house. One of the fastest growing businesses in India. Online puja. Second, astrology, astro sage, astrotalk, if you see platforms, growing very fast, highly profitable, so spiritual travel, third, you can take a temple, Gen Z is loving it, so all religion based businesses are smashing it, 20 % growth, nothing is happening, why is the underlying driver happening, one of the things is, if you see a Gen Z's life today, which is an anchor, not anchor.

2:10:48There is social media which says that you are back. Job situation weak. Relationship is not. Before we were in joint family. Nana and Nana were in pass. Now they are not. All are nuclear family. Nuclear family is not become friends. Relationship is not become job. AI is not become pressure. Who is your anchor? God. Who is your anchor? God is your anchor. Why is this working? If you look astrotechnology, astrotech platforms, why are they growing so well because the astrologer is acting like the therapist Gen Z astrologer's question what's the main question is asking astrologer's question is my ex when will come back?

2:11:26this is the most common question astrologer the astrologer is telling the Gen Z brother your life is good do not worry he probably is talking about but the astrologer is acting like a therapist why are people going to the temple fasting why are you doing God is the anchor because the rest of everything is not strict. It's like the rest. It's like the rest. We can see us. And what happened before? We always had grandparents. And we had some friends. Now because of social media and nuclear family, they all dissolved. So who will talk about it? There's no time in the house. Friends are not. Relationships are a mess.

2:12:02Who will talk about it? One point. That is why they're turning more religious. There's another theory that says Gen Z longs for nostalgia of the previous generation across the world you've seen theory so for example you can see trends have been very big one of the reasons Michael Jackson the movie was such a hit because he was a very big superstar other things you will see there's something called mom jeans mom jeans you can see that we wear a little bit that became a huge trend now the cell phone a basic cell phone is becoming a huge trend if you can see we use the airpods Gen Z saying we are wired airpieces use you are also doing it it's becoming a huge trend what is the underlying driver this is nostalgia because many Gen Z who was the millennial generation and before baby boomers their life was actually good their life wasn't so bad so when you ask Gen Z what did you miss in childhood they say I had a video game but that tennis ball and that cricket bat is something else to play in cricket bat they are longing for that and that is why all of this is coming up because we are talking about Gen Z here's the last segment I want to do so Gen Z is a vocabulary and some words some trends that are very popular I don't know I'm still going to open it for you relationship vocabulary which is Gen Z there are five words five terms or five concepts which are very famous in today's time if you know about the word explain then you tell me because you were in the world of future predictions what do you think that the concept or trend will fade is it just a fad or it is here to stay so we are just going to make sure that these two fad and that are coming fad or stay yes let's do this Raj is putting me on the spot here yes this is our gen Z relationship vocabulary.

2:14:11Open anything. Just pick, remove something. Just remove it. Just remove it. Roster dating. You know what roster dating is? Yes. You please tell me if it's the correct or not. Where I have an idea that you instead of dating one person, you're dating 10-12 people before you finalize on one person. So you're ready to keep roster ready. Because you don't want to commit from one. You want to keep everything. Question is, is a fad or a turn. I think when the majority of romantic interests on the dating platform, it will go. The day that the human experience, I said that it will be a hobby based, the human experience will shift, the human connection will be more than that.

2:14:56The human experience will go. So, when people find the dates of human experience, the time that 25-30 % of the overall business will not go, it will be happening in Australia. So how long? How many years you think? If I guess, I think another 3-4 years it will last. I would say. My best guess. Okay. Four years. Yeah. Okay. Then another term is the gen Z. Open up. Anything? Fleabagging. So, fleabagging is the idea. There was a series on Amazon. It was about this character, the lead character. And he consistently has bad choices in his relationships. That is fleabagging. consistently she made bad choices kya ya trend continue hooga the answer is yes kyunki why will it continue jen logan ka childhood trauma prominent hai wo aapne ek or series dekhi hooghi mad men don draper wali iconic series thi iconic i loved it don draper aapne jo dekha hooga consistently cheats on his wife consistently kyunki why uska jo childhood trauma tha he was brought up by a stepmother in a brothel to he always he never had his own mother and he wanted the longing of a woman.

2:16:07So, that childhood trauma multiplied by old. That is why he kept cheating. So, those who have been in childhood trauma, typically if you see people who come from single parent homes, generally their childhood trauma remains, divorce homes. When they go to the dating market, they will show a little behavior. They will attract wrong. They will always do wrong. Unless they don't do a lot of work on themselves, they will do it because that trauma will multiply and then that trauma will be triggered. So this is 10 years and plus. It will be played. Because if there is trauma, it will be played. And trauma will be seen.

2:16:46Infinity. You have had trauma, it will show up. It is as simple as it is. No one will solve it. You have to work a lot on yourself, unlike people who cannot do it. Third, anything. Black cat boyfriend. Black cat boyfriend. Where are your team names? Where is my idea? this is a person which is a very dependable boyfriend I have an idea meaning there are not many gestures of affection sort of low profile reserved little subtle subtle acts but this person will always be there this is like Rahul Dravidov boyfriend this is like Rahul Dravidov boyfriend quiet wall quiet wall but he will keep okay this will be the dream man going forward his wife will keep his wife will keep but But this problem of this is that because he may not be glamorous, people may not value him initially.

2:17:39But this is like he will age like wine. As much older he will be, it's like Rahul Dravid. As much older he will get older. We understand our value in the future. We understand our value in the future. So, his value is, but the other person has to understand his value. Because he won't do much gestures, he won't put flowers, he won't put them. But when you need to learn, he will be standing in life. And he'll be there. He will be there, won't cheat, won't talk much. but it will listen but the value of SLO is not this is a quiet support system but people are choosing these boyfriends there is a trend now before because the quiet support system type of girls were the nice guys they didn't have value finally there was a little value because people have realized that this black cat boyfriend is good I hope society will be good I hope it grows keep going up I would say it won't go My hope and reality I am hoping that this will grow because this is good society for The reality it won't be People will run after the toxic person Okay The reality it won't be The uncertainty in the world will increase the toxicity will increase The toxic people will attract because people would want something Sometimes this can happen This is a stage you will think why should I be this way maybe toxic maybe but he should grow it's a very good trend it's a very good trend Shrekking Shrekking where I have an idea from Shrek movie basically it means that I am marrying someone significantly lower than my standard and my expectation because I am getting married or doing it I will treat it but it doesn't do but it doesn't do but Shrekking is a It's a phenomenon Where I choose To go in such relationships Where the girl is less than me I know that it's not my level Still I choose Because I know that Because I'm going to date myself He'll be more loyal Or he'll be more loyal Or he'll always Treat me better Like have high stand Men will do it Women will not But women are doing it They are increasing increasingly number women are in fact choosing not to date someone of a higher value because they know that then they don't cheat, they don't leave, they don't leave they don't leave, they don't leave so do you think this trend will stay I think this is a battle with the subconscious brain for men this will go up because men will think I am here I have a lower standard peace to me and stay in a good way I want that Men for this will grow Women I am not convinced Maybe growing but the scale will reach I don't think because A woman's subconscious mind is wired that way Can she respect Somebody Significantly lower than her And this is subconscious mind This is not the right thing This is subconscious mind I don't think it will be for women It will be for men A man will say I want peace So women will be a little fad this is the most important trend.

2:20:56I don't think it will scale up. It will grow, but it will not come. Okay. Last one. Vogue fishing. This is the biggest trend. This is going on. This is going on. I think it means that if the other person is progressive, whatever my background, I'm telling him what I want to hear so that I become more attractive in the marketplace. Vogue fishing is I pretend and perform that I'm going to see how much vogue I am a supporter of feminism I support everything which is a woke culture I pretend but I This is woke fishing It will increase Our whole society It will be a little It will be a little It will be a little Because it's two or three Some people will realize People will figure out that it's talking about 4-5 dates.

2:21:55But it will at least take you to the 4-5 dates. And just for that, I think it will work. Do you think woke, if you try to become a woman, pretend you attract more partners? 100%. So you can't show this, that you're woke, you're just traditional values. You don't attract it. People will think narrow-minded. You will think narrow-minded. It's unfortunate. But ideally, it should be a date on honesty. But the problem is that one of the trends I also wanted to talk about is across the world, if you look at it, men have become conservative, women have become progressive. Okay, explain. What this means is, economists studied that men are increasingly conservative.

2:22:45Because men are thinking that the traditional home setup was very good. What they saw. Where the man sort of led, the woman was there and Gartner has said that 31 % of men want to be the final charge. Women have become very progressive. They're saying, I will decide on my body. I will decide on abortion. I will decide on who I want to marry. I will decide on how many male best friends I have. So they are turning progressive. Men are becoming conservative. Now if this man has to do something here, then he has to do that, isn't it? He has to do that. She is very strong in her ideal. He is very strong.

2:23:25Someone has to make the compromise. Who needs the marriage more? It's the man. It's not the woman. The woman doesn't want to marry. That's what the data is showing. So, woke fishing will be. And a lot of men will do it. And why do you think it's happening? Progressive versus conservative. So, for example, a lot of people are progressive and conservative. So, there was a lot of reasons. It wasn't always. It wasn't always. What's happening now? If you look at its underlying theories, first time in the world, rich countries more graduate women are coming than men if you look in rich world in OECD 45 % of women are graduate and above 35 % of men are graduate and above so one man is thinking in a rich world that system is against me feminism has not delivered for me why?

2:24:15one thing is that more number of women are graduating which means they get more jobs now they don't get a job if they get a job then because they feel like diversity they are going to get now they are going to get because she will date same and above same and above she won't date down so they feel like I'm going to go on the dating platform and I get 5 % acceptance 95 % people are rejecting so because of all of this and the man sees on social media that all men are pigs etc So, it seems that this system is not going to deliver me. So, the previous system that was my father's system, that was not bad.

2:24:53So, it was going to happen. You need traditional value. The woman is now thinking, I am educated. I am moving up. I want to have complete right on my life. So, she is turning more progressive. And the men are turning conservative. And the gender war is happening, because of that, it cannot communicate. So, a smart man will tell the woman what she wants to hear to move at least to the third date. It's true. that it's wrong, obviously it's wrong but it will happen. But I would assume traditionally it will happen like that. Girls will be less progressive and girls will be more progressive. Because just from the pure, purely from the point of how society is formed.

2:25:29That the girls have more freedom, everything has more. So they should not do value. No, they don't do progression. They don't do anything about it. They always want tradition. You know, it's like you want to be more conservative because you live in a very progressive world in a freedom world and women they've been just conservative thought process or such type of thinking they've been and they've been and they've been and they've been and they've been always talking about revolution and talking about like progressive and changing the world and probably they'll be rebels look at it this way today a Gen Z man is saying I don't like my current system I want my previous system so that's he's turning conservative previous Gen Z I mean, my generation of people they were happy with the system.

2:26:18They were not saying I should have a system of my father. That is the difference. So they were okay being progressive. Your generation is saying I don't like what I have. I want my fathers. I'm saying I don't want my fathers. That is the difference. That is the difference in the argument. Women's what you said is right. Every generation of women thinks we should be more progressive and value-add. Because it's been pushed. Correct. Society was built in this way. society is built so it's very normal but it's a driver a little different so men conservative is a new phenomenon which is coming up and that is what explains some of these gender wars and terms like that interesting here's the last thing yes the last question maybe if you need a pen or paper just take it and do it so we're calling it countdown close okay so next 60 seconds we're gonna sit silent I'm gonna give you 60 seconds and 60 seconds you think about the whole conversation today on the basis of exactly which three predictions on which you're ready to bet okay and like which are like three insights which is probably not a prediction or trend the people who are watching should be very seriously and frame it in the proper one line that you should say I just need three lines 1, 2, 3 lines and we can start now think about it if you want Raj you should also do this along with me after me

2:28:04okay here are my three predictions in the 10 seconds number one marriage will collapse by 2040 collapse 0 % will be very low if today in India 95 % of people married 20-25 % will come US or China will collapse number one prediction number two prediction the world is going to see a loneliness epidemic any generation 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s loneliness epidemic will come number three and this is a positive hopeful prediction which I don't know but I want to end it on a note of hope that if people are in the dating market and if they prioritize friendship and respect that whole thing we have said will be reversed friendship and trust but will it happen no so that's the prediction is I wanted to end it on hope I didn't want to the prediction is it won't happen won't happen.

2:29:08It will not happen. So you are saying your three predictions are marriages collapse one second. Loneliness epidemic. Loneliness epidemic or dating market will be done. People will go to AI. It's a very sad. That's why I put a third point. Give a good prediction. My prediction, one prediction and I genuinely believe in that which is and I don't say this it seems to me that it will happen people will be closed now they will go 10-15 years we will go down but today there are fewer friends there are fewer problems you can see movies you can see you can see you can see you can see technology and AI and this is going to be experience economy is gonna see a boom.

2:30:08You will force yourself to go out of the house and go to the best of 15 people and that's why you will start actually your social skills to start again and you will have more friends and you will enjoy that more. You will prioritize that more. I genuinely hope so. I genuinely hope so. We should not end on such a negative note. I genuinely, genuinely hope. Experience economy will go up. Experience economy will go up. More importantly, people will not be lonely and they will find their social skills back. Thank you so much. Hello. Hello, sir. How are you? How have you been? Lovely seeing you. Pleasure seeing you.
