0:28Can I optimize my brain power? who actually excels in their profession only when they reach that flow state. Whenever you have the skill, you have the challenge one step further. That's the time you attain the flow state. Another problem which a lot of ambitious people are facing, burnout. Yeah, burnout mainly happens because your body and brain is actually not supporting you. What is the solution? Only solution is you need to increase your brain functions and body functions. Only an optimized body and optimized brain can actually lead you to success.

1:02Is it possible to unlock superhuman at potential? Absolutely. Tell me if somebody who smokes and drinks, but still goes to the gym, will the genes forgive that person? There will be a problem. Some people do that too, who sleep is bad. And next day, they go to the gym. That's not at all supported. And you are physically. Sleep is the only way you can recover. All of this can be disastrous to hell. There is no doubt about it. Now WHO says that the third largest cause of death is the change in zip code. So, if you have gone from another country, there are some things that you can trigger to trigger.

1:40I have done a genetic predisposition test mail. In 65 pages of reports. After this report, can you actually predict that I will live so long? You are scaring me today.

2:01Today our guests are Dr. Sajeev Nair, serial entrepreneur, longevity researcher and founder of WeRoots, Lemoverse and World Biohack Summit. He introduced a concept of biohacking and epigenetic testing in India. We will understand how many people's genes can trigger heart attacks and how an AI health concierge can suggest a daily basis of your life and genetic data. You can't change your genes, but they can control them and that control can make your life healthier and longer. This episode is the end of the year, because at this episode we have discussed my genetic test report. And in biohacking, longevity and eplimo genetic testing program, if you want to know more, or you want to test your family, then check the link in the description.

3:01Okay, why do you remember my report? You have done my report? first quick first I want to know this tell me you have reported with me what do you call it? gene testing? we call this as epigenetic lifestyle modification this program is the first step it is a genetic predisposition test so this genetic predisposition test is done on me if it has been tested so big report this is what in 65 pages In this report,

3:37can you actually predict how long I will live? How long can I live? And how long will I live? That's not possible. But what happens in the genetic predisposition test? What happens in the genetic predisposition test? We can track about that. These are the kind of diseases for which you carry high risk. okay let's break it down I'll explain some examples I'll report it do you have any specific things to ask? no I want to ask that at a basic level I'll try to show as much as I can to the people as well that normally people don't do but I'm very transparent with it I'll try to show as much as I can so Rajshama has decoded yeah so I'll decode what are the problems what are the right and what are the wrong and then we'll go to next time on the ipad so I'll just take it if you look for it the cardiac health if you look for it you have a higher risk for LDL cholesterol that means genetically you have LDL cholesterol to increase genetically you have it in the family I don't have it but my family has it that means that gene is not expressed now Now, you also have got high risk for myocardial infection.

5:08What does that mean? Myocardial infection is almost like a heart attack. Where the heart of the muscle is weak. It's not the block. It's weak. MI. Okay. So, and look at the third thing for you, high risk of QT. QT means that, what you see, ECG graphs PQRT QT is something like a gap QT prolonged this is not a disease every QT gap is different so my and your will be different but you have a prolonged QT what is the problem mainly prolonged QT which is for them for them for them for them for them for them for them for them should trigger it unless and until it is not triggered there is no problem okay okay wait then you said certain cardiac arrest so in that you also wrote that the risk of sudden cardiac arrest is high I see yes it's high risk how can you say that heart attack risk is very high because in your gene variant that sudden cardiac death can create a number one number two what will the gene variant trigger what will happen to that possibility that is what we need to figure out I also have coronary artery disease higher risk which is my gene if you see QT interval prolonged so prolonged cutie interval or sudden cardiac death in both genes connectivity so you will see that the prolonged cutie gene activate so how do you do it normally prolonged cutie which happens for high intensity interval training challenging jih hota hai nahi karna chahi hai bilkul so HIT so should I stop HIT yeah you should do moderate exercise as per this I should not even do boxing and stuff like that because that's technically HIT otherwise aap ke liye kuch you know functional medicine doctor ke saath bite ke aap ko eek clarity ke saath eek build up karna pade ga yani ki joh nutritional supplementation ke ek stack or saab build karke kar saktay jaysay ki I was looking at the same time, I saw that magnesium absorption level is very low, genetically.

8:02So, the amount of magnesium you get from eating from the food, normally 400 mg magnesium you need every day. But in normal way, whatever you have available, that will not be enough for you. You need more. magnesium is a mineral which has impact on every thing not just muscle not just on the sleep some people think magnesium is connected to sleep it has got everything to do with the muscles or the heart everything so this is all connected so suppose I give a example to give a example our client which is a multi-millionaire from Gujarat so their report was a prolonged QT so for them the marathon was not recommended normally the marathon was not recommended so our genetic counsellors said that the marathon was not recommended he started laughing so he said that for 2 years I doubt I am very passionate about marathon so in 2023 they collapsed in Delhi in the early Maharatan.

9:16So, after that, you know, another time they did counselling and we could fix certain things. Like, you know, there are certain connections, some correlations. Especially, it was a problem for them. I think, now, they started one time Maharatan to die. But after taking some magnesium IV. So, this is the way you can actually personalize. So, this is the negative and now we'll go deeper but tell me something positive positive 250 is positive okay it's a little bit you're scared that I'm going to call the podcast first I'll do this because you know first page you read and you know suddenly it's a risk and I'm like brother this is a podcast that doesn't happen problem see now many people are saddened we are seeing it happening every day they collapse they are they look healthy they look healthy they eat healthy exactly this is one of the reasons where your gene variants are in your so if you got earlier information got a connection, if you have actually blocked the trigger, you have saved your life.

10:45So you're telling me, like recently I saw, there was this one kid, I think 25 years old and he collapsed when playing and playing and playing. Have you seen that video? No. I'll show you that, it's scary. That he's playing as a healthy adult, normal and he's playing very well. He just collapsed when playing and playing and playing and suddenly, like heart failure and death. so you're telling me a lot of these things that healthy fit individuals who go to gym young people who are watching deaths they're doing this because they're doing something wrong to do in my opinion that's what it can be people blame on vaccination people blame I'm not saying that may not be true but you know vaccination COVID-19 they've got no time for testing they've got enough time normally what happens when vaccines and drugs

11:45but that hasn't happened yeah it can be that a vaccine will activate some gene variants like somebody has got a gene variant carrying gene variant for sudden cardiac death it can be that this vaccination will activate it will trigger it I'm just guessing but of course if you look at these situations definitely there you can actually trace it back otherwise tell me Sarukh Ganguly he was a cricket player and you know after that he was on the gym he had a major you know kind of collapse I didn't know about it yeah it was about 3 years back 3 or 4 years back so the wrong today we have a lot of trends right Right.

12:37Run clubs ho gai. HIIT ho gai. Different types of exercises. So, we're doing trend or excitement. So, that's wrong. Absolutely wrong. I normally say that whatever you're looking for is fine, you're doing it. If you wanted to go very specific on anything, like you have to go specific exercise, specific diet plan, see Raj, there are people that you don't have a problem. Some people have a genetic report there are certain genes which are responsible for fat metabolism you eat the fat which is the responsible genes that are responsible genes in your head if those genes are impaired that means something is in it something is a problem you didn't know about it you have put them into keto diet tell me what's going to happen it's going to be a disaster so So, you know, some people think everything is on the lifestyle, anything in genetics.

13:40I'm not saying that genetics is everything. But if you have some hard code, you know, the hard code is, that information is made and then you can build software. True. Have you seen the high rocks trend? Yeah. You shouldn't do that too? I think, you should do it but before that, to you have gene testing. You have to understand what is your code? Wow. There is diet which people follow. Different keto diet intermittent fasting. Your high rocks as a trend. Run clubs. Cycling. And that HIIT cycling clubs and ride clubs. 50 trends. All of this can be disastrous to health if we have not gene our genetic profile allow disaster there is no doubt about it and this is once in your lifetime affair you don't have to do it again this is once in your lifetime so you got the whole information you have decoded so you know it doesn't mean just just to test a genetic test you will get only the report and only show the risk factors after that experts us correlate and these are the kinds of triggers and make a lifestyle modification program for life modification implement you block everyone should do everyone who are seriously taking and they have a I would rather say wanted to contribute more into their life into the society and they think that if their life is worth everyone thinks but at the same time some people say that okay when a disease is gone that time we can see but always remember wellness is always cheaper than illness when we go to hospital then our how much pressure is we don't have any control but on wellness it's your control which way you can go to gym how much supplements you need to take what price you can decide.

16:01So I always find that wellness is always cheaper than wellness. So this is a preventive measure you need to take once in your life. That's it. And then after that, your lifestyle modification program we have made you. And also we give you a hand-holding for three months just to create new behavior pattern. And then it's almost like your operating manual came in your hand. What cost was it? I think it's 45 ,000. Yeah. Okay. 45 ,000 is the price now. And in this three months, there's hand-holding coaching. Okay. So 45 ,000, that's expensive for Indians. Like a lot of Indians. But people who are serious, people who can afford it, they'll afford it.

16:43It is expensive, but at the same time, when you look at expensive, means you'll have to compare also. Like we can compare it with whom. So how much cost of a lifestyle disease? how much is it? Tell me. If someone can actually go through the program and if it's possible one lifestyle, hypertension or maybe a sudden cardiac death, if it can prevent it, I think 45 ,000 is not a big deal. Fair. But how much modification is possible? Now these are my genes. probably my family ancestral history has come out. That's what you are testing. Correct. Correct. That's exactly what you are testing. It's not that my lifestyle how are you today?

17:35No. If there is a variation in the gene, it doesn't mean that. So, it's just that I am from family. So, what I am born with the family, that I am from family, that comes to this. Now, this is my reality. Every person can be different. I can't do anything. It will become something. Now how can I modify that? I know that information is about 15 things out of 275. The information that I can modify in the brain is not able to modify. So that's why we say epigenetics. Epigenetics means that you can influence it from outside. That is called epigenetics. So I am telling triggers that I am telling triggers and block triggers.

18:14That is called epigenetic modification. That is 100 % can do it. And how much is it possible That if I have You are telling me Example That high fiber diet Do my residues Do my cholesterol Control LDL HDL Control And What you have talked about Saturated fats And monosaturated fats That's what you have talked about That's what you have talked about Now when you have done this What do you guarantee That after all these things Don't happen to me You have actually reduced your risk no such as Angelina Jolie Hollywood actress you know genetics which we talk about actually story comes in in any of those kind of conversation when they test in the US they have the BRCA gene BRCA gene which is breast cancer which is the virus and they removed the virus then the risk has come down from 89 % to 2 % that's a big number coming down that's the main thing and that's what will happen with this yeah, because you can't change genes gene editing people are in the world but it's not officially approved so at least you can actually influence the genes and you can't change the triggers from outside

20:14It's possible. We have a super app called Trigger. We have built an AI. This is your genetic report and your latest blood report. It gives you suggestions on a day-to-day basis. We call it AI health concierge. Now, if I ask them, ask them to I'm going to Japan looking at my report and the latest blood report suggest me which all dishes I should avoid when I'm there. It will give you that list. Interesting so you're saying ki after gene testing ke baad gene report honne ke baad if people follow which they have suggested or which they have in their report you can save someone's life absolutely I totally believe in that because in the past 10 years sorry in the past 5 years we have about 15 ,000 to more cases dealed by we have seen dramatic changes why do people not do it when information is out awareness is less we are talking about awareness is less see genetic testing is in the market 4-5 companies in India but just by giving a report it's not going to help it's actually finding the trigger how to block the trigger what kind of lifestyle modification create so we need to do that in their program but who knows they don't give much attention in it why do you think who knows how much they know I don't know those who know the right way they will jump in because if I can if I can if I can at least reduce the chance of one deadly disease I will make an investment for that yeah forget reduce the chances if it's delayed for 1-2 years exactly exactly but just as you told me from your clients they have not done the marathon they have also done it and then collapse so many people have done it you know some people think that if I have not done anything then everything is okay you know cancer you know cancer when you detect at least 5-6 years back it started growing in some cases 10 years back it must have started growing and you think that you're healthy yeah you have no idea yeah so that's a problem so there are another problem also what we are seeing now is that excessive consumption of supplements without properly knowing about it this is a lady very fair you know like a beautiful lady but she was always having the problem skin rash reddish color Whenever she goes out, the skin becomes red, itching and all those kinds of stuff.

23:42And for the last 15 years, she has been on anti-allergens, anti-allergic drugs. And no solution. When she went through this program, we identified that she has got a high risk for a particular disease called sarcoidosis. It's a very rare kind of disease. which generally is an issue of lungs. Later on, it can become something like lung cancer. And she had the higher risk. And what's the trigger thing that is what is vitamin D higher dose. Higher concentrations of vitamin D. So, this lady was supplementing in the past 15 years. That is you know after the report our counselors said you have vitamin D supplementation and look what will happen in three weeks time she was absolutely normal she could actually walk on the sun so you said extra supplementation excess supplementation excess improper supplementation should be personalized there are I say kuch supplements kuch vitamins and minerals that is not cannot create any problem like vitamin C we need it because our body doesn't have production of vitamin C so we need to get food if we don't get food then we need to get supplement like you need to have certain minerals magnesium because 400 mg magnesium is difficult to get food every day but there are certain things like you know a common thing I tell you B vitamins B complex people think B complex is the most safest vitamin because it's a water soluble vitamin if you take more then you will urinate and go out of it but if you have a mutation on a particular gene called MDHFR like I have then you should be very careful which vitamin can create problem which vitamin shortage is in your in that regard you have to do a dosage hit do that.

26:04That's a problem. But I think the coming days it's going to happen. Because when we talk about it about it people ask what is this all about? I think biohacking is nothing but hacking around biology. You need to understand that. You can hack after that. You need to know the code. Explain me. Let's go. Simple master class on biohacking. What is biohacking? biohacking is basically hacking your own biology taking charge of your own biology جب میں biology کے بارے بات کروں تو biology میں اس میں physiology ہوتا ہے psychology ہوتا ہے neuroscience ہوتا ہے سب کو ملا کے taking charge means what you know جب میرے خیال سے جب آپ کے آپ کے biology کے اوپر آپ کا control جب ختم ہوتا ہے اس time آپ کو کوئی دوسروں کو اوپر dependent ہونا پڑتا ہے چاہے وہ doctors ہو hospitals ہو when you have the whole control everything is bigger why biohacking why this name some people don't like the name biohacking hacking and all those stuff it happened only because it emerged from Silicon Valley then when Silicon Valley people when they do it they put all those kinds of tech related names otherwise it's not rocket science when I started a lot of longevity that was the time I connected with this field of biohacking and those people are working on biohacking in the west and the interesting thing is that people use many techniques and there are some extreme techniques but they don't have to majority of the techniques have got some eastern connection like breath work is nothing but our pranayam in a different way grounding, earthing our own grandfather or parents were not using footwear so grounding or earthing was normal for Indians like fermented food is a biohacking tool so we in South India we have fermented food almost everything everything is fermented pickles so that means many things that were in our own those things were brought to a different level that's all The key factor I found in biohacking is knowing your own information.

28:28To understand the code. Basically, we are run by three major codes. One is a DNA code. Second is your metabolic profile. That means, as you're eating your body, and you're eating, and you're consuming everything. And then your microbiomes. What is their profile? so if you get a detailed information about all these three you can hack you can hack means you can take charge you can take charge once you start working on it you are actually taking charge of it otherwise you are just doing gush work biohacking allows you to do very precise very specific targeted work isn't it too much depends sometimes I feel like this test that test that test that that that that that that that analytics I'm eating so much I'm I'm so much I'm isn't I was happier when I was naive I'm not too much into that I also don't believe in all that detail kind of because most of the people are becoming paralytic with details exactly look panic are irritated people are going paranoid about the whole thing.

29:50We run a program called human performance optimization. You know, HPU. So what we do is that once you have to really decode your information. In addition, you have a whole operating manual prepared. And then you are actually you know, running your body, your biology based on that operating manual. That works. So all the time you keep on testing all those kinds of different factors and you know that's a psychological result so like for me this blueprint you'll make it for me yeah what will happen if I have followed what you told me based on my report based on physiology psychology bunch of stuff you guys will ready for me a framework a blueprint ready this is how my standard operating procedure is so that I can increase my human potential.

30:46Absolutely. Performance will increase. Performance will increase. What will happen if I have followed three months? Immediate results in which you can see in three months. One is that you will see a massive energy difference in your life. Your basic functions you know such as sleep digestion in this type of function you will definitely see a massive improvement. you know I have done that whatever your goal is it will achieve it's not like that but you will see that big difference because your environment is changing your genetic profile so then you are actually in real sync that that gives you a lot of you know advantages you know so if you ask me some people will be in the mind what difference it makes you know how do I know yeah because suppose if I'm a baby so if I eat some drugs I get to know my headache is gone but how will you you will know you will know in terms of energy levels in terms of endurance in terms of your sleep in terms of your digestion I've also seen that in terms of behavioral patterns when your internal systems change is in terms of behavioral patterns change change just imagine example you start putting fibers that's something which you're going to do now now automatically I'm telling you're going to have more healthy microbiomes and you start taking more of dark chocolate and all those kinds of stuff you can see more serotonin production automatically you'll feel good you know that's what everyone wants ultimately that's what that's ultimate biohack so that's the way it goes true can I optimize my brain power absolutely 100 % there are so many different ways to do it you know one is that you know your thoughts

33:07you talk about something called thought process re-engineering that's where I got my PhD what is thought process re-engineering how do you re-engineer how do you re-engineer explain with example now one situation is happening suppose power has been failed suppose so So, in which way I'm going to respond or you are going to respond may be different. Situation is the same. Why are we responding from each other? It's mainly because of the kind of thought we get when an incident happened. So, that thought doesn't happen from that moment. That thought is actually coming out of stored information.

34:05normally it says that you are storing data your brain is storing data three months prior to your birth so from there the information that you have stored in your brain brain is a fractional second process and a search is created so you cannot change thoughts just like that some people say you have to change the way change your thoughts you cannot because that's the way you are being programmed that's the pattern it's already created now the only thing on which you can work on like my thoughts came

34:40or normally the thought will lead to what an action or a word yes or no

34:48I got a thought how I need to reflect now is something which should be my choice I tell you that you have to put a filter called choice that's how we start making people practice this some people say that I am very short-tempered you know I am talking before thinking I am talking about it it's never been like that I am talking about it so how do you change the way you think you cannot change the thought how do you change the way you think the way you think generally that is what we call it as paradigms so thought process re-engineering we have done the study that I have done that's why I have done because I have taken a lot of motivation programs lots of mind power programs I have done thousands of people but honestly I have seen normal motivation mind power all those kinds of stuff generally the longevity impact of those programs if you see it's 2-3 weeks after normal life completely follow so I thought that those successful, consistent performers what is the difference where is the difference that was the time I started studying more about brain and neuroscience just from kind of an academic interest but it was really exciting because you know science says 90 % of what you know about your brain is being found after 1990 so it's a new science as such.

36:28Very new. So, neuroscience means neuroscientists and neurophysicians means that we think that it's all their job. I consider my hand as separate from me. You know, this is my hand. But when we talk about the brain, we feel like that's me. So, the first and foremost awareness we should have is that I'm not my brain. Okay, my brain is another organ okay and the most interesting thing Raj what I understood in my life is that the most trainable organ in your body is brain how do I train it whichever way you want to train only thing is that you should know the techniques of training that's all tell me I wanna okay there are two types of people one thinks that every thing is wrong one is limiting belief that this will not be able this will not be able right in fact I was reading about people who make it big versus who people who don't.

37:31Though if people are in the same class, same background, same school, same level talent, same level IQ, same opportunity. After that, one wins, another wins. And one of the big differences is, one person sees what I need and one person sees what I stop doing. that thing so if there's an opportunity probably I'll see that this goal is not an opportunity it's so big opportunity someone will see the negative one he will see that this will have to do this will have to do so many people they only see challenges and there are a lot of people like that so کچھ جو لوگ بہت negative ہی سوچتے ہیں ہر بار ان کو limiting belief ہوتا ہے خود کے بارے میں situation کے بارے میں لوگوں کے بارے میں ہر چیز blame کر رہے ہوتے ہیں وہ لوگ کیسے re-engineer کر سکتے ہیں خود کو یا خود کے thoughts کو کہ یہ صرف negative چیزیں نہیں دیکھیں and then they seized opportunities in a way that they only see off پالے تو ان کو سمجھنا چاہیے کہ this is all programmed ایسا نہیں ہے کہ یہ تو original ہے you were born original but after that you got programmed.

38:45No one had no tag in the world with the limitation of that. You know, you can perform so much. There's no tag. So we, you know, over a period of time, our brain has stored everything. See, always remember one thing. The one major default setting for your brain is that the brain and central nervous system are autocratic. No one doesn't have to move on to the scales. to raise the brain. They take the final decision. If my brain and central nervous system feels like it is warm then I will start sweating. Maybe this may be 20 degrees, but still I will sweat. So the facts don't count. So that is what the first and foremost thing.

39:34That is, as I feel like today, the challenge or opportunity that's my brain's perception. there is nothing called reality it's all perceptual reality so you know my reality and your reality is different true for every single thing true so this perceptual reality is created by whom by the kind of data which is being stored so brain takes five inputs what you see, what you read what you hear, whom you listen to what you touch what you associate like the kind of kinesthetic what you taste what you smell that's the five senses so based on that the brain has already created storage data and based on that you know you are actually continuously processing every single incident so right now whatever my brain thoughts emit it is still stored information if stored information is wrong then it will be wrong It will be a mistake.

40:39And the second thing is, who stores the information? I am actually allowing the brain to store the information. I am deciding that what kind of data my brain is going to be that I am going to be deciding that after a year, I can see it in the difference. Easily. But people don't know. That's what I said. They think that they are their brain.

41:08because either you can master your brain or your brain will master you true but people don't know that people don't change their thought process because it's a deeply embedded storage so when I'm thinking about doing something there's an inner voice that it's not going to happen because that inner voice is the stored data which is actually continuously playing and another thing is we should know that the brain what is the major role of the brain major role of your brain is not to fulfill your dreams you have to make a car you have to make a car you have to make a car that's not for the brain you have got 60 trillion cells in your body in every cell in every second trillions of chemical reactions it's to manage the whole thing so you know when you are processing 2000 bits per second consciously your brain is processing your non-conscious brain is processing 400 billion bits per second 400 billion bits per second that means that it's enough to do it so what do they do whatever thing is the same they do it that is why we call it as brain always chooses the path of least resistance so I think for people to understand the easy question I'll ask a simple question.

42:39In your dining room, you have a dining table and you have eight chairs. Every night, when you sit for dinner, you will sit on the same chair. Why the hell you can't change? Because your brain doesn't want you to change. Even one person told me that if I change the chair, I don't get digestion. Because brain doesn't want to consume energy on unnecessary things. Because it has to consume a lot of energy for all the other things. as much as new things you want to do, the brain will discourage you. Continuously discourage you. Until the brain gets to know that this will not leave. This guy is going to be continuously going to hammer me on this.

43:28Better to put it into auto mode. And that's how when somebody started smoking, it was not a good experience. it was not pleasant at the beginning they did it again and again and that time that smoke, that smell, that taste didn't feel good but peer group pressure he has to do it again and again the brain was under pressure then the brain thought any vichu are these guys doing it anyway so let me put it into auto mode that's what we call it as habits so what should I do to form better habits repetition repetition is the mastery of brain because irritate yourself repetition repetition repetition I call it irritation you whether you like it or not anything you repeat it becomes permanent so that is why I always tell people that you know you can actually develop any skill any point of time in your life any skill and you can become an expert just by doing it again and again and again and again with the support of a mentor because otherwise you may be doing it in the wrong way so the only way to reprogram your brain is new habits and then new habits will be when you repeat repeat you irritate yourself there is no other way that's basically 93 94 94 94 to 96 percentage of all what you do is controlled by your non-conscious part of the brain it's only the 4 to 6 percentage the conscious part of the brain which we call it as a prefrontal lobe and all its controls so that means that if you have to consciously build a life then you have to empower your conscious brain this is a very basic knowledge but it's difficult to do it because the non-conscious 93 times more are there tricks which can help me like I have heard neurobics is one of those tricks that if you challenge your brain by doing something with your non-dominant hand or something like that you don't do daily.

45:34Similarly, neuroplasticity increases. So that helps? Definitely. Neuroplasticity increases whatever you do unfamiliar things then new neural connections create. But if you really wanted to create a new habit which has to become ultimately a new belief you have to do it again and again and again. There is no other way. Otherwise, something like that in your life where a strong neural connection immediately connect some pain factors some rapid transformation so there are possibilities but in normal way I think it is possible but we need to be patient we need to be repetitive and I think you'll give a big hack but to do that I think to function your brain in a way to function function is very important like you know how much ever you wanted to achieve in your life if you don't support your hormones you won't be able to do it what does it mean so if your hormones are not working in the right way then definitely you may get stuck what to do now I am confused you are you know there is certain hormones called acetylcholine you know norepinephrine.

46:59These are kinds of things which are actually controlling your focus attention alertness. If something is less in that, so only an optimized body and optimized brain can actually lead you to success. So that's, so you're telling me the reason is that so many entrepreneurs, so many CEOs, so many leaders who follow law of attraction, visualization, follow techniques, tricks, mastery, skills, all of them and you do a lot of work even after doing all that hard work of doing all sorts of skills and all sorts of extra dream manifestation all of these things as well after that some people are successful and some people are not so the difference is brain optimization brain and body because your hormonal see as I told you when the moment you are talking about serotonin serotonin body brain cannot produce your gut has to produce if your gut is in bad shape how much ever visualization you do you won't get that good feel you know to get that good feel to feel that happiness that's what biohacking is all about that's why I call it as biohacking for life success these are fundamental things I'm not talking about getting into DNA getting into microbiome even fundamentally if you know some of the basic things in which way you can optimize your body, your brain and your mind.

48:27Then, of course, all these practices, whether it is power of visualization, hell of attraction, vision, mission building, these are definitely required. But your foundation should be. Without foundation, how do you work? Can you also be able to re-engineer creativity? can do it from from biological and psychology perspective like we talked about the mood possibly hormones maintain you can improve your performance absolutely can you make your brain more creative and innovative see it depends on how do you define creativity like you hear so normally anyone who actually excels in their profession only when they reach that flow state the flow state is a combination of different hormones and only when you have enough endorphins, enough acetylcholine, all those kinds of hormones come in a balanced form that's the time you attain that flow state so flow state in a training model we say that flow state achieve for you you need skills and challenge okay and whenever your skill is so much that's the time you attain the flow state but if your hormones are not supporting it you will never achieve it so you need to have that endorphin rush you need to have that serotonin and dopamine rush so you need to have that balance state that is the time you actually achieve this then most creative things happen in the flow state you are a creative person in my opinion when you don't know how many times you work you don't even know the more you work the more energy you get true you never get drained so I think it all depends on your body, your brain and how your overall functions see we haven't seen I work with a lot of entrepreneurs especially in optimizing their body brain women entrepreneurs especially maybe what I'm going to say may be a controversy but still decision makers especially when women come on the chair we have seen many cases where a lady's hypothyroidism is going on she's prone to make wrong decisions not even not taking decision wrong decisions why?

51:17that's the way you are structured your brain will work but in a different direction what happens inside which is wrong decision basically giving wrong interpretations see if you look at it every single thing if you look I can actually connect everything which happens in the brain to electrical or chemical or mechanical programming so go ahead tell me something about it what is happening because of a certain state where women are wrong decision now how does a decision happens in your brain or how does communication goes in the brain like you asked something to me so that time I'm hearing that and after that some of the neurons are getting activated so neurons are like you know they have got axons, dendrites It's like a huge network.

52:15Around 100 billion neurons is what they are saying. So it's an electrical impulse which moves from one, the end of the neuron to the other end. Okay. The electrical impulse reached the other end. And at that time, it's the neurotransmitters that are there. And neurochemicals. Some things are neurotransmitters, some are neuroinhibitors. So they charge it. electrical impulses. Then that neurochemical goes and charges the next neuron. Then the electrical impulse moves. This is what's happening the fraction of a second inside your brain. If you have a happy news or something exciting, then the electrical impulse goes and serotonin gets charged and the serotonin goes, hit the next neuron, come back.

Read the full transcript

53:07It's called serotonin reuptake and the next neuron gets charged. So this is the process. imagine a situation where in their synapses is less than serotonin I am just giving an example now he may get that information which is happy news but he will not get that feeling okay now another situation is where here from the end of the synapses from the end of the neuron from the end of the new neuron, you know, the serotonin and the other neurons is called reuptake. So, reuptake is faster. It is dysfunctional. So, what happens is that, what is happiness? Happiness in a chemical format, it is the, how much time the serotonin stays in the synapse.

54:06That's your happiness. if it doesn't stay there you won't feel happy or your happiness moment will be very less now if there is a problem in reuptake that is why people get into depression one of the reasons where the drug is provided like Prozac it is called SSRI selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor that reuptake is inhibited it is blocked you get more serotonin present in the synapse so this medicine is given with the presumption that you have serotonin the problem is with reuptake but if serotonin is a little then the medicine will not do this now this is one example of serotonin what I am talking about this is the same way you can say the electrical and chemical connectivity which can actually change everything what we think of

55:03so then but is it that easy to do Is it everything that you're saying that this will change, this will shift for this reason, there are problems for this reason, someone has a decision making problem, this whole chemical goes from one to two, it's a slow process right, is it changeable? Changeable yes absolutely, absolutely and majority of the hormones your gut plays a major role just if you fix your gut primarily primarily and then of course you endorphins, how do you generate more endorphins exercise generates more endorphins there is another thing called BD brain derived neurotrophic factors so brain derived neurotrophic factors which is called BDNF these are considered to be something called fertilizer for all the hormones okay so how do you increase BDNF if BDNF quantity then BDNF increases when you are engaging into you know kind of whatever body movements exercise dance you know even your hormosis process you know the control stress process all this creates BDNF which actually fertilizes all other hormones so there are so many ways you can actually hack there are many entrepreneurial CEOs who are competitive and they are they are drive heavy just take it but then there's another problem which a lot of ambitious people are facing and that is burnout after one time they feel so competition or so burnout that is now it's done I mean now I'm not enjoying anymore and then they feel that is there a way out for that yeah burnout mainly happens because your body and brain is actually not supporting you.

57:07Where you have to reach, where you have to reach your mind, you cannot reach your body. That's the time you feel burnt out. I see in the past 4-5 years, the intensity is very much. Basically, competition has gone up. AI has come in and so things are moving faster. So many entrepreneurs, like in our generation, are more. It seems that we are not reaching nothing is happening. That's the problem. That is eventually becoming a burnout. Now what is the solution? The only solution is you need to really hike yourself up. You need to increase your brain functions and body functions. There's no other way.

57:54So to reach the brain optimized level as we talked about it I think there are few things which anybody can do. One is you know brain is mainly made of fat if you see good fat is good for the brain so people are taking the issue of cholesterol that is actually affecting your brain in a negative way so I think you know I am not giving it as a medical advice but still what I always recommend people is that Kharondu Deshi Ghee you know the A2 Ghee which is extremely good for your brain empty stomach Ek chamach Ghee A2 Ghee not the normal other ghee, other ghee is inflammatory. Interesting and because you were talking about improving performance and brain performance right Ghee is another technique?

58:59coffee is a great it's not just because of the caffeine caffeine is only one part of it good coffee contains polyphenols polyphenols very powerful antioxidants you need antioxidants anything which contains deeper color has got rich antioxidants so polyphenols that means fat based whatever thing brain fat based so these are some of the things which really can work well what is your take on chemically which people brain boost what is your chemical background you don't require to do that but explain me that how it works because a lot of entrepreneurs around the world top level entrepreneurs psychedelics use Elon Musk says it out very out loud I don't know what he uses but he takes substances.

1:00:00Yeah. Right? So what's psychedelics? See, it's basically to change the hormonal structure in your brain. You know, it can enhance certain suppose if you wanted to have a hike if you wanted to have certain mood, elevations, all those different things. Those temporary fixes I've never heard that psychedelics use and get a permanent fix. I have never heard it. so I think it's a you cannot say that it's bad because maybe the people who are using it they are getting some benefit out of it and what about people use a lot of people use shrooms as well yeah what's it what's it what's it what's it what's it see these also basically these contains different polyphenols polyphenols have got direct impact on your brain because it's a fat surface so what's it impact what will it be?

1:00:55How will it be? How will it be? How will it be? You need to understand. When you have to play with brain, you need to play carefully. Because when you have to take a thing, you can remove chemical chemicals, which is something that you need to know. Without that, it doesn't work. That's very clear. See, think about it. when people start smoking, then there is a situation where smoking habit is made. And then there is a belief built. Where you feel like if you go to toilet, smoking after that. See, what are you talking about? I've asked this question to people. You know, my digestion improve. when you smoke the smoke goes to your stomach or what?

1:01:52for digestion improve nonsense but your brain is a nonsense organ it doesn't have intelligence it has been tuned it has been actually programmed that way so brain has got a new program a pattern developed where it feels like yes this lunch will eat

1:02:20that's why I'm saying that the brain is the most trainable organ. And then if you train it badly, then it just goes like that. It doesn't know what is good, what is bad. What is your take on new adaptogens? Like alpha GPC to improve their focus and memory. Should people take that? they can but safer than many of the psychedelics but but always remember this you know once you practice with brain it is not with the body with the brain it becomes a habit whether you like it or not whether you like it or not what are the levels first is great sleep that is level 1 then if people are compromised then they use caffeine use that the brain doesn't better performance from that then they become resistant from caffeine because 1 cup, 2 cup, 3 cup same type that they don't have high because coffee will be reduced so then they go up which is caffeine will start with some extra or L-theanine will start with L-theanine or brahmi use it and it will better then when it doesn't happen then they introduce alpha GPC then alpha GPC also gets used to then what's next all because you are trying to only finding out shortcuts if you start to see the right way first you fix your sleep you know that's why it starts we are actually you know whatever animal we are like animal and we work with the circadian rhythm like sunrise we are creating cortisone and we are creating one level points you know sunset melatonin this is a certain rhythm now if your production is not in a good way there could be some reason what reason gut everything is related to gut serotonin and melatonin you know they are brothers you know one produces the other again that is also going to be connected to your gut and also your entire overall body functions so if If your body functions and gut didn't do it properly, and in that way, you just tried to do it properly, then I think you are actually wasting your time.

1:04:46So first is gut-brain connection you need to fix or else everything else is stupidity to work on. Body, brain, and then the mind. First is body and brain. Because we call it as psychosomatic. I think the majority of the issues right now happening is somapsychotic. starting from the body and getting into the mind what do you think which mistake Indian specifically which they are losing 10 years of their life in terms of death in terms of death in terms of healthy lifestyle in terms of diseases in terms of whatever you are right because now people are aging faster though they are living longer they are aging faster mainly because right now you know we are in a period where the overall stress level has gone up because as a human the world is demanding more from you than the world was demanding 10 years back or 20 years back there are more opportunities you have to run faster so like what we what we discussed you know chances of burnout is very high True If you have a support for your nutrition Your body movement Your hormonal functions These all things I have not done right And I have not done right Especially nutrition Because If you have a doctor Even dietitians They all talk about good food My question is How can I get I don't know that you eat good vegetables fruits in vegetables there's a whole chemical of poisons or no organic we had a survey last year in our state where they actually inspected organic vegetable stores and they found that 58 % of the vegetables had chemicals so what do we believe in that's what I'm saying then you start a kitchen garden toh my opinion that is luxury so what is left magnesium moringa very good moringa is the best source of magnesium but latest report says that soil minerals especially magnesium level 58 % has become reduced in the last 10 years.

1:07:33Plants can't produce their own magnesium. They take it from the soil. So where are we going now? So you need to have supplements. There's no other option. But you need to know which supplements you require. Today, if you have to take time to do or have to have to slow down your aging, your body has to move continuously number one and number two is that you need to be on supplements which is more of personalized there's not a generic thing for everyone to do it I think

1:08:23it's not possible how many supplements are too many supplements I think it's not in terms of numbers I have seen my friends who are from the US who are biohackers who have all supplements in a jar I think it all depends on person to person like that I don't have a complex but I take B9 for a period of time B9 means that methyl folate for about 2 weeks and after that I cut it off so for me I have a supplement in my genetic profile in that change when I have something different in my blood markers otherwise I follow the track which gave me pretty good energy levels excellent sleep peace of mind I have a friend who is who is a nutritionist and performance coach for one of the top athletes in the world like top level athlete and that athlete takes around 52 supplements a day.

1:09:27Yeah. I've got people more than 100 supplements a day. 100 tablets a day. Yeah. Is that safe? 52 to 100 supplements in a day. You're eating 100 bottles. 100 bottles. They're eating more. They're eating breakfast in one jar. How much will they live? Is there any problem? I don't know. I don't know. I really don't subscribe to that. Anyway. But is it not scary? doing a carpet bombing they are actually doing a carpet bombing these are a little bit right exactly I don't think what is that you know are you a human you know exactly so how many what's the limit like what's what is too many supplements if you are a healthy adult see if you have something that's going on maybe mental health issues or cancer or something you don't have a lot of supplements you don't have a lot of supplements but that's separate like that's okay that's okay that you have 20-30 to maintenance that's fine normal who's healthy just to optimize your performance how many supplements should be there I think if you're actually not going as for the genetic profile I say you have some supplements use you have to balance so I will always suggest somebody says offhand can you say a few I'll say vitamin C natural then once in a while natural vitamin if you can get because antioxidants today we are living in such a polluted place then you need to have omega 3 fatty acids for sure yeah omega 3 fatty acids yeah magnesium is made in today's day very important then if you can actually have a good natural propi biotic to stabilize your gut I think that's something which is kind of very very generic it works for everyone most of the people these are required anyway I should have to keep 4-5 people based on their personal life multivitamin, multiminals no matter what it is just a multivitamin, multiminals, natural but someone has 4-5 balls I should eat 5-5 pills but otherwise where do you get it where you get nutrients that means what is your food some doctors are against supplements that's mainly because see if you look at it in the MBBS when they study I think nutrition is one one one session you know one class and I got so many friends they say that they bunk that class no that's I think nowadays they are understanding when I was 10 years old when I was selling supplements many doctors were telling that these are all actually creating expensive urine but now they don't say like that they are seeing difference when they are actually giving supplements along with medication like that when they are giving cancer patients in chemotherapy additional supplements they see that their health is improving like all these things people will do healthy supplements diet nutrition bunch of treatments all of this biohacking longevity all of this do you think actually death becomes an option the geneticists actually claim that now really yeah there is a book called death of death okay it's written by George Codiaro and David Wood.

1:13:20So they'd say that by 2045, death becomes optional. Like science will reach at that level where you can decide where you want to die. Not to that extent, but, you know, like when you know all the kinds of possible probable diseases for which you have a high risk. And once you know the triggers and if you can block the triggers, the chances of your death from these diseases is minimized. Now, during your lifetime, you know, like, the present day, if you are able to have a proper lifestyle based on your genetic and metabolic profile, I think chances of dying from these diseases are drastically coming down.

1:14:02So it's almost like you can say that death is becoming optional. Do you believe in it? I believe in it. I'm not saying that you won't die. See, some people say that, can I reverse my age? You can reverse your biological age. You cannot to reverse your age. You know, normally we calculate our age as per the calendar. Yeah. But that days are gone now. Or at least in the coming years you are going to see it happening. Because biological age can be measured through a methylation test. Now, if you look at your biological age and suppose I say that I'm in my 60s and I wanted to perform my RC5 was in my 40s or 50s, which is possible now.

1:14:46and I strongly believe that that days are not far away when you know for marriage people are going to check your biological age certificate because majority of the people now people say that hey Sajeev always you people say that you know people are living longer but nowadays even at a young age people are getting diabetic people are getting blood pressure exactly yeah it's basically because you may be your chronological age your calendar age may be 30 but your biological age may be 50 so you are attracting all the diseases which are supposed to happen 50 right now so I think it is possible to live longer stay younger you said in the future or maybe like right now also some people will start to see this biological age absolutely

1:15:39now you say that what is a bridegroom's biological age. Show me the certificate. Do you think you have to do this? I said yes. If you wanted to create the healthy offsprings which is nowadays not a priority nowadays. But for healthy offsprings people are trying to test blood and actually gene testing I heard that people do before marriage and before marriage people do like thallusomy and conditions avoid in their children so people get their test that. Yeah, even to that extent, epigenetic modifications, suppose from childhood itself, if a boy and a girl start doing the epigenetic modifications as per the profile, and when they get married, the chance of the next generation getting some of these mutations will be less.

1:16:30Which one should test a couple before a marriage? What do you think? In what time? What all tests? So, there is some specific genetic test to identify certain factors like whether there will be a genetic disease. These are not genetic diseases. Genetic disease, chance of genetic disease, which can be found out. Contra test. It's a pure genetic test connected to reproduction. Which genetic labs do it under the supervision of medical doctors. It's not like, you know, like a consumer product. It's not like a do-it-yourself product. Do you think people should do it? I think, yeah, it's a good idea.

1:17:12But I think this is also a good idea. Like in the sense that if you know about your genetic predispositions and you start making lifestyle modifications in a young age. And both the child, because there is a geneticist who came out and made a statement that the child who is going to live more than a thousand years is already born. Really? Yeah. So you are saying that you are getting married? Genetic test for reproduction. genetic test which is for lifestyle modification. These two should be checked for people. And biological age. Biological age for marriage. Yes, for marriage. Like marriage time, you've seen these three things before.

1:17:53So you would know what kind of person you are trying to sign up for. Before getting genetic predisposition, it will be very difficult. There's so much risk. You'll know that when you arrange marriage, ji car rhea love may be all of these things doesn't matter but jab arayn ji car rhea ho jab abhi yeh dekhte ho ki paribar kaisa hai kamate kaise hai lok kaise hai aas paas ki lok kithar rahenge kithar nahi rahenge fada nahi kya kya factors region life lifestyle spending power the way the family rituals religion kya hai sab dhekhte ho abhazar crazy that's incredible okay gene editing how far we are gene editing if you look at it it's already happening in some way or other really not in India yeah there's a lot of work happening gene editing that's what gene editing is right correct but it's officially in the lab level it's happening right now not on the commercial level not on a consumer level there are some crazy people in the US they have made it commercial also unofficially so what happens tell me what commercial they have done the editing gene editing means they use a technology called CRISPR it's called a CRISPR technology that's a technology which is being used now what do they do now suppose if you have a genetic variant that means see the if you look at the gene coding it is in four letters A T C G so these are the four letters so now you have I'm just giving you a very hypothetical case for a basic understanding now imagine when I did your gene decoding for you genes responsible for say eyesight suppose it's the universal healthy gene.

1:20:09Suppose if it is AATTCGG. And when I looked at your gene, it is AATCGGCC, something like that. There's a variation which is called a variation. And this variation, 94 % of the people who are having this variation have got glaucoma, suppose. That's how we come into the inference that you have a higher likely chance of glaucoma. Now, through gene editing, actually if we can actually correct those variations then you're perfect right so this is one way of looking at it another way of looking at it is gene editing for cosmetic changes like you know someone want a blue eyed boy so change the color you want to change the color of the retina the color of the retina also is a genetic function and it will happen yes of course but it is not officially accepted but it's happening in the lab in the world?

1:21:06It's not officially happening. It's not officially happening and results. It's happening. It should definitely happen. In fact, if you look at if you Google it, you can see that there are so many cases which you know, the FDA has actually filed against for doing unauthorized gene editing. So, you can say that it's not happening. So, let's say one thing is the color or feature physical features you can edit and you like the child that will come out that my child wants blue-white so change the gene and that is happening designer babies designer babies okay so that's there's a word but can you can you design in a way that I'm more intelligent I'm more if that is possible high IQ all that is possible if once we go deeper into gene editing but But it's in a peripheral level right now at this point of time.

1:22:07Today it's not possible? No, no. Athletism or in some... Yeah, you can actually even increase your characteristic as an athlete. Of course, you should be able to do that once you are able to edit in the proper way. What is perfect gene pool? You can only call it as a perfect gene pool only because based on the kind of data which is being gathered in the gene pool where they know each of these organs healthy genetic profile how does it happen so that is the global data pool to which actually you push your data and see and do you think that we are evolving that we are reaching the biological peak we are evolving because if you look at it even your brain is evolving there are some somewhere I read a research paper where they say that even size of the brain is increasing especially the neocortex the the external part of it so i think the evolution is still on we are not saying that we are we are complete what do you think what will biological peak would look like for humans i for me i think i always allow people to dream or make people to dream about celebrating your 100th birthday after completing a five kilometer run with your grand great grandchildren and then after that go to the place wherever you want to go for your work which you love to do.

1:23:35That'll be the peak. Yeah. Are there people who are able to do this today? Yeah. I think if you look at there are certain places like Japan some part of Japan you can see people having that kind of lifestyle. In Italy there's a place called Sardinia in which people are living at 120. Yeah, blue zones. some of the blue zones you can see this happening yeah and I think it is not it is not a just a dream it is possible it's increasing also like yeah but it's contradictory that average life expectancy is increasing but then young young deaths we are seeing a lot more so dying younger yeah That's why, you know, the phenomenon is basically, are we living long and dying short or are we living short and dying long?

1:24:38I think what has happened right now is that because of the medical science, the advancement in medical science, we are able to die long. Means when my dad had his first heart attack, there was no angioplasty during that time. I'm sure that at that time there was an angioplasty kind of thing he would have lived more now here what's happening is that the age of 30 or 40 people are getting some or other diseases and after that they have the medical science help from their death is getting stent the problem is that because of the damage and anything limitation their performance and energy levels are getting this is a problem so what's the ideal situation what happens?

1:25:23The ideal situation is where you live until long years and then you die in a short period of time. And that you live healthy contributing to the society. I think this is possible. And this is what I call it as a superhuman life. And is there is there anything to do with my DNA? Like can my DNA predict how long will I live? Your DNA cannot predict but here we have a test which is a methylation test. So methylation test is what happens in your methylation? You have a DNA information. You have a information and you have a tissue manufacture your that is another molecule called RNA. You have a gene in your information and you have a photocopy and you have a manufacture start with that.

1:26:22That's different from the other tissues. Now, this process is called methylation. Okay. Methylation can be tested and tell us that if it goes through, then how many years can it go? If there are changes, then. And how much of your biological age is now? These are methylation tests. And because we are talking about genes and all of these a lot. It depends on genes that we will attract on which one. Who do we fall in love with? We can do it to a certain extent. As it is connected to the genetics. But you can do it from the oxytocin level. How much is it romantic? Okay. How does this look like? See, oxytocin is a hormone which is actually giving you that romance-related fear.

1:27:13Romance, love, affection. so if the oxytocin level becomes less then you become non-romantic so it's also happening in the husband and wife you have become no more love no more romance nothing the relationship will become less oxytocin level and if it's less and serotonin will become depressed and happiness level yeah absolutely these are all connected also yeah true do you think depression is written in our DNA? which is there? depression lifestyle is more than that lifestyle is external depression suppose these two things there is a code which is written code to activate lifestyle or external factors it is written in code but if someone has written that depression is not then it will not happen it will happen it will happen but it will happen but it will be a chance for them heart attack sudden cardiac death this is 100 % genetic no suppose someone's genetic profile sudden cardiac death low risk can also be it can be it can be but this person's who is the same will be more multiplied 10x so the chance of to be more the triggers can be yes can gene also predict that the person is more prone to lying, addiction, cheating.

1:28:47Yeah, behavioral traits. Yeah. How? There are certain genes which actually can decide the behavior. We test separately only the behavioral genes. In our Eplimo program, we are checking more behavioral patterns from 20 to 20. So we can check more from that. To a certain extent, we know that. interesting how is it when we look at behavior it is lesser of genetics more of environment to a greater extent this should also be a test people should be pregnant no but one thing to understand you are not entirely of your gene it's the decision you already take like if you have have decoded the DNA, you got a core information.

1:29:43There's no meaning from that information. How you are going to design your life around it is what matters. That's what we call it as epigenetic lifestyle. Tell me if somebody who smokes and drinks, but then goes to the gym, will the genes forgive that person? It depends. If that fellow has got all these kinds of different variants, yes, problem. There will be a problem. And I think if you seriously look at it some people do it who sleep is bad some days or nights and the next day they go to the gym that's not at all supported a gene can do anything nothing about it that your yourself is killing sleep is the only one way you can recover you can actually repair your body you can recover and if it's not the right way so if you go and go body ko ziyadha exertion dee de us mein jeen ka koin koin maatlab nahi so what would you recommend from purely science and science and biology perspective agar koi koi com so raha to kya usko subo utke to bhi gym jana chahi ki woh ek didh ghanta so jana chahi he needs to sleep doesn't matter bhale sedentary ho he needs to sleep yani ki if you are tired if you are if you are feeling so much you know you know that you haven't slept well the most important thing is you need to sleep see if you have slept in a way and then you know when you woke up you feel lazy that's a different thing that's a different thing that's a different thing but you sleep 4 hours should you go to the gym and exert yourself no I think you should get enough sleep sleep is more important than exercise absolutely absolutely under any circumstance I say food, sleep, exercise which is the most important sleep second food so it's not like exercise and eat food no no no it can't happen people who eat food eat food it's very dangerous many people eat food that's the worst thing which can happen why?

1:31:54number one is that your body is really working well and you are giving garbage into it but people say this is an excuse that let's work out then you can eat whatever you want to eat. See, there are people who are, you know, I know one person who has been regular on the gym every day, one and a half hours to two hours workout. In his 40s, he was detected with colorectal cancer.

1:32:22Now, what is the reason? He hasn't gone through a program, but still I can tell that this guy used to eat a lot of grilled chicken. Normally people think grilled chicken is very healthy. Yeah. Okay. Now, anybody who has got a colorectal cancer higher risk for colorectal cancer or that kind of gene variant in them they will trigger a major component that is called advanced glycation and products. ages advanced glycation and products what is this? this is what we produce in the body when you caramelized things especially non-vegetarian things that caramelized or burned so normally in India the Mediterranean diet grilled is different our grilled normally top layer is burned that is tasty but if your colorectal cancer gene variant is in your definitely it is going to be the trigger so is grill food healthy you bet

1:33:48you are you are scaring me today and you are scared what you are watching that something it was like this don't eat this don't eat this don't eat this Actually, this is a much better way to then just blindly follow this not eat or this not eat or that not eat just by looking at random reels. This is much better that based on my personalized gene expression, I can actually choose and decide what to put it in my... Exactly. There is nothing called good food. There is nothing called good exercise. You know, the right thing is for you, the good food is dangerous for me. that's there is an old proverb which says that one man's food can be another man's poison yeah now it's true wow you kind of answered my second question but I still want to go out and ask you my question was going to be two people eat the same diet eat the same diet why is this?

1:34:53their genetics has got a role to play their genetics has got a role to play that's why that's what generally when when we talk about genetics normally all researchers show exactly the same story and second one person who goes to high fat diet another person who goes to high fat diet and what do you say low carb high fat and one person get the results one person get his kidney damaged yeah if he has got a gene variant fat metabolism impaired so high fat diet is so I think today the first thing is that our dietitians nutritionists should understand

1:35:51there are people from streets street smart people who are talking about the earth people who are tough they don't have anything in the beginning I said something that is if you are just doing what you are doing and you feel good you keep on doing that the moment you are actually trying to do something very specific that's the time you should be very careful that is I am I am sure that I do not do science from science. Your body knows to a greater extent what you can take and what you cannot. There is an intelligence built in your body. For some people, there is nothing like sugar. They love sugar.

1:36:46And nothing happens. and if they cut the sugar then they become diabetic because maybe their body is producing sugar now I don't know so what I'm saying is whenever you are going into specific regimens like health patterns you want to improve your health if you have taken a decision that I have to increase my performance then you be very specific otherwise you have some basic knowledge about you know kind of biohacking which can help me for life success go ahead with that okay so let's just talk about this that now after listening to this mind me and all the people watching them to improve their performance now they are superhuman what is super like is it possible to unlock superhuman at potential absolutely Everybody has got a superhuman But superhuman Normally What I'm thinking about it That is human Whatever I'm doing That is superhuman That's not That's the one who flies So I think Yes We can unlock What is superhuman potential?

1:38:02Superhuman potential is I think It's different from each other The way I'm thinking The way I'm thinking The way I'm thinking The way I'm thinking how saktahe usse bhi zyada jitnye bhi kare o meray liye super human suppose may such raha hoon ki meray joh job may may mayra salary ah mahinye ka tien laag tuk phunc ja saktahe hmm lekin may kuch kuch chisai i say kar raha hoon usse meray joh income panch laag ds saas ds laag so that's a bit of a super human activity which gives me a kick so ideal Still, a superhuman life is what we talked about. If I can actually live 100 years, absolute health, with absolute health, vitality, celebrate my 100th birthday with my great-grandchildren, after completing a 5-kilometer run, after that I go and do whatever I love to do.

1:38:58This is a superhuman life. So it all depends on perception. How do you perceive it? so journey if someone asked you or those people journey starts to do it we have so many ways to do it first of all be aware basic education we need to understand your health is not your doctor's responsibility okay many people have seen that something happened

1:39:36you cannot do anything you have to be very true no no I have got health insurance who is benefited actually for health insurance who is benefited you are not benefited because your hospital bill is covered only because you are hospitalized so your productivity your performance so I think people have to be more logical so the first thing is that the most important thing in the world is knowledge when I realized that I got knowledge about these things I got knowledge about this I got a association, a connection, a community so then I can actually start working on it so that's why we are building a free community we are billing that is called superhuman tribe anyone you know who are watching they can all join this community superhuman tribe for free can you give me the link yeah yeah absolutely you put that link yeah yeah so if just say you said about doctors right for example if I have a disease then I know that I have to go to the doctor I know that heart disease is the doctor brain is the doctor general is the doctor general practitioner I know where I go to the doctor Now I don't have any disease.

1:41:03But I want to unlock my potential. I want to make better. I want to make better my energy. I want to make better performance. I want to make better sleep. Overall life, the small things. I want to make better brain function. I want to make better sex. I want to make better endurance and stamina. These are all very basic things. So that I can live in a better way. And I don't have any disease. I want to make better these. So who should I go to? That's a very good question. I always ask this question to people saying that, you know, when it is diseases, you have doctors to go. When it is about health, whom to go to?

1:41:40Can I go to a dietitian? Yeah, she may be able to give a diet plan. If I go to a fitness coach, then we will give an exercise plan. But I think right now, there is a new profession has to be born. That's what Deloitte also is saying. Deloitte has released this report called Future of Health. And in that it is written that by 20, right now, the preventive health and wellness is just less than 20 % of the entire healthcare industry. So in their report, within 10-15 years, the entire healthcare industry is going to be 60 % preventive health and wellness. That means a new profession is going to be born.

1:42:23so Merik Health is professional health coaching performance coaching or lifestyle coaching and I see that even doctors and nutritionists are getting into this field now because it's the future thing that people have this question in their mind if I have to improve health I have to improve performance where is it? so this is very important our organization is an academy we began we are doing a course with the Indian Association of Functional Medicine we are doing a course its name is Certification Program in Human Performance Coaching so we are learning this starting from genetics, microbiomes supplementation usage whatever you are talking about the brain, the thought process range all those things we are covering it's an online program so we are having almost 200 plus people already completed the certification so I think in that we have a qualification that if you are from a life science background so yes that's a very good advantage otherwise you should be very passionate about health and wellness for yourself to improve your health and wellness and for others you should be passionate for both so I think that's going to be the profession which is going to cater to this and of course the medical doctors today are also oriented in this way a lot of people especially young doctors becoming functional doctors yeah yeah functional doctors in our coaching program I think more than 30-40 doctors have completed this program so I think there is a greater level of awareness which is very good so today you don't know where to go today go and learn yourself and then they should be you can be part of the community.

1:44:17Like our superhuman tribe there are experts and people who are in their optimization path can connect with them. Or you can actually enroll for some of the programs in the world. I am doing a program that is called Biohack for Life Success. Which will be for 3 days and for 3 days. There are about 6 to 7 hours 9 hours 6 to 9 hours program. Or a course almost after that next day he can work on the optimization session you can actually see difference in his body brain and mind so this is this is the way to start you know like if you are waiting for health coaches but you can actually educate yourself biohacking is actually hacking your own biology you need to take here's my last question tell me top 3 cases from your last 15 ,000 cases top 3 cases where someone has come to you and then because of your lifestyle modification genetics program you have predicted something and identified something or helped them get better in some area of life I'm a good case what happened with you, tell me no because because I have this higher risk for coronary artery disease.

1:45:46And I was having the fear because my father had it at the age of 48. So the question is that, you know, when is it going to happen? So when, they work on your confidence. When you have that fear in you. When we came to this understanding, what's actually the trigger or methyl folate we got to know about. And when I started to consume methyl folate consume you know then I could see that homocysteine is coming down then I could actually see that you know the chances of the challenge that was on my life that chance you know came out so that gave me a lot of confidence so these kind of lot of incidents could be there these little tweaks little tweaks yeah perfect thank you so much sir thank you so much for spending time with us it was a pleasure I think it was a pleasure decoding you it was an honor actually thank you so much thank you pleasure having you and it was really scary the first scary podcast yeah how are you doing very good sir pleasure meeting you please have a seat you know I have seen this dream recently in last two years specifically in my friend circle and in my age from 23-24 and from 35 25-35 10 years who have set their basic career or something which is on a good path who doesn't have to think about the next day's meal they are getting too much interested into fitness in fitness when they come to fitness then they are like biohacking and everyone is like I've seen it a lot wellness is not something which which you can take it for granted.

1:47:40When you talk about wellness, you go to a gym, get into a diet plan. But the moment you start looking at a deeper level of genetics, you understand that it's all wrong. It's not wrong. It's all wrong. It's all wrong. Thank you so much for watching the episode until the end. Now you have to do three things. First of all, subscribe to this channel. Because as much as you subscribe, we will get better and valuable guests for you. Number two, in the comments tell me what you like and what bad so that we can repeat those mistakes and which guest you want to see in our podcast so that we can take them and give you more value and number 3 you have to share this episode with someone else because one conversation can change someone's life I'll see you next time until then keep figuring out

1:48:37Thank you.
