Transcript
Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:00I moved here for a year and we both went celibate and just locked in. I think we could 5X our lives. See this guy right here? One of my good friends. He started out as a videographer for top creators like Mike Thurston. Or should I say best friend? Founder of the Creator Club, this is Louis Armstrong. Most men I know will argue that they're secure until they're tested. And then they start getting jealous and then they start getting concerned and then they start getting worried. How can a man become more secure? If you're comparing yourself to loads of other guys, if you're literally in better shape, That's one of the easiest ways to make yourself feel more confident.
0:34In order to have true discipline, we should be able to abstain and restrain ourselves. If I go sober for a month or two months or three months, and then just go on a massive bender after that, just completely defeats the point. So I was in a really bad way. I can't lie for like a month. And then that's when I've realized like, what am I doing? This year I've made the most money that I've ever made in my life. By far, you're in a fortunate position where you're very handsome, very good looking, very jack, a gentleman, a nice person. You have everything going for you. but I do think that quick pause guys I need to tell you something it's that time of the year where everyone's on the winter arc hype where they're building their physique which they plan to reveal at some point in the summer of 2026 but I hate to be the guy that says it most of you are going to end up getting fat you'll be overeating you'll be following some sort of a program which isn't actually going to be getting your results you're going to be improvising on the spot no doubt you won't be tracking there'll be no structure just random exercises with minimal progress seen on a week-to-week basis.
1:30Pretty frustrating, right? Well, that's the whole reason why I built the Thirst app, to help busy people like yourself find a system they can actually stick to over a long period of time. We have thousands of transformations from men and women who just plug into the app, get the exact plan they need for their goals, show up to the gym, and just put in the work, all for less than an hour of their time. You get access to over hundreds of programs and hundreds of different meal plans, everything which you could possibly need to get yourself in shape. So if you actually want to stick to something and see results without taking things to the absolute extremities, click the link in the bio.
2:09Let's get on with the video. Guys, we're back with the main man, Louis Armstrong. This needs to be an annual thing. An annual? Yes. Because the last one did well. When was that? Last June? I think we filmed it. That was in Marbella. Yeah. On the balcony. topless getting roasted shredded as well yeah lost my deposit in that apartment did you do you want to explain why you lost the deposit because I already know because I stupidly filmed the whole incident of me taking the carpet from the roof and putting it on the balcony whatever that was why did you do that again for the shade to make us more shaded yeah but I filmed it and the landlord saw it and claimed that I damaged the carpet aggressively so that was 4 ,000 euros gone nice that's what happens guys if you are content creators and you're staying in airbnbs just be careful what you do in the airbnb because landlord might completely do you over especially if you have a few hundred thousand followers like like you yeah it's always a risky one yeah it's not good how's your time in dubai been it's been very good very productive and also exhausting yeah i think dubai the problem of dubai is that there's just like so much shit to do every single day like so many possibilities you could just say no to everything and lock in but then i think like it's also beneficial to get outside your comfort zone and go and meet people that you've never met before and experience new things yeah it was uh it's very different now compared to july i locked in for july like i said i would and there was literally no temptation or distraction it's nice but it was quite boring that's why i like going to madrid sometimes because when i go to madrid i have no friends and no one knows me and no one speaks english so i'm just in my own little bubble but isn't it bad because you can't like collaborate with anyone yeah very bad for that and you feel like you get too do you ever get too comfortable there yeah well yeah but i quite it's just nice having my own peace and my own routine just doing whatever i want for like a month maximum it's good in the summer because you can just tan naked in the garden every day which we've really missed tanning naked yeah it's just my ass is so white it just looks silly to be honest certainly no naked tanning is allowed here.
4:19In Dubai? No, unless you have your own villa. But even then, like, I don't know what the law is if you're naked in your premises but the neighbours can see you. Like, is that really bad? I reckon you'll be in trouble. If you get the new apartment, the balcony, though, I think you'll be fine. I don't know, because everyone in this tower can literally see. So, yeah, it's best to just cover up in the Middle East, to be honest. In Europe, Europe's just good for nude tanning. Yeah. It's, legal nude beaches for mentira nude beach remember that we do love a nude beach people might think it's weird sure people put that post up and then the supplement company you're working with said please can you take that down i don't know why it was just my ass and then i like considered just not taking it down and losing my supplement sponsor because i didn't like being told what to do
5:14it's weird there's some people that they actually like being told what to do like being told what to do we don't like being told what no but there's a lot of people who i think just like following orders yeah because then they don't have to think they just follow the just the just the path that's already given to them and they don't choose their own path yeah which is west we certainly didn't do that we hate that no when i was working at holistat it was very clear to me that I was not going to continue getting orders thrown at my face. Even in Holocer, it's like, we didn't really listen. Well, I didn't.
5:48That's probably why I got sacked.
5:54So, um, celibacy. Celibacy. Yeah, we're currently on a celibate run right now. so i'm about two weeks in no fap mike is probably about three days in i discussed with mike yesterday about i think that if he went celibate if me and mike if i moved here for a year and we both went celibate i'm just locked in i think we could five x our lives celibate is where you don't sleep with anyone you don't even fap or can you fap i I would say you're not allowed to fap as well. Because I have, obviously, Mike is one of my best friends. And obviously, we all have our different vices. And I have many vices. I get very addicted to things very easily.
6:44But I've recently just gone cold turkey. So no alcohol. These little like nicotine things that you put up here. They're, I don't recommend getting started on them. I thought they were good because they helped me with my ADHD and helped me lock in and helped me focus. And I was getting so much work done. but then I realized I was literally just every time basically it lasts like about an hour and every time one comes out I just put another one back in and then when I want to go and do like a task which I don't want to do for example like fill the dishwasher I put my clothes on the dryer or something I just put one in to make the task not bad so it's basically just giving you like a little hit of dopamine every time then I realized I'm just highly addicted to this I don't think it's good for me it's definitely not good for you gums i think it actually restricts blood flow to your penis as well that's been i checked out and chat cheap tv so that's not good it's basically the anti-sialis so i've gone off them which is pretty hard to get off them now i'm off them for two weeks now i think i'm good no beers for a little while because it's probably going a little bit too hard on the beers and also no masturbation yeah no touching my willy just because i just don't think it's good i just think it's a bad habit like i feel like once you've done whatever you need to do to yourself in private then you just come out and you're like deflated and just it it definitely can demotivate you i think so like you can just feel it's like too too easy a hit of dopamine.
8:17Exactly. You didn't have to work for it. Not at all. And then you're just like, oh, I just really can't be arsed doing anything afterwards. And then your whoop band picks it up as commuting. Commuting. I don't know why that is. Gymnastics. Either commuting or spinning. It normally comes with us. Spinning's always a good one. Spinning my dingle. But you could argue though, if you go too strict and too restrictive on everything, then that, inevitably leads to just a wild outburst of doing everything well yeah but that's also part of this is also part of the problem as men we should be able to restrict and control ourselves without having to go just because we haven't touched our dick for like a month doesn't mean we have to just go and like fuck like a load of girls or just go and fuck some ugly girl just to satisfy our needs i think in order to have true discipline we should be able to abstain and restrain ourselves from doing those things yeah that's why like i'm obviously trying to consciously work on this a lot but like if i go sober for a month or two months or three months and then just go on a massive bender after that just completely defeats the point yeah so i should ideally we should be able to just have balance and just not give in to our urges and temptation and temporary pleasure so for you personally because i'm just gonna just gonna throw it out there just gonna throw it out there i think your biggest distraction is ladies which i think is a nice problem to have obviously you're in a fortunate position where you're very handsome very good looking very jacked a gentleman a nice person you have everything going for you but i do think that maybe women have a slight kind of hold on you now i'd love to see it's definitely a distraction a distraction yeah do you think it holds you back in any way or do you think it's just good to get out partly because i don't know i think about it in a few different ways because i know maybe the future me will look back and be like oh you know you did kind of everything that you needed to do at an age when it's a good time to do it instead of for example doing it in my mid-40s when i've got a family like i kind of don't want to be like that true um yeah and it's just it's it can be quite difficult when it's just like thrown in your face you know sometimes i'll say to you i'm like i'm just i'm trying to just fucking lock in and do some work and then like it's a world he will just throw himself at me and i'm like you know the younger me in my 20s would like literally kill for these opportunities sure and then it's like there and it's like oh i kind of i want to take advantage of it but you can very easily just get sucked into that world and it's very draining of your time and energy i think most men would do anything to be in your position yeah i'm not just saying that because i'm your friend like i actually truly believe that like girls will literally throw themselves at mike like he'll just be walking on the beach or walk along the street and girls will just approach him like that russian the other day who just said you you were looking at her she good good good eye contact yeah then she just came and cold approach them which i think is quite yeah so you said it's a little is it not stressful like when you have like multiple chicas on the go at once i would get stressed yeah um especially when you you sometimes are thinking of the the opportunity cost of oh but then there's what about the other person you know when there's the sometimes choice is a good thing and a bad thing the more choice you have sometimes could be more stressful because you're like well what do i choose which is like it's a weird situation to be in um but yeah i feel like it would be interesting to just kind of completely ignore everybody and say what happens yeah i would love to see what would happen if you just didn't meet a girl for a month and just like just like Like all that energy that you put into meeting girls and going on dates and shagging them.
12:31Like if you just put that into something else, I wonder what would happen. I would love to see. Have you like testosterone and done recently? Yeah, it's pretty high. It's pretty high. Obviously like testosterone is what drives us to hunt females and make love to them and create babies. It's like, it's a natural process, but I think. Tell you what though. I like the version of myself, the single version of myself versus the version of myself who's in a relationship. Why is that? When I get in a relationship, I just get too comfortable. I get a little bit too soft. There's just too much cuddling.
13:09You just get a little bit lazy. When you're single, you're just on it. You're just a bit more of a savage. Mike is literally so funny. Mike is literally the opposite to me. I love being soft and cuddled. so like i don't know how many people know about this but there's like different personality traits and you can be like anxious secure or avoidant mike is definitely avoidant personality type once someone gets a little bit too close to him gives him a little bit too much love he doesn't know how to respond to that and potentially just pushes himself away because he doesn't like it he feels uncomfortable yeah which i think is funny yeah and i'm the opposite i if so for example if mike was a female and I'm in an anxious personality and Mike's avoidant, your personality trait would make me want you more, which is pretty, it's great.
13:57I love like relationship psychology. I think it's super interesting. But so just to be clear as well with everyone, when they're listening to this, Mike is, and I don't want to speak for Mike, Mike can speak for himself, but you're very clear with the ladies that you do meet that you don't want anything serious. You're not leading them on in any way how does that conversation go down uh i think initially they're a little bit bummed out and then they just accept it and they're like oh well might as well just enjoy it yeah and there's all i think there's still always a little bit of hope in there but i think after that experience last year we all know well no one knows but i know yeah that was like just so intense and confusing and i i i definitely caught feels and um i was just after that i was like i can't be us going through that again okay so this this is interesting and again i don't know how many people can relate to this because me and mike like this could probably be used against us but i don't really care we like crazy girls unfortunately which are a lot of work a lot of trouble a lot of stress but it keeps you on your toes so what made you like so interested in that relationship what was it that kind of made you want to pursue it more than any than any other previous relationship i don't know a lot of it was uh something i couldn't quite explain it was like a chemistry thing it was extremely fiery there was on the romantic side of it it was like very good and it almost like you weren't even thinking about like the compatibility of each other if you were to be in a relationship it was just really fucking fun and exciting and it was just like what where is this gonna go and because it was uh it was like it was a long distance thing so it wasn't like we were around each other all the time there was we'd be together then there'd be a little bit of a break there would be together so we've always seen each other on our best behavior pretty much until obviously a little bit further on down the line they start to kind of reveal themselves and then there's all the issues with the trust and just the distance fucking hard i promised myself i wouldn't get into a long distance relationship again then i was in it again um and then i was yeah there was just problems i was like as much as i like this person it's like literally fucking me up too many highs and lows i think an issue that we have as well is that if we have a partner who's extremely jealous like our lifestyle is quite hard for like a woman to comprehend like because we're very social we meet lots of people on the street we're making videos constantly we're collaborating with especially you collaborating with other female influencers so like for most normal girls whenever they meet someone like you and like say for example you're on a fair shoot and there's girls there and then there's models or like you're constantly interacting with the opposite sex and you have obviously maybe some girls could argue that it's more difficult to trust you because you have so many opportunities you've got so many followers on instagram there could be girls dming you every day it probably is like but like how do you think like what what is the solution to that i completely understand it like i don't blame them the only solution is you just got to find someone who is like just extremely chill and is very uh what's the word just trust just trust you i would say yeah like they just have to trust you it's not like even even if if you really like a girl and you're secure that's secure that's not in the absolute opposite of insecure yeah they have to be so secure themselves and just get that oh yeah he's gonna get attention and just be like whatever.
17:44Right, okay. Because the thing is, like, if I am also going to be with someone who is extremely attractive, it's exactly the same. Especially, like, places here. I know for a fact they'll probably get hit on, like, 20 times a day. That's just the way it is. Okay, let's spin this so we can help the audience. Okay. So, if you're a man... Stay away from Latinas?
18:10Stay away from Latinas so we can have them all. Now, so if you're a man or a young gentleman and see, the thing is, most men I know will argue that they're secure. Or like, I'm not insecure. I would never be insecure until they're tested and made. Until you really like someone. Yeah, exactly. And then they start getting jealous and then they start getting concerned and then they start getting worried because once you're in love, God, your brain chemistry is fucked. that's why i don't i don't like being in that state as nice as it is to feel all those happy feelings god i don't like it i just i make decisions and my rational brain is like what are you doing yeah i'm trying to work on that because fuck i make some terrible decisions when god when you really like someone it's it is makes you vulnerable yeah but the thing is i remember i got asked this question like what's one experience that everyone should experience and i think it should be actually falling in love but also the other person falling in love with you as well because when two people fall in love and it's like it'll never be fully equal but if you do both really like each other that's a pretty sick feeling might that particular feeling might not last forever but there's like a particularly the the honeymoon period phase like not many feelings that beat that i don't think yeah there's also another quote that i read about something similar to that about saying how mosey quote or chris was it don't know who it was socrates i think um don't even know who socrates is but um i think it was like saying basically whoever in a relationship whichever partner loves the other one the least has all the power and the control yeah but i think that's actually pretty sad because like if you just love someone you should just love someone and just obviously there is risks and danger of wearing your heart on your sleeve but if you just love someone i think you should just try not to play any games in a relationship and just be open and honest would you rather be adored or the adorer i would say i've probably been both what would you prefer i don't know i've been adored i know i knew you'd say that i don't know it's just a tricky one but anyway right if you're a man and you're insecure or you're not insecure but how can a man become more secure what can he do so like for example i know let's use dubai as an example i posted a story yesterday which got like the most views and most likes ever and i was just saying like after being here for three weeks i'm just sick of seeing like young women walking around with like fat old ugly men like i don't care what people say like obviously money is you provide for the woman you give her safety and all of this shit but i just can't agree with that you said they all look very unhappy both pop they all they do look unhappy and like it's almost like the woman is embarrassed to be with the man but she's just with him anyway and the man isn't even happy because he doesn't he doesn't really like he knows that this young girl is only with him for one reason for the money so like it just doesn't make any sense i mean obviously we don't know but maybe when we're 50 55 60 we might want a young woman on or on but i don't know i just really don't agree with it i don't like it and i think you can be the biggest hypocrite of all time yeah so i can't do that in 20 years you're like proper fat drinking beers every day with worldies if i get rich oh but yeah the key so what the key to for a guy being more secure yeah because like if you come to dubai obviously to be a secure man like obviously a lot of people in Dubai do very well for themselves.
21:59Everyone has a nice watch. Everyone has a nice car. Everyone has a nice apartment. And sometimes if you come to Dubai, you could compare yourself to those other guys, which would then make you insecure. I always tell people never to compare yourself to anyone. Let's not use Dubai actually, because I think it's a little bit unrealistic. I don't feel like love and relationships is like, it's not really, this isn't a good example of any of that so let's just use like the uk or europe as or america as an example how can a guy become his most secure and proud self work on your physique for sure yeah i think if you actually like the visual appearance of the person in the mirror that can help because even you know if you're comparing yourself to loads of other guys if you're literally in better shape and look healthier than the rest of them, then that's obviously going to help.
22:50That's one of the easiest ways to make yourself feel more confident. Probably one of the reasons why I started going to the gym so early. And then I saw that visual change and I was like, this feels pretty good.
23:01Also having this positive self-talk and conversation with yourself, telling yourself that you're the prize, you're the man, even though at that point you might not be, but you've always got to think positive of positively of yourself and as if you deserve the best even though you might not be the best at that point in time if you just keep assuring yourself i used to do it sometimes before i'd go on a date when i was younger and i was a little bit nervous i used to just like tell myself like come on you're the prize you're the man like you got this it's easy um i think as well if you can like actually get that into your head and genuinely believe it yeah i like i will literally just tell myself that as well like i know for a fact that this girl's not going to meet anyone like me again yeah unless they meet mike then i'm fucked but he's probably the only one i would be concerned about but like yeah you're more emotionally available so probably all that true if you genuinely if you genuinely like believe it like i'm gonna like just be a good person like be a gentleman obviously i want to hear what you think about this but like if you have a girl and you want to hold on to her and you don't want to loser like obviously i think you should provide for and treat her well and stuff but do you think there's a balance between treating her extremely well and also being a bit of a simp yeah that's always that was always my biggest fear is when you are when you're too caught up on someone and you like really love them you can almost get to a point where you uh spoil them a little bit too much and you're too available and everything like your world is revolving around her at the moment she knows that she like a lot of times she'll lose interest so it'd be a matter of obviously you give her a bit you don't give her everything like you still say on your mission you know you stick with whatever your priorities are your career but also you know show some time love and attention but you just can't get too carried away with it i think i've made that mistake yeah i have as well and i literally just got a cream pied after my problem is that i want to do all the fun and cool shit like have the experiences travel to the country go to the nice dinners and i want someone to do it with so i want to bring someone with me to do that and then because i want to do it and then i'm bringing that person along with me they're pretty much getting spoiled every time and then they just kind of see that that's the way that this life is and i'm not going to stop doing that so i don't know but i definitely i think if you show all your cards too early and you just give a little bit too much then you basically can never ever step back from that like you you have to if as soon as you stopped like if you've already given everything and then you get deep into the relationship and you start trying to take things away they're gonna like basically just want to leave because they're like this isn't this isn't how it should be yeah so i definitely think playing it cool and not showing your hand too early on in the relationship was very important yeah i think you've you like we've both definitely done it like when you meet a girl that you really like and you just want to like fly around the world and yeah do all the nicest stuff of them i went through a phase of doing that i used to just go and travel with that was like my favorite thing to do just go away for a week with someone just have the best time ever remember that you actually haven't been doing that for ages yeah i've grown past that now i've realized it's really not beneficial for me no not in any way it like Like you are literally just being a tour guide and being an entertainer.
26:32And it can also be fun as well. But when you spend a whole week with someone, or for example, if someone came here for this first time in Dubai, I spend the whole week being a tour guide and showing them Dubai. And it's nice, it's fun. And then I realize how much fucking work I do not do. And then with each day that goes by, i get more anxiety because of the mountain of work that's piling up and then i start to you know look at my phone a bit more be on my laptop and then they get pissed off and kick off and why not give me any attention well and then one time i thought i was just like messaging other girls i'm like i'm literally doing my work and my job he was actually checking his facebook community yeah that's true yeah yeah the only good thing is of that is like at least you're just whichever lucky girl gets to experience that at least you're giving them like the best week of their lives that they'll never forget they really do yeah so you're making the world about you're making people happy so well it's the right or wrong way to do it i don't know setting the bar high for them yeah so they know that's what they deserve for a man even sometimes they probably don't deserve it that's the worst thing i've done that before that's also part of the problem and like with like this like whole new like princess era of girls who like come along and like they think that they deserve like a man to buy them like a lamborghini or buy them those fucking massive bouquets of roses yeah they think like that they deserve all this stuff but they've actually done nothing at all to deserve it and like they go on these girls like somehow go on podcasts and like preach all this stuff and then all the other like naive girls on instagram are consuming all this content and like seeing other girls females ladies getting like oh like a new rolex from their simp boyfriend or like a porsche or like all this crazy stuff a trip to the maldives and then all the other girls that are watching this on instagram like start to believe like this is reality and like this is how i should be treated even though they've done nothing to deserve getting treated like this it's just like uh that that is automatically deserved for them even though they've literally done nothing like in a relationship it kind of it works both ways like you have to both benefit each other in some way you can't just do nothing and then expect and take but the problem is as you said in places like this where guys have a lot of money they literally just throw money or gifts at the girls and they're like okay yeah and that literally fucks the whole world corrupted and again it doesn't fuck the whole world for everyone i have to be careful when i say this this is like we're kind of in this world because we're in dubai but like that is literally fucking everything up like just some like rich guy from dubai just splashing all his cash just giving a girl everything and she doesn't deserve any of it and then all the other girls start to learn like oh this is a thing let's move to dubai so that we can also get all these nice gifts and just do whatever we want and then like where how does anything ever like how can real love or a real relationship go anywhere from there yeah it just can't it's tricky i get asked this a lot relating to dating and women here in particular there is hope but there's a lot of nice girls here but you can find love here how how would you find love you where would you go uh five pop five pop uh just do doing like normal things in the morning wake up early yoga class yeah just you you see a very different crowd of people who are getting up early in the morning and staying fit and on top of their health to go into like group classes things like that um you recently said something which i thought was quite interesting you're only dating girls now that have a normal job yeah so define normal job in dubai um real estate
30:38crypto just any kind of like just a job where you have to wake up and you just you go to the the office whatever it might be just not content creator or the image girl model yeah right so and what about like the girls in the gym do you still my my only concern about the girls that go to the gym like especially seven and stuff is that it's just a very expensive membership and then like you wonder like how are these girls affording this because if they're in the gym at like whenever we go to the gym which means they're probably not at work how how can you determine whether they're well someone probably they may have wealthy parents they may have a job which they work hard for like a legit job and they can afford to go there my boyfriends husbands and then there's the other ones so it's that's the thing it's hard to tell i won't go into too much detail but i think the older you get the more experienced you are you can you can just tell you either get the vibe we do a little bit of a background check and you can just see is this someone who was like wife material girlfriend material is this someone who you just have a bit of fun with don't okay so and okay right red flags green flags true it's very easy to detect do you think i'm if you looked at me from a girl's point of view am i a red flag or green flag uh for an insecure girl then you'd be a red flag for someone who's actually secure I think it could be a green flag.
32:13I think everyone's going to, I think every woman is going to be probably slightly intimidated by the fact that you've got so many followers and that you have this extreme life. I think a lot of women will be like, hmm, I don't know what to approach. This looks extremely dangerous. Yeah. I think I'll stay away from this. And it is extremely dangerous. You're an extremely dangerous man. Don't mean to be. So if you were to find the wifey material, as we were just talking about, these girls that just get given all these gifts and by these simps if you were to find a good girl and obviously if you're going to provide this life for her where you get to live in dubai you treat her like obviously with lots of love and respect and loyalty and you actually be a good boyfriend what would you expect her to do for you well you see this the future wifey i've actually been collecting a number of richard mills for this future wifey and also birken bags so she's gonna be extremely lucky girl who's gonna receive all of these things i didn't realize how much a birken bag was it literally makes me feel sick oh it was christian mike has a safe full of designer items that is going to give to the right woman yeah she does come along yeah whether she deserves it or not because it's going to get automatically given yes that's how it works if you were in a serious relationship and you did find a potential wifey what would you expect what are her roles in your life oh great question uh someone who would be a fantastic mother uh somebody who can be quite independent.
33:59She can keep herself entertained, but also has hobbies of her own. I don't like someone who's lazy and just sits around and does nothing. I like someone to be proactive. I really could not care less if she was an entrepreneur or making loads of money. I just like to see that she has her own passions and hobbies. Someone who can support me with what I'm doing. I mean, I would want somebody to encourage me and almost help me to become the best version of myself someone who sees the potential within me and helps to bring that out nice um obviously i would like to say someone who is never gonna like give me problems or argue with me but you can't i don't know if you can just ask for complete peace in a relationship there's always going to be some issues and obstacles that will come around so that is that i think they should be able to challenge it yeah and if they do challenge your beliefs or the way that you are then you can discuss it normally.
34:59You don't have to agree on everything. As long as you can discuss whatever it is without falling out. Loyalty. Someone who shows me respect. Kind. Nice. Would it be important that she gets along with your friends or do you not care about that? I don't really mind about that. What I would like is if she gets along with my friends' partners. Nice. because uh i think that's like the perfect combination if you if you're going out as a big group the guys are doing the things with the guys and the girls they all get along with each other absolutely perfect because you're getting your time with the guys which is very important which i think a lot of people in relationships tend to neglect yeah um and if you have a partner who just doesn't get along with anybody then you almost have to give her the attention and babysit her when you're out on social occasions, which is, that's been a problem I've had sometimes.
36:00If I go out, I'm going to get attention. People are going to want to talk to me. So I have to, you know, just do my thing and network with people and speak to people. And I've had a few times where a partner has not been happy because they felt like I've ignored her all night. And I'm like, well, obviously that's not my intention, but these things are going to happen when I go out and about. So you just got to deal with that. that's why i think if you do have a partner then in those situations you have like social events and then you have like events where you're just with your partner and you try not to really try to give them your time and attention but unlike if there's a group out and it's a big social event then as long as you just clear with it like look i'm people are probably going to be talking to me all night this is networking this is how i socialize this is what i do like you have to just let me do this it's part of my job yeah part of who i am yeah what about like red flags would do you care if they went out partying every week on like a Saturday night?
36:56Would you care about their friendship group? Yeah. Yeah. I have no issues with them obviously having a girls night every so often. I think that's fair. Like we, I like to go out and have a boys night every so often. The only issue is of course, if they're going out on a girls night, of course they're going to get male attention. So you just have to hope that they're being respectful and behaving like they are in a relationship and not available not available yeah but if someone's doing that this is the thing as well like if you try to be in a relationship or see someone who has a complete different schedule to you like they're going out a lot they go to bed late it's just not compatible like i tried to do it recently was this someone who literally goes to bed like 3 or 4 a.m i was just like i i can't do this like this is completely ruining my uh yeah my day so ideally no i actually prefer you know girls that just stay at home or just go and do nice things with their friends i think every guy and again i'm not saying this from a place of insecurity but i think every guy most likely prefers a girl who doesn't go out every weekend or doesn't like to party yeah and like i reckon 99 of men would agree with that yeah if you could choose do you want to be with a party girl or be with a girl who doesn't party i think everyone's going to choose the non-party lifestyle girl yeah i mean it's fun if you're going through like your party phase as well like yeah but the problem is like it's much harder to meet the girl who likes to stay at home very if that person goes out partying then they're only going to find the girls that like to go out and party true and then you almost kind of fuck yourself a little bit that's true so how do you recommend for young guys they find these these good girls like because obviously i think so many i think it's changing now because a lot of people are going sober and not partying as much and just not drinking alcohol so i think people are definitely getting a little bit wiser and there's like all these like coffee dj parties and stuff but how do you recommend guys find girls yeah i think there is no substitute for good old-fashioned interactions in person on the street anywhere just in person versus if you try to cold approach someone on social media.
39:18It's very difficult, especially if a girl is attractive. You're competing with hundreds of other guys who are sending her DMs and she's basically going to judge you based on how good your profile is, what you're posting, what your followers are. So that's a tricky one. And that's assuming she even sees it. So it's much better to try and meet somebody in person and actually have an impact when you have that interaction. Of course, for a lot of people you might be a little bit intimidated or nervous cold approaching girls but the best thing to do is just get practice doing it regularly even if even if you're not actually that interested sometimes it's good just to make sure that you still kind of got it what's your first question on a cold approach depends on the situation i'm not a big fan of these pickup lines no i wouldn't use epic i'd never it's literally just like oh hey what's your name or what are you doing where are you from yeah um it depends i don't like to do it in the gym because i i'm very much the type of person who likes to just train and not be interrupted so i would assume that most women also maybe not all of them some of them probably want to be approached but i would leave it till after the session is done if i want to approach them you did approach girl on the treadmill the other day in the middle of our session yeah yeah she's doing she wasn't even doing anything serious though she was just doing a little bit cardio that was that was just uh uh just to keep the the practice going nice just uh yeah i think it's good make sure that you've still got the flow yeah but i didn't even ask for any details i was just saying hello yeah i think that's also a good thing to do i didn't ask for instagram or whatsapp i was just like oh hey like looking good i think as well like for guys who are doing trying to learn to talk to girls and stuff as well just even building confidence by actually just talking to strangers like could be male or female or like if you're ordering a coffee in starbucks like talk to the barista like yeah actually have human interaction everybody loves a compliment yeah especially uh some even if someone's going to the gym you know they're probably there to work on their physique you could just literally go up and say hey you're looking pretty good well done keep it up and then just walk off and they'll be like oh that was nice and you didn't do anything weird like trying to get their number or instagram or whatever maybe that might be your intention but maybe you could just leave that until like the next time the next time you're probably gonna see them more than once but at least the first time you don't like you're an absolute pest you're literally just giving them a compliment and then you just go off and doing your thing and then she'll be she'll be a little bit curious about you after that she'll be like oh that was nice yeah that's true who's who's that guy it's a good little tactic yeah i think as well like me and mike always try and do this whenever we're going around together like if we go to arabica for our coffee we'll like make jokes with the staff and like ask for pizzas yeah even though they only serve coffee and just like kind of troll them a little bit but it always like makes that makes that yeah they always love they love it they remember us then they remember our name then they remember our order so i think just actually like talking to people and having like human interactions i think that builds confidence helps you become a better speaker and just yeah for picking up girls i don't know because i haven't picked up girls for a long time three years in fact but i think it's never been an issue for me because i just like talking to people yeah this episode is brought to you by whoop the all new whoop is here the only wearable that turns your health and fitness data into personalized guidance now 7 % smaller with 14 days of battery life.

about this a lot okay for you because i think you're in the strongest position that you've ever been in i think you're continuing to grow like i i think that the way that you've grown your business now i've been like basically exposed to all these i think you have as well with the podcast like all these like business gurus and i feel like you were my mentor for pretty much my whole life and i've learned everything from you but i feel like what we have are in terms of business i don't think we really like have been exposed to like sales funnels and closers and appointment setters and all of this like i think it's bullshit it's just because we don't like it and we're not used to it but now you've obviously got a big team you're meeting all these people on the podcast that are like super intelligent business wise and obviously you have all these systems for the podcast for the youtube videos and all of that stuff now but have you ever like is there anyone that you think that you could really learn off or would potentially want to like even do like a one-to-one session as like a mentor for you like what do you think is like the next level for you the good thing about the podcast is i get to speak to all these amazing people who have been very successful and sometimes a one-to-one conversation like it does become a little bit of a session for mentorship so when i'm asking questions like i'm asking questions which i'm genuinely curious or struggling with yeah i know whenever i'm listening to podcasts i know that yeah so that can help um i guess it would just be a matter of trying to figure out which area in either my life or my business that needs the most help or where I need the most guidance and then finding the right person who'd be best suited to that because for looking up to mentors who are giving overall just life advice I find that the most difficult because there's very few people who I look up to and I'm like whoa like they have the exact life that I want most of them either they completely neglect their health or they just do nothing but work and i'm like well yeah obviously if i just do nothing but work of course i'm gonna be more successful but i don't want to live my life like that so i'm trying to find the people who have kind of found a little bit of the balance but they're literally like living life on their own terms and they're doing i'm like yes that is how i would want to live life so i'd need to find somebody like that i think the funny thing is i really don't think there is too many people like that no i think for me and mike i've learned directly from mike and this sounds this is probably gonna it's not it doesn't sound bad it's like i i've literally purposely made my calendar so that i don't have any calls that i don't have anything like super locked in so i can just be free and do whatever i want like do you hate calls yeah when i used to do one-to-one calls it would literally like almost ruin my day because i would i wouldn't be able to think about anything else because i'd be thinking about i've got to do this call and thinking for them yeah which stops you from progressing i think in your own life because you're thinking for someone else all the time like how can i help this person so it's a little bit harder for you to be more selfish and think about yourself but i think i found it it depends on the person and your personality but for me to like sit down and talk to somebody and give them everything i would find that very draining so if i would do that i remember what i should do one-to-one online coaching i'd have a couple of calls like back to back i was so wiped out i was like i was just like fuck i i can't i can't socialize now or do anything well yeah and i think also as you said about like all these successful people and potential mentors is they don't have the like work play balance that we love yeah obviously i think ours is sometimes on the other side of the spectrum more kind of play and freedom than work but like for example i think you as well like i think you could make probably 10 times as much money if you just sat here all day at the desk and did five calls a day and like just did more work but that's not actually what makes you happy no so do you think there's definitely been there's been some days where i've done that i'm just like oh don't feel very good after that do you think there's an amount of like money or level to your business that you want to hit that like are you completely happy right now where you're at uh i would say i'm i'm content and very thankful of course like i'm not in a position where i can complain about anything like it's everything is great do i need any more no but i think when there's the the potential for there being a family kids partner it's like okay well now i have to provide for two three four people now i'm gonna get like a nanny you know things like that okay now i want to buy a place of my own then your expenses go up quite drastically and i want to continue to have the lifestyle which I have and live comfortably so of course you need to earn more to allocate and allow for that to happen so that's what I start to think about now um I don't want to earn more money so I can buy loads of stupid shit it's just for me to be comfortable and for my family to be comfortable and just continue to do the things which I want to do for me the most important thing and what I spend my a lot of my money on is is the place I live my environment traveling so how i travel and then the place that i stay at when i'm traveling to that location then like if i've got that covered i'm pretty happy and also your team yeah i think flying the team with you also is expensive it would be great if you'd be in a position where you can fly all your team out in business class and you stay in like the craziest place that'd be sick yeah do you think having the team takes a lot of stress and allows you to have more freedom yeah and do you think that you would be willing to trade less freedom for more money or or would you prefer to just no no i've tried that you have yeah how did that go i didn't like it because i had way less free time i'd much prefer to have more free time but have a little less money i agree i 100 agree because the free time is like for me so important same and i think like for you as well like making content making youtube videos doing podcasts like if you're literally like just swamped with work and like tasks all the time and then you go to make a youtube video or you go to do a podcast you're not going to have that same energy yeah like you're not going to have the same excitement or like fire for it yeah and also like i think all these guys that do work extremely hard i think they have like a lot of like just monotonous tasks like i think if we really wanted to we could sit at this table all day and work for like eight hours a day and just do all this shit but like the reality is if the position that you're in now where you've got the team to just handle stuff for you and do all those tasks and you can just focus on being you like that is actually what's opening more doors and more opportunities yeah yeah for sure dan martell does a really good job of that what does he do he just he just has a his whole team it's just got everything on lock he's got kids as well he's just this year he's just traveling around the world with his kids and everything is like pre-planned everything's organized the kids are getting homeschooled everything is literally taken care of so that he can still do his work but then enjoy the places that he's staying at sick yeah is there anything in your life now currently that you don't like doing
52:00i think that i know for a fact if i spent more time doing this everything would drastically improve and that is sitting down and writing so i think this would most likely take place in the morning when my brain is like able to do these things to my best ability sit down and just write let something come to my mind and then just share my thoughts put it on paper or whatever it might be because if you when you get into this state you you get really good to come up with ideas and scripting uh videos or pieces of content so i think that's the thing i don't like the most like i have an idea for a video but i know it it will take a lot of brain power and thought to to script it and make it the best possible video um and i know that as the day progresses i just the idea of doing that is difficult with there being so many distractions and you know things going on i think we've been talking about that a lot this week dan co who you had on the podcast yeah he's a sick guy he like that's his like number one thing is like he tells everyone that they should write for an hour or two hours every single morning obviously for most normal people that have like a nine to five job or whatever might be a little bit more difficult but it just means you have to just wake up earlier and like in like in terms of actually writing like this is i've i was trying to do it as well i think it's a little bit difficult if i'm here with you because you need to literally just be alone and have peace and have no distractions at all so i think you need to go somewhere where you're like completely alone or have your headphones on or something and no distractions but i just when i wake up in the morning my whatsapp my instagram is blocked this is before i came here obviously when i've been when i was locked in instagram's blocked whatsapp's blocked youtube's blocked and then i just get a iced coffee and i sit there for an hour and just write down like anything that comes into my head and dan co as well like says that if you're struggling to think about anything like any any new ideas then you should start reading books because like most content ideas for like youtube videos and just business ideas and everything comes from reading books yeah so i think anyone who's like struggling to think creatively or stuck for ideas if you just get a load of good books and start reading every morning for like 20 or 30 minutes can literally just open your mind to so many new ideas have you read any good ones recently i've read have you heard mel robbins on the podcast.
54:36I read her book. It's called like, let them, which is quite an interesting theory. It's basically like, so, so you can basically never be annoyed by anyone again. So say someone's like doing something that's like really annoying you. Like for example, say you're, I don't know, it could be like, let me just think of an example. Is this in relationships or just any? Anything in life. So anything that's like really annoying you say someone is, say for example, she gives a good example. Say you're on the plane, and you're flying somewhere and you're so you're flying to meet a guest to do a podcast and you want to be on form and it's a four-hour flight or something and you've got like a nice business class seat but the guy next to you is literally like coughing sneezing he's not covering his mouth like it's like you you're thinking in your head like fuck i'm gonna get ill i'm trying to like rest on i'm trying i'm trying to rest i'm trying to rest on the plane i want to be my best self i don't want to get sick because i've got this event tomorrow whatever and this guy's like not covering his mouth like it's like basically she says like you have to be any anything that happens in your life where these circumstances that are completely out of your control like you have to basically just say like let them and then you have to basically say let me so then you have to do whatever you can to basically avoid being annoyed by that situation so of course you could tell them like you could be rude and you could be like oh fuck's sake would you cover your mouth or like stop coughing on me or you could cover your mouth with a t-shirt like you have to basically the art of being nonchalant just just not letting things get to you yeah like if you're stuck in traffic in dubai and you're going to be late for an event or someone's waiting for you you just have to just accept that there's nothing that you can do i think as i've got older i've got better at that i don't think i try to think of things that annoy me or like for example if you're in a you really like a girl and she's doing something that that is annoying you yeah then you just say like okay just like say she's throwing a tantrum in a taxi and then like there's nothing really can do because she's just gonna do it anyway because she's already upset so you just have to let her do it and then don't let it affect you don't let it impact your mood or your stress don't let it stress you out what used to get you the most Cindy is my biggest trigger unfortunately Cindy is Louie's girlfriend by the way of three years whenever you really love someone like, I feel like they can be your biggest weakness and trigger.
57:08Like Cindy can do so many silly, annoying things that just really annoy me. And I think it's just because I love her. I think it's like, when I think about like, why my dad used to get so annoyed at me, it's because I was always so good at triggering him because he obviously loved me and cared about me and wanted me to do things his way. So when I just get, yeah. So then he gets so annoyed, but yeah like i don't know like just silly things like just basically letting go of trying to control anyone else but yourself i think that's really really important yeah and just like say for example chris say you've got a podcast and chris is late it's annoying you're obviously going to be annoyed but you can't let it ruin the podcast by the way chris is never late no he's doing a good job but if he was like say you got stuck in traffic or something happened or say for example like the camera broke down like if you can just basically control yourself to not get annoyed and just there's always a solution to pretty much everything like you there's a fix yeah the funny thing is usually when you go something has happened and it is you think oh my god this is so bad you know in the future you'll look back and think oh actually it wasn't that bad that's what i always try and visualize like even if at a certain point in time like i've just received the worst news and i'll look back at it and think oh it's actually not that big of a deal like if you think of all the really bad things that have happened it's either been not that bad or it's actually turned out to be quite funny because it's been like such a ridiculous situation that it then becomes a good story to tell yeah nothing is ever that bad in the future like once you just get over it like that's why again in the book it just tells you like how you can get over stuff as fast as possible to not let it affect you she also gives like another example of like so you've got all this group of friends and all of a sudden you see that they're on a trip to a bifa together and like you're not you're not there and you see them like a picture of them and it's like what the fuck like why why did they not invite me obviously you'd be feeling really hurt like but then like if if you can just it i honestly really recommend the book it like explains how you can just change your mindset to be like oh well maybe i hadn't seen them for like maybe I haven't talked to them for the last year and I'm, or maybe they went for dinner or maybe I was traveling and they went and met up and then they created the group chat and I just wasn't there.
59:29So that's why I wasn't invited. Or maybe I've like subconsciously been ignoring them or not interacting with them. And they don't think that I'm, I want to be friends with them anymore. So like, I don't know. I think it's, I love psychology and I love like, in order to be happy in life, you need to just try not to let stuff affect you or get overly stressed or have anxiety so again that's another thing why not drinking alcohol not taking nicotine not following any bad habits you basically like and going to the gym every single day eating clean every single day doing your steps getting a good sleep doing all those like very very basic things makes you like so much more in control of your life and your emotions and your mindset and everything.
1:00:15Yeah, I think most people don't even truly know themselves. I don't think they have conversations with themselves or ask questions or have that, I don't know, curiosity to understand why it is they do the things they do or like the things they like and don't like the things they like. They just kind of just flow through life, not questioning anything. I'm so interested to know why it is that I like to do the things that I do and why I don't like to do things like why I am the person that I am it's being self-aware yeah a lot of people are just not self-aware which is crazy which like I really can't relate to people who just are not self-aware because what how can you possibly just live it like like for example if you tell someone to try a new food or like go and try a new experience and they're like no I don't like that but they've never actually tried it yeah like that is the worst possible mindset to have I think a lot of people especially like older people in the uk have that mindset yeah like i know what's best even though they're stubborn yeah stubborn very stubborn yeah i think that's why as well like traveling obviously all the travel that you've done and the travel that we've done together especially going to like new crazy places that opens your mind and you're like what the fuck like i would have never experienced this or never seen this or never seen the way that this culture lives like if you just stay in the same place the whole time like just opening traveling opens your mind and then it makes you basically have more confidence in trying new things yeah speaking of which where are we going next year where are we going where do we want to go we're going to cape town oh yes in february that'll be sick do you want to go anywhere else in south africa or just cape town probably have to speak to some people that have done a fair bit of traveling there i don't know if johannesburg is i think it might be a bit too dangerous yeah Fembe is going to show us around yeah you promised I'll hold them to that yeah hopefully Shimza's there as well Shimza Fembe that'll be sick I would love that I want to go skiing in Japan nice that's something I want to tick off um I feel like China needs to be I just need to see China for some reason are you gonna go next year it needs to be done I think where would be where would you I don't know there's too many big cities in China that I want to see hmm south korea as well south korea i don't want to go to china and i don't want to go to south korea shout out to betty there she's from china where do you want to go i want to go to cape town definitely that's my number one that's top the list you need to go to japan as well i want to go to japan i feel like i'd have to go if you to japan i want to go to columbia as well to be honest columbia i'm not allowed to go to columbia maybe we can bring Cindy and then she can show us the ropes yeah she would protect us in Colombia yeah she actually would nobody would fuck with Cindy would you go to little tank yeah would you go to anywhere else in South America I've done Brazil but I could go back to Brazil again have you been to Argentina yeah you've been yeah well no rugby oh yeah I remember that Argentina and Chile that's so mad yeah I was 16 though I just didn't really appreciate it but I ticked it off and when you go to Colombia what would you want to like what would you travel around clumbia i think so i really want to make like a really good video or series of videos there because i'm like people talk about it and i'm like let me see what this is about no one's making any good videos there i think there's like digital nomads like people are going there to like actually work like freelance yeah and i think it actually looks quite good yeah well i don't know if it'd be one of those places which is highly overrated or it's actually quite good but that's just a place i feel like i need to go and see we'll have to go and find out yeah where else will we go oh we haven't been to micknoss oh yeah i don't know if that's just a bit like i don't know if we're a bit over that now yeah i feel like it may have passed its prime yeah same but again i think in summer i definitely need to hop around different places in europe over the summertime are you gonna follow through with your plan yeah having a european basin yeah city hall basically i want i like i want to grind so much of the next couple of months so that everything is in a really good place and I can have a base in Europe.
1:04:29Could be Ibiza, who knows? Probably gonna be Ibiza. But then hop around to different European places like fairly regularly so that I can see a lot of new places I've never seen before, but also make like really good videos. Because one thing I've missed over the past, what was it, two months, the travel vlogs have kind of stopped a little bit, of course, because I've just been in one place. And I think one of the things I get the most satisfaction from is doing these travel vlogs. Like it's so fun seeing these new places, experiences in the local culture, but then like sharing it with people. And I think people like they are entertained by that and they see things they probably would have never seen before.
1:05:08But the problem with that is it's just, it's so time consuming. Like to make a good vlog, you got to go there. You got to do cool stuff. It takes days. It might even take a week. And usually that is not the best use of my time. so that's why like the winter head down grind build stuff and then uh enjoy the summers as much as possible i think this is a good one for mike's audience as well you can help uncle mike out here so if mike is going to be staying in dubai for the next few months and locking in so he can enjoy his summer what types of videos do you want to see on mike's main channel i feel like you're in a bit of a bit of a pickle since that because i launched a coaching channel yeah and that's doing really well so clearly there is an interest for me to put out the gym and fitness nutrition related content but then that kind of means okay we're taking quite a lot of that away from the main channel the main channel what that's for like big collaborations travel videos and vlogs but the issue with the vlogs particularly if i'm staying in the same place it can get quite repetitive it's the same scenery it's like the same kind of routine like i honestly feel like i haven't really been doing that much interesting stuff just because i've been working that's that's also part of the problem when you're locked in you you can't really make vlogs because you don't really do anything you just sit in the household do you want to watch me do the same thing that i do every day and watch me on my laptop or watch me prepare for podcasts whatever it might be i think the maybe like the sit down videos just sharing experiences and trying to guide people I think a lot of the content which I make, one of the reasons why I made the podcast is just for like my younger self who was a bit lost and confused.
1:06:50I think there's always going to be room for that. But you kind of are in a situation now where a lot of content and videos has already been made. Repetitive. You're either repackaging things which have already been made or I've already made or you're putting your spin on something. Yeah, but I think you said something quite interesting on the Danco podcast that you could just repackage and repurpose all your old lessons and wisdom and basically post it again on YouTube and hopefully aim for that younger audience that haven't yet come across you. Yeah. And then that's just going to double your audience, basically.
1:07:28Yeah. Yeah, because I think, obviously, I started like 2016. So there was an audience that has grown with me. But then there's this whole untapped market of… Exactly, of younger people. people who probably never heard of me before which i think that would be quite a good approach yeah um i had one more good question for you based on what you were saying oh i think like this would you know how you do the sit down talking videos with wisdom i think the the best thing that you could do is do like a vlog where you maybe go to different places in dubai different beach clubs different gyms and in each video in the vlog you obviously show the new environment but then you give like five pieces of wisdom in a different place yeah i think that would be good so then you've got like value based vlogs with like live lessons yeah i think that'd be good a little bit more difficult than just sitting here and doing it but i think that'd be good it's a good idea nice what's your uh goals for next year do you feel like you achieved the goals that you say for yourself this year well was it quite an extensive new year's resolution list we talked about this as well i mean i've been fucked in the head i'll be honest for like the last little while i think i probably sent it a little bit too hard on a beefer so that absolutely i don't think i had any dopamine left i think my body was struggling to just recreate dopamine again so i was in a really bad way i can't lie for like a month and then that's when i realized like what am i doing like i don't even think i can have a casual beer because like it just turns into five and then I'm just like fuck's sake and then I have brain fog but I think obviously this year I've made like the most money that I've ever made in my life by far every month I'm still making more money which is good my main business which is the creator club like everyone's as happy as they could possibly be got like 170 members we've done like the most amazing trips all around the world this year and I think that's also like part of it is that it's very hard for me to lock in when I know that I've got a trip that I'm hosting and like I want to bring the energy I want to bring the vibes I want to make sure everyone's having fun yes a lot it is a lot and like my community is very much like me like they like to work hard they like to go to the gym they like fitness but they also like to have a good time as well so I'm very very like I'm super satisfied and fulfilled with the way that the creative club's going I'm super happy with that but I do think that I don't know I think it's maybe just because I have more responsibility with the creator club now whereas if i compare myself to last year at this time i was in bali alone without cindy and i was doing 75 hard and i was super super locked in two workouts a day eating clean had abs for the first time ever had no distractions the creator club wasn't where it was today so it didn't take as much work or responsibility and i keep comparing myself to like that version of me last year because i looked better physically and i wasn't drinking alcohol like last year I probably drank alcohol like 10 times in the whole year.
1:10:30Yeah, you had a good year last year. Yeah. And then I'm like stuck in my own head basically with this constant battle between like, should I be sober, which makes me look better and feel better. But then I, like this year I've had some of the most fun times I've ever had in my life. Like with alcohol, like in a bifur, skiing, like alcohol brings me so much fun and so many like core memories that I would never have without it. and like if we ever think back to our funny times it's always when we've been pretty fucked up and like it's always the best times ever so i'm like ideally you're the perfect role model and me and ryan talked about this like your balance of just if you're gonna go out it might be once a year and it might be or it might be two or three times a year maximum and you have a good time you don't overdo it in any way and you just go and have like the perfect level and that's what i would like to eventually get to i think the problem that you have is it will be one night and then it turns into a whole weekend yeah because i wake up that first weekend i wake yeah like i wake up the next day i'm feeling pretty bad i'm like if i just have a beer i'll be fine again and then if you're gonna have like 10 or 15 beers it's so hard to be lean when you sink in that many pints so many calories yeah and went to montenegro for the summer which was good because i was like locked in pretty much all day yeah but then once it got to like 5 or 6 p.m there's literally nothing to do like just go to the same strip of restaurants every night and then i was just like and like became friends of all the local people like the waiters and then they would just like give me beers and i'd just be like fuck's sake and then just drink loads of beers because there was nothing else to do but then go to bed at like 10 or 11 wake up fresh the next day i think i just drank way too many beers this summer probably the most beers i've ever drank in my life but with that being said therapist about that like why what my therapist just tells me like yes you should drink more pussy no he's just like he's like as long as you're not doing anything that's like destroying your life so like drink driving or like hurting yourself or like doing anything destructive when you're drunk then it's not that bad but like i know i know i'm not like fully addicted because I can stop if I need to.
1:12:50I just love drinking beers. It's just my favorite thing to do. Nothing makes me happier. So anyway, I've just been in this constant battle. I've definitely made progress in terms of my business and all of that stuff. But I would say this is also another thing that I wanted to speak to you about quickly if we've got another few minutes. I think, obviously, you've got the team. I've got a couple of guys that helped me with the creator club but i think trying to build a business do instagram and do youtube do those three things all at once pretty much on your own is very very very difficult especially it's way too competitive now like people think like oh you don't do any work louis but like i have to do the credit i have to make sure all my members are happy in the creator club and that can just be like respond to questions do my weekly call organizing the trips helping people as much as i can in there and like i actually love helping people that's my favorite thing to do is just to give people advice and try and help them the best i can and then i've got instagram which like is so hard to grow unless you're posting like short form content every single day like everyone's like you need to post two reels a day it's like what the heck like how do you film like if i'm alone how do i film myself to make short form content like set up the tripod it's exhausting then you've got youtube and like you want to like youtube you need to think of an idea it takes like a couple of days to film then to edit and then you've also on top of that you've got your brand deals where you need to like make a video of you taking some supplements or wearing a certain item of clothing or make content about whatever product it is that you're sponsored by and like all of that together is actually a lot and a lot of stress so i think next year i want to hire a team kill a team yeah so i've already got some really good people in the creator club i'm very grateful for and help me with that i'd like to hire maybe like a youtube or social media like mentor or someone who can basically do kind of the thinking for me behind youtube and instagram so like come up with like you know how like jasper now helps you with like oh mike you should film this video with like this title yeah and then he also does the titles and the thumbnails and he split test them i need someone like that for me because i was like you i used to the thing i hated the most was coming up with the thumbnail or the title i'm just like well which what do i go for why and that okay let me just let somebody else who's actually really good at this decide for me it's like i think the terminology is like data data analyst yeah like someone who can actually look at like other people's top performing videos look at all the data on youtube look at your top performing videos see what works well i've just never ever ever done that yeah and i think if you can hire someone to help you with like there's a guy in my dms i'm probably going to get next year to help me with that and i just want i want to focus on the creative club and then have just pay someone to i need to get 100k subscribers on youtube yeah i have to get that little plaque yeah even for i think one of the reasons why i enjoy doing the podcast is all i have to do is just prep sit down talk done i don't do anything once the podcast has been filmed so the team take care of editing clipping shipping distribution posting coming up with all the captions titles things like that and it feels like so good and i've started to get uh other people basically running the other social media pages for me as well the only thing that i do myself is like my main instagram and sometimes i still do quite a lot for my main channel because that's my little baby so i always kind of like to do everything myself with that although now i'm starting to let you know my team do the thumbnail and the title just to give it that extra boost but it's the best thing because you just people underestimate how much brain power it takes you know just thinking about it making those decisions and that's you know time and energy that could have been spent doing something else and also scripting yeah exactly writing and also if you get in your head like this also happens like oh my instagram hasn't grown my youtube hasn't grown then you start getting your head like oh like what what am i doing wrong and like stress yourself out and then overthink stuff and then you don't end up posting anything or you get a video that you post and it doesn't do well even though like you're like it is pretty it's a sometimes a mind fuck yeah so that's your goal for next year get that all streamlined my goal next year is to have just more organized systems in place for everything yeah right now everything is just an absolute mess yeah like i need to have a system and teams and start treating everything that i'm doing like an actual business like i feel like everything that i do is just like kind of for fun yeah i don't take anything too seriously like i enjoy i i thoroughly enjoy everything that i do but like i just know that if there was systems in place and everything was more organized and i had like a little structure everything would perform way better yeah what about you boss i think the thing that especially the past month i've really given a lot of attention to my app and we've had thousands of new subscribers sign up just this month alone i'm like okay this is actually pretty amazing when i've put my time and effort into it thankfully i've been fortunate just because of the followers which I've accumulated, I've had loads of people sign up just purely organically.
1:18:11So I've managed to build pretty good business just from organic content. I've not even tapped into ads or all these other strategies, email marketing, things like that. So now I've got proper solid team in place. Now it's a matter of really scaling it. And one of the problems I've always had in the past is I would do something that gets my interest, do it for a couple of weeks or months, then I get bored. And then I'm like, okay, well, yeah, I want to go on to the next thing. So then I keep hopping from doing all these different things where none of them particularly really excels. They just all tick over.

1:18:49So this issue of being distracted and trying to do everything, I've realized that's not the way forward. Like how about you pick one thing, the thing that you can really scale has the most potential, the thing that makes the most sense, and just really go all in on that. And that's what the goal, at least for the next six months, take it up till next summer, really push forward with getting the subs up for the app. Just double down on content creation for podcast, main channel, coaching channel. I'll be happy if I reach a couple of those targets by the middle of next year. And then hopefully just enjoy the summer and make more content, which is really just fun and rewarding for me.
1:19:32Nice. Perfect. Also, what you just said there is, that's another thing that I just realized. This year I've done two masterminds, which you told me. I remember I was here in Dubai in January for New Year and Mike said, you need to do a mastermind. Like you should definitely do it. I think you'll be so good at doing it. And I think it's just like, it'd be perfect for you. And I literally went away and within a month of leaving here, I went straight to Bali and I organized a mastermind and did my first one i had like 12 guys like who literally flew from all over the world but like i had like a waiting list of people that wanted to come and it was i think personally the best thing that i've ever done like i actually loved it so much like we had this like these two sick fillers on top of each other in uluwatu and bali we did runs we did muay thai we did ice bath saunas like went out for dinners like had a private chef like i think we sat probably in the classroom a little bit too long like going through like how to build a personal brand and stuff and then i did another one in abifa in september and i think that's what i want to do more of next year is like just like in real life events where like people come from all over the world and they get to spend like three or four days with you in person in a sick place with loads of sick events you just hosted a little event yesterday and i i i love shit like that like i think it's my favorite thing to do yeah and if you if you get other people on board so it's not gonna be all yeah uh you do it in like loads of different places so the environment and activities are always changing there's no reason why you can't do that like every two months or something yeah because and like the the people that come to those events are often people who are already like pretty successful because they have the money to pay pay for that type of event and every time they every person kind of leaves and sends me a message being like oh thank like thank you so much for that like every person learns something different yeah and they usually sometimes though have many friends or people that can relate exactly they want to be in like a a social environment yeah so that's what that's another thing that i want i really want to focus on next year is doing like sick events in real life yeah in sick places nice right then right then you've got another call soon i am bursting for the toilet and we also have a friend's birthday this afternoon so thanks for having me uncle mike really appreciate it crack on with thanks for watching we'll give you another update in a year's time nice
1:22:14Thank you.
