In short

The episode is a satirical, highly critical rundown of Donald Trump’s UK trip, arguing it showed physical decline and political incompetence while triggering chaos at home. The host claims Trump sought UK pomp to secure support for Ukraine, but “didn’t even see” what was happening; they also allege Trump’s actions included FCC pressure on Disney/ABC and corporate media “bending the knee.” Key claims include: ABC permanently suspended Jimmy Kimmel after he “spoke the truth” about Charlie Kirk; Sinclair/Nexstar canceled Kimmel’s show; Trump designated Antifa a terrorist organization; and Trump’s “free speech” promises are hypocrisy. Notable examples cited: FCC chair Brendan Carr praising broadcasters; Nextstar/Tegna merger leverage; and an FBI Cash Patel hearing about Epstein files.

2:29Ben Meiselas:What a disastrous trip this was for Donald Trump in the UK. I mean, just look at him right there. Zoom in on him. You see his face right there. What's going on with Melania? She covering her face with that ridiculous hat of hers, like a flying saucer on her head. Then you had Donald Trump dressed in whatever this tuxedo is as the king of the UK, King Charles, tried to roll out all of this kind of pomp and circumstance in order to basically get Donald Trump to support Ukraine. And Donald Trump didn't even see what the hell was happening. Donald Trump just like being carried in a golden carriage right there.

3:10Ben Meiselas:And again, look how sickly he looks in the golden carriage. Then there was this other photo right here of Trump with the royal family and Kirsten. Zoom in on his hand right there. Oh my gosh, what the hell is going on? Zoom in on the hand. You see the hand is just decomposing and rotting before our very eyes. And while Donald Trump was in the UK, there were protests in London. Shout out to all of the Midas Mighty in London for showing up to those protests. Great work over there. There were protests in Windsor. People were all over the UK not liking that their taxpayer dollars were being spent on this ridiculous charade.

3:54Ben Meiselas:We feel you. But y 'all want to take him for a little bit? Y 'all want to keep him out of here? Let's just send him to Russia. Maybe we'll just both send him to Russia together so he could be with his boy Vlad. All right. Let's talk, though, for real, about horrifically dangerous things Donald Trump was doing while he was in the UK. He got his FCC chairman or commissioner to basically threaten Disney ABC. And then you had the companies that carry the affiliates like Sinclair and Nexstar. They basically canceled the Jimmy Kimmel show because Jimmy Kimmel spoke the truth about Charlie Kirk. What Jimmy Kimmel said wasn't even offensive.

4:37Ben Meiselas:I went through the transcript of what Jimmy Kimmel said. I don't even understand what was wrong about what Jimmy Kimmel said. He was like, MAGA spent the weekend trying to convince the world that the shooter was not one of theirs. And here's what, and then he goes like, here's what Donald Trump said when he was at the White House, when he was asked how he's grieving about Charlie Kirk, then they go play the clip. And then it was just Donald Trump asked about Charlie Kirk. And then Donald Trump's like, but do you see the ballroom I'm building? Let's talk about the ballroom. I'm done talking about Charlie Kirk.

5:09Ben Meiselas:Like that's it. Like that's what Jimmy Kimmel said that they're saying was grounds for firing Kimmel, which is just utterly ridiculous. And now ABC Disney's permanently suspended him. Is he fully fired? By the way, go to our sub stack Midas plus dot com. I did a whole article. I did a letter to Jimmy Kimmel and I said, Jimmy, join the Midas touch network. We've got six million subscribers here. You can say whatever you want to say. We actually support free speech at the Midas Touchdown. Go to MidasPlus.com after this video and check out the open letter I did to Jimmy Kimmel. I think it's pretty cool.

5:45Ben Meiselas:But after ABC Disney announced that it was basically suspending and canceling the Jimmy Kimmel show over speaking the truth about Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump posts great news for America. The ratings challenge Jimmy Kimmel show is canceled. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has zero talent and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that's possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC, President DJT. So now he wants Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers as well. By the way, you go and look at the history of when Putin took power.

6:29Ben Meiselas:You'll see the Putin impersonators and all the comics in Russia were either killed, tortured, threatened, fled, because this is what authoritarians do. They can't handle jokes. And the issue is, like, we hoped that other leaders, especially where Trump's approval is in the freaking toilet bowl. It's worse now than it was during his first term. It's the worst approval in modern presidential history by far. It's not even close. Yet you have corporations bending the knee to this vile piece of trash. Act with moral clarity. You know what moral clarity is? Looking in the camera and saying Donald Trump is a piece of trash.

7:15That's moral clarity because it's true. Want me to be clearer? Want me to peel that piece of trash onion and make it clearer for you? Donald Trump is a disgusting felon. Okay. He was found criminally responsible for 34 felony counts. He deserves to be in prison right now, in my opinion, not in the Oval Office, turning it into some weird yellow golden bordello. Donald Trump is a sexual abuser. He is a sexual predator. He was found civilly liable for sexual assault. You know how sick of a human being he is? He said it hurt his reputation when George Stephanopoulos of ABC used the R word to refer to what Donald Trump was found liable.

8:02When Donald Trump was found liable for using his finger, Donald Trump said, how dare you say genitals? It was my finger that I used to sexually assault as found by a federal jury. That's what a sick, disgusting thing he is. Also, he's a bankruptor. He's bankrupted many a company over and over again. He's a lifelong loser. He's a draft dodger. That's moral clarity. You call it out. You do it fearlessly. And if that piece of trash wants to sue me, I look forward to taking his deposition. I'm not going to even file a motion to dismiss. I'd answer. I send a deposition notice. I put him in front of me.

8:42I start putting him under oath right away. That's what you do. That's how you act with moral clarity. Consequences be damned. In this moment, people want fighters, fighters for democracy, for empathy, for love, for community, for bringing people together. Yet our corporate media bends the knee and fires people like Jimmy Kimmel, fires great reporters. What the hell are you doing?

9:09Ben Meiselas:And then Donald Trump posts this while he's in the UK. I'm pleased to inform our many USA patriots that I'm designating Antifa a sick, dangerous, radical left disaster as a major terrorist organization. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding Antifa be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention to this. Antifa is like not a real group. Antifa is like some concept that they've made up of people who are anti-fascist. Anti-fascist are the bad guys to the fascist. They made up this group and you're Antifa, you're Antifa, you're Antifa.

9:48So they could come up and get annoyed at their own kind of fake enemy that they've created. Oh, and now they're going to do what government purges. We're not stupid. We know you want to do what Putin does. Use Antifa as your pretext to go after leftists and radicals and all the people who you are just inventing in your minds when y 'all are the ones who are using the violent rhetoric and dividing our country over and over again. By the way, does everybody remember when Donald Trump said over and over again, I've banned all government censorship and restored free speech? Oh yeah, we've got the receipts here.

10:27Ben Meiselas:Play this clip. And I banned all government censorship and restored free speech in America. We have free speech. We didn't have free speech. Or you remember back on January 23rd, 2025, when Donald Trump says, I'm pleased to report again, America is a free nation once again. And on day one, I signed an executive order to stop all government censorship. This is what these people do, Right. They are the ones who are engaged in the censorship, in the fascist authoritarian conduct. But then they project out on their enemy people who want peace, people who want us, who want democracy, want empathy and love.

11:07Here's when Donald Trump said it on January 23rd, 2025. In addition, I'm pleased to report that America is also a free nation once again. On day one, I signed an executive order to stop all government censorship. No longer will our government label the speech of our own citizens as misinformation or disinformation, which are the favorite words of censors and those who wish to stop the free exchange of ideas. This is the FCC chairman and commissioner, Brendan Carr, saying, I want to thank Nextstar. And then also there was Sinclair for doing the right thing. Local broadcasters have an obligation to serve the public interest.

11:47Ben Meiselas:While this may be an unprecedented decision to fire Jimmy Kimmel, it's important for broadcasters to push back on Disney programming that they determine fall short of community values. I hope that other broadcasters follow Nextstar's lead. And then he sends this meme to a reporter, Brian Stelter, when he asked FCC Chair Brendan Carr if he had any comment on ABC pulling Jimmy Kimmel's show. He does a meme of the actors in the office raising the roof. Also behind this, just so you know, is Nextstar wants to merge with its rival Tegna and control all of the local affiliate stations. Nextstar owns like two dozen plus ABC affiliates.

12:31Tegna owns a lot. Sinclair owns a lot. But Nextstar needs approval by the Trump regime FCC of its merger with Tegna. And so do you see how this all falls in place? Also, Sinclair is demanding that Jimmy Kimmel make a donation to Charlie Kirk's family. And then maybe they'll consider bringing the show back. They make a donation to Charlie Kirk's family, issue a public apology for what? Like Kimmel didn't say anything wrong. He didn't say anything bad. He barely said anything at all about it. Frankly, I went back. I was like, am I missing something that Kimmel said? Did he say something that crossed the line?

13:09No. And by the way, Charlie Kirk was not a good person when he was alive. Like he really wasn't. And I don't know how he was with his family. And, you know, I feel bad as a dad myself. I'm heartbroken by what happened. I condemn violence. I'm heartbroken in the sense that he's got a wife and he has children. And it's that this was never the answer. Violence is never the answer. This 22 year old white kid from Utah, from a religious family, a gun toting family, a Trump-supporting MAGA family that raised this internet-obsessed individual. It is heartbreaking, condemned violence. There's no place for it.

13:48The Trump regime wants to use it as pretext to purge their political enemies. When Trump was asked about the death of Charlie Kirk, he wants to talk about the ballroom. And that's all Kimmel pointed out. Kimmel could have pointed out that Charlie Kirk has said so many anti-black statements before, anti-Hispanic statements, anti-gay, anti-LGBTQ, saying the Civil Rights Act was a mistake calling for Biden to be executed. There's a litany of horrible, atrocious things that Charlie Kirk said. But Kimmel didn't bring any of that up. He just said, basically, here's what Donald Trump said. I mean, how ridiculous is that?

14:27So then on Fox, they're realizing Americans are pissed. By the way, I think right and left and center, red state, purple, this regime is clearly intruding on free speech, which is absolutely anathema to this. I mean, I don't care if you don't like Kimmel, you shouldn't be cheering on a comic getting kicked off for, I don't even think it was a joke. It was like a mild, very true statement. What are we talking about? But watch what Sean Hannity he says here. Here, play this clip. Now, the left already, starting with Humpty Dumpty, fake news, CNN, J.B. Pritzker, Gavin Newsom, predictably claiming this is conservative censorship.

15:09The MAGA crowd, Donald Trump got Jimmy Kimmel. That is false. I can't find a single prominent conservative voice in the country that even remotely wanted or hoped or was pushing to You get Jimmy Kimmel taken off the air. Nobody, it just was simple. People change the channel. And then these sociopaths like J.D. Vance go on TV. You know, he does the hand seat. It's like, you know, he's wearing the eyeliner. I mean, the guy's got so much makeup on and eyeliner. It was such a weird look. These are weird humans. Sorry, these are weird people. And then J.D. Vance is like, you don't call other people Nazis.

15:51You went, by the way, J.D., okay, sure, agreed. You're the one who called Trump Hitler. You said he's America's Hitler. That was your quote. That was you. That was you who did it, JD. Here, play this clip. This rhetoric is completely out of control, and it's part of this entire network of violence that exists on the far left.

16:11Ben Meiselas:I want to bring it back to what Democratic Congress member Jim McGovern said here on the floor, because I thought this was a particularly powerful speech. Let's play it. Mr. Speaker, I just had the general lady that that's a lot of words to justify the biggest tax increase on the American people on average of$2 ,300 a year more because of these tariffs. But I would just say to the General Lady as well that if you think that these policies are great, if you want these tariffs to continue, then you shouldn't be afraid to vote for them. Have a debate on the floor and let people vote up or down on them.

16:46I don't understand why that is such a controversial thing to want to advocate for, especially in the House of Representatives, where we're supposed to be able to debate important issues. And that's all people, you know, if you have the votes, if everybody thinks it's a great policy, then they all vote yes, and they continue. But I'm glad the general lady brought up the economy, because I want to speak about the economy just for a couple of minutes here. Mr. Speaker, the consequences of Trump's economic policy are being felt in communities across the country. Prices on fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry and dairy are all up.

17:24And they're likely to climb even higher as Trump's tariffs ripple through the supply chain. President Trump and Republicans promised to reduce grocery prices. Instead, grocery prices spiked at the fastest pace in three years last month. They promised to cut electricity prices in half. Instead, August electricity prices were over 6 % higher than they were a year ago. They promised to reduce inflation. Instead, we saw the largest monthly increase in inflation since January. They promised to create jobs. And instead, for the first time in nearly four years, the economy lost jobs in June. We lost jobs in June.

18:05And job growth has been stagnant for months. Mr. Speaker, the Trump economy is not working for the American people. But do you know who it is working for, Mr. Speaker? The millionaires and the billionaires who contributed to his campaign.

18:21Ben Meiselas:And finally, as a reminder, I've done a lot of videos on this, but that FBI Cash Patel hearing in the House of Representatives was something else. I mean, Cash Patel, as he was being cross-examined by Democrats about his cover-up of Donald Trump's dark past. He wouldn't even say how many times Trump was on the Epstein files. He said that Epstein was like a lone wolf. He wouldn't answer basic questions about, did you tell Pam Bondi or Trump that they were on, that he was on the list? What were your conversations? It was humiliating to watch. And then to watch the Republicans block all of the subpoenas that went out, that could have gone out to get information on Epstein, block it for Donald Trump because Trump says, if you don't, this is a direct quote for Trump, a direct quote.

19:11If you don't basically block all of the Epstein stuff, if you don't block it, it's a hostile act. That's what the regime put out. It's a hostile act to find out what happened to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and who else, which other rich men oligarchs out there are out there being predators. Anyway, here's this part where Congress member Swalwell cross-examined Cash

19:36Ben Meiselas:Patel here. Play this clip. You said you don't know the number of times Trump's name appears in the files, so it could at least be a thousand times. Is that right? The number is a total misleading factor. We have not released anyone's name in the Epstein file that has not been credible. We have released every piece of legally permissible information. You can characterize the numbers however you want it. Reclaiming my time, director. It sounds like if you don't know the number, it could at least be a thousand times. It's not. It's not. Is it at least 500 times? No. Is it at least 100 times? No.

20:11Then what's the number? I don't know the number, but it's not that. Do you think it might be your job to know the number? My job is to provide for the safety and security of this country. My job is not to engage in political endow so you can go out to the sticks and get your 20 second hit in your fundraising article. Keep going, reclaiming your time because the people of California are being underserved by your representation. If the president is not implicated, why not release everything that involves. We have released everything, the president and anyone else's side, that is credible and lawfully be able to be released.

20:43Your fixation on this matter and baseless accusations that I'm hiding is disgusting. Anyone that says that needs to look at the stats alone and go back to the state of California who's receiving the biggest surge in FBI resources through my redeployment because Because the cities of Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco need it. Remembering your oath to tell the truth, did you ever tell Donald Trump his name is in the files? I have never spoken to President Trump about the Epstein files.

21:11Ben Meiselas:There you have it, folks. Let me know what you think. Hit subscribe. Let's get to 6 million.
