1:02Hey guys, Graham here. It's Friday, which means we get to share with you another one of our most popular clips from a past interview. What you're about to listen to is trending this week on our Facebook page. Hope you enjoy.

1:18I wanted to start off by talking to you about something that I'd imagine most people don't know about, just how talented a football player you were growing up.

1:27Jesse James:What schools did you get scholarship offers from? Every Division I school in the country. Wow. At the time, outside linebackers wasn't a big plethora of them. Lawrence Taylor was that kind of size. It was awesome, like 6 '3", 240, fast. I was all of those. A big, fat white boy was pretty rare. you know and I could run I had like a 4 6 5 40 and then I could run like a 4 7 backwards you know and so I had all the right pieces I just like kind of nullified all of it with my right non-discipline lifestyle that was not football what were your goals at that point football wise when you're getting all these scholarship offers I don't really know that I had anything I didn't have anything to I mean did you want to play pros eventually oh yeah totally yeah and I saw myself doing it and I I think I was big and fast enough that I could like it wasn't really a pipe dream so much so that I never had anything to fall back on you know every oh make sure you get I don't care about school right like you know or any of that stuff how often would you have to bring out your birth certificate when you were ever every game every Saturday morning like Like Pop Warner, which it was RJ TFL, which is Riverside Junior Taco Football League.

2:57Jesse James:Every game I had to bring my birth certificate. Really? Yeah. And like it was pretty like the negative press didn't start five years ago or whatever. It started like when I was in my early teens, you know, 10, 11, 12 years old when I started. I mean, I was like 13. I had like a goatee. Like I look like I like as old as I do now, like very early on. What would parents say? they were just like pissed you know like uh you know i mean partly because i would just like dominate kids and like but there was also some other tough kids there too you know but uh they'd take like razor blades make the refs take i had those early bike like arm pads they'd like make them slice holes in them because parents complained i filled my pan pads with sand and then to have to have my birth certificate and then it's just like it was it was probably like a glory for me then right like I didn't what positions did you play uh in like all pop warner from when I was seven eight years old until my senior year in college I played offensive tackle, defensive end, middle linebacker, and all the special teams.

4:17Jesse James:Like, I would never come off the field. You don't wash your jersey during a win streak. You don't switch seats when your team's up big. And you definitely don't shave during the playoffs. When things are working, you don't change them. That's why when you drink Jägermeister, you drink it ice cold. Anything else? Well, that'd just be bad luck. Drink it cold or don't drink it at all. Jägermeister. Damn, that's cold. Drink responsibly. Jägermeister liqueur, 35 % alcohol by volume. Imported by Masked Jägermeister, U.S. White Plains, New York.

4:50No one goes to Hank's for his spreadsheets. They go for a darn good pizza. Lately, though, the shop's been quiet, so Hank decides to bring back the$1 slice. He asks Copilot in Microsoft Excel to look at his sales and costs to help him see if he can afford it. Copilot shows Hank where the money's going and which little extras make the dollar slice work. Now Hank's has a line out the door. Hank makes the pizza. Copilot handles the spreadsheets. Learn more at m365copilot.com slash work. High school, your freshman year, what do you do to your star upper class quarterback who sucker punched you in the hallway in one of your first practices?

5:33Jesse James:Roger Peble, he walked by me and like elbowed me. Bam. Just in the hallway. Just in the hallway. Like elbowed me super hard in the ribs. And I just like, I remember like I never made eye contact. And I just like went, I mean it hurt. And like came close to knocking the window out of me. But he was like, I don't remember what he said. He said something because he had some friends around him. And he was trying to be a tough guy. And then I just like kind of stumbled and just kept walking. like i remember i like clenched up and then just never broke stride i'm like okay but you're the young guy too he's the yeah and like he's the like captain right you know like you know the type the type with his uh letterman's jacket like kind of bottom button and it's kind of pushed back you know that kind of dude with custom hair like i just so what'd you do at the football field i think i was playing defense and i like ran in and like sacked him and i just like like it was like just just got him down i like held his face mask and just punched him on like lifted it up and punched him in his jaw like in and like everywhere i could hit and not hit my hand and like he was almost like to the point of tears and everybody was like stunned and shocked and that like set the tone for my whole high school experience as always thanks for listening to see more trending clips for my team go to youtube.com slash graham bensinger
