0:00What do you need the richest of the richest people? What do they need? They have a new thing that they need. They have to get Virat Kohli. So the request can be absurd. That I get with Virat Kohli, you'll get it. I'll try. What are your maximum clients? Unicorn founders, of course. Cricketers, old money, lot of new money people also. What do you crave? What do you crave? Indian rich when compared to Dubai, Europe we have to achieve this it's more validation to their own self that we didn't do anything and today we can do this tell me one emotional request so this client she would call her boyfriend goat for what he has achieved his request is I have a birthday I have a goat and in his head it should be written you are the goat and my team said okay, we will do it the most difficult club to get in even India?

0:56The Tath Chamber. They have a club. I think it's a little difficult to get through. Tell me about this event. The billionaires feel is viable but it's not. I think the Royal Box of the Wimbledon piece is one. What is it? That's only reserved for the Royal Family. What's in Shark Tank? In Economic Times, an article came about indulge. So Shark Tank's team said, this is very interesting. By that time, there was no capital in the bank. We thought that there was so much marketing. Then we said, okay, let's do it. His outcome was brilliant. We had like big spike of customers.

1:56We have money, but it's not access. Today's episode, our guests have become current. Founder and CEO of Indulge. Indulge works the most important thing that people think impossible. 3:22in the description. If something is illegal, then immediately, sorry, we hold them there. But everything which is doable, we go about saying yes first, and then we go back, and 99 out of 100 times we go about doing it. Unless necessary, it is absolutely impossible. Like, imagine there is a restaurant with 10-seater, and all of that is already occupied. Now, even if, you know, Shah Rukh Khan calls us, that I need a chair in that. I mean, you tell me how to navigate. We will still call the restaurant and we'll tell the owners. Tell them what you want to eat. But they'll be like, sir, this is 10 chairs.

4:00You can take someone out and take it. I mean, that is an impossible task. That I will try. I still try, try. Are you talking about papas? Yeah, papas and a few more. 12-seater, yeah. They're doing so well. I don't know some of the other people are opening restaurants with 300-seater, 200-seater and these 10, 12, 15, they're doing so well. And I love it. I mean, that experience. and every Monday our teams are just sitting to making sure see by the end of it we are representation of the client we are not some independent body trying to crack this business no, boss said that he has to get a reservation so he has to get anything else so phone calls you sir, this profile will reply to you tell me tell me the most insane request which you have fulfilled because you said that you can say anything 99 out of 100 things you do it I mean two clients have been one client who was the actor from south and they were in Belgium and they wanted something for their birthday and it was like off season and the restaurant they wanted to go that was closed so I think our team spoke to the owners established who these 30 people are said you open the entire restaurant for us for this evening we'll pay you what you normally make on a weekend and that happened and the restaurant opened up only for these 30 people and then they had a blast and they're like how did you guys even manage but that's not it right.

5:31We people before opening the restaurant, how many people are vegetarian, how many non-vegetarian are all of a sudden they said here it gets good, it gets good. Then they talked about it in the middle of the day, then a preset context set and they music alter because someone is 40th birthday and the customer thought that I need anything need convenience of getting it done I can do in Belgium and you are in for a lifetime I need this thing this how much did it cost this ran into lacks but it's all fine what you can give money it's more access that I can do it then how much will it so a luxury concert service that's your business what happens what happens clients a normal client is quite busy has a job in the world has a lot of money connections tastes

6:43Link ist die.

7:10I see a match. After I eat this food. This is a week after 1-2 months. It gets addicted. My team knows that I am a wedge. I am a spiritual. I listen to trans music. I like football. I like cricket. It's a team. My little OTP related issues. Check in. Check out. Immigration. Reservation. How many people? Are you lactose intolerant? or what would you prefer white wine or red wine and all of this can be hand-holded by the team and then us may be as a very busy person sometimes may my wife can't forget my wife my favorite 40-50 on an average is not in good days I sometimes am embarrassed that you are today and I have your wish not we can handle these things sir your 40-50 which we have given to do, that these people are important, some family, some acquaintance, some child's friend, we consider them all, and we establish their relationship with them, and we establish this client, and we offer so much convenience, that he thinks this team is second in command, to what he wants from life, so now the year starts, we will ask, what do you want to do this year, do you have a festival, do you have a festival, खरीदना है, गिफ्ट करना है, आपको दिवाली के दिन क्या पहनना है, कैसे सेलिबरेट करना है, यह सब चीजें एक बार होता है, और सेकेंड टाइम से वो आदत बन जाती है, तो हमको पता है कि यह कस्टमर हेल्थ सेंट्रिक है, यह कोई you know Hindi music पसंद करता है तो he likes going to अरजिद, concerts और गाजल, etc.

8:59To give me an example, okay let's say कोई है कि ideal customer आपका podcast यह देख रहा है, okay now ideal customer आपने बुलाओ busy है that is one thing second आपने बुलाओ ideal customer है जो छोटे शहरों में बहुत पैसा जिनके पास family money है, third generation, fourth generation second generation, maybe 100-500 crore unke pas hai leki n unki jose jose jose unki bombay indoor me hoti hogi ya surat me hoti hogi ya ludiyana med hoti hogi chindwada med hoti hogi jojojojo pe wos izzet unko bombay delhi bangalore me nini milti abu dhabi dubai london me nini milti right to same level ka curated experience ki why tumhara li ye tumhara indoor humnne replicate kar diya that is what the second kya is kitnay paise honne chanye lag-bag is client ke pas which is a ridel customer somewhere 100 crore Okay So if you are 100 crore If you are 100 crore If you are 100 crore If you are 100 crore Then this is the service Yeah 100 crore And then it is limitless In fact Lately I have seen Some of the CXOs Which is the CEO level And 20-30 crore That is the salary That is the potential customers I mean As I was in the morning When I was in Goa From the morning I realized That I have No clothes So I was told Before I had board before I said just drop a white t-shirt at this location and I was on the flight and by the time I reached the location I didn't have to do payment I didn't need to do my size I didn't and a small request I was able to go to the location and look and I was very excited about it I mean that's a small thing like I'm not a potential customer mostly I train them and they give

10:53so everything you would make it easier for somebody who has money so why can't they do it? they need to do it but they need to do it on their work and family they don't want to involve more so for example if I'm understanding a business right

11:16so that you have a extended team which is available in WhatsApp if you can do anything in the world if it is legal, then I will give it the price you pay if you are ready so I will give it that is what I do you need a table, a club a bag, a bag a watch a watch I have to see a concert. Now, I have to go to a concert, to a match. I have to get to a person. I have to get to a person. He says, whatever cost is possible, if it is possible, he has to get a meeting. If he is inspired by this age, I have to get a contribution as a father. I am a 500 crore guy. So, the request can be absurd. I have to get to a person.

12:05You will get to a person. I will try. But tell me, who has 100-200 crore, do you have to be a person who doesn't have to be? Do you think that you will have to be an assistant? Do you have to be an assistant? The assistant is actually our potential customers. The assistant is what happens. What happens in the assistance? They have a local they all manage their band like you said you say you say Istanbul then they go to Google and then they go to figure out and then they go to that level I think a company which in Istanbul has done a lot of things done and it depends and it's credible and it's another your personal assistant which in office you can share your personal point and if you can if you can if you can outsource company which has a private life secret so you don't want that person in office and normally what happens is that when he goes to the whole knowledge base that you go to the whole driver if you go to the whole driver then the whole Google Maps will be established but with a company with us that we all already know your touch points so internally if we quit or hire It doesn't matter.

13:32Our experience to you remains the same. Also access. Access. I got access for 3 years. I got access for many things that I didn't get at a starting point. After 3 years, I source a watch, a ticket, a person, a client base, an aura, a brand. They've been 3-4 years and they've been 24 hours per day. So it's not easy that one person can establish this. that's a place to go to to talk about AI but as of now I think we offer them and these AI agents don't do it AI agents can do it they can do information and give you but your nuance your taste your connectivity your empathy your emotion it doesn't happen in AI but mostly my customers मेरे साथ इसलिए क्योंकि एक emotion attached है कि ये उनकी team है ये हमारे customer है और in between all this is technology So who are your maximum clients?

14:39Businessmen, celebrities, politicians, ultra high net worth people, families got A mixed bag Majority Startup founders Okay 16-17 Unicorn founders sub-use करते हैं day-to-day basis in fact 2-3 same business में आना चाह रहे हैं I was very scared. I was going to talk to him and I said, Sir, you leave this. I mean, there are so many listed companies. They are everywhere. So, they said, No, you know, you have a handcrafted, very personalized product. You have to focus on that. In fact, you have to work on your membership. 4 ,000 ,000 ,000 ,000. It's 6 ,000 ,000 ,000. Don't go back. We try a mass market.

15:26Unicorn founders, of course, cricketers old money and a lot of new money people also but how did you get into this you let's just say that you are a young startup founder which is a lot of money for a bag or watch like Birkin's it's very popular you know limited edition FP June or Richard Veal or I don't know Rolex to start with mass market right whatever right to mass luxury market is what I'm saying not but let's say this level that's what RM should be FP should be Rolex should be those cars which are in a million crores so million crores of bags of million crores of cars of million crores of jewelry jis ke paas 500 krona wo nhi la paa raha hai aap ek start up founder ho start hi ke aap ne aap ke aap paise nhi etne aap keise la paa raha how are you able to build this end to end service or let's say some sort of structure and connection correct jaha pe aap ne bola kya rabe mein ye karunga or in logo ke liha karunga so kaise aap what's the transition kaan se start hua so chao aap ne jis se bola aap ek 500 krona ke ek insano from xyz place but at unit level you have one customer you have one product one watch one bag one whatever we have a bridge where we have around 500 odd customers we represent all the people in the FP genre we have not represented indulge before we have first customer and then we have a brand and then we have a brand that is a customer which is the level Then they say, yeah, this also looks good.

17:28As we do this, there are a lot of layers. One layer is where the brand is very excited. Profiles like your profile and other profiles. Profiles don't reach to brands. And then we can establish our companies. Another, there is a very big market, which is a secondary market. We avoid it a lot, but it exists. exist in Dubai, India, Europe and we try to unlock that when we talk to customers that this product is available you have to access it so this is the terms and conditions if I am very happy then those people know so you are saying that you start with a billionaire's profile and then you build it over time and now you have a good relationship with a brand

18:29that you get an entry in India and in a market where yes what the future is if someone who wants to try to do this brand they will tap first that was actually happened I mean what happened 2 years ago I think 1.5 years ago we got an email I am Bani and I was invited to the launch of our mall luxury mall etc etc and I was thinking where did I come from and why did I come from and all that and then I got to call and they said current founder indulge your swag is luxury mall opening and when I got mall I got into a cab. As I entered, I was the entire entourage of the Ambani family. I entered the mall.

19:29Our security was established. We are going to go. I don't know why I'm here. As I'm going, I'm seeing so many names that are standing there. here or go for it. I don't want to break it because I don't stand behind it. Or go and go. I felt the whole mall experience. Then I I'm also very important to the mall that I worry about these two people

20:30I think it was phenomenal because something was happening with a fashion show and every A-lister was walking for the launch of that mall and when I was watching I was like what what is this this makes sense that there is a big designer brand and if it's a head designer in India and he wants to meet with the top 100 people so that I have the spending power I have time spent with them so you can curate that experience for them because you would only have those 100 people who have the buying capacities to store them so that makes sense of course so all these brand PRs who have brand relationship customer relationship representatives that you must be in touch almost every brand including Ferrari, Bulgari etc all people are excited to take our customer base

21:44I didn't understand.

22:18So your service is how much? Can you buy a concert service? How many rupees will it take every year? Actually,$35 ,000 a month. $4 ,000 per annum. So it's like in... Yeah. Like an employee, but at a much lesser cost who can do much bigger things. Available 24 hours. 24 hours. I will message the time at 2 o 'clock. Correct. I mean, you have a lot of requests in the time. It's not 10 to 12 o 'clock. Because, astonishingly, 80 % of our customers are always traveling. They are globe-trotters. Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? So, mostly night.

23:04I thank myself that I saw this situation and said how will this solve and how do my teams excite me so I said okay I believe in racket sports poker etc that they play in your daily life that you play in any situation with available cards you play how you play your capital etc so I thought that in this situation I have to empower my teams to my team if they just keep managers so this will not be done so we all have been sitting and thought that we will call this team kingdom in this team will be a king and a queen will be a top two female male combination because customers need a feminine side or a male side it cannot be driven just masculine with the way we service you then I established that there will be a bishop who will be quality check and there will be two knights who will work at night and there will be other genies so knights to feel like this is kingdom and I should protect it at night if there is no request at night I will address it at night and king to feel like this is my kingdom this is my 200 customers which current has given me so I have to be very happy to keep these 200 people Queen is like I have to put feminine angle ڈالنا ہے اور میں آدھے سنبھال لوں گی وہ آدھے سنبھال لے گا اور جینی کا کام ہے کہ نائٹ بھی ہے بشپ بھی ہے کینگ بھی ہے کیون بھی ہے مجھے میرا ماجک دکھانا ہے سب کی ریکویسٹ کرنی ہے اور ایسے فینانشلی بھی کسی سے کاپی نہیں کیا باٹ میں نے ایسا اسٹیبلش کیا کہ آپ کا ایک فکس سیلری ہوگا اور آپ جتنے سکسسفل ریکویسٹ کروگے آپ اتنا پیسے بنا ہوگے nice so he thought that the request came and the 4 genius he fought that he had to finish it and when you finish it you don't get the task to get the incentive you don't get the incentive the task you follow and follow and finish you get the tick eventually the ticks collect and then the whole kingdom will get the incentive then the king decides who will get the incentive so absolute authority is with someone who is actually running a small startup within the company.

25:23So I have like three kings and three systems and three kings of fighting between each other that we can do how much revenue. Why is this client gone here? Why is this gone here? So I also work with my all of them. I'm excited and I think that why are they so excited on the salary? And Goa also chose that because I get the most customers when I get in their city I think I have a table where I sit down, a decorum is a typical approach. I'm a vendor. I avoid them. I have a lot of goa. I have no idea. But when I have a goa, mostly with floral shirt, short shorts, with a bar, with a ball, and what do I have to do?

26:13When I have a space, I have a open space. I have a open space. suit ہوتا ہے. If I'm going to Bangalore, I'm going to production, entertainment company, I'm going to Bombay. If I'm going to a global company, I'm going to goa. Globally, goa's name in India, in the space of lifestyle exists. That's a place where people want to holiday. If I can get customers here, it's the best place. My team is excited. Head office, head office head office head office head office head office head office goa feni teams work sunset beach and everyone wants head office that's a smart way of building a team that's I like this concept of kingdom very smart but tell me because you deal with so many billionaires right and multi multi millionaires and billionaires which have a lot of money they need the riches of the riches people need what do they actually want all of them yes no all they need access like F1 to see Dimbledon to see from the same view all of them are their quirks they need every new thing that can be a form of build that they need everyone bought whoop and went to F1 Japan didn't want to go starting to get two years last year I think all of them in Japan and what do you think about skiing is that people are learning skiing I learned a little bit before I learned skiing we are doing a event I am telling you we are doing a event in Jammu and Kashmir where three days a product you will get to learn skiing spend time in Gulmarg etc with the best hotel there now that's going on so we go to our customers and get this experience and stuff like that is it more status experience escape privacy what you crave I just see somehow I feel like Indian rich when compared to rich from Dubai Europe and US our our our our our our our our our our our our our our our our our We have to achieve this.

29:09When we have a lot of people when they are indulging there is a lot of emotion in which people enjoy or buy them and they have a satisfaction. I don't know if grandparents are coming from or parents are coming from

29:45I really think spiritually it's more validation to their own self than the real material or experience we have made it how do I tell you that I have evolved or I have arrived by doing these things one for the world although 99 % of these people are discreet I don't know for why but mostly for themselves of what they are seeking is seeking them in the same capacity they are seeking these things so that they can validate from wherever they are coming that we didn't have anything and today we are being so we can do this a client has made me a lot of angry the other day he said that if I have to stay in this suite whose cost is X amount then I have to stay there now what is helping me I don't have people because he has taken so big but he's like this is it this is what I want and I'm like great so tell me one emotional request someone's emotional request was not driven from money but it is more driven out of maybe love or guilt or nostalgia or my father's something like that it's a very

31:15basic but their mom their mom their mom and their parents divorced and then their mom has not been with them for a long time and he said that in a village he's staying in a village and he's staying and he's asking to our services we often ask what is the age of your parents and where are they now and stuff like that so the client was very sensitive that he had to answer my team and established that his mom's birthday is April 3rd or whatever and my client my team asked them 30 March that you have your mom's bird and you have to send something and they said I don't do anything but if you are talking then send them a cake so I said yes address no cake doesn't have to be delivered although we have a cab and said that cake and said 4 hours and eventually Eventually, he came and came and the client was very emotional about it.

32:30Now, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. It's like this. Then I thought, wow, what impact. Yeah. One was another one. In which I normally, I'm watching so much content on the phone, who is doing what is doing, and so many requests. I don't get involved in that. compared to my present loss So I met and apparently my client was the question

33:08I don't know if this works and I have a immediately and introduce and then the night night happened detail after receiving Instead of documenting scholar He jogs when he later told that he had to gather this date after from India embassy from there Yeah, he goes from 8am got and I got a coffee

33:57I was so proud and I was so proud and I went and saw the girl who had no idea what he did. He had a communication, an emotion, access to technology. He represented his customers and his needs and his situation. and second even a big deal what I would say service provide for me that there was also every, every person can help each other for everything in which people could have I found for another artist that I think

34:31before

34:39that I grew up yeah and then the patient got saved yeah yeah yeah that's why he's for a lifetime otherwise we were shot no but at least you did your job I did my job and there have been very funny ones also like this client of course everybody can't take a name but she would call her boyfriend goat goat yeah for what he's achieved so on his birthday his request is that if you have a birthday and there are 300 people he's got a goat and in his head he's a white sheep type some animal and in his head it should be written happy birthday etc you are the goat and my team said okay we'll do it and I'm like you said it you'll do it then you'll do it then they said okay they live in so and so towers here in Bangalore or whatever and we have to do this so my team next half an hour is calling all the butcher shops and saying we need goat but we don't have to kill we just have to give and then we will give you how much money will be they're like what request is this how do you do this then one fellow finally understood then he said okay I'm sending I'll give him I'll give him I'll take him I'll take him so the person went and then they got to bring photos and videos and then went and now our customer says what happened and how did you do it?

36:24but the funny part was negotiating with people saying we don't have to kill we'll have to back it interesting one was that the person had to fuck up and he said to us now that free is going to be 6-8 months after like friends like we are talking about something something happened I have to make something happen I have to make something happen then my team is saying how to make my team is saying how to make but office we have to make a lot of people we know that we have to figure out this is where we live in London it's on a canal there are boats parked it's a good boat then he told us that champagne and all this stuff.

37:10And then our customer told us, that we have to go for surprise. We told us that we are indulged in the team. We didn't know that we had money paid for it. We had to go to the couple. So, the couple went. And my team made a Spotify account which we played with the previous songs. Because we know that the couple really liked Bollywood. The previous songs of Muhammad Rafi, Amitabh Bachan's songs of the time, they were playing in London, and they were drizzled. and champagne and Gora is playing Rimjim Gire Savan Rimjim Gire and so customer was like he asked that Gora how did you play this? then he was like the team who is working they went to a playlist and I played it and it was a little drizzle so he spent one hour he put it and he had flowers and when he came back he just said thank you I'll talk to you guys later.

38:08And I was like, wow, so cool. Crazy. Crazy. You know, have you heard of Veblen effect? No. I'm here only all of these things. I mean like, I only deal with animals and people. No, it's a Veblen effect. People, as they get richer, they want consumption which is very conspicuous like it's like in simple words any thing that people buy they think it's much better so wine if you get it in 100 rupees if you get it in 4000 bottles it's more evolved it's more tasty so it's just like expensive things are finer so many people who are so many people who are they think it's like so today there was this research this story that's how and that's why they are ready to pay the price but recent research is done on ultra high net worth individuals that you like clients deal that they don't mean they mean rare things impossible to achieve impossible to own so it's like if you have 100 rupees you can give it to 100 rupees but it's like it's not it's not about 100 rupees or 100 rupees or 10 rupees it's one of a kind is that the kind of people you deal with who have access to impossible or access to something who can't do it there are three clients who need one thing you're saying that is a fine layer which are collectors they collect art stamps watches pens, cars, experiences also.

40:06That's a different league. Interestingly, I met another league of people. They said, I'm doing this. I'm doing it. Now, I work with this. I've done it completely. I've done so many cars. I want to dispose it. Now, I'm just putting a watch on Apple. I'm putting shots on Apple. And I'm chilling in life. I've seen everything. I've been looking for the whole world. So, there is a clientele now established which doesn't need anything. What do you need? Simplicity. Peace of mind. Select set of friends. Last phase of their life where they're giving away knowledge, giving away everything. Why do you deal with it?

40:49That's not my client. It's not that my whole experience is that how many clients make me, how many clients make me. and the people in the middle of the day who are really important, who are aspirational who are aspirational, who are who are aspirational, who are aspirational that tomorrow I want to see a good good car, a good watch, a good good clothes, a good clothes, a good aspiration, that indulge will survive and aspiration will not go because in the world it is that tomorrow I am a good person I am a good person, tomorrow I am a good thing, this will be left in this proportion which I am doing in the permutation combinations I think this will suit me so I will try to build it so I will try to build it just so India is the right place to be in India is the right place for you to be in because here the aspirational class is growing up actually there are many more and more in India we have a lot of money a lot of people don't even know how to spend and where to spend.

42:00They want to spend because social media and Netflix and they all know what they are and they want that. In fact, in which city we met first time, the banquet literally that city is running. Those people run the country. In fact, after that I went to Ludhiana and in Ludhiana and then Chandigarh and I was a Punjab's eyes are seen in such a way. Evolved, well-spoken, well-behaved, absolutely affluent. They know what they're doing. And just like their companies, institutions, phenomenal human beings to meet because they have seen the entire circle and their representation of all the people who work for them.

42:48These are not normal people. It's not just the wealth they have, the amount of lives they have impacted. and the credibility they own, even a part of it. I think there are really nice people. All the clients of mine, none of them is arrogant. And most of it, I believe we are like clay, right? I know my company like clay, if one customer makes something, if another customer uses it in a different way. So, it is mostly the reflection of the person we end up becoming. Yeah. tell me all of these people would also want access to hidden clubs speakeasy bars or not speakeasy bars like membership clubs where nothing can happen secret societies where you can't be part like I want to be part of some elite club correct of course everybody wants every single wants to be a part of Raya until some point everybody wanted to be Soho house members from other cities even if they don't live in Bombay or otherwise globally lately I think the Bay Club is doing well everybody wants to be a part of that of course these things happen you mentioned whatever not accessible in order to access they think there is a validation and in truth do you get it done?

44:16of course we've got the way we represent because we have a B2B understanding with most of them we have given them a lot of business if of course that profile does not suit them we can't do anything if your profile is like that we can't do anything if you are okay so of course so you have gotten people membership in Soho House Soho House is easier Soho House is easier now maybe they commercialized it a little bit but otherwise the representation was phenomenal none of the Bangalore boys had direct they had access I don't deny that but we made the job a lot easier bay club my co-founder just met them we represented india's billionaires beyond bombay they loved what we're doing we have showcased what our profiles look like and yet the problem or the advantage there is everything is narrowed down to i think neetha ma 'am to having choose what she wants it is to her discretion at that level nothing can happen my job is to show what the rest of the india has then it's up to them that's all i can do there's nothing but you can't get people approved how no matter how can i know i mean someone will call me for my membership and say approve it i don't think anybody except me will give the assurance that you can be a member i don't think anyone can come on this podcast and anybody else outside this room can give that assurance.

45:49Raj has to say, okay, I like this man or I like this person. He has to be here. I don't think anyone outside can claim that I can get them on this podcast. It is your choice. So that I cannot. I can just tell Raj saying, Raj, this is a great case today. That's all. Fair. Which is what we do. Which is what you do and it's fair. But tell me, why do people want membership at a club where when they're not even from the city let's say Bay Club and Soho House Mumbai either Bay Club میں نہیں miltah kisi ko easily which according to your saying right to ab jab mili nai raha hai or he don't stay in Bombay correct to kyun chahiyya hunnhe look it's ke do layers here ek to baut hi interesting hai main mere customer ko ek bar pere unknowingly mila or usne 2 saal membership liya 4-4 lakh rupees every message we read every recommendation we read use only 2-3 times in 2 years and he's paid me 8 lakhs in 2 years and I asked him hey Vikram you don't use us what's the point it's okay you know don't have to don't continue if you don't do that he said you're like a revolver I'll use you when I want to use you shut up and just do your business I know what I'm doing and cut to a couple of weeks later he purchased like 20 tickets to FIFA Qatar World Cup big bill for Qatar World Cup there were so many people who went there that I would send my team together with them because there are so many people where they land and they will have a match and they need reservations so I'll do it that is one point and one thing why they want to be a part of these clubs is look at Raj you've been working here you've come I don't know if you have a mediocre or below your intellect.

47:47It doesn't have much fun. It's a bit of a lot. You have to come here. But you have to come here. You have to come here. You have to come here. You have to come here. You have to come here. You have to come here. You can see clubs. There are clubs here. Here are like-minded people. and if you have a lot of knowledge, you have a brush and shine. You have a lot of knowledge that you have a fifth class of kids with, you have a lot of established. When you have a lot of people with clubs, you will reflect on it. And you need to be in Delhi. In Delhi, DLF, then in societies, all of them will be in Aralias, Aralias, Aralias.

48:36in the house. Then Bay Club. Then I think Aryaman's Birla's Club. I don't know what it's called. Then Soho House. And back in Bangalore also there are a couple of such clubs. Quorum is another club. Everybody wants to be a part of it. Then club system, EO, YPO. Every EO guy wants to go to YPO, be a YPO member. But it's easier to become part of let's say a quorum or jolis or all of these not necessarily i'm asking you what's the difference of course comparatively to what let's say a bay club is more more difficult than jolis 100 okay and then quorum jolis is more difficult than quorum yeah and then so quorum quorum is now with the investments they have got and uh with more real estate i think they would want to make more sense because they would rather chase a critical mass of seven eight outlets and then propagate all of them together and then that cross connection etc but i have been a big big fan of eu and ypo i don't know how they pulled off and i am so jealous of the founders they're never in these events but these events are of billionaires who are vouching for these two brands and they are often building on those brands and that fellow who are founded it gave them so many nice rules and regulations that they so blatantly follow and these are not normal people these are people thousand ten thousand twenty thousand crores who are saying oh they wear a badge of their name and there's something written below that and i'm like however you did that man i really want to be insane they're never at this event so can you help someone become member of ypo if they are eligible yes of course we will send we a lot of my customers are your ypo members of course we have our channels we will definitely represent you have b2b partnerships both of them there's no b2b partnership of course if they just represent them a better way yeah so that i was a part of uh eu uh greater karnataka okay which is a new chapter in belgao so the ones who are not able to get through different other chapters in bangalore etc can apply for this so we would just pass the information mr x wants to become member of ypo okay so which chapter and let's say bombay chapter so bombay chapter then it has a protocol of course they have a protocol yeah but if he is eligible he can also apply it not necessarily I mean application of course and the person of that level mostly network but our network is good at least I personally know the founding members of YPO in India they were to look at investing in ours etc so we do have a very good rapport I mean all the other I'm the official concierge for EO Bangalore YPO Bangalore soon Hyderabad EO chapter Punjab I just established EO and YPO and fish where the fishes are these are guys who someone else is filtered I may rather go to these UHNIs so much more easier for you to easier why would I have to break my head on other chapters and other avenues and my marketing almost there is nothing because because it's a crème de la crème now people are not on Instagram nor on Facebook if they are there they don't know so what's the most difficult club to get in what's the most difficult club to get in membership club or even India I think the Tath Chambers they have a club which I think is a little difficult to get through and let's say where the entry is very difficult can you get them in there there's a club in Germany called Bagan.

52:24Have you gotten people there? I haven't really got a request for that yet. You haven't gotten? No, I haven't. But do you know about it? Yeah, I've seen a lot of reels around it and they can just stop anyone and it's totally up to them. You cannot crack it. You cannot crack it. It's the bounce room. I just say no to Lady Gaga also and it doesn't matter. I have only seen videos around this. I don't know if you'll be able to strike that. but yeah we'll give it a shot but now someone has not been requested what's tell me has anyone ever asked you to do something illegal and you've said no yeah give me an example you know having those infused having those infused brownies is illegal right in India but it's legal in Amsterdam I believe they deliver it to your hotel drug infused drug infused brownies etc so we had to tell them no while they were in one part of Europe but we said if you go to Netherlands maybe there is one option where we connect you to the vendor and he will get it dropped so that was interesting so have you noticed that the amount of they are less complaining they are more classy no they are very classy like someone who is rich because you provide services right who complains more that entry level guy or the top level guy entry level guy the top level guys are too good i mean i look up to them i was looking um i think he'll be easy on me ranjan pai from manipal the way he puts his requests the way he accommodates the way he you do services for him okay in fact gautam pai who's my investor so well spoken from manipal so well spoken the way they articulate there have been sometimes we have fucked up but the way they navigated beautiful Nithin beautiful one day Nithin is Nikamat okay this brother our team has been flight book and Nithin Nithin the person is going and is going to go and they are talking to us our team will call our CEO of the influence our influence like that, they have to take a flight.

54:49Eventually, they have to take it. But, in the nuance of the people who have burst out in that situation, we could trash it. There is no one. There is no politeness at that level. I would have goosebumps. I mean, these T1, T2 airport cabs which go there, go there. And our teams navigate the job. They know their character from customer behavior. and I'm a big big fan of people with absolute power being calm and the way they articulate themselves I get to learn a lot from these people actually it's just phenomenal pretty interesting pretty interesting actually they can just trash it's okay with them you know there's just one thing in common my customers need to say truth if something's not happened then it's not if something's delayed then it's delayed something can happen doubtful so one secret you have to just tell what is that you have to if you are saying that you are 10 minutes and 12 minutes it is his on his forgiveness we survive until 10 minutes he is okay even if it is 2 minutes late it has to be mentioned so we have that's our only way to navigate this we just have to tell you that sir US visa 10 days

56:17what's the rarest luxury in the world right now rarest luxury experience experience I am personally fond of people should try Antarctica and that there are these new cruise lines which takes you to death I believe disconnect from internet go to a space where we don't even know for 7 days if you are alive or dead or whatever but I find it very interesting if someone would want to go to Antarctica absolute, fully covered comfort, but experience a world where no humans live experience that wildlife that nature, the aggression of it and just know how irrelevant you are and then come back, because everything else for me is attainable that same thing shows that different ways what you call tourism in Europe etc my personal travel has always been extreme i have tried everest the base camp i would want to try the summit but i thought that was also interesting eight days different terrains different people just walking to your true gut your true health your true jose or the way this runs the system of going to everest base camp and coming back this for me is interesting other people of course they love Switzerland people love New Zealand people love the rarest experiences which you have heard and you have seen and you have gotten it done for people I think there was this New Year's where people would want to be in Tokyo and then later in the night in New York happens that you celebrated twice the same year that was like something one of my customers did and i was like wow that's like two new years in one day that i think is a great experience one very rare kind i think space tourism will open sooner or later that will to start with it will be like ai etc and to be able to other experience some really phenomenal properties have come out especially from brands like six senses etc which are really out of the world to experience to even experience these latest set of global musical events is also really amazing the entire energy of attending Taylor Swift and all the other new yeah

58:54in fact we were auctioning this bat which I think Virat hit that 6 and that's under auction under our surveillance from one of our vendors that's also I think auction is going on 17 lakhs but I don't know where it will head another thing with thatch and eyes is that they are very confused that what to gift Raj Shamanic Raj is all so the customers and when you have a birthday our whole team is seeing that we give it so what do we see that is a very interesting space So we mostly collectors and ask them what we can give you. So we figured out the oldest book we gifted another customer. This is the oldest book available in the market for sale and we purchased this for you.

59:52Then we got like something World War this gun used was for you. Now that becomes the difficult part. I mean, I think every time this is Karan Jor's birthday in Bombay, all my customers are asking us what to send to them. Almost there are three, four florists who from three, four days prior just celebrate Karan Jor's birthday because everybody is sending him flowers plus something else. I'm like, wow. And then I realized there is a different room only to collect gifts for many of my clients. And I find it very fine. Pretty cool. What do people give you? What do you find? rarest collectibles for them or stupidly very simple and softest of things like either this or that there's no mid luxury there's no mid level brand people kind of like in my customer base it's either extreme or as soft as just linen shawl or some pashmina so if your customers if you are and you want to gift something and you're my friend and somebody who can't think about what to give give me an adventure even if it's something i've done i would love to do it again really because i i love adventures so what happens in finland is that uh bentley takes its customers so a lake gets frozen for only a specific time and they give you this bentley and there are 20 30 of them and then you are on this frozen lake.

1:01:29Sweet. Yeah. So I would love to do that. So I would do like crazy adventures. Stuff like that. Yes, of course. Okay. Tell me there are three things I want to do. Can you get it done? Tell me. Let's go. So let's try. So my answer is yes. Yes. Okay. So let's say first is I want to do. I have to do bungee jumping but I have to do with the mountains. I would do it with a helicopter. So the helicopter stays stagnant? And I will jump from the helicopter. And then? That's a bungee. Like helicopter will be tied up the rope. And will be below. Any mountain? Any mountain. Anywhere in the world. But with complete safety and security, I want to do that.

1:02:14So let's start. Let's start working on it. From mountain. Oh, mountain. In mountain range, you have to do desert. Mountain and then the helicopter will go. and just like and then pick it up again will that be able to bear your weight yeah people have done they used to the last I got to know from somebody who is a friend of mine who has many adventures this Russian dude in the UK he said professional stunt crew you will get them together get a copter and then you will do it so that'd be so I think cut to give me 24 hours I'll send you options so tell me how okay example let's build this key

1:03:04I think the royal box of this the Wimbledon piece is one two of what is it tell me explain me I think that's only reserved for the royal family and maybe one or two otherwise but you can't take that there I think I can't take that and I honestly this particular I have a resource which is my team that knows all the nuances I know I don't know about tennis but there are some events that are specifically for industry leaders like for example world economic forum etc this it's doable yet not doable depending on who you are what your representation is and stuff like that i mean it's limited to that i mentioned i would have mentioned of the bar in germany which has bergen bergen you can't buy and get in yeah you can't buy and get royal box you can't buy and get in yeah no matter how rich you are even bay club i don't think how rich you are matters for them to give you a membership doesn't happen like that raya there are some people who are really holding what they truly believe and that to crack even her mess i mean nobody can promise you the bag nobody yeah even with certain watches i don't think anybody can promise saying oh we'll get it even as far as rolex is you know there is some sort of protocol they follow and following the protocol is their business tell me about the famous ones like monaco gp f1 med gala yeah med gala people can go yeah in fact there is so much around that so many products how much do you pay and get there there's so many products around these there are in fact meet and greets with many of these events at the top most level right you will get to meet certain celebrities there's a cost to it even during tennis matches you want to meet you know um the legends there's a cost to it yeah med gala also like there are there are different layers to this if you are able to donate sponsor an x amount there are many people who have actually been a part of the red carpet etc what's the most expensive experience you have curated for somebody so there is an airport in switzerland which is very close to a skiing spot and that this customer actually flew his charter and they would never allow this charter to land in this airport because it's a military airport and he said team if i can land here it's just another 20 minutes i'll get to my skiing spot otherwise i have to travel all the six hours i don't want to do that then my team actually figured out to speaking to that airport authority saying what does it take for a private charter to land here and they said we don't do that but if you really want to do this then you have to get one other ex-military pilot who will get onto the same charter and help you land here and against which you have to make this much money in euros and we said oh this is so expensive and this might take some sort of legwork and we told it to the customer so the only way it's possible for you to land at this military airport with your private charter and your kids is through getting an ex-military guy to be in the flight and all the other things they gave us a list of things we have to do and there was this entire check on this customer and who is he etc they went about telling this to the customer and i was thousand percent sure he'll say no but he said yes he made those payments he just landed just so that he does not have that six hour thing and for me it was astonishing and I was having goosebumps saying what and then the more I see this the more I go back to not being in the race that's why some 60 lakhs or something for just the landing yeah because it was just not landing then he could also take off from there and he was like four or five of them and also flexing it no

1:07:32so that flexing value is something flexing value is the highest I mean with reservations being at these places these events imagine you are at certain event and you know that this fellow is sitting there and you're sitting here that flex for him is what he may be seeking for may not necessarily be that that is giving him comfort often maybe the view of sitting again watching a match and cheering along with people is more fun I mean this happened with the World Cup here while I was also delivering tickets etc quite early in my startup career with Indulge I realized the ones who are sitting in the AC box and watching the cricket match have no clue at all there's a TV box what do you have to eat?

1:08:15that you sit with a little crowd and experience it and then I was able to I was able to sit with them but I was able to sit with them you know all that like all of that drums and people and all that but can normal people get tickets to expensive places why not like Wimbledon can normal people get it everything is now commercialized very little is left for royalty everything is sold out is what I'm saying when everything is sold out I mean if everything is sold out then how would you get access so that's what I'm asking no there's no chance you can be coi reseller ya coi structure ya haan wo hota hai na you have connections product or service reseller market hai so there so you have that resellers network yeah that you can get things done globally yes globally in fact that's an undercurrent every industry has that if you see with all the music events happening in India people are just buying it to resell it and it's just happening so blatantly it's sold out on the day one and the event is 3-4 months later and by the time all of these people are again reselling through whatsapp through social platforms and communities saying I have 4 tickets I can't go do you want to take it and all that is happening I don't know maybe there is a market in that space I was reading somewhere you've arranged VC breakfast at VC's brunch or champagne at Mount Everest.

1:09:57What was it? So what happens is that Delhi, Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Everest. There are two spots in which this can be established where a full table is only set for you. You come in that very morning, have your breakfast, then Kathmandu and Delhi. Simple. This actually happened precisely because when I was trekking, my share he put me on to someone who just started off this because he was a local back in that village on the top and then I started to talk to him and then that person used to drive helicopters there it was a big business that they access from the there a network there it was a level in fact it's very funny you you also get a cappuccino today.

1:10:51So... Base camp on cappuccino? Base camp on champagne. Yeah, champagne and... It's a black tree. And it's a little further base camp. You have to have a chowmean, cappuccino, all these things. I was going to go for 4-5 years. I was getting everything. Now something will happen. But this was a little early advantage. that because I had the relationship and I had the relationship and I told him that if you have customers then we can do this charter helicopter piece like Aertmandu to Everest and that I will do it and that I will set up the whole let these people come I will make sure I take in Everest in water too almost everything is on top that is so expensive because there is no other way which can go up so we've now so done that it's casual

1:11:49So they were choosing a unique experience for a very important meeting between set of investors, board of directors, etc. And while the request came in, we said, okay, will you be able to give us like two full days? But, you know, we could do this. And then the team went about hand-holding them. Katmandu, Katmandu, Basecamp, Basecamp. breakfast photos all of that they didn't and then coming back and you said that there was another thing which i was reading which were very very interesting not absurd interesting i would say

1:12:35yeah that's the highest demand your wife will have no that is crazy i assume why nanny need to be before the demand and supply was slightly proportionate any working class couple wants a nanny their supply and demand ratio is very bad I believe some people are building startups around this or stuff like that but finding the right nanny also is very very important it's not that just offering a nanny right like finding a burkin you still how to navigate that but finding the right nanny for your household is something fair it's difficult it's difficult can you arrange that now we have evolved but yet it takes effort and time for you to be able to find the right find the right one it's very risky to give your baby in someone's hand for months and years maybe and they become a part of your bedroom to be able to find the right nanny.

1:13:40As such, supply and demand is very different. I mean, almost everybody wants a nanny right now. Almost everyone. How can this even happen? They want them to be unmarried or some want them to be married. They want them to be young. They want to speak. They want the nannies to speak English because they're like, oh, their kid will pick up English very soon. They want so many permutation combinations. Sometimes it becomes very difficult and nannies also want to be paid well. They want their own room. They want privacy. Then they want one holiday. Holiday as in, they want to go back home for Diwali and then they want to go back home for Holi.

1:14:19And then they want to only work for certain hours and they want the right, almost the same food and so on and so forth. Then it becomes slightly complicated. So have you noticed that the wealthy people are more specific and more confused? The people are more confused I mean I feel like everywhere where there is a large menu the person is confused where it is fixed that I need this that little it knows what I need in the same space UHNI knows that they can do so much and then they are often confused we try to narrow because it's also madness when you have the man and women on the same group and they have very different ways of experiencing the same place and then between them we have to keep our calm because we have to keep our calm because we are in peace between husband and wife and wife.

1:15:14Then when those people narrow down that they want to experience this, then we have our… But often I tell my team that you don't ask their opinions, options. First, give your options first and say either this or that. It's so much easier for a person to choose this or that or give them a you know plate full of things eventually they will end up doing nothing or they'll be more lost because they didn't do certain other things which they must later believe that oh this was better and that is the problem just suggest the top two and be like if these are not ready then give them more but this is top two like your helicopter bungee jumping I think I'll give you two options instead of saying seven mountains seven different visas then you will actually you will actually you will actually you will actually human psychology all experience you will experience you will experience in your mind then you will then you will narrow it that this is the most adventurous but when you do it you will feel maybe K2 would be good because there is water going down or the forest or the Cape Town also shows so that will keep you I have a visa I have a visa I have a visa where do you have you have a visa you will call you will call you will come

1:16:30crazy this is pretty cool though like a lot of people who have like this I could instantly think of at least 20 friends in my head jinn koi chahiya ho correct tell me one last thing which I would really want to do is joh bhi aap services provide karte ho joh bhi experiences curate karte ho jaisi cheez hai leke aate ho un sab se commission lehte ho na bich mein lehra tha because I was desperate in starting one year because I never heard before the fund raise concept I didn't listen to it I didn't make money like money I made money I made profit I made money I made money then of course I made volume and stuff like that it has been a problem I mean it was my life a problem actually engineering I did a magazine when I got good when I got good I realized that social media I got my money I got everyone goes to social media every meeting I'm going to go to Instagram I'm like I'm going to play the whole magazine I don't have followers on Instagram I'm just here then I closed that then I was frustrated because Instagram everything analytics is giving me who click on how much click on and then I'm like let me do one thing I get my magazine readers and advertisers I don't know how to do Instagram touch and feel luxury brand that workout so much workout took a 2017 year for four-five years I got to know so many people, when it started being mature I didn't have any other options with Grace.

1:18:22When COVID happened, everything was running on WhatsApp. Medical, online, offline, payments, everything, because we adapted to that technology. Like it opened, there was a full torque effect. The whole luxury industry and UHNIs had to be full. The whole world had to go. The whole thing was not to buy. And those people were holding on to it for three years or whatever. And that's when I arrived. And that's where the first critical mass came. Otherwise, a guy starting right now, he will only be able to crack 15-20 families us ke baad ho stale ho jay abhi jab hum 300-400 peh hai i think abhi ya haan se thousand jana aek journey hai thousand ke baad woh explode ho saktah hai so i am very happy that yeh joh kuch hua it's not aaj ka i mean it's been a lot of work which has gone but koj commission he liet hai abhi nahi so starting me survival ke liye of course hum log lere reth hai commission lakin fir me shark tank pe shark tank pe jane ke pehle we decided that my investor came from the new he said no you have to only count the revenue of memberships and that's your only membership and no commissions neither from brands nor from customers there's no service charge what was the first we were doing starting of the company was established at 1 lakh rupees per annum in which 5 % service charge was taken from both sides and that time we were making some money but what did I realize that if a customer is 1 lakh and a year 10 crore is taking a $10 crore on any other thing additionally I'm giving 5 lakh rupiah service charge and vice versa this was very interesting on the paper but from a customer standpoint and an emotion standpoint I thought 4 lakhs membership with zero commission both sides is the best way because I should only grow in the number of customers subscription yeah what happened on Shark Tank we had an invite we didn't apply in our mind that Shark Tank this luxury which is today etc email came because in economic times there was a lot of articles about indulge and it came organically so Shark Tank team said this is very interesting right to me then I did a survey with my team that time we were like 2022 18 of them said no don't go why?

1:20:33they were like luxury industry we never saw that Shark Tank will see there no one there has come like a brand that's UHNI's that you focus on the 1 % and you don't need to go to the 1 % or you can get a risk. But by that time, we didn't have capital in the bank. We were sitting in our whole practice and sitting in SOP and we thought that if there's so much marketing and there's an opportunity where you can become a household name. Then we said, okay, let's do it. But that was just a gut feeling. Then when we came here, first time we faced the cameras, first time we told our story and it was very organic, nothing manipulated, no one piece which was like the outcome was really brilliant we became a household name with vendors, clients NRIs adapted quite a lot because their families who are in India we could have service them because the first part of Shark Tank only came on YouTube global not in YouTube India then India eventually we all sat together in office and sat on TV we loved it and then by the end of that january we had like one big spike of customers then we became and you know a sizable product or business and we totally respect value and enjoy that we were on shark tank i mean it's another thing altogether to stand validate yourself give a chance for someone you're giving your right of someone having their opinion on you with that 10 minutes they have heard you, they have no idea where you're coming from none of them belong to our industry none and I'm not too sure in their own space if they've done much just by themselves or what they've built like some of them have done, some of them are not I don't know but I'm giving them onus to decide on who I am is like a gut thing but we took that and we accepted whatever they said Aman was very sweet so were some others and some other people look at it very differently it's all fine but eventually I'm very thankful to Shark Tank because now we registered in history that we went on Shark Tank as we some people know that that show for them means a lot because it takes courage to do something not coming from that background neither am I I am not a consumer luxury products I am a very simple not by choice that is the real that is the truth to be able to try to say doing this I mean how much risky it is to manage a billionaire I mean he can shoot me down now there are 300 of them and we are still on it but now we are a little more relaxed well thank you so much thank you for spending time this means a lot I mean I don't know how to tell you you are like lighting up so many lives you're not lighting just me I can't tell you there must be so many people who are attached to me who are not directly working with me maybe a maid's son who's going to school even he's attached to me in some capacity and you are just lighting with absolute truth of what we are doing will affect his life also so what you're doing is phenomenal Thank you so much.

1:24:08We are trying just like you to be able to make it. We are figuring out every day. Figuring out is a habit for us. It's a movement. It's for people like us who are ambitious and want to figure out things in life. And I'll tell you this is the best because I see that after arriving a person does what does it do. And when I see and this is figuring out space, I think figuring out space, it's unbelievable. It is. Well, all the best to you as well. Thank you. What do you play? Now I'm playing a paddle. A lot. Now I'm getting a racket. It's amazing. I'm not watching a racket. But I played this morning also.

1:24:50Paddle is a sport. No, actually, I'm playing squash 20 years. I played squash in my life at 6 to 8. Crazy. Where I'm in Belgium, India, Hyderabad, Kerala. My work took me to different places. but squash racket and that was my romance that was my game that was my spirituality that was peace to me and that was aggression that was everything thank you so much for watching this episode end to the end now you have to do three things first of all subscribe to this channel because as much as you subscribe we will get better and valuable guests for you number two tell me in the comments what did you feel good and bad so that we can repeat mistakes and And which guest you want to see in our podcast so that we can take them and give you more value.
