0:10While doing all of those research, I got a chart which was an organ chart. If you have fear and anxiety, what is bad? Is that true? Your intentions control your thoughts and your thoughts impacts your emotions and your emotions impacts your organs. Now, lungs and kidneys function in pairs. If the couple in your family is not functioning properly, children have lung disorders. 70-80 % of your serotonin and dopamine, which is your happiness drug, is produced in the gut. Cortisol also comes from the gut. Your digestion is directly impacted by your emotions. When you get angry, you eat something good, it becomes a disease in your body.
0:45Those who get angry, they have more gallbladder stones and liver problems. Your profile has been very interesting. That was tongue chart. What is this? How does the tongue get started? Today's guest is Dimple Jangra, a lifestyle medicine advocate. They have made a healthy health care center from their health care center.
1:07We know what is the sign of our blood in toxins. And such a food combination that people never consume. If you are fiery, then you should eat cooling foods. What are the cooling foods? We add in the seeds, cucumber, zucchini, water rich fruits, watermelon, musk melon, sweet grapes. Before meeting, you feel anxious. If you have a stomach, you have to keep a lot of weight. Is that also part of emotional support? Of course.

2:16So they say one man's nutrition is another man's poison. Okay. Right. So in Ayurveda they say, Okay. Three biological building blocks. Bath, pit, or kaff. Okay. Bath, pitta, kaffa, we can also say. What happens? So we have five elements in our body. Panchamahabhut, Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Akash. Okay. Earth, water, fire, air, and ether. Or space. So when these five elements come together, it makes the human body. Now earth and water comes together to make the gross body or the physicality of the body, the physiology. So your body, bones, muscles, tissues, teeth, nails, hair, is made with light and prithvi.
3:01It's like earth and water coming together to become clay. Okay. Then you have made a matka from that clay. It's a physical form, support, stability, structure. You can see it and touch it. It's a tangible value. Then you have the agni. Agni is called pitta This is responsible for bringing you to life When you have a pot You have put it in the pot You have put it in the pot To drink it That's how our body There are different forms of warm energy What is it? Agni is one of your body It's your digestive fire It allows you to digest food Then there is a transformative fire Which has been burned in your body It has become digestive juices then it transforms the plasma, blood, bone, muscles, tissues, teeth, nails, hair, sperm, egg, these things in transform.
3:53Is it like the fire, like the energy you've made? It is an energy. It is a warm energy. Right? Earth and water is also an energy but it is a stable energy. This aggressive energy is called fire? Agni? Yes. So earth and water is a stable energy. Water is a moving energy technically, fluid energy. Fire is a transformative energy. It transforms.
4:15It transforms wood into ash. Correct? So, the agni is our body. It's a transformative energy. It transforms your body. There is an idea. You have got a fire in your belly. That's what they say, right? You transform that idea into reality. You have got a business. So, like that, our body has an agni which transforms things into human body parts then you come to the water air and space it's there in your lungs it's there in your mind space that's why we say give me some space meditation is creating space so these are the five elements now you have the five elements I have the five elements but our proportion is not just like that in my body air, space and fire earth and water is less okay so i'm a vatth body type dual body type aapke body me from what i see fire which is reflecting on your skin and ice fire okay makes your skin you said three vatth, pith, kaff, you may call it pith i see pith for now but if you check your nadi with an ayurvedic doctor they can tell you if you have an underlying dosha also whether you're a dual body type so earth and water dominant kafa ہوتا ہے fire dominant pit ہوتا ہے air and space dominant bat ہوتا ہے آپ dual body type بھی ہو سکتے ہو kafa pitta kafa vata اور کیسے پتا چلتا ہے آپ کی ناڑی سے پتا چلتا ہے so ayurvedic doctors check your pulse but now we have ayur genomic test technology کر سکتے ہیں آج کل بہت technologies ہے آپ online dosha quiz کر سکتے ہو it can be an elaborate set of questions 30 questions 50 questions 100 questions آپ جیسے جیسے answer کروگی آپ کی بال کیسے ہے is it thick is it thin you have a test you can send me yes yes on my website we have a dosha quiz people have 25 questions to answer what is your nail type skin type hair type digestion what type of dreams are you what type of colon health you have so many questions you arrive at your single body type so what do you think I'm a fat so what does the fat body type in their body is a lot of heat compared to earth water fire and air so So, Agni, which is more in the body, his mental, emotional, physical make is also dominant.
6:37Meaning, your mental makeup will be ambitious, aggressive, competitive, wanting to excel in everything, wanting to be the number one in everything, leadership skills, great orator skills. This is Agni's quality. At an emotional level, they may sometimes be short-tempered. Okay? but they're also someone who motivate people a lot and themselves. They don't get down very quickly. They will rise up again and not like a phoenix. At a physical level, their stomach is more sensitive in small intestine. So if their stomach doesn't control, then they can have symptoms like burning sensation, acidity, reflux, small intestine, leaky gut syndrome because of excessive fire.
7:24Their liver is sensitive. There's anger in the liver. There's anger in the liver. There's more anger in the liver. So it can cause a lot of liver sensitivity. Your liver is not functioning to its optimum capacity. It has a transformative fire. At any point in time, your eye consumes 10 million bits of information. So right now, I'm consuming every color, shade, texture in this room. But my eye transforms that information in the brain and tells me that you're talking to this gentleman, Raj, that's all you need to know. I don't need to know, okay, where's the color texture? If I sit and analyze all 10 million bits of information, I'll go crazy per second that transformatifier in your eyes now people who have high agni are also prone to skin disorders quite easily pimples, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, pigmentation I had urticaria so I know where it came from agni it felt like my skin was on fire their hair hair thinning hair loss graying of hair is very quickly agni is more so agni is the stomach small intestine liver eyes, skin and hair in the body.
8:28Kapha, earth and water is dominant in the lungs and in the flesh. Vata is dominant in the bones and in the colon. So Ayurveda dissects which part of the body is dominant in which element. So that you can better identify diseases and dissolve it. But then why do you balance? If there is fire, it's good. It's good, but that fire is burning inside. That's why it's green. So now fire is more. Camp fire has increased in campfire. So when agni becomes more, you have burning sensation, acidity, ulcers like symptoms. You don't need that. Agni is less than indigestion, bloating, sluggishness, fatigue, low motivation in life.
9:12This can also be less. This is when you are less. Yes. If you are fiery, you have to eat cooling foods. What are the cooling foods? Sabja, Takmaria seeds. We add in Faluda. Summer season starts to start to make Faluda. start with chia seeds. Sabja is different from chia. Chia seeds is a good source of protein and also good source of fat. Sabja is sweet basil seeds. Tulsi seeds are what. What else? Cucumber, zucchini, water rich fruits, watermelon, musk melon, sweet grapes. Then you can also have berries, cherries, strawberries. They are astringine in nature. Astringine means it reduces your body water retention.
9:51If it is water retention, it reduces collagen. collagen ko tight kata hai. You can have bitter foods like neem, karela, spinach, celery, cilantro, curry leaves, moringa, spirulina, sare harisabjaya mein thoda sa kadwa pan hota hai. Methi, isse khun saaf hota hai, to skin thik honi lagta hai. You can have astringine foods like I said, berries, cherries, strawberries, hummus bhi hai us mein. Aapke sare roti, anaj, bajra, javar, makhai, ragi, broken wheat, amaranth, samaraisi, sab astringine nature ho ta hai. Mitu laf, apke shereep mein moatapa aur water retention को काम करता है okay and आपको कौनसी चीजी अवोइट करनी है आपके पेट में अगनी जादा है not literally but the warm energy is excess तो आपको खटे foods अवोइट करने है okay आप अगनी में खटे food ना दाले right meaning lemon tomato tamarind oranges tangerines grapefruit जो खटे taste ke hotte hai okay jab aapko acidity ho raha tab khatta food or nahi kha ho ga paani puri nahi kha ho ga ya acidity is tikshin agni mya bhot tha toh maani your skin is gonna then you know curse you for it then you don't want to eat salty foods when your agni is high aap khanemain namak zada loge to usse bhi agni zada padega and water retention padega fir aapko tikshin af foods nahi kha nahi pungent spicy foods chillies capsicum onion garlic radish so now Red green chili is a lot.
11:17Now, I'll tell you another thing. You're a pitta body type. Now that you're saying, just like how an alcoholic is addicted to alcohol, a smoker is addicted to cigarettes, a pitta body type is addicted to sour, salty, pungent, spicy foods. I'm addicted to spicy foods. Body type identified. Let's go, at least free consultation. We have free consultation. The rest of the rest is okay. Agree, not agree, just agree. It's all on the beach. in the face. This is 100 % on it. It's more. It's more in the body. Now, it doesn't mean it's more or less. It's a very addiction. Guaranteed. And no, when you're sad, I told you your eyes are red and your skin is sensitive.
11:57It's more. So, you're drinking water. Instead of drinking water, you're drinking water. You're drinking water. Keep a bottle of water. Put water. Put water in it. One, two, one. Let it swell up. And when you're drinking water, you don't need to drink water. Because it's so slippery. It'll just slide down your throat. Let it sit. and where it passes, pate, GI tract, small intestine, large intestine, all areas, it will get cold. Cuff has lipid metabolic disorders very quickly. Cuff has inflammatory disorders very quickly. Cuff has earth and water which is more in the body, they have a lot of diseases.
12:34Earth and water is the heaviest amongst the five elements. So they have obesity, diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure fibroids tumor cyst okay their body is different they have the thickest body type thick bones broad structure great skin great hair because their earth and water so in their body oil is also so you know clay when you make earth and water together it has an oily texture also to it so many people disorders are very good thyroid PCOS PCOD you meet anyone with diabetes thyroid PCOS PCOD weight come I'll be like weight first you get your kapha unbalanced address the disorder then we'll talk about your weight weight will be the byproduct of you healing cup lipid metabolic disorders inflammatory inflammatory disorders they're the thinnest body type thin brittle bones dry rough skin dry rough frizzy because air and space quality is not moisture nor warm So their body has cold sensitivities quite often.
13:43So their neurological system is very sensitive. Their nervous system is dry and sensitive to hot and cold. And they don't have that warm energy. So their digestion is very weak. They have bloating, indigestion, constipation, colon health issues. their bone density is lower because the air and space is growing more in the body. Perforation is growing in the bones. So, their osteoporosis, arthritis, rheumatism, spondylitis, their brain is more in the air and space. The moment of thoughts also goes up more. So, their anxiety, overthinking, stress, depression, like symptoms can be faster. Hair loss also can be very hyperactive.
14:19Pith people are athletic people, medium build. They put on weight easily, they lose weight easily, fluctuate. 5 kg suddenly put on you can go to gym 5 kg suddenly drop so pit people will fluctuate cuff people will put on weight easily and struggle to lose weight so thin, medium, thick these are the 3 main ayurvedic biological blueprints dual body types all three are equally in balance if you know your body type it's like knowing the model of the car you're driving let's put this theory to test okay let's assume we're just assuming at this point that and you have told me that it's like food right I will do that for two months and what changes will happen if it happens I'll tell you and I'll tell you something in public you're ready done let's do it now you'll do the diet I tell you to do for two months you'll do it okay full diet simple short I will tell you in the spot.
15:21Okay. Full diet, I assume it's good. I will serve something. I will add some things and I will remove some things. Trigger foods. It's not just magic from the vegetables. It's not one ingredient. Let's try. No, I'm serious. Two months, we take this challenge. Since we've identified your body type here, now I'll give you the diet plan. Okay, let's do a better version. I'll tell you what I do. You tell me and I'll correct you. I'll go over the trigger foods first. Celery and cucumber juice with moringa in it. No lemon. that I wake up I do it first ghee and then this I take coconut oil but now I will make coconut oil do I take ghee or should I just take ghee or take sabja seeds you should start your day first but then I take that and directly go to the gym that's okay first you take a glass of warm water with ghee then you take your cold presuppose so there's two glasses of fluids in your stomach then go to the gym and then that will work like a washing machine inside the water will cleanse your system so with celery and cucumber I eat 10 to 15 black raisins as well soaked overnight very nice so this is it then come back from the gym I take a protein shake and then protein shake I eat whatever my Maharaj Ji makes sometimes it's dosa sometimes it's orad dal ka chilla sometimes it's matr ka chilla so whatever like my morning is with carbs okay whatever you can take orad dal okay take a moon dosa kinova dosa moon paratha you can eat too moon, kinova, ragi it's very good for you jawari, makhai, amaranth all good take a moon dosa okay Then I come here, then my lunch is this.
16:55Lunch is... What is it? This is plant protein with raw spinach, with chia seeds, with berries, and more than that. And moringa powder and another cheese mix. This is lunch. If you mix it with a smoothie, it will be a meal. That's fine. That has to go. Sorry. That has to go. No, you have to change that. Then there's pomegranate and walnuts. And then there's salad, tomato and cucumber. And a carrot, evening, a little late. With sprouts and almonds. And then again, I take something very healthy protein. Either I'll eat broccoli with paneer. Or I'll eat mushrooms and paneer. I will eat a protein shake and then end.
17:54Now I will change one thing and it's probably going to hurt you. Though in a fair time you can always have a whole food. You can't have a smoothie or a protein shake. After you have a protein shake, you have a dinner, you have a quinoa, moong, ragi, or you can have a porridge or a steamed diddly. Done. afternoon mein aapka joh metabolic fire hai woh dugna ho jata hai so in the morning when you wake up your metabolic fire rises itna hai in the afternoon when the sun is at the peak to aapka metabolic fire itna zyada hai and for a person who is already a pitta dominant body type in the afternoon where the agni is high aapka to tien guna zyada hai agni aap us agni mein sirf protein shake ڈالo ge to kya hooga woh agni baaki chizho ko kharab kare gha to aapko dofair ke time before you have a bowl of salad to eat a bowl of salad or to be sauteed no one is good in Ayurveda you don't eat much cheese except for carrot and cucumber you have to eat everything or to be sauteed you have broccoli cucumber carrot tomato which you like avocado is very good sweet potato is very good I love sweet potato you have a big bowl of salad two roti avocado and sweet potato yes I can eat it it's very cooling for you avocado has got vitamin E great for your skin great for your eyes It's great for your hair, great for your overall health.
19:13It's also great for your kidney health because it has potassium in it that you need. Have avocados, have sweet potato. And after that, you must eat 2 roti, sabji and dal. Equal part carbs, proteins and vegetables. You have to eat what you want. 20 minutes until you want to eat. Because you know, you have to honor that agni, that energy in your stomach and give it a wholesome meal. A smoothie is literally taking something cold and pouring it on the agni. it is only going to splinter your agni from inside in the agni you add ice cubes it will crackle everywhere it's not soothing how do you deal with a campfire you put some dry leaves into it first you add some sticks then add big lakadi your lunch should be like that you first put some salad in it sauteed vegetables then you add two roti sabji dal then you finish it off with a probiotic drink a coconut buttermilk or chaas or kombucha or kimchi or a little or a little papad or a little you have to take a good drink with the drink you have to drink with the drink not in drink it's Viruddha in Ayurveda it's called Viruddha means wrong combinations of food that can cause bloating and indigestion explain what's wrong combination of food so Viruddha is a separate deep subject in Ayurveda which I love it's one of my favorite subjects it says the science of food combining can either make that meal nourishing or poisonous for you.
20:39For example, lemon and milk is going to curdle and break. So you drank your milk and drank your juice and drank your juice. It will break the juice in the stomach. This usually people don't do it. This is common. Common sense. They will never do it. Curdling is coming out. So after the curdling process is finished, we eat the milk. So it is safe. It's not happening inside your system. So all foods react with each other. You go to the stomach and they mix. They react. But obvious. Some reactions are healthy. Some reactions are unhealthy. So for example,
21:24next morning constipation will disappear. 100 % I can tell you that. VAT symptoms goes away when you have milk with ghee. Milk has good fat. Ghee again has a lot of good fat. Right? It helps in lubricating the GI tract and allowing having smooth evacuation of waste. Kachra smoothly bahaar nikal sakta hai. Aap aani system ko under se grease kar ryo. That's a great combination. Dood mein agar aap dry fruits daal do. Kesar daal do. Ya koi masala jaisi cinnamon, cardamom, clove. Wo be bharat postic ap ke liye. It's a great source of protein for you. But again, I'm not a big fan of dairy unless it's from a cruelty free farm.
21:58Agar us mein cruelty hai to us mein health nai hai. Simple rule. Fir us mein hormones rehenge, antibiotics rehenge, pus, blood, inflammation, which we don't want. Other combinations are healthy. Fruits, you eat nuts. It's very healthy for you. Because in fruits, there are sucrose and fructose which you have sugar spike. Nuts, there are protein. So, that protein makes your digestion a little slow. It's more of a meal in the food. So, that sucrose and fructose is not absorbed slowly. Glucose spike is not. So, for diabetic patients, there's a great solution. Fruits and nuts eat. We don't get that sugar spike and jump in our nervous system.
22:33But fruits and milk unhealthy combination okay fruits or dood the most toxic combination the worst thing banana milkshake strawberry milkshake mango milkshake I'm notorious for talking about strawberry milkshake so I'll refrain from talking about it it's not a good combination it's very unhealthy now visualize blueberry shake banana shake all of these unhealthy very why do you put in the neembu will you squeeze some lemon in your milk and make a lemon milkshake why not no Vitamin C is in it. It is in it. It is in it. I am hearing lemon milkshake. I am hearing lemon milkshake. Orange milkshake.
23:13Mossambi milkshake. Why do you not do it? Because it is very high. It is citric. So, lemon, orange, tangerine, vitamin C, ascorbic acid. It is high. Apple, blueberries, cranberries, raspberries. It is also vitamin C. It is also citric acid, malic acid, fumaric acid, oxalic acid. Ascorbic acid. Hote hai Sare fruits mein acids Hote hai But it's a little bit Fartta thoi hai Fartta hai So if you put milk With apple Make an apple milkshake Aap kitchen pe rake Thodi dher baad hao Aadhe ghande ke baad E ghande ke baad Dekho Woh kala honne lagta It starts oxidizing With the air Or e ghande ke baad Aake dekho It starts separating Aapka apple milkshake Ooper gada hooga Neche paani aase Alagsep tair raha Okay Leave it on the kitchen And come back after some time Any fruit With milk Is an unhealthy combination except sweet, buttery, ripe fruits like avocado and mango.
24:09Mango milkshake is healthy because mango is warm. There are also vitamin C ascorbic acid but a ripe mango which is warm and milk which is cooling cancels each other and is cooling for the body. So mango milkshake, if you have a glass of milk, you will not have pimples, you will not have heat on the skin because it cancels each other. Avocado milkshake, if you have vitamin E, good fat in milk,
24:36That is great for putting on weight. For children, it is good for getting better. In the blood, we can also get less inflammation in the blood. This is the body of inflammation. But this is a drug. You should not take anyone at home because nausea is ill-tied. But in the blood, you should not add strawberry in the blood. You will drink strawberry every time. The reaction leads to undigested metabolic waste. you are becoming a waste product which is not able to identify your body and not able to remove nutrition since it is not digested it is not going to be in small intestine for absorption and assimilation that metabolic reaction can also rupture your gut lining your gut lining is ruptured when it is fermentation curdling is the process there is a reaction between two food groups it can do leaky gut syndrome it can leak in your blood then it gets down to your skin that's why in Ayurveda they say Viruddha leads to skin diseases okay why skin because when something leaks from your gut your body's defense mechanism is that it's not over the colon they bring it towards the surface of the skin to release it through the pores in the form of sweat but the toxin is very big it's cut down to your skin then it starts causing pimples, acne, rosacea eczema, psoriasis, urticaria and all of these skin allergies.
26:02Skin allergies is the first sign of toxic material floating in your blood. Correct? Will blueberry is the same like strawberry? Blueberries has a lot of anthocyanins. It also has ascorbic acid, vitamin C to some amount. Blueberries and milk is also not a good combination. If you do it once again, one blueberry milkshake doesn't have anything to drink. You're not going to get immediately eczema Nausuriasis, no. When you repeatedly have the wrong combination of food over a period of time, that cumulative damage will rupture your gut lining and lead to toxicity in the blood and skin issues. And other issues also.
26:39And in how many days will you see the effect if you stop doing it? If you stop doing it? I would say 28 days to 90 days. In 28 days, for some reason our body responds in cycles of 7. 7 days you will start feeling comfortable 14 days 21 days you will start seeing results first the result is plasma then blood then muscles then odipose then bone then bone marrow then skin and hair then sperm and egg so it goes at different levels so what you ate today what you ate that's the effect in your sperm or egg in the reproductive system is the last okay so body there is a hierarchy there is a sequencing which it follows.
27:23Correct? So the first nutrients goes to the plasma. The purified part of plasma becomes blood and so on. So if you do anything for 28 days, I 100 % guarantee you'll see results. It's as simple as that. That your life is like a compass. If I change one habit or change one degree, my compass has shifted by one degree, my destination has changed forever. That's a simple rule with any dietary protocol. Don't do anything. Do anything. You'll see results. also put it. You have started your vegetables. Only vegetables seeds. After 90 days, you will call me and say that there is something different in my system.
27:57This is a blueberry shake. It doesn't show me. No, but there are a lot of vegetables and blueberries and milk. Now, let me tell you what else is the mistake. So, blueberry and milk. It's almond milk. Almond milk doesn't react with fruits. Why? Almond milk and coconut milk are a fruit milk. Nuts are dried fruits. So, you can drink almond milk? you can drink blueberry almond milk but you can't drink spinach why? spinach, kale are rich in oxalates which binds with the calcium in your body and leads to kidney stones okay now it's a proven science spinach, kale like leafy greens we can't digest it quickly so a lot of people avoid it but you should eat it because it's a healthy source of nutrients so how do you eat it?
28:42gai, bakri they chew food throughout the day a cow choose food for almost 60 ,000 jaw movements 1 hour or 1 hour a guy 8 hours he eats the grass he eats the grass we can eat it at the time you don't eat the duffer you don't eat the smoothie you don't eat the smoothie the process is over so your mouth doesn't make saliva when you chew food you're creating that much saliva which goes to your stomach and aids digestion you drink a smoothie
29:21So this is only going to slow you down in the long run. So what's the hype around raw food there? So raw food started because the processed meat industry ruined everybody's gut health. lot of people who were on the processed meat carnivore diet or heavy meat diet had severely what do you call constipated systems reason being harvard has also proven that meat seafood eggs takes 24 to 72 hours to get digested in fact 48 hours to 72 hours they don't digest it fast they don't break down in your system fast so that's when you're Fasar hua hai, us mein koi fiber nahi hai Aapki meat, seafood, eggs mein fiber nahi hai Toh fir usko compensate Karne ke liye, ham other extreme chale ghe We started eating a lot of raw food to compensate This, but this and this extreme Doesn't work in the long run Aapka joh balance hai, beach mein hai Ayurveda says, ap jitna cooked foods Khau ghe, utna apke shari ke liye achcha hai Because evolution of human beings is such Ki ham cave age mein kaccha khate te sab But when we started Learning how to cook our foods The amount of energy that our gut needs for digestion reduced by half.
30:31You don't feel much in the pot of water because you have already put it out of the body. It has digested out of the body. Then you have to eat the pot of water and your body will absorb it quickly. Energy is always coming. Your gut is your second brain. Now the gut is contributing to your intellectual activities. Intusion comes from the gut. So human evolution is We have learned to make food Our brains started Growing in size Interesting, tell me foods Because we are talking about raw foods Which foods are the three-four foods Which we never had to eat raw? Spinach, pork Never had to eat Then all your anach Obviously, you never had to eat Chowl, ghee We all eat it Your whole dals, lentils, beans, pulses, legumes we eat it as we eat it we eat it in the night we eat it in the day we eat it in the day then we eat it again we eat it again you can't eat it again exactly so begin with spinach and kale the leafy greens in leafy greens you can eat it in the leafy greens you can eat it in the leafy greens how do you eat it?
31:38making it with chutney that's the only raw food that is acceptable in Indian culture and the fruit is which is the body which is the heavy metals you can remove it cardamia, mercury the fruit and parsley they are the two most potent vegetables you start making it raw juice and start drinking. 80-95 % of your mercury, cardamium and heavy metals will come out of your system. And heavy metals leads to diseases. So you can eat these things. You can eat dry fruits as well. Don't eat it. Because there are some defense mechanism. There are phytic acids in lentils, beans, pulses, nuts, seeds. They have a shelf life.
32:16Nature has made it this way. The outer layer wads away pests, insects. so that they are making their shelf life. If you are growing it, then what happens is they release the defense mechanism because when they are soaked, they think they are going to become a plant. So they release the defense mechanism, the outer layer, the phytic acids and they absorb all the moisture. Then it improves your strength of the power. Then in this case, a lot of people say that I have a lot of bloating with the rice, not to leave the rice, and all of that. At least for the rice, if you cook it in an open vessel instead of a pressure cooker, So the smell of purens, lectins Again defense mechanism and chemicals of that particular grain The smell of purens, you will take the smell of the smell You will take the smell of the vegetables
33:06You will never get bloated, you will never get uric acid problem You will never get gout problem Interesting, okay I want to go deeper on organs Because you touched a little bit and emotions Because both have said a little bit And we will talk about that and a while ago when I started to study psychosomatics and neuroplasticity and at that time I had a very interesting thing how immunity affects your own emotions and gut system like a bunch of other things while doing all of those research I got a chart which was organ chart if you have fear and anxiety then what is bad is that true? I have that chart so I wanted to ask you because when I researched you also talked something around that I'll show you so you know I talked about liver anger, frustration now in Ayurveda I found the truth for it Ayurveda says liver is a seat of pit our body is living in liver and agni and agni is also responsible for a short temper, anger frustrations so this emotion corresponds to the tangible quality that Ayurveda spoke about ki liver mein pit hota hai and pit fire is also responsible for anger and frustration so jiska bhi non-alcoholic fatty liver has got anger and frustration are you saying 100 % sure 100 % I'll tell you what I noticed it in my father I always watch things in my family and I learn and that's how I ended up becoming a health coach because I noticed my family suffered a lot when my father was very angry at some point we had something to be angry his stomach was growing up and he had actually hepatitis B liver problem and his liver would get destroyed to the point that liver transplant was not given and the family was devastated distraught already we had so much to be angry So this was right after my actually divorce and abusive marriage.

35:16So his liver started getting affected. He obviously had a lot of anger, frustration, helplessness. Why did he have this with us? Rath to rath, when his liver transplant had been planned, something changed in his head. Something changed in his head. He was literally like, you know, in bed. We were, you know, flying to and fro to meet him, giving him hope and all. And my uncle finished finding a doctor to do the liver transplant. Agley din Subha, he woke up and he said, I am done. I'm done being sick. I'm done being the sufferer. He got up. He went back to the beach. 10 km din mein, mitti mein. 2-3 hours of walking, exercising, gym, this, that.
36:02Something in his head shifted. The driver changed the gear and the direction. Instead of heading for a crash, he said, you know what? I'll take control. The driver changed. The body followed. If the driver is driving right, the car won't go left. This is your physical body. Your intentions control your thoughts. And your thoughts impacts your emotions. And your emotions impacts your organs. Now, heart. Dard happens in the heart. Grief. Heartbreak. someone passes away in our life leaves us relationships break marriages break death we carry grief in our heart truly this energy is always here you clutch your heart when you have a bad news and you also clutch your heart and gratitude when you have good news why not your stomach you won an award you're not going to hold your gut you're literally doing this always so it's a very natural intuitive intelligence inside of you that stores different emotions in different parts.
37:11Grief is always here. Lungs, sadness and depression. Now lungs and kidneys function in pairs. If the couple in your family is not functioning properly, children have lung disorders. Because they don't know how to function in the pair. Mom and Dad are always crying. Bronchial disorders are really it's a very deep concept chinese medicine believes in it ayurveda believes in it chakra you know theta healing all of these sciences believe in it really lungs and kidney malfunction when you don't know how to function as a pair
37:56wow powerful very so sadness gives a lungs sadness and depression helplessness When you see helplessness all around you, sadness all around you, your lungs start getting affected. And shallow breath hota apka, jab ap depressed hoti ho, apki breath shallow honne lagti hai. Anxiety ki wajaj se bhi breath shallow hoti hai. Jo insaan khush hai, uska breath kitna dheere hota hai. Again going back to monks and sages who live in the mountains for their selfish reasons. They have slow breaths, long breaths. They are not anxious or sad about anything. So your depression, your sadness is stored in your lungs.
38:38Your grief and heartbreak is in your heart. So they're kind of similar. It can pass on. It could begin with sadness and then end up becoming far more severe. Or it could begin with heartbreak and become depression. Your kidneys, fear and fright. And your pancreas, guilt and shame. I've always asked diabetic patients, are you feeling guilty about something and they be like i feel i'm not a good parent not a good enough son literally in a second they answer that question without thinking why i ask that question shame during the childhood they were called oh you look like a girl oh you're so dark oh you're so skinny and there was a lot of shame attached to their physiology and they thought this is it this is who i am the shame is who i am it defines me as a person the emotions from your childhood builds up, builds up, builds up inside of you and always translates into a disease whether you see the connection or not but what about people who are born with it their karma plays a role
39:53recently I got very curious because it broke my heart when I saw young children coming to me with serious disease It's like literally in one consultation, I broke down. It was a Zoom consult with a patient living in the US. And he had severe case of alopecia. His eyebrows and hair completely fell off. And his skin was always bleeding from psoriasis. And he was barely 10. And he attended my workshop and he told his mother, this is the only person who's made sense to me. Let's fix my gut. And when I saw him, I just broke down. I switched off the Zoom and I told the parents, I'm so sorry, I'm unable to compose myself.
40:28You know, I was crying. Then I turned on again. And he was literally staring at me, that kid, telling me, you guys are responsible for my suffering. All the things that you've done in this universe is the reason I suffer. And he was speaking the truth. It pierced through my heart. How do you know that I'm unhealthy because I don't know that I'm getting a generational trauma? Close your eyes and go inwards. That's why I said that in 48 minutes, you sit in one place. because which questions you have not got in the books or in the modern medicine, those questions are inside you. You close your eyes and in a place, in a place, in a place, in a place, in a place, in a place, or in a place, you have an inward journey.
41:11Meditate. What do you want to ask? You don't ask anything. Expect nothing. Ask nothing. Just experience yourself. There are two ways of handling those thoughts. Either become a silent spectator. Take a step back and recognize that I am not this emotion. I am not this thought. This is my anger. This is my jealousy. And this is not me. I am watching it as an outsider person. What is happening in them. That's number one. Number two. There is a lot of information on your computer. Your editor says, sir, there is no storage. not have. You can take external hard drive and take all the data here and transfer to the data.
41:54Now, in the morning, you can check external hard drive. You can check if there is data. You can check it. You may be dead. You won't do it. You can download it. It's in a safe cupboard. Now, your computer is free. Whatever you don't need to turn into hard drive, you can put it in the cupboard. You will take a book. You will download your thoughts. You will say journaling. When you start writing, your brain is a muscle. It looks at it and says The thought that was running around in circles in your head has been downloaded on the paper. You close the book and put it away. Your brain says, I don't have to think about it.
42:36Downloading your thoughts is a powerful way of releasing the stress and the pressure in your brain. Now download it. The most powerful and richest you'll be when you have zero thoughts. Correct? yeah interesting you in sab ke bich mein you said about breathing something breathing you were talking about ki shallow breath ho ti hai jab am khush ho te hai or shant ho te hai our breath lambi ho ti hai there are a few animals who breathe slowly and then they say ki dog bhot da da fast breathe kare te is liye they die faster yeah they have a shorter life span elephants bhot da da slow breathe kare te is ki they have a longer life span is that true kind of human beings may be can you apply the same Oh, 100%.
43:20You know, I don't know the right dialogue.
43:27It means, you've been given certain number of breaths in your life. So, take a long time. It's a long time. It's a long time. It's a long time. But see, that metaphor has a lot of meaning in it. You know, dogs expend their life and energy very fast by huffing and puffing and panting. short lifespan turtles elephants whales long deep breaths they can even hold their breath for really long same rule for human beings the only thing you can control in your physiology by the way is your breath so you need to are you saying every day should I start breathing what's the practice conscious breathing we say prana in India yoga you say breath work box breathing it's like it's like yoga went to US and came back as Columbus yoga Columbus yoga so now Ayurveda time has come in our lifetime we are going to see Ayurveda go abroad and come back I heard recently Megan Markle announced that Megan Markle's pregnancy time she started following Indian nation to Ayurveda and I was questioning that Megan Markle the royal family, the world's wealth everything, everything's access all the things itni duniya advanced ho gahye itnes kaha se kaha poch gahye science medicine all of these things who q indian ancient ayurveda medicine pe aayi like what's the reason now top of the top world leaders people royal families har koi ye realize kar raha ki indian ayurveda ya indian ancient medicine is the answer for almost everything okay two ways of answering that where does the sun rise technically it doesn't east the sun rises in the east east is the most conducive place for the growth of herbs jadi bhutiya where the sun rises where the sun rises so eastern countries are blessed to have a tropical climate that allows the growth of herbs so jadi bhutiya is the most in India and China here is traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda then about this why are we not the leaders in the world.
45:44When we have this 5 ,000 years, why do we not talk about this in the world? Our only disease is Atiti Devo Baba. When the British comes, we say, come and kill us. That's one of the reasons why we've suffered the most because we're very generous. India was the richest country in the world. It was attacked by the most number of countries. British I, Portuguese I, French I, Dutch I, Arabs I, Mughals. Everybody came and plundered and looted the country. How to break the backbone of this country that has been so independent, rich and diverse? Divide and rule based on religion, gender, caste, community and break their backbone which is a support system, yoga, Ayurveda.
46:27And burn their universities. Nalanda University? Ayurveda, there were many scriptures burned. You know how many scriptures burned? There was a deliberate act to destroy Ayurveda. 18th century, the colonial rule, the East India Company, established English Education Act. I have to talk a lot about this. It's part of my thesis in my PhD. English Education Act was passed where the sciences taught in English were given funding for research and development. What were the sciences taught in English? Western medicine. To dump pharmaceutical medicines in our subcontinent. To improve the sales of the chemical industries that were being set up in Europe at that point in time.
47:09there was an industrial revolution happening there we have made so many chemical products pharmaceutical products where did you put it in Australia in India dump our countries became a dumping ground for their products the only way to dump these products is to break our faith in preventive healthcare life sciences like Ayurveda you don't have to do intentions, emotions, energy you can eat it you can eat it You know, 7 years ago when we started the clinic, I had no intention of becoming a health coach. I didn't know the A-B of Ayurveda. I just started it as a CSR. Doctors, therapists, you do it.
47:49But there was a gap, language gap, communication gap, time gap, barrier gap. I started getting into the R &D to bridge that gap. Then I said it and now again I say it. We're going to witness Ayurveda becoming a global phenomena and a household practice in our lifetime. Not 100 years later. Ye lifetime. COVID was witness to that and proof to that. Jab COVID hua, our clinic suddenly was catapulted onto the internet. And we had students from 74 countries joining us for classes. Why? Because they're desperate for answers. They want to be in charge of their body. They don't want to be guinea pigs at the hands of the pharmaceutical companies that are injecting lifetime drugs into them with lifetime damage.
48:32You're just a number on the balance sheet. if you have diabetes you are a cash cow to them for the next 50 years I don't agree with that fully I agree with the fact that Ayurveda is not getting due but I don't think that all pharmaceutical companies are best in medicine just not selling I agree with you there is a middle ground innovation which has been 100 ,000 crore and I agree with you there also and specifically with diabetes I have seen diabetes patients left, right, center and I have because my family has a diabetic history and I have seen people that Ayurveda who has been able to treat it and who has been able to treat it and modern medicine and millions of millions of people are saved because of allopathy medicine I'll tell you where so there is innovation there is, people who have life are not like that I agree with you I will not debate that point I also say to you when western medicine and eastern sciences come together they can save humanity guess i agree i'll tell you another point okay to support that western medicine is powerful when it comes to r &d research and development yes proof of evidence ayurvedic science preventive health care sciences like naturopathy homeopathy unani help in preserving health and preventing diseases okay now when the two sciences come together it's powerful ayurveda can give you preventive Curative Healthcare Life Science for chronic lifestyle diseases like diabetes, thyroid and all of that.
50:03This can help you with antibiotics, which happened during the industrial revolution to save you from infections and diseases that can kill you overnight. COVID, pandemic, right? Anything that is mass, here they can play a powerful role to quickly arrest the disease. But even English medicine says that once you've taken English medicine, you have to take another set of medicines to recover from the side effects. Because that is for you to recover from death quickly. But these people help us. So what are my point? I am a big believer of Ayurveda but I am also a big believer of allopathy. Western medicine.
50:40Western research. Western research and Western medicine. I know that a lot of Western medicine comes from cytogenesis. But at the right time, right place, if you don't have it, then life will be lost. It will be another thing with side effects. Correct. And obviously, if you have a heart attack and you're a very like healthy individual yeah or you're not even healthy individual your lifestyle is a little bad and you start practicing the principles and foundations of Ayurveda there are a lot of chances that you will never have a disease. I also recently found out there's something called emotional constipation oh god just like emotional constipation is there are a lot of unprocessed emotions that are built up and then they cause so much congestion inside your body and it can be seen in little things.
51:29Let's say the moment you go in an important meeting you get frozen because the constipated memory inside your emotions it can be clogged. Do you know that physical constipation is also converted? Every time I meet a patient who has chronic constipation not mild constipation mild constipation is because of bad lifestyle food and nutrition I've always asked them do you have trouble letting go of things? They're like I'm a control freak I like to control everything I said you're controlling even your waist yeah and everything happens before meeting next if you're sitting there you're unable to let go congestion everything is there because you're not allowed there's a traffic jam in your body there's not free flowing thoughts emotions and energy anymore so the small things like meeting anxious feels or is that also part of emotional of course you know when you you know modern science has shown that emotions are stored in the gut when you feel anxious, scared excited, happy, nervous, butterflies fluttering in the stomach you experience it here not here because your gut has more neurons lining its walls than there are neurons in the brain so you experience more here than here than here okay then your gut is a second brain Intusion is from your gut.
52:55If your face is not clean, your intuition will be shitty. You'll have shitty ideas. Literally, stick in the mud. Constipated, I mean. Stuck up. These words mean you're constipated and your gut is not clean. 70-80 % of your serotonin and dopamine, which is your happiness drug, is produced in the gut. Cortisol also comes from the gut, which leads to inflammation, indigestion. Then anxiety is increased. Indigestion and anxiety are both related. When you are anxious, you have to be in-digestion. When you are experiencing anxiety, your stomach and gut cannot digest food. Your digestion is directly impacted by your emotions.
53:40When you have anger, you eat something good, you eat food in your body. It grows up in your body. Agni and bile goes up. Bile from your liver. Liver is a seat of pitta and liver also produces bile. Right? And it's stored in the gallbladder. Then you have gallbladder stones because it's very bile. Those who have more anger, they have more gallbladder stones and liver problems. That's why when we have anger, we said to have a glass of water to take it first. Be quiet. Then eat it. Never eat food when you're angry. Never eat food when you're feeling any kind of negative emotions. When you're in fight or flight mode, you have anxiety, indigestion, cortisol, all this.
54:23rest and digest when you do your breath is deeper it's not shallow you're not running you digest better and you have less negative emotions you have serotonin and dopamine interesting how emotions very interesting sub interconnected every little thing that we do but after doing all these podcasts these conversations are we doing everything wrong no but we are work in progress evolution of mankind kind and humanity is that we work in progress. We'll never be perfect but never is also a neverland like it doesn't exist. Okay because you were talking about emotions and you were talking about gut. Many times we say that healing foods are emotional foods.
55:10Like if your mother's hand is more healed than hospital food. Any day. Why does that happen? Because in hospital it will be nutritious meal but your mother's food is better and it will heal. Like I get more energy what is the logic behind it because and I'll tell you true story right I because 70-80 % of the times when I'm not like when I'm not traveling 80 % of the time I try to eat more healthy because I know when I travel my food will become so I've tried to maintain it this way so I'll give a meal as much as I should eat it so I'll eat it so I'll eat it so I'll eat it but when my mom I love dal bati when she makes I extra fill I mean if I'm 100 % I'll increase 120 % and I still don't feel bloated you're well digesting like how is this possible
56:1080-90 % time I don't like that usually if I eat heavy meals in a restaurant my next day it's very slow I feel sluggish mom jab ati wou mere ghar pe rah thi sath aar din tak mom sath me rehti mir sath or wou sath ar din tak mujhe roze aise ghana kailahin kush na kuch but still I don't feel very sluggish I don't feel very sleepy there's a reason why jab maa khana bana ti hai na har ek bheendi har ek beans ko check karke bana ti hai tezi se kaam nahi karti hai har bari mein kaam nahi karti hai because she knows she's feeding her son her child you think that restaurant chef loves you like a son? No.
56:50That's why I'm making food for my child. I'll make food for my child. No, right? There's a genuine love and attention to detail that the mother puts in. But food is the same. I'll tell you. Potatoes, onion, garlic sprouted. She'll say, this is bad, I won't put it in the soup. Sprouted potatoes, onion and garlic are poisonous for the body. There are glycolides. Liver and kidney damage. This chef will waste. Take the milk. Make the potato. You know, put it in the panipuri, masalpuri and all of that, right? Let's not waste. I don't care if it goes waste, the mother says. My child's health is important.
57:26Number one, attention to detail. Number two, she puts in a lot of love when she's cooking it. Literally, practically, tangibly, she puts in love. How? Water carries memories. The food that she touches and cooks also carries memories of the love that she's put in it. Ask a chef to cook her food with a lot of love and compassion. And ask a chef to cook food with anger. taste the two different meals it tastes different but how do you know this body how do you know that mom made this food energy how do you know that your fans have given you love or hate why did you write it how do you feel maybe I will write angrily Raj thank you so much for your content secretly I hate you you have to write it you don't write it well you feel that energy you feel the energy of your fans the food feels the energy of your mother and attention to detail non-living thing non-living thing you're hurting this sorry no I eat the day no bad karma I want in my life when I was going through your profile this is the last question I want to ask you your profile I saw a very interesting that was tongue chart I never heard I never saw so I wanted to ask you what happens how does the tongue know how the disease you said the tongue part is the heart is bad stomach is bad liver is bad something like that you was talking about what is it you know your entire body is interconnected correct are they isolated organs without any contact with other organs no they are all interconnected your nervous system is also interconnected right your organs have connections with different parts of the tongue different parts of your palm different parts of your feet the bottom of your feet is also connected to different organs they will literally press a point here and you will shout and they'll say they would press the point where the stomach is and if it's sensitive they'll say that organ is suffering so traditional Chinese medicine Ayurveda, acupuncture, acupressure they use this science so tongue reflexology says that different parts of the tongue correspond to different parts of your body how exactly it's a nervous system.
59:44It's a far deeper science, which I haven't been able to decode yet fully. But you can maintain your oral health by doing oil pulling, gargling, brushing, tongue scraping. There was one story I'll tell you. A doctor here in Goa, who has treated a lot of our cancer patients. He was told that this boy in Hong Kong keeps having seizures and collapses every now and then. So the doctor said, you can send his tongue photo to me when it's cleaned. He said, this part of the brain, go check in an MRI, there might be a blood clot. Exactly where he said, they found the blood clot. Okay, exactly. By just looking at the tongue, he was able to see which part of the body had that, part of the brain had the blood clot.
1:00:30Now, the tip of the tongue is your heart. Then stomach, pancreas. So it literally goes from here down. If you have to remember it, you don't have to remember it. Just say that the tip of your tongue is your heart and you go backwards. What are the other organs below your heart? Interestines, pancreas, stomach. No, this way. Heart, stomach, pancreas, intestine, bladder. All the way back is colon. Right? Your left kidney. This is supposed to be left and right kidney. Liver and gallbladder. Lungs. Okay? So this is a slightly more complex science which I have not been able to master yet. but I respect that our body is a holistic piece of nature.
1:01:12It's not a set of isolated organs put together in the body. They're all interconnected through the nervous system, through the blood. They carry messages and your body is constantly communicating with you. The stools that you pass every day is communicating. It's like a master checkup telling you what is happening inside the body. Your urine is communicating with you. Your tongue is communicating with you. Your palm, the bottom of your feet, your skin face map is also communicating with you. Which part of your face has pimples and acne see a woman with pcos pco d they'll have herotism hair growth acne is always on the chin and the upper lip well prepared this is raj for you guys
1:01:54every part of your face corresponds to an organ now this is stomach this is lungs peat if it's not clean then there are pimples here there are pimples here lungs here are there are uterus if it's not clean gynecological health here heart you know pimple on your nose we would say in school someone has a crush on you or do you have a crush on someone because when you have a crush on someone and every time that person passes by you you fluster and blush there's a rush of blood to the tip of your nose you feel it the tip of your nose corresponds to your heart and this is something i said in i think somebody else's podcast my father would have a pimple on the tip of his nose once a year it would be so bad he wouldn't step out of the house for three days.
1:02:34And a few years later, he was in the hospital for his open-heart surgery, multiple blockages. I made that connection much later when I started reading this. I was like, oh, I remember my dad when we were young, he wouldn't go to office for three days. Tip of the nose connected to the heart. Your kidneys, your liver, your kidneys are here. That's why after a night of drinking, this is a bag of inflammation and disease. Puffy under eyes. the temples correspond to your liver this corresponds to your liver I was waiting for you to ask your small intestine and your bladder now your small intestine is also where pitta fire lives your pitta is high you have to reduce your body heat sabja seeds, cucumber, celery you have to leave the water chilies, capsicum, onion, garlic we came back to the same conversation we begin where we we leave where we began thank you so much for doing this I'm so glad thank you it was a pleasure talking to you I could have gone I genuinely didn't speak to you about anything that I prepared I'm glad you're from Indore no?
1:03:41yes where are you from? I am from all over Chennai, Bangalore Bombay, New York so I was born in Bangalore grew up in Chennai okay then I did my masters in Bangalore then I moved to Bombay then I moved to New York then I came back to Bombay okay what city do you enjoy I love New York by the way oh yeah I love it. A lot of people don't like New York but I love New York. New York has an energy which is real which is raw and authentic. You can't pretend to be something there. You will get thrown out. Yes. So it's like a time vortex also. You know New York works very quickly. So the vortex is such that it just sucks you in and you're giving a lot of your time, energy and life to make that city.

In today’s episode, we have Dimple Jangda, Lifestyle Medicine Advocate and author of Heal Your Gut, Mind & Emotions. She explains why caffeine can quietly harm the body and how an imbalance in the three doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha affects digestion, skin, emotions and energy. She also breaks down the role of the five elements and why balance matters more than health trends.
In this conversation, we discuss food science through an Ayurvedic lens, wrong food combinations (Viruddha Aahar) like milk with lemon or fruit, the truth behind raw food hype, and why some foods should never be eaten raw. Dimple also addresses common myths around cooking and nutrients, explains how processed foods have damaged gut health, and walks through practical dietary changes by identifying trigger foods, including a real-time diet breakdown.
Beyond food, the episode explores how emotions, memories and intuition are stored in the gut, why anxiety and skin allergies are early warning signs, and how Ayurveda connects mental, emotional and physical health in today’s lifestyle.
