In short

The episode explains the economics of owning and operating private jets/helicopters in India—purchase prices, operating costs, why the industry is “profit-making,” how charters are booked via brokers/operators, and safety/regulatory constraints. It also argues that private aviation demand is driven by VVIP/state protocol, business charters, and air ambulance needs, and discusses how accessibility might improve via “seat selling” models.

Guest backgrounds

Abhinav Tripathi is founder and CEO of JR Airlines. He describes himself as a young airline owner building an ecosystem aimed at letting people book private jets from a phone (even for mid-income earners, per his claim). He also references prior experience in air-ambulance/aviation use cases as the origin of his business ideas.

Key claims

  • India has roughly 400–500 private helicopters/jets total (he cites ~215 private jets and ~221 helicopters in one estimate).
  • Single-engine helicopters are restricted for VVIPs due to DGCA/government protocol; twin-engine is preferred.
  • Charter demand is high because operators are scarce (he says ~136 operators).
  • Brokers can inflate “all-in” pricing by adding repositioning, landing/parking, and GST.
  • Owning/operating can be profitable: he gives an example of ~₹25 crore annual cost vs ~₹36 crore revenue, implying ~₹7–8 crore profit.
  • He claims many “owners” profit via leasing/structure and not fully reflecting costs in books.

Notable examples

  • A minister reportedly refused to fly when told a starter generator issue existed; Tripathi uses it to explain misconceptions about “one engine running.”
  • He cites aircraft categories and examples: Learjet 40XR (light), Learjet 60 (mid), Global 6000/Gulfstream (heavy), plus helicopter models like Augusta 109/169 and Airbus 160.
  • “Pay for your journey, not aircraft journey” concept: he describes offering fixed flying hours (e.g., 100 hours/year) and waiving landing/parking and air-ambulance for family, claiming rapid registrations.
  • Safety risks discussed include birds, crowded-city landing restrictions, and helicopter operational limits (DM/police permissions, no-fly zones).

0:00Private jet is a loss-making or a profit-making? Profit-making. In this country, we have a helicopter and private jet. Let's go, we have to connect all the Airbus and Boeing. How many registered are you? 3 ,000. Whereas in the US, it's 30 ,000. A person has a personal park in the backyard in the home. How many of these are, a single-engine helicopter? A B-3 helicopter is approximately around 40 crore rupees in India. Double? Double engine, you know, the new aircraft can start from 70-80 crore and it goes up to 800-900 crore. And you know, all the VVIPs, these state heads, chief minister, governor, cabinet minister, they cannot sit in a single engine helicopter.

0:43Why? Because it's a protocol, it's a safety protocol by government of India and DGC. Our country, today you are buying a car, they judge it. But these are straight heads. They have to say who has a helicopter. Who is the most use case now? Charters as in yet has been always much more utilized by the business owners. Helicopters is by politicians. By the political parties. Nowadays all these religious gurus are using it so much. That's a different industry. Baba and Guruji pay? No, they go to their bhakti gun. They go to their own. They go to their first. They don't need any trouble. Full advance.

1:21Is there any demand for someone? Generally, small town politicians have a demand for them. In a operation of a politician, a politician said that we will go 6 people. He said that it's CT 5, how will they go? I'll go and go and go. And he's a bad guy. What do they do? What are the worst experiences or weird things? They're going to eat and eat. What are you talking about? Are there scams which happen in this industry? S1版 help

2:00Notes

2:18without without He keeps the rituals again. That it will come. Now I will show you like this. The love of the city has been lost. And he's completely happy.

2:49listen to the new episodes as well. Our today's guest is one of the youngest airline owners in the country and he is building the ecosystem that could one day let anyone earning even 50 ,000 rupees a month book a private jet from their phone. I'm talking about Abhinav Tripathi, founder and CEO of JR Airlines. In this episode, we'll discuss what's the actual cost of owning and operating a private jet? How do the rich and powerful book private aircraft? What are the biggest safety risks in aviation that passengers never see? And can private flying really become as accessible as booking a cab? Watch this episode till the end.

3:39Private jet is loss-making or profit-making? Profit making I tell you Though people book losses on their books That's a different story But I'll tell you What do you think about this country? How many private jets will have you? Helicopter and private jet Only 500 Only 500 500 private jet in the country Helicopter and helicopter How many helicopters will have you? I thought exactly the number of people It was 221 And private jet was 215 So 221 helicopter And 215 private jet just just I have all the other corporate I have to count on Reliance and Adanis and they have huge fleet 10-10, 15-15 fleet I have to count on the whole group and I have to count on all this so you have to go away 50 hours which you can use your own you can never give it to you you have to look at the number that you have to find it less 400 500 private jets private jets which I said 50-60 I also have helicopters so I have mixed in one way that 400-500 private jet helicopter 50-60 reduce it 400-100 I will tell you about helicopter and then I will take it on the private jet journey so let's say 200 helicopter the number of single engine helicopter the country has is around 150-160 and the number of twin engine helicopter that the country has is around 4044 to be specific and you know all the VVIPs these state heads chief minister, governor cabinet minister or minister of any sort or even the ex-minister they cannot sit in a single engine helicopter because it's a protocol it's a safety protocol by government of India and DGCA so you're saying how many helicopters will be in it 200 200 because they are private and they are also and here also 200 okay helicopter you said there are two types one single engine one double engine how many are you single?

5:54single you are 150 so all are single or largely? largely and double double is around 40-44 how many are you single engine helicopter? see in India I mean, no brand new would have been but, like, there will be 10-15 players who will have new helicopter to buy so, if you will take a new then, a B3 like a helicopter would be approximately 4 million euros approximately in Indian currency if I convert around 40 crore rupees in Indian 45 crore of a new new and old old 15-20 crore 10-12 crore and a double engine double engine you know the new aircraft can start from 70-80 crore and it goes up to 800-900 crore okay it's a very big limit very big limit but 70-100 CR and old old 20-25 crore 30 crore okay you have written a good number it's 2.5 million USD you can get a good twin engine second hand now you are telling me in this 200-500 no one can travel no one can do why is it safe?

7:27safe but obviously twin engine is more safe and we should have to sit in our state heads. What is the difference? The difference is the stability of the difference. People think that if it is single engine, it will be one engine. And if it is two engines, it will become good balance. Let me tell you, it's not the case. It's bullshit. But it provides the stability to the aircraft, but in a very different way. like double engine in that engine power is much much better if one engine gets worse the second engine comes in the picture and it provides the stability of a single engine aircraft after that you have to report DGCA immediately you have to correct it and then only you can fly a very reputed minister once told me he called me in a very furious mood and he said I don't know your pilots are telling me that you know they cannot fly one engine is not working so there are starter generators so there are two engines there is two starter generators both starter generators electricity then engines are functional so if you don't work one starter generator then that side of the engine will not work that side of the starter generator will not work my pilot must have told him you know that sir one starter generator is not working so we cannot fly today so he called me he said I have a very important meeting I have to reach Jaibur and what are you doing I said sir if he is not running and the pilot is running it could be a safety concern he said but one is running I was like sir my license will go my pilot's license will go and I will be jailed so I told him this and he was like but no one is running So this misconception is that one engine is running If a twin engine is running, it becomes worse than a single engine aircraft At least single engine aircraft is designed in a manner where in the single engine is capable of flying Now I am coming to these numbers So see 150, 50 So now suppose we are sitting right now and you have to book a helicopter a single engine or a double engine what will you do right now and you don't have me in your contact list you will go and google it how to book private charter so the moment you will google you will get to get 10-20 brokers not the operators there are only 136 operators in this country okay right and out of who have plane license license license and then DGCA listed that this has one so in order to have a non-seduled operator permit you need to have one helicopter at least or one jet at least registered on your name or you a lease so you should been books so now many brokers will call you now they will tell you where to go and you have to go to Mumbai to Delhi okay so you have to go to Mumbai to Delhi you will tell me the pricing immediately what a broker does 10-15 people call operators where is your helicopter where is your jet so in Mumbai to Delhi it's insane nobody does that in general because multiple pits and stops take away So we are talking about a jet right now.

11:22So it has asked 10 people to say that he is standing in Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur. So suppose that in Mumbai there is no private jet. Just taking an example. So what will he do? Where is the nearest? Let's say Bangalore. So he will come to Bangalore. Then you will leave Mumbai from Delhi. Then you will go to Delhi. Then you will go to Bangalore back to Delhi. There will be a pricing. that the number of hours that you fly in the middle of the day and then and then Mumbai landing then the landing parking charges Delhi then Bangalore now let's say the operator has said I am giving you a lierget and this is 4 ,000 ,000 ,000 per hour costing so he will you will Sir 4 ,30 ,000 per hour Plus GST Plus landing parking charges And it's costing around It's coming out around 5 to 6 hours Now you calculate 5-6 hours of money Calculate by 4 ,30 ,000 Multiply by 25-26 ,000 So how do you know That when you're only 5 hours or 6 hours You're in a clueless situation You have no clue that plane came from Bangalore from the truth.

12:45The mind that he said. The mind that he said. Now tell us that such money can be lost making. In which the client doesn't have no clue to know the transparency. There is no clue. This is just one way. My way of telling you is that people have become a lot of money. And how they build. And how the industry is profitable. And how it's going. and broker to do nothing like that at least the operator in the aircraft investment and bought it he is keeping a pilot a lot of pilots a helicopter for a minimum 3 pilots need 2 which are operational one should be back end same category of 2 aircraft then you need 7 pilots then you have mechanical team operations team aircraft maintenance agency you have a lot of cost which you are incurring since you are an operator.

13:44You are making money on the basis because the scarcity is there. Only 50 are. Now, there are 30 states in India. Every state, one chief minister, one governor and two deputy CMs we know now we remove the rest of the list of ministers. So, 30 states into 4 state heads is 120. But every state head needs a little private jet. But they reserve it. but every state does it and there are probably 5-10 states where there will not be enough budget UP has bought its own helicopter UP makes sense bigger Maharashtra bigger Tamil Nadu consider UP as a poor state but as a state money is very big GDP is very strong you as per your perspective tell me a state which you think doesn't have it and I will tell you exactly that which state which helicopter is in that state definitely north eastern states are blessed with this one Tripura, Nagaland Hanji Hanji Nagaland we have given our services for two months I myself has given the services to the government interesting see every state see India when you talk about government definitely in some private jets I am talking about helicopters they keep on a reserve basis and I will tell you the best thing our industry is saying that if you give the state aircraft to you you don't think 5 years because it is less than that and the money is full so suppose I am giving so it is like 3 lakh rupees per hour 40-45 hours minimum commitment for 5 years so 40 hours into 3 lakh rupees is somewhere around 1.2 crore rupees and chief minister is not a little bit 10 hours he does not utilize so he is still big he is still for his reserve hours which is necessary also for a CM it's very necessary because now I am going to explain use case, I can explain how much helicopter is.

16:05When the private jet speed is good, it can be faster, the journey that 3 hours will be done, it will be done, then it will be done. What is the necessity? The necessity is that you cannot make it. You cannot make it. In every climatic situation, every type of land scalability, you can do it. You cannot do it. You can make it. for you to make a heliport for a day that will be temporary. For a day, you can take permission from local DM. So, you can enter anywhere. You can enter anywhere. So, this is necessary to reserve. And in a bigger state, when will come, you never know. So, they reserve it.

16:50And some states are like, which have 2-3 states. Bihar has 2-3 helicopters in their kitty. Why? I think it's a governor, a CM to a, 50 CM to a, two are there. So two say, we have to say one to two. You know, what is our country, today you have to buy which car car, now you judge. But the state heads, they have to say, which helicopter has to be. Now I will tell you how to tell you. We operate two helicopters, Augusta 109 Power. it's a good machine in 2014 to 2020 it used to be the dream of people to sit into it because Augusta was popular it was 5-6 seats it's a cabin we'll put a picture here definitely I'll send you those pictures as well now we've come Augusta better machine 139-169 Augusta 169 Europe is very successful in Europe because there is no dusty environment so where there is more dust there is a dust in the engine so dust is more than you so you have to put a chamber it's like a filter engine filters are called so dust can keep it so engine can be completed given number of hours now the demand is more than you and I tell you which is the manufacturer, he didn't build engine frames.

18:33Now, because it was in India, it was a big supply, so India had to go to the reverse, but if we buy our engine hours for 4000 hours, then they will be lost in 3000 hours. In this case, we had a deal cancelled ourselves. We were bringing 169 from UK. Because we thought, if we charge 4000 hours, I was going to charge 5 ,000 ,000 rupees so now you will charge 3 ,000 rupees and I don't know how long these filters will be how it will be so machines are a very favorite subject and the biggest thing is 169 is a very safer machine then there is this Airbus 160 it's favorite for who? for the state heads I mean the Bihar chief minister uses that machine Airbus 160 Interesting So helicopter was one Private jet How many will it be?

19:32How many types are there? Tell me that Now I tell you Private jet's economics Different way of working And its demand Both different way of working In India Which I've read last Somewhere around 108 unicorns Okay In every unicorn You can pick up 50-100 CXOs For the ease of calculation we have 100 so we have 100 so we have 100 not 100 we have 100 unicorns and 100 unicorns will be 100 CXOs I am talking about everybody not just the CEOs like I say CXOs CMO CFO CEO but in India unicorns I know they are not flying private jet I will tell you I am flying it is very little 108 how many you are doing very little 30-30 unicorns which founders are flying private jet I'll tell you how For the ease of calculation 100 to 100 multiply 10 ,000 people Then you come up with the list Of the listed companies in the country Including Reliance So Reliance The first 30-40 important people Core people 50 people Their aircraft Dedicated And after that There is a very long chain Okay 200 people will be more 200 people over you will pick 20 companies in India you will pick 20 companies Reliance is very popular but there are also Adani, Punawa group there are going cars Bidli companies then there is again government coming in picture so government in this case I agree that state heads have very few states which are reserved for private jet but still there are states like Maharashtra ठीक है जहांके और एक रख दिया गया एक state के लिए कि अगर CM को अचानक से central में report करना है तो then there is that lobby तो आप ऐसा ये पूरा एक ecosystem को देखोगे and then there is air ambulances वो भी इसी में है तो then there अब हम इसको अगर zero से calculate number one से calculate करें तो there is one unicorns okay number two very established organizations listed companies then there are bunya driven companies who has a lot of money but undisclosed then there is your air ambulance segment and air ambulance can also need anyone because I have came from that situation where this idea came from so that means anybody who is even earning 3-4 lakh rupees a month if it is needed to use it and those numbers are very large I mean how do you tell us daily phones and availability is not available because in private jet you have a segment you have a air ambulance permission and you have a convertible seat so this is a very huge number when you see that it is 200 vehicles and you will think that 50 or 40 will be reserved for the year somewhere or somewhere some state head has reserved or some private man has reserved that you will keep me now there are many meetings for 6 months, which are 6 months or 8 months so if we check at any given point and time instantaneously then we will also remove 50 aircraft so the demand is very much then there are celebrities I don't do a count.

23:15Okay, so this is a lot of demand. Yes. I only have 200. What type of jets are there? 3-4 different types. It's single and double. There are turbo props. And double engine jets. And the heighted one. The complexity of them is different. I understand different. Yes, I understand different. طریقے سے سمجھاتے ہوں. اس میں light weight, mid weight اور heavy weight jets ہوتے ہیں. Okay. Light weight, mid weight اور heavy weight.

But it's still it's a very well to do aircraft. Just to give you an example we have one layer jet 40XR it's a lightweight jet it has a top flying speed of approximately 0.82 mach 0.82 mach is huge it can do Delhi Bombay in like 1 hour and 15 minutes the flying time mid weight from mid weight category approximately 7000-8000 sometimes it has the standing cabins Thoda zhada luxury aata hai Jaisi layer jet 60 XR Sorry layer jet 60 not XR So we have the layer jet 60 also Then comes the heavyweight category Aircrafts Where you talk about aircrafts like Falcon Gulfstream 400 Global 5000, 6000 We have one global 6000 as well with us So these are the categories And global 6000 Or global 8000 Or Gulfstream 800 these are dream aircrafts you have a cabin inside you have multiple things inside so global 6000 in second hand second hand industry will be around 22 million 20 million a good one 20 million US dollars approximately 180 crore rupees a good one old or new old newer will come in 500 crore brother and never you will be able to then in truth the loss making industry will be 200 crore and this 200 crore old old old a good aircraft and in mid mid mid so the Learjet 60 XR sorry 60 I'm talking about XR because 40 XR bought this comes to 40 45 crore second hand 45 crore mid weight light weight can come in 30-35 crore this is old never 70-80 crore 70-80 crore 70-80 crore 90-100 crore how many people can come in people can come in turbo prop and they don't come in and they come in and they come in 7

26:327 7 7 7 7 How many people here? You think 7-10 12 All types of aircraft are coming 13 and above It's a crew you said a good term so you know crew compulsority in these aircrafts I mean you can fly this one without crew also but the crew on this one is compulsory that 2DGCA registered or FAR registered or IASA registered these are the repatriated organization of respective countries and then this is how many people in the helicopter like single engine 6 people and 6 people come to this but this is the basic mark double engine hourly rate so double engine will somewhere it will start around 2.5 lakh rupees plus GST this will start from 1 lakh 1 lakh 10 thousand difference engine this is 4 lakh rupees per hour 4.5 4.6 this goes from 5 lakhs and goes up to 20 lakh rupees per hour different jets 15 seat good aircraft like global 6000 which we have taken example that it is 200 crore in international market we get around 15 ,000 USD per hour 15 lakhs, 14 lakhs, how much is it?

28:25India people sit around it, there's so much capacity range that it this international flag is not a 100 % 100 % so let me tell you a very interesting story that we have done very recently two months back and we have 15 people on board with us so like I told you that you are actually paying for the aircraft journey not of your journey so you went to Delhi from Mumbai in our conversation so you gave 5 hours of money so we have recently came up with an idea why you my brand name is Care Taxi which we have to launch in helicopters in next 6 months that's a different thing so we said when we will do it we will do something in charter that we are thinking and we are talking about scalability की बात कर रहे हैं और जो हम value of money देने की बात कर रहे हैं उसमें हम क्या कर सकते हैं तो हमने हमारी close flyers की circle में एक plan भेजा कि sir pay for your journey not your aircraft journey तो उसमें लोगों ने बोला कैसे तो हमने का भीया आपसे 100 घंटे का पैसा में को चाहिए साल का और 100 घंटे

30:08I'm not going to charge you for your aircraft coming for Sat Jaipur then you're sitting then you're going to return I said all this no landing parking charges will not be taken from you and for you and your immediate family the air ambulance throughout the year is free I will not reduce the air ambulance used hour from the main hours so my 5-6 registrations within a week so one or two people said but my journey We mostly fly outwards. We go Dubai a week or two times. So this is a use case for us. So we have to improve. If you go to India to India, then you go to 50 yards. We will half the rates.

30:54But we don't have international journey. But if you take 100 or 200 hours, then we will buy money. And we will give you 100 hours. We will give you 8 hours. So if your flying range is maximum Middle East, so you have 100 hours and you say I go to New York or two or five times or London so you have 200 hours so people say interesting but you will lose I said how is it? and this is the actual reality so suppose you have to fly to Delhi to London so you have to fly to Learjet because you have 5 times land and 4 times so you have to fly I will take a business class for 3-4-5 lakh rupees. And the person who is doing something good in life, 2-5-3 lakhs, people who are employing, they don't need to layer jet.

31:44They need to get global 5 ,000, global 6 ,000. Global 6 ,000 does daily London in approximately 7-8 hours. It's a flying speed. So, the costing of its big-big, is about 15 lakh rupees into 6 hours, into 2, because then landing parking charge, London charges around 7 lakh rupees. In the opinion of the Indian. Delhi Mumbai charges you around. Dubai charges around 3 lakh rupees per landing. So I said this is all done. You go 8 hours. We will charge you for only flying time. And we registered 17 people. In 20 days. When you give a year, it will be 100 hours. How many people? No, not as many people.

32:34No one has 4 ,000 ,000. But you will recover 4 ,000 ,000 ,000 and 15 ,000 ,000 in flight? What did I do? I gave 8 hours for international flying hours. And the rest of the 92 hours is for local flying. Now it's balanced. But then you will go to international flights? Yes. 100%. We have this clause that we will never give you a turbo prop. If you fly in India, we will not give you a C-90, B-200. we will not fly in India, we will give you a minimum layer jet or citation or excelsis or good category of proper jet recognized and regular flyers from them, they will know what is trying to sell me. So, we will give them.

33:17And in international, you will not have to land twice or thrice. Maximum one landing in case of you are going to New York. । Se ka ni dou Mo Thank So Would Candy it gave me a discount. And now, I have so many flying hours, I have so many people's flying hours, or my company's flying hours, that I'm charging this one-way. So now, you understand that, the person was giving 300 hours of flying for 100 hours, and they were going to be in part-part.

34:07That's 100 hours. That's 100 hours. And this is our advantage, we have so much surplus amount from my own clients is coming directly to us. That I don't have to go to any bank to buy an aircraft. I mean, I can use that amount. And the idea is to reach to 100, 150 more clients. That's why I was very confident when I told you that. In unicorns, we have 100 unicorns. And I see everyone as a market. And because... Yes, market debit today is not flying. I'm saying this. There will be people who will be ready to pay. But they are not using right now. Look, I'm giving you a statement. I will be very disappointed.

34:45I will be surprised but I will tell you that a unicorn is a startup when investors money comes to the first job and does private jet book. I am not telling that every month he is booking. I differ that because I know many founders. There are some things that they do, but many founders, at least in India, don't do all these things. At least they are at unicorn level. They have raised serious money from 1000-2000-5000 crores. race कर लिया होता है अब चलो तक पॉझने कि तुमें 500-700 करोड़ तो race मलब कर नहीं होता है बिलकुल तो और at a very lower stakes तो 500-700 करोड़ अगर तुमने race कर रहा है तो तुम सीरिस हो जाते हो तुम फाल तुछीज़ों पैसा वैसे ही you're very serious about making your company bigger but why am I so adamant what I'm saying because I'm seeing that on a regular basis I'm seeing two people every month so if I've seen 15-20 people then what's my thought process?

35:42what are you doing? what are you doing? interesting so tell me just like private jet business break down what's the cost? we've only got the cost of jet I have this so I have this oh amazing I mean, if you are an operator, then you bought it. So, what is your purchase? Yes, it is. So, the purchase of your purchase is 50 crore. So, this is true. Okay. Done. So, then, I mean, this is 50 crore. Right. So, how much money you have to fill up front? 100%. 100%. So, you have to loan something? No. In India, aviation, it's a very good question, you have asked Raj. I mean I literally thank you for asking this one and I request the authorities to look into it I met the chairman of Bank of India and I'm taking the name directly chairman of Bank of India I met him he said you know my team has this doubt in their mind that suppose if I pay for this one even the half of it what if you fly it out of the country tomorrow consider it risky this movable asset so you don't give it to it what are you talking about only 5 % maximum like bank or badoda had a helicopter and it's very subjective the loan that's the authority of the loan that's the credit head how much you can convince it it's completely on that in general this industry is negative in general I'm again saying this industry is negative banks consider us as a negative because years of example are very bad in airline subdues 100 % in airline business subdues from Air India beginning Sahara Kingfisher Jet Airways all the big names down so I explained this first stop comparing a bus company with a Mercedes scheduled operators are bus 5-5 ,000 seats it's not a bad business it's a very good business every operator one day wants to become that that's a separate story but you compare one thing with such players

38:05you have a non scheduled operator permit which is a example that is gone and gone honestly then I said another thing suppose you have a VT registered aircraft VT is in India which aircraft are in India VT so it's the Viceronian territory so because we have been now we have kept VT so it's going to be running we have requested the government also that it's BH do VT seems to be very good anyway so I said if DGCA has registered an aircraft then it's in India it's not like I will take away from Dubai or Europe. So Europe's regulatory body will tell me that if you have one month, go and leave. And then I will cross their border to one hour.

39:05I have to come one time. From their territory. So I said, sir, it doesn't happen that I will take away from it. There are regulations. If there is a VT registered aircraft, there is no DGCA certified engineer. I can't do a job in one month. What will I do? Non-DGCA certified pilot I can't do a job in that. How will I do it? Ultimately, he or she has to come back to India to report. Their fear is valid. Nobody can take a plane. It's not technically possible, Raj. How people do it, I tell you. But you can take a lot of islands. But how do you do it? I'll show you with an example. Now we are doing an island of mine.

39:49There are these aircraft to be registered for private. Now we see it. Request for AMC support for Learjet 40XR delivery in mid August Delhi Base. Okay. We have registered M. M is IOMR registration, Isle of Mine Aircraft registration. We have a clause that we have to go out every 15 days. So, you have to fill up 50 crore offerant. Yes. But those people give you an option to buy, they give you an option to buy your EMI. Yes, at least come purchase. There are options like that. 6 million aircraft is, 2 million I have to give you up front and 4 million I have to give you M &I.

40:402 years ago, 3 years ago. So you have to sign me and I have to give you aircraft India. Aircraft India to me will have to give me DGCA certification. I will give you that I will give you a lease purchase. And I have to sign this to sign me. You have to give this induction. So my non-studded operator permit permit this aircraft has been inducted. Now you sit outside. You don't have India's entity. What's your duty on the DGCA? I brought it. I didn't have the IMI. What did I do? And people who are selling 6 million aircraft like a old car, they don't have that time to come here and fight legal battles.

41:26So what they have done globally is to blacklist our country. And that's a shame. I mean, I'm saying this. They don't have private jets. They don't have money. They don't have money. and it's very wrong and it's very wrong so international bodies this is the biggest cause that in our country the aircraft is so low I would have to take a jet in 40 crore I would have to take a jet in 40 crore I would have to take 10 jet jet and I would have to solve 50 % problem which I have explained to you that I would have to fly 100 km it would be easier to fly I would have to park 10 feet that I would park my aircraft and say, you come here, you give this amount of money.

42:06Then you go from here, you give this amount of money. Which is my ultimate dream. I'm already in touch with Airbus, Boeing and all these organizations. That, brother, you talk to me 50 aircraft lease. For that, I can make any company that you can give your security and what I can request from my government. So, you tell me. So, we are still in touch. That's a different part which we are trying to do. But, I'm telling you what I'm doing now. Raj, it's a very negative thing. Interesting. India in India, how many people have bought jet and have not sold the money? I don't know the 20-25 people. I mean, I know the 20-25 aircraft.

42:39I don't know the 20-25 aircraft. I know the owners of 4-5. They are different countries. They are different countries. Their passport is blacklisted. They don't go out. They understand that they buy and then they go. It's a very wrong thing. Okay, coming back to this. So, this is 50 crore upfront. Then, after that, after the year the fuel cost is how much fuel cost is? one example, this is my 3 ,000 hours of engine cycle so, 3 ,000 hours after this I have to change engines how much time can I go? how much time can I go? 600 hours per year you can go up 600-700 hours and for 600-700 hours I have commitment to 8900 hours.

43:31People have to use the arts laps. Like I took a hundred people for a hundred hours, I took a hundred hours. But all will be a little. That I understand. How much life is going to be? You think 600 hours from actual hours. So, you will be utilized for 5-7 years. So, that's not enough. My aircraft has MSP. MSP is a way of warranty. What do you do? that every hour you fly you have 100 or 150 dollars you have Honeywell engine manufacturer and the Learjet engine manufacturer is Honeywell so we have 150 hours per hour we have to take separate account in their account it's an escrow account so 600 hours 150 to 600 so after 3000 hours I will go to them and will give them new engines and priority.

44:28It's kind of a subscription that I will pay. Correct. Correct. Correct. But if you think that you have 50 crore, it will be 10 crore per year. Correct. Correct. 10 crore per year, then fuel. Fuel, you think you are running 600 hours, then you put 1 ,000 ,000 fuel and go. before in 100 ,000... PURGANT boa

45:22perfect then on number 5 maintenance maintenance this is almost okay we can put it on higher side to the half half half now comes the very interesting part landing and handling and trip cost we come to our model in general it's always on the client it's always on the client interesting but then you will get 1 ,000 crore in the year yes so 1 CR actually all are correct then hangers and parking charges I'm saying that this is all and this is always the client but the number is correct so this is both of them and it will be 2 crore then insurance I give you a example of that this is a 15 crore because recently I have to give you a 15 crore we give 4 ,000 ,000 ,000 per quarter into 3 and we give 12 ,000 ,000 ,000 40 ,000 ,000 ,000 ,000 ,000 insurance and training, admin, compliance cost 1 crore 1 crore 1 crore so the cost would be 25 crore 22-25 crore 20 crore that your cost is hidden cost is nothing no nothing this is a big one and in general operators will be 1-2 crore and minus so I will give you 22-25 crore now you talk about 25 crore 25 crore a year of a jet now how much profit does it make the year pay attention understand that in a big one year there is 25 % of a pay attention 36 crore in a revenue we are doing 25 % which is a very good number very very good number very big now Raj, I will tell you an interesting thing now I will tell you 25 crore profit I will tell you another interesting thing in 36 no, you said it was 25 % so 25 crore 25 % would be 25 crore 25 crore is our cost we have this cost we have this cost 36 crore our revenue so the revenue is 25 % our profit around 7-8 crore more now I will come to the other story 1 per plane of 1 crore now you can explain that I will explain that we have 10 crore which was the cost of aircraft breakage so it is not right that

48:415-6 Kroad So as that engine came, my life cycle has increased. 5-6 years. And technically, if I have seen the modernity and the usage of aircraft, if I have been running a aircraft for 10 years, then it will be 5 crore. So why do people are dumping money in this business? Where do you not understand what you are understanding? No, not all. They are not thinking about it. Nobody has ever thought about it. They are not showing in the books.

49:16it's not possible sir you can say that you came to me in the city in the first time ambassador car I would send you to the airport

49:30let's say we are in 1990 1995 I would send you to the ambassador you got to know that this is the biggest man you got to get to the ambassador car and I said and he said, my father, I will invest in your house 5 crore rupees. So, it's a very high impression that if you get a profit, then you will be able to do it. So, those who have not aircraft, but still they are leasing it to show to people and they are making money out of it. It's not a calculation. And people do this. People do this. Just as you said, that they show their flashy lifestyle. So what happened to them? What was the profit from them?

50:17What was the benefit? Impression. So what was the benefit from the impression? That's why they get a deal. But that's why a deal gets a deal. I get a deal. I get it. Give me an example. Many doctors in the country are doing it. Doctors? You heard that 4 people are buying a charter in share. So why are they doing it? that's how it happened, now the cars are also coming to that level, that 12 million Scorpio is selling 4 people. In every product and segment that is happening. But in this bigger side of the industry, what happens is that that a 16 or 20 crore has been selling 5 or 4 people has been selling 4 or 5 crore.

51:01Now they all are the owners. And I know a couple of non-tributed operator permits which gave their licenses that they said I will maintain this aircraft I will keep my NSOP so I will keep a fee let's say I will give my NSOP Raja to the Raja you can buy an aircraft and list it on me so that you can buy two two benefits that you have 20 crore if you have a non-scheduled operator permit then you have just 5 % if you have a name individually then you have 40 % in luxury goods I have to pay 35 % Number one Number two You have to pay 5 % Taxation You have to pay 5 % Another You have to pay maintenance I don't have to pay How do you keep my pilots I don't have to pay I don't have to pay monthly 5 ,000 ,000 ,000 ,000 A small aircraft 10 ,15 ,000 ,000 ,000 Maintenance is on me Everything is on me Now you have to say What do you do When you have to pay You don't have to pay But When I need 50 hours 100 hours for a year you will give me you will give me you will charge me rest of the time you will take a commercial and you will take a profit so why is that I will take a 50 hours myself people who have put this aircraft I think 50 hours 15 hours I get that you are saying political benefits political benefits fit mil raha hai logo ko jet mounne se mil raha hai politicians ko obilize kar raha hai there is a term people are obilizing mطلب ab abo aapko ek state mein kama lena hai abo aap ek state ke head ko aapne bola ki sir this is my charter it's a standing for you only you're in the good book you're in a very good book oh tu kisi minister ko dekhe ki sir ya apke liye mera charter sir bhi oda raha hai maa am hi oda raha hai

53:03haa to sir khush hai But you are a very good host, I tell you. You have to get out of me inside. I thought that I will never tell this on any platform. But he is still wrong. If you have friends, it is wrong. Good or bad? People understand the story. People will see someone right. Some business person will see him. And that will see him. Some person will see him and he will say he is wrong. Some politician will see him wrong. Let them. Sir, you are saying that many people take jets from you private hours I don't know, many people There is an ex-business owner who knows that he is a very big business owner and he has been working on this day for many years from the XYZ minister People have left it specifically to take a monthly or yearly lease that this state will be going here for 3 years and I will go here for 3 years I will keep this charge here because this minister is my friend so he will give it to him and that is why I have said what I said interesting and this will happen in every state no one is a business owner it will happen in every state it's a very this is what happened let's go to the use case right how are you taking doctors?

54:29How are you taking the doctors? In the state, there are land on the lease. In some state. How would you get to get the hospital? Do you need something? You can see that there are very big doctors. They come to the private jet and sign the deal. So now they have so big their names in other states. They have so big that they have to be free. That type. Do you think that the government has to be able to get the officers? impression on their ministers pass on that you are a big man in the jet it's a big difference it's like people tell you people become your enemy also that they will tell you you will tell you as you make friends you will tell you as you make hidden friends that also happens there are pros in the jet correct let the government change

55:25bird has a big problem private jet or private copter helicopter helicopter example so easily understand when planes hit so DGCA rule you have to immediately land you don't have to trip don't do you have to land if you have a plane you have to plane you have to see it's big stories now helicopter fans open and they fly and the tail rotor is on the tail. The fan is straight balancing. If you hit it on the tail, it will crash 100 % because your aircraft will go back. Because it will give stability, not back. Your aircraft will go back. When you are going to go back to 80 knots, 70 knots, how will you do land?

56:25So, biggest risk in flying is the bird. It's just a bird. It's just a bird. A plane crash will happen from one foot. A plane crash will happen here. So, there are a lot here. So, that's why it's not coming. There are permission of flying height. Tell me, can't do helicopter anywhere? Can't go inside the city? permission the DM has to give the permission no like Mumbai helicopters are not allowed right in a particular zone but in the city you can't get it that is a zone like Delhi there is no allowed because there are Luteans so you know you have gone to someone's house and that minister also so this is the biggest risk and the highly crowded areas are not allowed to be there, that you are falling and you will go inside 2-4 and out of 20 switches.

57:28Okay. Because it's a... What is this? It's a fuel tank. It's a fire tank. And you have 100 gallon fuel and you have to take it. So you will go ahead. It's a lot of damage. It's not allowed. It's crowded cities. Cities crowded points so let's say really influential families now if they're in the city for example andhari andhari jana andhari andhari a very big business he made a house he didn't get permission he didn't get he didn't get why didn't he it's more for his security also if you go to the sea then you will take a half or three hours in traffic so a helicopter makes much more sense and the rich person can afford it but it's not allowed for the safety and security purpose only though I have to say if you have to ask me personally it should be allowed but how many people will be in Mumbai because how many people are sir, it's a good thing because if you have a helicopter Let me put this across to you in a different manner.

58:51Now we talked about 400-500 helicopters and private jets. Let's go, we have to join our Airbus and Boeing. How many registered are you? Three thousand. Whereas in the US it's thirty thousand. It's a person in the backyard in the house. So I would rather say, I will put this across in a manner that the authorities have to see in a more mature lens from a more mature lens that you can see this way plan it in a better manner if you have trust that that it will not crash from the sea then why will it crash from the sea you have trust that you have to get to your operators and it will slowly come there are no flying zones flying zones there are no term i think that our - Airlines or company's brand name, which you can write DGCA, you can write a license, you can write it.

1:00:20Then, customization of direct rate is a direct rate. So, in that direct rate, there are 5 or 6 directs in DGCA. So, there is a direct rate which you can write proper data. and you tell me how is it relevant to your organization or what is that your, you know, you shouldn't have any exceptional commercial benefit. Now, if I say I want to call a brand promotion on my charter, I want to cancel a brand promotion. So, I'm afraid to cancel it. Okay. So, I get this because it's based on the promotion. But you're doing it then. You're doing it then. You're doing it. Do you like it? Yes, we have to take customization Because the placard is made For example, we have 7-8 fit So it costs 10 lakh rupees What can you do on the plate?

1:01:22I can't write the rules I can't write the rules I can't write the demeaning statements I can't write the brand promotion I can't do commercial use I can't do political parties I can't motivate like BJP Congress can't even write it's like BJP flying this Congress flying this or some party flying this because it's a mode of promotion now you have the charter permission got and when it feels like that you are going to any state election and the last voting 4 days before it feels like you don't do any party promotion so you have no promotion so you don't have to

1:02:06you only said that I already knowсshwordas and biologyas I know so many 10 people that they can't see doide doide doise doide doide doide where there is a helicopter that connects swТак 20 ,000 losers 10-5000 goes north the guy helicopter did the guy helicopter did I will share a video. We have a place in Nagina, where we have a wedding for a helicopter. Sir, you will see that there are 5000 people. And so, where the helicopter landing is, the government has a proper mandate, that you will have to take the approval of the police. And you have to take the approval of the police. So, the police are 10-15 people.

1:02:57Obviously, people from the police. But you will have to sort it. So we generally don't take it on ourselves. So landing is a very different game. But let's say if an ex-person comes to you and says, Sir, I have to fly from Bombay to Bombay. So you will sort it for that. You will sort it for that. Landing, parking, we will sort it. But like many people who say that we don't want to fly from Bombay to Bombay. We have to make a helipad in my house. to make the permission of the company. We say, you make it, then we will land. Okay, that's on the top of them. If you are in the front of the company, you should tell us about the company.

1:03:40Simple agent is here. I'm not a married person, I'm not a very good person. You have to pay for it. But I feel like, even after being an aircraft owner, and we have had a supply even before, I feel like it's a very wrong So, you can use a marriage Why do you use it? Now, you think that a guy South Africa was in the United States He was here He came to us And he had a helicopter book He was in South Africa He was in South Africa He was a citizen Why did he land on his own? You have to impress him If he was 10 months 10 months in the country what is getting from it better save that money for something bigger you buy a car for yourself you said in marriage why do people use helicopter now they go to the other side and they tell you that they came from helicopter from helicopter insane people are flying in the pool yeah they are flying in the pool they say it how much does it cost?

1:04:55how much time does it cost? it depends on which your nearest area is available like Delhi, it's about 5-6 million dollars but there is a distance portion where there is no helicopter now Delhi, Delhi, Delhi these are all places, Jaiapur so in Delhi generally 6-7 lakhs but if 5-6 lakhs people will be helicopter and people will be shocked to know that Eastern part of UP or Bihar in areas where helicopter is very far people 15-20 lakhs and they do push versa and I have to understand my team that I have to say I have to say that you have to say that you are spiritual and you think that all are the people you are now you are you are you are why not you are you are you are you are you are you are you are literally I have 3-4 clients in my office in my office why not which where we are besides 5-6-6-5 - stayed send and leave your mood it was certainly was no visibility but there where a month tell me spine because no visibility no visibility the risk is not when they came they asked double payse le le ja because for bad weather if you have a person and someone gets upset it's a loss to you sir we should see sir we should keep so I was just telling you that there was a big type of ego issue plain that is just he let I can't fun fun in the right industry okay let's come to cost if somebody if Mumbai a small share we would take Mumbai in other at least 10-12 lakh rupees if a member is not 10-12 lakh 10-12 lakh end to end and how many people 6-7 people 8 people 2 lakh rupees per ticket technically which is which is still not bad in India at this point, I will be talking about many people, I will be talking about that, and there will be many families who will be talking about that, I will be talking about that, which is our VAYU Air Taxi, VAYU in our mission is that we will sell a seat, that you have 5 friends, 6 friends, 6 people, sit on our charter and go to Mumbai, and to bring us back to that, we have 7 people here, maybe 50 ,000 people, so how I see this, is in a way that you can see that you are not a poor and a poor.

1:08:18There are layers to it. Ultra rich. Which need to say I don't share my seat with anyone. What do you do? You give me my charter. And there you will be standing when I don't come back. What money is getting? Only 40 ,000 ,000. 45 ,000. Listen. What should happen to eat? That is one category. They are all dealing with and they are self-regulated. they have two charter and they have to give me some company that I'm going to go so they have no tension this is how many families do this yes, okay so this is how many families do this they come down to a level they say okay, let me leave you in the morning hold me until the evening and I will come back and what money is made 1-2 ,000 ,000 ,000 negotiate I'll give you more money That is the second Then, start from below So, one layer is not Ola Uber's cap So, that's not our market And I think This is the way That's 6-7 ,000 ,000 ,000 So, our mission is That the first 2-3 ,000 ,000 ,000 If we can add two layers So, people who 6-7 ,000 ,000 ,000 ,000 India Medico

1:09:39E Freder Rome

1:09:56Elevently Less Charge Of It Christ experience is before helicopter to go there then it will give charter and group of custodians 4-5 people are buying 200-5000 hours so I'm with that market and the private jet market are they flying or are they actually parked how much is it utilized and how much is it actually 40-45 % but they're making money even if they're standing they're making the money because they're making money and they're making money and people know if this is not 1-2 months then my season is 7-8 months or when election comes like political parties then in election then you need to charge so you need to charge so you need to charge so you need to charge so you need to charge somewhere else and you need to go so so it's always a park for anyone interesting which is the best aircraft and the worst aircraft best private jet and worst private jet I can tell the best and worst for me Airbus 160 is the best helicopter for me and the worst is obviously the Rovins but in private jet I won't be able to say worst to anything why?

1:11:23if you say the C-90 if you say the one, you can tell C90 What is that? It's a five-sitter Turbo prop It's a lot of use for medical And now I had a company's gear That was taking a patient And he had to crash landing So what's that? And the best for me is Global 6000 What is Global 6000? It's a bigger jet It looks like a F-Bus it's much bigger jet this is 14-15 lakhs per hour this one's the correct 100 hours a month because on one trip 10-8 hours Mumbai, London and all of that correct so if it fly 10 days and 20 days you're giving 100 hours into 15 lakhs per hour revenue it's not the money I have always believed in one saying actually two things I'll tell both of them one is always deal in a bigger quantity of things whether it's weight wise whether it's volume wise you deal with 2 ,000 ,000 ,000 ,000 even if you're doing 1 % payse baut bant especially coming from a country like India I mean I'm not trying to demean my country I love my country like anything but we have to think more revenue centric and more businesses in this situation so that we are stronger and the other thing I believe especially when it comes to aviation like I always say that every take off and landing is an emergency event it's not serious it's emergency consider it emergency so I always say that we should follow six pieces of life which is six pieces proper prior planning prevents poor performance how do you hire pilots because a big problem in this business would be pilots right pilots in India commercial it's not proper and commercial shortage in private commercial shortages because you see aircraft you see you see you see 50000-3000 operate in this aircraft yes something that happens that suppose somebody is flying C90, so that pilot cannot fly B200.

1:13:53If someone is flying global 6000, that pilot cannot fly other aircraft. Your current, he says current, you do normal CPL, you do Cessna 172 like the Bahrain, after that you have typewriting and current. You can do 3-4 aircraft. You have learned global, Gulfstream, but you will be a current pilot one type of aircraft so if you are a global 6000 then you cannot fly any other aircraft so people are very specific about it as such there is no sortage but since it's a fancy business you have to take a new young CPL people and take a type writing then do it current and as a co-pilot do it fly pilots in India enough 1-2 aircraft are down many times but enough if demand has increased planes have run then more will have even it's proper prior planning prevents poor performance you're keeping an aircraft you're identifying and keep neighbouring whatever year is current every year there's a type writing every year you'reander byiesta际 their training when you're training in twin engine so engine so you send your regular pilot every two years.

1:15:20Got it. And if you do commercial fly, it's 5 % tax. But in private jet, it's 40 % tax. No. So when you buy an aircraft, you have to fill GST for a NSOP holder is 5 % only. But you're buying it for your own personal use. and you're not buying on any NSOP it's 40 % interesting, then all these business owners are a company through or they don't have it or they own themselves or they own NSOP, XYZ it's a real aviation it's a real aviation properly listed on DGC it's a company it's 5 % that's the difference if we take privately we took 40 % before it was 28 % last year now it was 40 % why is it luxury goods very luxury goods it's good you can do something for the country do not do it loophole no, loophole NSOP is loophole now you can explain that it's a reputed organization if it doesn't sell itself then it will fly it will fly it will be the money it will be the money So, he bought a aircraft and followed the regulations And now he is a company He is giving his other company Yes, but this is a loophole Financial engineering You have to pay 40 % tax Because you are a tax But you are not a tax But I don't have the wrong thing It is not a good thing In fact, you need more rich people And you need to celebrate them I agree with that But I am saying this is a loophole That you are going to pay 40 % You are going to pay 5 % Interesting Okay, so this is how we talked about how jets come from?

1:17:16Where are the companies supplying? Is it like I've heard that in America the private jet market is very big. So, the jet is gone and destroyed and the jet is gone and dumped. We don't need that. And this is a big misconception. In Bharat, it's a big deal. I still think this is a commercial airlines. I still think that in India, like Middle East, the Airbus has made fresh aircraft that needs it. And after 10 years of use, they take away from there. So, what we take away from there. That way people have categorized it. But when you see the commercial outcome of it, if you look at it from commercial angle, then there is a business owner.

1:18:26So, add more to her , I am making a business and I want to do something for society. This is hand in hand. I want to do something for society. Expecting that is wrong. I didn't say that it is a dump. But people, before there were many Lear Jets. There was a time. Now people from the Falcons, Global, Gulfstream, and Gulfstream are doing a lot of move on. So they should have their Lear Jets. They should have a big machine to buy a large machine. So let's say 3 million, Lear Jets, 3 million and 5-7 million and 10 million aircraft it's not bad for us so we have jets we have Europe we have but I always say that I have aircraft operator trust maintenance organization should be a new new aircraft crash if not maintained well and a new aircraft can survive in a better condition if maintained well.

1:19:29But maintenance is onus on the private company because authority bodies are strict. There was in fact a statement that authority bodies are licensed issuers as a regulator than a regulator who is proper supervision because there are many accidents. Again, I would like to thank you Raj for bringing up this question And your question has given me an opportunity to tell That how better we are As a country As an I'm not an advocate of director general of civil aviation But still I want to praise them How There are four or five Bigger names in regulatory authorities One is FA Which is America's regulatory The other one is European Aviation EASA Then in Saba BGCA EASA FA Ais International Civil Aviation Organization A small example And I have I have Lately My aircraft How we are Much much better So Jou FA Is That If You Have CVR FDR Is That Okay But if you have a flight data recorder, FDR doesn't have, they give you permission to operate.

1:21:01CVR says that, 30 minutes of recording is cockpit voice recorder. 30 minutes of recording is going. Minimum, it will go. Indian regulatory authorities say, FDR 100 % compulsory, CVR minimum 2 hours of recording is going. If you have these equipment, when you get the country for induction then they allow you to perform the operations our country what do people do not sing good songs? they sing and they don't get Grammy they don't get Oscar what are the films not being good we have made a mindset for our people I meant this from a perspective of we are very much regulated No, just like in Himalayas Flying in Himalayas is very difficult Right, for that you need special Mountain flying training Correct, 10 ,000 feet, 12 ,000 feet There are many helicopter operators And pilots Who know helicopter But they don't go through mountain flying training And they still do it in this four No, it's not that DGCA found out, not us Parliamentary committee Recently found out what I have I don't know I will give you the otherि

1:22:21American intelligence I have seen it and found it from DCGA This is not me making it In a country It doesn't say It doesn't mean that It doesn't mean that It doesn't mean that It doesn't mean that It doesn't mean that It can be in anyone To get it To get it To get it To promptly act To get it To get it To get it It's something Which is Which is important Now I will give you A best example IOMR Isle of mine Isle of mine in the aircraft registration how does it happen today I'll tell you you have to plan someone in the world and send them their documents and mail them one time they will come and you will get license and you can fake it as well this is how IOMR get registered DGC on the other hand goes through five level of certification and in last table top table top is like an interview license is very good supervision is constant yes supervision is about it then bi-weekly test you have aircraft registration like RC is a car you get aircraft registration certificate sorry aircraft registration certificate every year renew every year and this one year you have little bit 6-7 times DGCA vigilance and audits are internal audits are surprise audits so I don't know it's not easy and it's a very regulated industry just because it's the reason that some people as a operator I was also at the start of the day but people don't have so much regulation but when you understand that you're playing with someone's knowledge you're getting up with someone's knowledge and you have so many responsibilities so you understand why they're in that district and it should be got it Actually, how did a company start?

1:24:21Why did a business idea come? And then tell me first, how did a big client come? Correct, correct. It's a journey of one year completely. We had a co-working space in Lakework and we had a lease on the place. At the very same time, my father had a lot of good quality. Unfortunately, my father was at home town. Where? In the place of the book. There is a saying that not 100 books, not one book. It means that 100 books are written by people and a person with a great guy. It's a thing. So my father was in hometown and at that time he got deducted with spike in bile pigments. So my uncle's hospital is also there.

1:25:04So he said, don't worry, it's working out. It's okay. So 15-20 days later, I thought that there are not parameters so I thought that my father should have to take care of it. It's not okay there. so when I talk about it, I have a third report in which the bile pigments which 1 % has been 25 % and I have been very furious on me she said, what are you doing? take him so I said, it's an emergency and I should have booked an ambulance so I have googled 10-15 people have the same phone same aircraft offer because in Lakhnau or Alhabhad Lakhnau or Bhopal same aircraft

1:25:55I dropped that plan. I told you to put something in the house. So, I went to ILBase for 10-15 days. And on January 14, we lost him. Cut to 2-3 months later, my group of friends who worked in charter leasing from that, my friend who was in Air India and he left the same day Air India because this is the phase when Air India was in private after that. So he told me that it was a very privatization and I am not feeling comfortable because when the private player enters every person's deal is a way to do it. that they work on along their arms and on learning to work on their work she forms & on KPI's hours that i don't feel well why did i do that become a为什么 because i was going to unless

1:26:56you see this it to me with that

1:27:05we So we have explained it first. So we have planned that the initial money, which is something that we can start with. We can get 40-50 ,000 ,000 ,000. So one of my relatives promised me 50 ,000 ,000, gave me 40 ,000 ,000 ,000. But I respect him that they helped me. So we have just kept the money, but we started giving it to the other. I started giving myself one. One with another. So, first this was婚. In 2023, there were three states elections. There was MP, Rajasthan, and one state. So, we had MP for 4-5 days. So, revenue was good. So, 40 ,000 ,000 investment. And I had 40 ,000 ,000 business.

1:27:53So, confidence came out. So, I had to study numbers. I went to four or five operators. I had to say, give me your deal for Lok Sabha election 2024 one of them offered 5 crore that 5 crore 200 hours 2 months full payment by March so I said full payment by March I have to give you 5 lakh rupees so I said if March 10th to not give you we will forfeit your money so I have 3 or 4 blocked and kept 20 lakh rupees operationally active for staying in the future. We keep doing it. November we did 40-45 lakh rupees. December we did 20 lakh rupees only. These all are broker only. Yes, these all are broker.

1:28:402023 के बात कर रहा हूँ. December 20 lakh कि या क्योंकि weather आजाता है. Low flying situation. No flying situation रहती है. Again we did 10-15 lakh rupees in January. February we did again 10-15-20 lakh rupees but weather clear हो रहा था. March we did 10 crore rupees. कैसे? How come? So, we went to, as I am telling you, that some organizations are very professional. So, it's a 44 helicopter. Now, people all have so much hit in elections, because they are fighting in 543 seats, and in every seat there are 10 candidates, which can be full of money, where you can get. Every seat. There are 4 big parties, and then the state of regional parties and then in every state there are 2-4 people who are fighting for individual capacity and fight for individual capacity so there are 6-7 so there are so much demand and everyone needs a twin engine single engine is for MLA and MPs but top leaders will not go on a single engine and there are so much moments because you have to see faces and even the top leadership also So, 100-50 people in a big party who get votes in front of their all places.

1:30:05In 300 states, 32 states, union territories, all places in that 10-15 hours. So, every state has its power. So, it becomes the trading. And we utilized that opportunity. We went, we said, Sir, 6 lakh rupees per hour, 255 hours, and Sir, 625, 6 lakh 25 we offered first, plus GST to 55 hours. We said, sir, 60 days. He said, when will you position? And it's a dream for me. I mean, I think it's like a dream. So, I said, sir, I'll position until tomorrow, sir. Because the pressure of money was going back. March is going back. And it was 8 March. Two days later, my money was going to be that person said, give a little discount.

1:30:53I said, sir, you have 25 ,000. And we did signed that contract in 18 crore rupees for 60 days and how did you get there and who deals are doing every state is our aviation chief whether it's Congress or whether it's BGP every party you have to go and go to machines and the best and the election or the number is so low that you get the which has one's feeling which I sing Or will he lie and will admin They have to be married That he has younger kidsagner He's a state for You're not a state And he was FORフidän tails Aviation chief B.J .P. After that How are you looking at How are you doing Who can I get how many people People do People do

1:32:17do they take bribes? no no because see somebody who is sitting at that big position for him that position is very much power center he won't earn your position for 1-2 crore

1:32:37as I always say very small people are very small but very small people are very small for very small people are taxi drivers taxi owners it happens it happens when you deal with these people such big people let's say first political parties then business owners how much money we clear full advance political parties advance we give it exactly 10-15 crore advance because they know this is our mode of transport as a you are doing a business they are such a power sir, if my system crash will crash, then my loss will crash. I don't give two aircraft pilots, I don't repair parts, ultimately, my loss is because they are using it, and it's such a loss that my side will go.

1:33:39So nobody does that, and I think that now there are very positive mindset changes. are rye hai ki yaar ye business hai let's see it let's see it is business okay and so they and then sab se aada use case kis ka hota hai abhi political party ka political party sab se aada charters use kerti charters charters as in jet has been always much much much more utilized by the business owners helicopters is by politicians by the political parties and very much in number and jo business owners hote hai woh kitnay time may clear kare djeta hai payment full advance per flight per salty but if someone has called you that emergency I have to go to the night so soon the money is transferred never come to one or two we understand the dignity we trust people very trust-driven industry because if we have 400-500 people you know this who is 50-50 someone who has a blacklist then it's finished that we won't give it so it's not that emergency and 400-500 buyers from those 50 who are the workers they will blacklist so this is a very trust-driven industry people are bringing their advance who is not a problem because car time nowadays all these priest religious gurus are using it so much that's a different industry you asked me the first question who are 10 ,000 people It's a lot of use It's a lot of use Baba Ji, Guru Ji type Many people use it I mean, I'm very close I also believe them Baba Bageshwar is one of our Who privately fly Because they have to travel so much Sometimes they have to be MP Sometimes they have to be Gujarat Sometimes they have to be in South So he has to use it How do pilots react when they see these people?

1:35:40Pranam Like this Even when I do this belief system. Do celebrities pay on time?

1:35:52Reason and I'm seeing you this on camera also. I mean they're good people but when someone's money will be giving someone else, the demand will be So suppose producer budget is that I need 3 lakh rupees for a dollar. And what's in this? I will take a little bit of your journey into it. So that you understand the technicality, you will agree more. Standing cabin is a Learjet 60 aircraft. Standing cabin means that a ceiling height of approximately 6 feet. From the small ones, like 5.7 feet, 5.8 feet, then it was B200, C90, Learjet 40XR, Learjet 45. is standing events not and there is a problem in some aircrafts like Cessna and there is a gap and there is a gap so that aircrafts avoid so now you talk about luxury comfort or you say

1:37:08impression point of view travel and who know that he doesn't give money he doesn't give money he will demand he will never go in aircrafts like B200 sometimes it's like that he calls and he transferred money and he has been booking and then we got to know that the flying is cancer why? the celebrity said I won't go to this this jet is my standard this is not I'm standing

1:37:37very reputed celebrities have done that and there is no wrong thing because because the producer said that our budget is there is somebody who is doing events let's say in Bhopal so I have to tell you something that he said that Bhopal is one event and sir 3 lakh rupees for a year craft sir maximum 3 lakh sir 2-5 lakh rupees

1:38:08that's a different thing but these are challenges these are worse Baba Guru Ji pay they pay they say they go to the who go to the who go to the who go to the who go to the who go to the full advance happens. Celebrities with a little bit we face. Why? Because event management organizations are involved, multiple people are involved. I'm not saying that our celebrities do not want to pay. Definitely I know a couple of celebrities who say, you should take money from me, I should have a flight safe. I mean, I can take the name. Govinda is one such person. Last year Mumbai, I had to fly him somewhere.

1:38:59So he came

1:39:09He came in my marriage Lately So why did I get money from you I said money is cleared It's just that I have some safety Concerns are a good job He flew next day So there are such people also Who are very good When it comes to payment when it comes to payment but people are so involved in some cases in the middle of the day if someone hasn't reached the door then they have to stop their money

1:39:40and then just and with them it becomes more and with celebrities it becomes more because they don't want to talk directly they have kept multiple managers then there is a broker then there is a bribe set then there is a person who has left then there is a last payment and he didn't give any time, he stopped. So, we come to the same 15 layers. Is there any crazy demand? Like what type of crazy demand? Is there any type of business? Generally, small town politicians have a crazy demand. What do you want to go to the jet? Like the centralized leadership of a party, they understand a lot. Because they are flying regularly.

1:40:26They know all the protocols, more than pilots sometimes. They know what is the FDTL issue, they know what is the

1:40:34visibility issue, they know what is the issue, what is the issue, I know many times when I meet top leadership and I say, how do you fly in the morning? It's the issue of the issue. Initially, I said, he's right. But just small town politicians, a politician said, that we're 6 people. I said, sir, how will you go? I said, sir, it's CT 5, how will you go? I said, I'll go and go. And he's a very weak.

1:41:06My pilot said, sir, I'll kill you. I won't tell you. I can't go. And we literally requested him. Sir, please understand, sir. I'll give you an extra flight. I can't understand. But this is one of the craziest demands I have ever heard. I'll go up and go What's up? What's up? What's up?

1:41:31You can see how you manage it It's a very tough job What are the worst experiences or weird things these people do? Now, like if someone's sad You're eating a lot of pain What are you talking about? Oh brother, especially in helicopters Charter water is very low in the charter you have everything in the charter you have everything in the washbasin and toilet there is a place we never did that people did that and they did it and they said to keep the broker broker says sorry we complained to the top leadership they identified it in a very good way they helped us I will make sure this repeat but people do it.

1:42:25Small politicians. Small politicians. Whatever the small area is the worst. I mean, the small area is the small politician. The area is no small but it's a big thing. It's a big thing. I'm a big fan. One of our passengers has said that I don't know the name. Why don't you keep in the helicopter?

1:42:49Why don't you keep in the helicopter? doctor, you are going to get a doctor. You need water, who will be? Sir, you keep in the house. You don't have tea on the floor. Take a charter. Sir, you don't have a water supply. So we will get a water supply. Sir, how do you get a water supply? It requires regulation. No, you don't have to make people. What do you understand? and you are serious talking about your money and you are serious they complained about me that I said to them give me a charter then I will see income tax they threaten you obviously obviously what threats are you wherever I will I will

1:43:45I don't understand. Randomly people have cancelled a politician. Now you see. Don't go to this area. I challenged myself to challenge myself.

1:44:03I don't know. so you never get the wrong way I don't want to go there nor my mom's house nor my mom's house I don't want to go there but

1:44:20but how do you say no to these people do you call them they call them you have said no do they pressure you then definitely I'm saying the less pressure the less pressure the less pressure the less pressure the less pressure many people know when we were home minister 36th grade, it was very smooth but I know people who have been able to fly and understand that's the issue of the video call and he has been able to and he has been available online that his flight cancelled due to low visibility Hindustan's most powerful man by far he is saying that no matter what he is let me do it in Bihar, an aviation company has left our Delhi's CM and Madam CM left 10 minutes, 5 minutes late and left and left and left.

1:45:27Next day we rescued them. It's on record and this happened and they took it positively it's okay but it's okay

1:45:48they might not fly very positive manoj thiwari ji I do a lot of regard it's been late they were late we had put in a group access status the pilot wrote singing on podium so I had to intervene and write please make a flexibility of 5-10 minutes because my helicopter is night flying so I had to take them but sometimes pilots are adamant my duty time is getting over why should I extend because I can take extension in a month or two times so sometimes I have to intervene and request them so people understand who are flying regularly they understand they are a very good side of people also they are great and the bad people oh man how can I fly I will take my heart where are you what do you think that you will not come to Jaipur

1:46:47what's tougher owning an aircraft or saying no to powerful people saying no to powerful people now it seems to me if you know there are so many challenges I open a shop in the house. I'm telling you. A lot of pressure. You're always on surveillance. You've been always an eye of people. Do you... Are there scams which happen in this industry? Comparative to other industry, very less scams. How do they become a scam? I have a small person with a small person. Like in a marriage, I had a helicopter. People had a broker's money. A guy was crying in our office. My son was married. I was telling you, I was telling you, that the 5th January, there was a place in Haryana, there was a landing.

1:47:47He was waiting for a whole child. He was waiting for a whole, by his worship and climate music ... so local news not to go helicopter land because the permission was properly so media to go a local intelligence unit so police media all landing and this official protocol so media I'm telling you 10 days I'm someone to have come to January so so because he was a government employee so I am sure he will know some of them so where my office was he took an SI and he said sir you don't do that as I was with him then he showed me a video I said closer I know them I said no sir we will try or not we gave them the service and he was completely happy 10 days later 10 days later He keeps the rituals That's it I'll show you I'll show you The city's bad So this is But What are brokers?

1:49:20They're running They're running They're running They're running And they'll catch people And people do this Especially brokers I want to say on camera That It doesn't take a lot of time To do a bit of research of whatever you are going to buy or purchase can you can somebody who's watching this can you buy a broker in the private jet or charter industry can you buy a broker in the market is it an opportunity 100 % what quality is it what should you do for a broker you have left the list you have given the list all the numbers dgc.government.in I have also given it and I have also given it which is the charter directly phone to ask if the 23rd is available is what you need to do.

1:50:06If you go to this route, best price. Best price. You need to know that you need to do a little negotiation, you need to request a request. Everything needs to be done. The other thing is, you need to say, if you think that you need to buy 12 lakh rupees, you need to put a price. You need to say, it's about 13 lakhs, 14 lakhs. If you don't have a mistake, people will pay 12-24. I don't think they will pay attention. I don't know. What happens if you buy a buyer, one time will become a problem, two times will become a problem. If you understand that, he will not understand that. Then he will remove you from the beach.

1:50:39Then he will tell the operator, because the pilot is going to the ground, you are not going to the ground as a broker. True. So, he will give you from the beach. But is it a lucrative industry? Is it a very difficult industry? Because if you are in a small town and you know a lot of rich people, then it's a good industry because everyone needs. And the way, has 11.5 to Okушee all sei if you have I will return I will return full pay way people are doing it see I think it's not I think it's not and the world's toughest industry will be shipping will be oil shipping people will be brokerage will be you can get you can get just the right time to get who will be hit and you need to you need to you need to you need to you need to you need to R &D you need to get your time to get people get good faith get people get trust giatna hai, it's, joh bachpan mein sikhaja jata tha nuh, honesty is the best policy dunya ka sab se jahadha used sub tha lekin sab se jahadha misuse ho ta hai agar us chiz ko koji religiously follow kar lhe, jiasse mein aapse mila, mein aapse eek relation bana ke jau, mein aapke side of chizho ko samjho aur, aapka be-mantlep koji misuse karne ki nahi socho, toh merah aapka bond aachha hooga merahe paas bhi jab koji aata hai, aur eisse kai sari broker hai, joh ye s'mashten that how to give them the power of their power so many people who understand that they have captured they have a team they have a cost so there are relationships in the right way there are many brokers who only phone them and say tomorrow they will do something so done we will keep the money what's your membership tell me what's your this you said that the market is the best membership the most efficient flying hours So let's say someone rich is watching this And they wanna buy So what is this?

1:52:59100 hours? What is this? 100 hours wherein you are not paying for the aircraft journey You are paying for your journey That means no ferry cost No landing parking charge You went to Mumbai from Delhi So I only got to Delhi from Mumbai So I understand And you gave us 100 hours of money So how much money did you? 100 hours? 4.5 crore 4.5 crore So I gave you 100 hours So I gave you 100 hours 100 hours of flying cars which you fly if you give 4.5 crore if you give up front then 100 hours in India somewhere take private jet 92 hours in India and 8 hours in international trip can be utilized if not in India but technically it's 100 hours it's 300 hours because if you are in Mumbai and Delhi and I'm if I send my aircraft to Delhi to Delhi then I don't charge you don't charge you don't charge any landing parking and you have anywhere in India you will send the jet anywhere in India in small places and in just last five last five hours I'll tell you I'll ready my pilots one day before you'll just arrange anywhere anywhere it's like someone will say if I'm in Hubli I have to go here and you'll arrange it it's my responsibility that's my responsibility because you're a member in this four and a half cross interesting here's the last question I have I ask someone that you

1:54:30haven't studied you have done a lot of struggle 4-5 start-up failed broker become operator now you're on a business private jet to the top leadership in the country it's crazy it's amazing so if anyone is watching for that person what is one advice which you don't follow. I have a very good advice which we learned from childhood and we didn't follow it. It's the statement that only this year's work. The next year when we were in board examinations we had 10th class. This year's work. Then we went to 12th. Then we went to medical engineering. Just 4 years ago life is easy. Every day you have to take care of it.

1:55:20we should again make this every day each day But you were also working in 2020. You are also working in the next year. Because when you are working in the past, you make some SOPs, which people copy them. And some people copy them. If you don't improvise, you don't feel like hard work. My Guruji said, Hard work beats talent when talent stops hard working. So hard work doesn't have any alternate. it. Well, thank you so much. Thank you so much Raj for having me. Thank you. Good to see you sir.

1:56:25I'm following your work since lockdown. Lockdown, wow. I was making a lot of random videos. And I was very I was very... ...grieb tha. I too. So... I too. Same. So... We are the grieb of the brothers.

1:57:08Thank you.
