Key claims
The Amy Brummett episode is still being scheduled due to remote/technical issues; listeners’ questions will be collected. The hosts share that they found Amy via her YouTube presence and her website.
Notable examples
Halloween outings (immersive, family-friendly “escape room” style); horror movie recommendations (It, Rose Red, The Stand, etc.); ghost encounters including a haunted condominium with roommate noises and a haunted apartment/hallway; a theory that medical examiner work may dull sensitivity to “signs.”

Hello and welcome back to Something About the Ice. We have kind of a different episode for you today. It's just going to be a little bit of a check-in and I'm here with my group as usual for our very own behind the scenes podcast. So a big hello to podcast Trent Shumway, Kyle and Brian. So glad we're here, guys. Thank you. Glad to be here. So just a little update for our friends and for our listeners. we are still working to get scheduled that very special episode that Brian posted on our socials.
1:02And that's going to be with Miss Amy Brummett, who is a pretty fantastic and very exciting person. I don't want to give too much away, but I am going to read just a little bit of her bio so that our listeners know what's coming. And we're working to find a perfect time that we can all record and we'll get that to you at a later date. But Miss Brummett is an explorer, a scholar, an artist, an educator, a conservationist, a mariner, and an adventurer. So she's pretty busy. She has journeyed to more than 100 countries across the globe and worked in some of the most challenging and beautiful places on earth.
1:37She's collaborated with renowned organizations, including National Geographic, Habitat for Humanity, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. But that actually only scratches the surface. When we have time with Ms. Brummett, she's going to share a little bit about all of those things that she's done, all of the places she's been, but the one that we are most excited about was her time on the ice. She spent multiple seasons living and working at every U.S. Antarctic research station, McMurdo, Palmer, and of course, the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station. We can't wait to talk to Ms. Bremit. We can't wait to ask her your listener questions.
2:12But for today, just a little bit of chit-chat with us. And as always, Thanks for listening and supporting the show. Yes. Thank you, everyone. So gentlemen, have you guys started putting your questions together for when we do get to talk to Amy? I submitted mine. I did see yours, Brian. So we, we got, we got some good questions from, from the listeners and I wanted to make sure because I, I have a ton of questions, but I don't want to dominate, you know, I don't want this to be the Brian and, you know, Amy Brumett episode. So I was like, if I had one question, here's the one question. So I did submit that and I get it in.
2:53But yeah, let's, I just want to, I want to give everyone a heads up. So today was supposed to be the day. It is September 26th. We're currently recording and, and my, my, my hat is off to, to, you know, podcast, Trent Shumway and Kyle. They are on the West coast. They got their self-self at 7 in the morning, which is earlier than I like to have my voice actors come in. But they made that sacrifice. Amy, we're hoping everything is fine. She is remote international, so the connections might be an issue. But with that said, we are looking very forward to it. I was hoping it was going to be today, but it will be hopefully within the next couple of weeks.
3:38um i've talked enough let me let other people talk well we've run into some technical difficulties but it it doesn't mean difficulties uh it doesn't mean it won't happen in the future and and to be completely honest no with a resume like that i have to be completely honest i i can't come up with a question for this one i'm literally just going to rely on instincts and hopefully you know be able to to volley back and forth a little bit uh but i'm fascinated to hear her story i mean yeah what aaron just rattled off it's like that sounds like three lifetimes i know right like it should be seven different people did all of that yeah this kid who barely has a high school education is not going to be asking any brain busters that she can't just go i yes i wear pants and skirts trent thank you for asking oh okay it's good to know it's cold out there brian i think we should we should only ever record 7 a.m for our west coast friends because kyle is almost being nice to me today and i just want to capitalize on that and keep the momentum you know we got about we got about t-15 before i can start rattling off if you want to keep getting it in there and you can that's where the folgers kicks in yeah dude i don't even touch the folgers i stayed up all night for this what are you talking about 7 a.m i'm gonna wake up at 7 a.m i just went to bed at 6 my poor west coast friends yeah we'll be all right don't make it work i am i am beyond excited you know for for coming up on five years now we have only you know fantasized and you know played pretend in a setting that she is actually you know boots on the ground yeah she has walked those halls lived in ate that food we don't walk those hovels um you know it just i i cannot wait to actually hear someone who hasn't been there i can just tell us you know what what what does not convey over youtube tour videos or a description that you read online or in a book how did you find her brian like how did you guys get connected so that we could even set this up So every so often, I'll just go on to the aforementioned YouTube, NeverRedditKyle, and just look for – I'll sometimes re-watch tours that I've watched before.
6:01And then every so often, a new person will come showing a lot of the same stuff I've seen before. But once I saw Amy, her videos were – I'd say more snippets. They were about 30 seconds each. But she was showing the A-Pod. She was showing Ops. She was showing, you know, the science labs. And I said, hey, you know, this is a new person. She had, I think she hasn't been down there for a few years, but let me just, I'm going to reach out like I will occasionally do with others. And, you know, sure enough, I didn't think that she was going to respond because no one else has. But sure enough, she's like, hey, you know, yeah, I'd be happy.
6:40Just how did you find me? I'm like, oh, well, if you go, you know, here's your YouTube. And then if you just put in Amy Brumett.com, took me right to your website. So I'd love to say that I'm an incredible investigative sleuth, but no, I just, I kind of A to B. I can't wait to hear. Oh, go ahead, Kyle. Oh no, no, no, please. I was just going to say, I can't wait to hear like how she got started and then how all of these different things that she's done have connected. Like what that, you know what I mean? I don't know what the turn is like, not journey line, but like you go on one adventure and it leads to another adventure which is in a totally different direction it's just it's such a variation of things that she's done truly and then to like spend time on the ice is a very random thing it's super cool but i don't think there's a lot of people in the world that have done that well and there's still this right now like how do those dots connect yeah it's like you go from like royal shakespeare academy right you know like congo it's like are you just throwing a dart at the map what are you doing like how do you how do to get to there that's fascinating i love it really is can we just start calling her carmen san diego do you know how many references let's say we got a theme song booted up ready for it where in the world is it did we talk about carmen san diego the last time we recorded too i feel like i've had a lot of conversations about carmen san diego lately i don't remember no maybe it was somebody at work i do call a friend of mine at work that because every time i talk to him he's like oh i'm in new zealand but i'll be back in the office next week i'm like we don't we don't go to new zealand what are you doing out there if memory serves i think she's also been to the arctic not just the antarctic as well i mean i think she i was on her tiktok this morning i think she might have been there fairly recently because it looked like that was one of her unless it was a promoted video i did just a quick scan you know what do you want me to drop her socials in now yes yeah would you yeah for sure that'd be great i would do it right now but then you'll hear the background in the recording so i'll do it right after we finish recording perfect perfect ryan do you want me to drop her socials here now i mean we'll promote it again when we get to talk to her but for any of our listeners that want to kind of do their research before um so i do encourage you to follow her socials i followed a few of them this morning and she's just very cool so her instagram is brummit roams on facebook it's amy brummit and that's amy amy uh tiktok is at aj brum aj brum she's on substack at amy brummit.substack.com and on youtube at amy brummit and she also noted in some of the correspondence that you can find all of these on her website which is amybrummit.com that's a-m-y-b-r-u-m-m-i-t.com um so any of our listeners i do encourage you to check her information out and we'll promote that when we get a chance to talk with her as well i'll put it in the show notes as well for the podcast when it drops because she did specifically request that so happy to do it yeah very very cool send me that myspace as well i want to see who's in the top eight i mean do you ever completely jumping sideways but do you ever think about how pathologic it was that we had an entire era where we ranked our friends publicly oh i still do it i would love to do that i've never got i've never gotten away from it yeah also your phone do you remember like the phone plans you could have like your favorite five that you could talk to for free but you had to pay to talk to everybody else oh man imagine you're mad at your partner and you drop them out of your top five you're like i can't answer the text because it's going to cost us money i'd love to continue this conversation but yeah you're you're hovering around number seven right now i'm on a very fixed budget and it ain't looking great yeah moving down to 10 all right so we are we are close to one of our favorite seasons real quick like how does everyone like to celebrate the spooky season aaron you had before we uh fired off the recording you were just telling us about a family excursion that you just did with your kids, which sounds amazing.
10:57I'm kind of jealous. If you wouldn't mind sharing that with the listeners and then tell us how you do like to spend your spooky time. Perfect. Yeah. And great question too. Yes. My husband and I took the kids yesterday to this like immersive Halloween experience. And so my, my son is only five, so we don't do like scary, scary stuff for him. It was more spooky. I can hear my, I can hear feedback on myself sorry that's why it's because it's spooky time and because it's spooky it's actually the ghost in my recording equipment please turn down her snare please it was it was fun though because it was kind of like an escape room but not really you didn't actually have to solve clues you just kind of wandered room to room and it was a lot of like holograms but there was no like jumping out which would have terrified my kid um that was super fun i do like halloween but my kids are young enough that we don't do a lot of scary stuff i think my daughter being in middle school this year i could convince her to watch a scarier movie or go to like a haunted house or something um but we do more like autumn really i mean i love halloween but more autumn stuff yeah yeah family family friendly over here family friendly is great yeah what about you guys as a kid like we because i grew up in the in the middle of nowhere there was there was no trick-or-treating uh but our school always had a carnival and man you look forward to that thing the whole year because it was you still got dressed up you still got to see all your buddies there's still this candy uh but yeah the family friendly stuff like they had like me being a gigantic horror fan that i am and i love haunted houses and all that stuff but as a child like there wasn't that much horror films other than the classic ones on um because my parents were pretty conscious of like man we shouldn't probably watch texas chainsaw massacre around him but as I got older I recognized like yeah there always was a haunted house at our carnival I never went as a kid because oh yeah I was terrified oh my god I loved it as a kid oh I love it now because I've never grown up but and my kids now are just getting that point like both my daughters are big horror fans but don't want to do the spooky stuff my son this year wants to do uh with his friends like a either a halloween horror nights or there's there's this big one near us in thousand oaks that i'm going to try to take them to because it's it's like this really long maze and it just theme after theme after theme and it's just like one line you stand in and you do 40 minutes i think through this whole thing and it's like that's the best bang for your holiday buck in my opinion um but i yeah i love what love going to all the spirits love going to all the different little you know uh halloween horror night things and or the stuff that there's a place in burbank actually there's a whole block on burbank on mackinley boulevard that has like stuff that's up all year round but during the holiday season of course it's even more plentiful and it's cool uh but yeah it's where it's where we've been right exactly you took me there well yeah mystic museum all that mystic museum the halloween yeah love halloween 24 Not 24-7, but yeah, 350, just every day of the year.
14:02There is a gym on that block that is horror-themed now. I'm sure it's going to be short-lived. Aren't all gyms horror-themed? Exactly. Yeah, that is a horror location. No, they work out with mock chainsaws and bones and stuff. I feel like this is the next cast reunion needs to be over there. Right? Yeah. Yeah, for sure. what about you Kyle you know we we try to jam in as much like Halloween movies as we can um it starts my busy season generally October so yeah usually I only have like evenings excuse me got five minutes Aaron that's right we gotta hurry we gotta roll off well a little more in the fact um you know Kyle people don't know this but but for Kyle's work he actually runs drugs he's a narcos from uh you know venezuela and columbia to the u.s so i think you're gonna actually have a lot of time you're not taking a boat are you buddy don't take a boat no no no no we don't know but you know it's like that little the little plane like the american maid on tom cruise oh yes oh yeah that's good you're good so yeah but sorry season um kyle's gonna have 50 people outside his house in the next hour i thought you're gonna be like 50 people on instagram being like hey where's the hookup yeah i mean that's also possible can i get a family discount but yeah we try to watch as much halloween content as possible in fact literally just last night we watched uh the whole family minus minus my little guy who doesn't like the scary stuff yet um we watched the the first chapter of it oh yeah that's a really tim curry one yeah yeah we don't really believe the other it i'm with you i'm with you there are moments that are very very cool but yeah and maybe it's not for me yeah maybe it's the nostalgia talking but it it yeah nothing holds a candle to that you know the original yeah it was yeah for sure and madison was like this was on abc in 1990 yeah i'm like broadcast like different nights like let's do it like that like let's watch one half this night one half the next night so we got we got two coming up for us uh the second part of it coming up for us but yeah it's all it's all about the content i i love the the original king movies that were put out on abc the stand uh with um uh was it roblo yeah yeah uh it was yeah gary sneeze thank you um the guy that played the starfish guy uh yeah pat yeah uh dauber i think they're not not connected to our dauber um what was uh rose red oh i love rose red uh those are always great which is supposed to be a spielberg steven king collaboration it just didn't work out yeah i think i think you did tell me that i saw but uh now it's hbo not abc but uh welcome to dairy is coming out yep but it's it's with the the other it so it looks so it looks so good and then they look pretty wise and i'm like oh yeah well i mean i get it it's like you know the stuff that we grew up with uh frankenstein the wolfman you know dracula they all essentially are disposed of at the beginning or the end of each of those films and yet universal's like well that made us a lot of money you guys figure out a way to bring them back so i can't fault them for that horror's always kind of been that way where it's like yeah look you know the kid died we had him in the lake but he's coming back because we got some movies to pump out here every summer that's how it works that's how it works and dollar dollar bills exactly we we just my uh daughters and i uh just went and saw the long walk yesterday and they had a a trailer for yeah it's very good it's excellent it's it's not the feel-good movie uh that you're looking for not the family fair you want you want to bring the whole brood too but uh no of course there was a trailer for black phone too which i i hadn't seen the first one and my my daughter's just going they're bringing them back i'm like yeah when don't they bring them back but not everything needs a sequel no agreed totally agreed but i love the art form of letting something stand on its own and not touching it like if they ever made it they won't because it's been too long but if they ever made a sequel to princess bride i'm not saying it my favorite movie of all time i will say this the only redo of the princess bride that i will accept and i will not go to war is if they do it with muppets if they do it with muppets i am there i don't know how i feel about that but you know even then even then i don't know no it was a perfect film it was a perfect oh it is absolutely still is yeah and i've i've seen like the cast redo like during covid they had a couple yeah i'm sure you probably saw it too uh and then we i saw a certain senator just ruin that movie as he's quoting it oh my god up certain things should be sacred certain things yes sacred and I love that the cast rallied against him after the fact was like dude you got no love here that's right I don't know though there was a Muppet haunted mansion that I couldn't wait yeah just so so it didn't do homage to properly to the original it was just kind of I mean on paper it totally works and then you see it and you go meh better in thought than execution yes let me let me ask this you're all big horror fans but what about ghosts like ghosts like true ghost stories are you ghost people or not ghost people love them me too here here for it spook me out i've had an experience or two okay can you share or you don't want to i'll share if you want yeah go on uh we're scraping for content here script for content okay uh i have a friend who has a haunted condominium um i found this la thing i've ever heard in my life i found this out the hard way uh was we were working on a short film then we worked on a feature film together and as i was there there would be like some certain things happening he'd be like just just don't worry about it dude because i'm like hey what's going on with that and he's just like don't worry about it just don't worry about it and so eventually it's like you know no seriously what is this and he's like look if i tell you this you're going to be you know either you're going to think i'm nuts but yeah i got i kind of got a roommate if you know what i mean and so sure enough like he was on he it's a it's a townhouse actually so two stories his parents live right next to him uh and and then he was on the end and there is there's distance between his lot and the next like uh house or something which was probably there was an acre between them the reason i bring this up is at one point i am going over to his place he both he and his parents are on a vacation so i just go over check the mail make sure everything's cool you know and then and just kind of make sure everything's locked up and everything and then and then leave one night i decide to just because i'm working late i'll just eat my food there and take off after the fact.
21:16So there's nobody in his parents' place because I just checked. There's nobody in his place because I just checked. And I start to eat my food there. And then his roommate decides, now's a good time for you to leave because I don't want you here anymore. And starts making noises from upstairs and below. And I'm just like, and I froze there for a second. I could hear the sliding doors that he had in his bedroom just going back and forth. Oh my gosh. The cabinets slamming and stuff. so I leave toot sweet you know lock the place as and as I'm running around I had to go behind the thing to get to the parking lot to get into my car I can hear through his bedroom window as I pass by it it's still having a problem with me I get in my car and realize I forgot to lock his door I run back up lock it like throw the mail in there call my wife and and be like look uh I just experienced this thing and it's, it's insane.
22:11She's like, I want to see this. So the next, the next morning we have to do, we're going to my parents' place to visit them. So we're going to stop by his spot, pick up the mail and everything. And as soon as I opened the door, she makes a beeline through the house. And I'm, and I hear her go, Oh my God. And I'm expecting to walk around and see like a disembodied head floating there as my wife, she's going through his kitchen. He doesn't have any plates. He doesn't have any glasses. There's nothing in this fridge. Who lives like this? I'm like, different kind of haunting. He's like, where's the ghost?
22:46I'm like, well, I mean, considering you're chastising his, his homemaking, I think they probably left. It was like, Jesus. That was amazing. Yeah. I love that so much. How about you, Kyle? Any spooky encounters? You know, I think, I think the apartment that I came from in Sherman Oaks, before we moved during the pandemic. I think it had a haunt or two in there. The one you had for the party and everything? Oh, yeah, dude. So there was multiple people, multiple, you know, we used to pack that, you know, it was a shoebox at best, and we'd pack in, you know, 15 people for game nights and all that stuff.
23:23And you'd just have random people, you know, a week later be like, man, I got this weird feeling. I'm like, yeah, it's weird. There's this little hallway that, like, again, a shoebox. It led from like the living room to the one bathroom and both bedrooms that were there. And people just got weird vibes in it. And my daughter included, my wife included. And you'd hear a little, you hear a little weird noises and stuff. And you'd hear doors open and shut and things like that. Things would turn on and off. Things would, you know, it was crazy. It was wild. And at one point, it got so bad because, you know, my wife and my daughter, they told me about it.
24:00And I'm like, I'm not seeing it. I want to see it. I'm not seeing it. But then I want to say like, I forget now because it's been, you know, a lifetime ago pre COVID. But I want to say like, it was something that kept on turning on and off in my room. And I'm like, okay, all right, I see you. I see you. And then the next time, like, they went out to like, go get groceries, go do something, what have you. I'm like, hey, I don't know what you got going on here. but you're starting to freak everybody in this household out so if you could just take it on somewhere else just you know what i mean no harm no foul dad voice on the ghost i did i did dad voice the ghost i was like i don't like it anymore roll out my friend and then it kind of it kind of it kind of died down so but yeah it was it was creepy it's ghost tail between its legs went to haunt another family is that where Doyle's haunted toaster came from oh my god it was from your apartment in Sherman Oaks how could I have forgotten that subplot yeah unfortunately none of Doyle's conspiracy cavern came from my paranormal friends over there my gosh it was weird could it like right now right now no i think we're good okay i think we're okay i don't think it followed next week i mean who's following like look he's gonna stay in sherman oaks and not and not head up the the hour and a half and i can't blame a ghost for that you know what i mean yeah yeah brian what about you no it's it's and i told trent this before i had a a little stint where i wanted to be a paranormal investigator.
25:50That's so cool. When I was back in Virginia, there was a little group and went on a couple of things, but it just, no, I didn't. Didn't find anything. No, didn't see anything that really impressed me. I think my term was, yeah, this place is haunted as a Starbucks.
26:11Don't get me wrong. There are some rooms that really creep me out, whether it's in a house that's supposed to be haunted or not or just some random house i'm walking through and it's like yeah i'm getting you know oogie vibes from that that place um but now i've never never had a a direct experience um not to get corny or or you know to get you know oh you know i do feel like it could you know i do feel like when my son was born because my dad had passed away i feel like my dad was there um but yeah no it's you know as far as you know the the the you know the rattling chains or the the uh you know the slime on the wall or the blood that gets off on the second floor now i've just i've never had uh anything i've never had anything like that i've experienced my um when we travel because we we travel quite a lot i always know that kevin's like trying to get in my good books or trying to show me that he does actually love me by suggesting to go on ghost tours because that's not his thing that's my thing that's a good man right there oh he is he's the best y 'all have all met him he's the best but i mean we've done boston we've done cambridge we've done new orleans we did i think parrot i mean just different ones and i've never seen anything i do think that i've heard things and i do think that i've felt things but i've got a theory on this that i think my family well first of all i've shared with you all what my dad's profession was right i think i have and so for our listeners if i didn't share it on a recording um up until about a year ago when he retired my dad was the chief medical examiner in dallas texas and so obviously he worked he did autopsies he testified in court cases and so he was working around death all the time he would love nothing more than to see a ghost and his office was supposed to have been haunted and so i've got this theory that when you spend that much time that close to the veil, you kind of become immune to the signs and the sounds, right?
28:06It's why they say kids and animals can sense it, but you become more jaded as an adult and you just can't. So I think that those conversations were very commonplace in our home growing up. And so I think if I were around a spirit, I might not notice the things that someone else a little bit more sensitive or a little bit more removed would notice. But man, would I love to? I really would. there was a freelance gig i was doing in new york and uh the company that was setting me up they were putting they were putting me up as well and um they were like on the phone telling me well don't worry this isn't the the haunted one and i'm like i'm sorry and they go it's it's not the haunted one and i went what do you mean the haunted one like oh you haven't heard i said no and they said yeah well you know we've had some artists who claim that this thing is haunted like can it be the haunted one they're like no it's it's occupied i told that to my daughter she just goes why would you want to do that i'm like to see more proof are you kidding me come on she's like she's like you wouldn't sleep i'm like i don't sleep now as it is i might as well have some more knowledge of or who knows maybe have a ghost conversation or dad talk one who knows yeah the hotel that we had our reception and after we got married is one of the like top haunted locations in texas um it's also a really beautiful hotel i would have chosen it for the ghost we kind of globally chose it because it's a nice hotel um but like damned if i wasn't running around in my wedding dress like where's the woman in white i don't care i'm so extra i swear i imagine a lot of people seeing you with a disheveled kind of look on your face exactly chaotic bride just running up and down the hotel the rumor was that he left her at the altar there was a story um i remember there's a video on it it was at a convention where someone asked these two actors so in vancouver they were doing a ghost tour and this was about 10 years or so ago and of course they're you know they're late at night and so they're doing their little intro spiel you know this is where we're going to walk to you know stay together and the The story goes that halfway through Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki just show up in costume.
30:25And we're just walking behind this group for like 10 minutes. I would die. Before someone finally turned around. And they're like. I would absolutely die. Like this place is real. Winchesters are here. I met Jared Padalecki. Did I ever tell you all that? No, you didn't. They're both Texas boys, aren't they? Yes. That's how I met him. is he either still owns or used to own this bar in Austin. And I was at the bar and he came up and like, man, in my head, I'm like, if I ever meet a celebrity, I'm going to be so cool. Okay. Spoiler alert. I am not cool. I mean, I was tripping over myself and he was the nicest person ever.
31:04Like the bartender saw that I was such a big fan. Cause I love that show. I'm rewatching it with my daughter right now and bought us like whiskey shots. So I got to take a shot with them and then like took a picture. and he's like you're a really good hugger and i'm like i love you so much i mean i was so uncool it's crazy that he was that cool when you started the conversation with well just so you know i'm team jess i really should have i i had had too many beverages before he even showed up to put any coherent thoughts together i was not i've heard of so many actors that are out there that are hard to work with those two guys are like the complete 100 opposite they're just you know they're just they're down home guys they're texas boys yeah but aaron hey thank you for asking you know what am i going to do for halloween um as well so now i am because i am oh yeah no yeah no it's it's uh that's all right you know just just the writer producer of the show So, you know what, Brian?

I've been sitting on that for the last 10 minutes, and I actually had to poker face for once, once. Well played. So, I'm the old man in the room. There is someone who is about 29 days older than me. um but as the old man my my son is is a little bit too old to be going around trick-or-treating with dad uh you know now he's at the point where he just wants to go to the school events or you know go out with his friends um and i i for the last i was very happy i was i got to dress up and walk him around and his friends you know for trick-or-treating but now you know being the old i do we we try to i try to get him into horror movies god knows i've tried and he's just not adding it i will watch my halloween i will watch my friday the 13th but really i just i go around and as an old man just shake my fists at all of the uh the walmarts that have their uh christmas decorations up already yeah i'll go around and i'll i'll throw uh throw rocks at people that are you know wearing uggs or um you know any pumpkin spice i'm going to go and just tear it out no it's this is our season you don't you don't you keep your pumpkin spice you keep your uggs no this is this is our season you don't i don't want to get thanksgiving pumpkin spice was the least favorite spice girl so you know it's no absolutely not just didn't have the fashion sense yeah orange again really i'm now imagining both trent and brian sitting on a porch and shouting get off my lawn together like i just see it just at each other mostly you guys there's there's no lawn for three yards like what are you guys yelling at oh god we got a cosplay herschel and cecil i would pay good money for that i can't do the voice i can't do the drunk one just just trent's got you he can do it at the same time what am i working like a ventriloquist dummy i'm gonna learn to grow your voice and we'll just in my best dream you're working i'm like a ventriloquist part of own i'll be played by kyle brown
34:31all right should we wrap it up i think so yeah i think so i was trying to take a quick look there while we were chatting to see if we had listener questions from a previous episode but i didn't mark the ones that we asked. So I don't, I don't have any listener questions to get to for this, but we do have some great questions when we do get to talk to Ms. Brummett and I can't wait. So for all of our listeners, thank you so much for hanging in there with us. We love hearing from you. We love chatting with you. We can't wait to share this episode with you when we are able to pull it together. So on behalf of myself, podcast, Trent Shumway, Kyle and Brian, we want to thank you so much for listening.
35:07We hope that you have a wonderful spooky season and we will talk to you soon. Until next time, this is Aaron McCann signing off. Bye, all. Bye.

We had technical connection difficulties while trying to interview our extra special guest, so we cranked out a bonus free episode of Something about the Ice where we chat about our guest, the upcoming episode where she'll share her experiences on Amundsen-Scott, Palmer & Mcmurdo. We also talk about our favorite holiday...Halloween!!
