In short
Konstantin Kisin argues that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is politically “finished” after the Peter Mandelson–Jeffrey Epstein scandal, and uses it to claim Labour’s broader weaknesses: lack of talent, electoral vulnerability, and fear of the Muslim vote.

Both times I walked into a shop, lay on it for about four seconds and thought, yeah, that'll do. Genuinely world-class decision making, which is crazy because you spend a third of your life on the thing and most of us buy one the way you'd buy a toaster. Today's sponsor is Avocado Green Mattress. Certified organic mattresses. No polyurethane foam anywhere near them, just natural materials and they're handmade. The bit that actually got me is you don't have to buy it blind. Avocado has real showrooms plus retail partners across the US. So you can go in, lie down properly, not for four seconds, and work out if it actually suits you before you pay for it.
0:39Konstantin Kisin:They're not everywhere yet, so check the store locator for what's actually near you. Avocado products are made, not manufactured, and thoughtfully crafted with real materials to deliver lasting comfort and support. You can experience them in person at an avocado showroom or a premier retailer near you. Or shop online at avocadogreenmattress.com slash trigger to check out their mattresses and furniture sale. That's avocadogreenmattress.com slash trigger. avocadogreenmattress.com slash trigger. Right, I'm going to level with you. I'm not a gamer, even though I look like one. I'm not going to pretend I've been grinding through RPGs between recordings, or that I have strong opinions about which Final Fantasy was the best one.
1:22Konstantin Kisin:I think it's Japanese and I think there's a sword. That's genuinely everything I know. But our social media guys showed me this app and I genuinely thought, that's quite clever. It's called Snacksy. Basically, game publishers need new players and they're willing to pay to get them. Snacksy just passes that money onto you. You play games you were probably going to play anyway. You own coins and you cash them out for real rewards. PayPal, Amazon, Netflix, gift cards. If you prefer gaming credit, you can redeem for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and Nintendo or cash out your Ineba wallet. I've got no idea what that means.
1:56Konstantin Kisin:Actual money, not just points that expire. It takes a few minutes to set up. You open the app, swipe through the game offers, pick something that looks decent, play it, earn, redeem. That's the whole thing. There's a sign-up bonus worth up to$10 if you use our link, which is in the description of this episode. That's S-N-A-K-Z-Y, SnackSync. Click the link in the description to get started. And when you sign up, use the code TRIGGERPOD. That's T-R-I-G-G-E-R-P-O-D to claim your$10 bonus. And the app is mobile only, so click the link from your phone, not your laptop.
2:37Francis Foster:Keir Starmer is finished, but what have we learned from the Mandelson and Epstein affair?
2:46Francis Foster:Revelations that Prime Minister Keir Starmer appointed Peter Mandelson as Britain's ambassador to the US despite knowing that he'd maintained his friendship with sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein have had and will continue to have a series of long-running consequences. First and most obviously, Starmer's goose is cooked. He will likely survive the week for the very same reason he's extremely unlikely to survive the year. His rivals can read the tea leaves. As I predicted in the wake of Starmer's supposed landslide, which was in reality merely the British public punishing the Tories without any enthusiasm for Labour whatsoever, things were inevitably going to get worse for Labour with every day they spent in power.
3:26Francis Foster:The pretenders to Starmer's wobbly throne know they're likely to get trounced in the Gorton and Denton by-election later this month, having hemorrhaged votes to reform and the Greens emerging Green-Green Alliance, on which more later. They also know that local government, mayoral, as well as Scottish and Welsh parliamentary elections are coming in early May. A scapegoat will be needed to explain the inevitable disaster that will unfold for Labour at those elections. Why depose Starmer now only to be fed into the Mincer for his mistakes a few months down the line? This is why the odds for Starmer leaving vary so widely between him leaving in the next couple of months, unlikely, and leaving by the end of the year, very likely as high as 70 odd percent in some cases.
4:10Francis Foster:Secondly, and equally obviously, this entire scandal confirms something that anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear already knew. Labour is utterly devoid of talent. Even a weak and damaged prime minister will linger on because his potential replacements are, hard as that may be to believe, even less impressive. Indeed, his appointment of Mandelson was itself a symptom of the same problem. The Labour Party is so sure of serious operators that appointing a convicted pedophile's best friend seemed like a good idea. David Lammy, who in opposition described President Trump as a tyrant and a woman-hating neo-nazi sympathizing sociopath, was this country's foreign secretary, whose most important job was to establish a productive working relationship with the U.S.
4:53Francis Foster:administration. Most of Labour's front bench should be stacking shelves at Lidl. Instead, they're running the country. Finally, and still equally obviously, the fallout from the Mandelson-Epstein episode has revealed in writing something that we all knew logically but had not previously heard a senior Labour figure say out loud. They are terrified of the Muslim vote. In an attempt to distance themselves from Mandelson, Health Secretary West Street and released their private WhatsApp exchanges. Hidden among these was a telling comment. Quote, I fear we're in big trouble here and I am toast at the next election.
5:26Francis Foster:We just lost our safest ward in Redbridge, 51 % Muslim, Ilford South, to a Gaza independent. At this rate, I don't think we'll hold either of the two Ilford seats. There isn't a clear answer to the question, why Labour? End quote. Labour's chickens are coming home to roost. For years, they fostered, encouraged, and profited from religious sectarianism. A significant number of the seats they hold were won by on-block Muslim votes. Labour naively believed that these votes would stay with them no matter what, provided they continued to say and do nothing to offend this community. Their silence on grooming gangs, their failure to ban the Muslim Brotherhood, and their aggressive push to criminalize thought crime under the guise of combating Islamophobia are just some of the surface consequences.
6:12Francis Foster:The problem, as they have discovered, is that unlike the Labour Party, whose only guiding principle is political expediency, the Muslim community has a clear and well-defined political agenda. Any delusions about this should have evaporated in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war when it became clear that the overwhelming majority of British Muslims view themselves as part of the Ummah, a transnational Muslim community first and British second. It's not exactly surprising given that allegiance to the Ummah is directly prescribed in the Quran. This is why constituencies with high Muslim populations have elected a number of so-called Gaza independents, i.e.
6:49Francis Foster:candidates whose primary concern is an issue that has very little to do with Britain at all. All of them unseated Labour MPs, by the way. Labour's reliance on this small but highly concentrated voting bloc unraveled quickly in the wake of October the 7th. The Gaza tale had grown accustomed to wagging the Labour dog and became outraged when Starmer failed to adopt the most extreme anti-Israel position possible. A new dog had to be found. Enter Zach Polanski. Across Britain, a green-green alliance is emerging whereby deluded blue-haired extinction rebellion types are joining forces with Muslim voters to defeat Labour.
7:25Francis Foster:The short-term appeal of this unlikely coalition for both movements is clear. The Green Party gets a large cohesive voting bloc to lift it out of political irrelevance. For the Muslim vote, this is an excellent vehicle to force the Labour government into even more extreme forms of pandering. If this sounds scary and depressing, worry not. As I've talked about before, that things are so bad is in fact good news. When Starmer goes, he'll be replaced by somebody worse. That being the case, it's hard to see how we avoid an early election. The only question is whether an effective opposition will have formed by the time one takes place.
8:00Francis Foster:That remains to be seen. If you enjoy these videos, remember that they're available as articles on my sub stack days, weeks, sometimes months ahead of time. So head on over to ConstantinKissen.com and subscribe today. As you know, I've been concerned about both the economic and political direction of travel of Western countries in recent years. That being the case, I'm keen to protect my family in case things continue to get worse. That's why I'm making sure to keep a portion of my savings in gold. The reason the price of everything continues to go up is that governments keep printing money. When they do, inflation is inevitable.
8:35Francis Foster:What does inflation mean? It's just a fancy word for the value of your money being diluted over time. This is what's happened to the value of the dollar in our lifetimes. Gold is a great way to preserve the fruit of your hard work while the value of your dollars, pounds, and euros is continually being eroded. My gold dealer, The Pure Gold Company, works across the world providing excellent service and competitive prices. I recently bought some of these Victoria Sovereigns. The good thing about these coins is that unlike many investments, they're exempt from capital gains tax. The Pure Gold Company keep my coins in a vault for me, but they can also deliver them to your home.
