In short

A long personal Q&A covering where the host will live (Dubai), favorite travel spots, rebuilding content if starting from zero, peptide use for longevity, dating/marriage and having kids, making friends after moving, money “sweet spots,” doom scrolling fixes, swimwear brand priorities, investing after an acquisition, training/recovery (WHOOP), emotional eating, business collaboration standards, and dating with children.

Guest backgrounds

No guests appear in this episode. The host references past podcast guests (e.g., George Heaton, Reese Wabara) and mentions co-hosting a separate podcast with Bionic founder Vadim.

Key claims

Dubai is his long-term base; he’d likely choose Miami as an alternative base. If he lost everything, he’d restart with fitness content. Peptides are unnecessary in teens/20s but more acceptable in 30s+; he’s tried GHK-Cu, copper peptide, Dihexer, and plans BPC-157/1.5.7. He wants kids “100%,” marriage uncertain. Non-negotiable daily habit: gym. Doom scrolling: use blocking apps (Opal) or a second phone. He’s not phasing out swimwear, just reducing focus due to headaches and margins.

Notable examples

Cape Town (jaw-dropping landscapes), Japan (unique/fascinating), Ibiza (switch-off). Emotional eating in London (2017) linked to loneliness and misery; improved after traveling and better sleep. Bionic acquired by Herbalife for $150M; he’ll discuss his role with the CEO.

0:00What's up guys and welcome to another video. we are doing a Q &A long awaited Q &A I do these like once a year but this one's special and the reason behind that is because it's the last video I'm ever going to be filming in this apartment that is right you're not going to see any more content from inside of this fantastic apartment which I've been living in for the past five years so kind of emotional this one considering this is where we started the podcast in the first place. So we've had a lot of amazing guests walk through those doors and some epic conversations that we had, but we're on to new things.

0:39But I'll just leave it for now. So a lot of you put forward quite a few interesting questions on Instagram when I did the Q &A. So I'm going to go through them in no particular order. And we will start off with the first one, the one that's like commonly asked by a lot of people and asking if I will be basing myself in Dubai long-term, given the situations that have happened recently. And if not Dubai, where else would I be? So to answer the question, first of all, yes, I ain't going anywhere. Dubai is firmly my base, and it is going to take a hell of a lot for me to actually leave here permanently.

1:14So I've got faith and confidence in the place, and it is my home, realistically. Like, I've built too much in this place to walk away from it. If I was not going to be here, there's places I would live for leisure and places I would live for work. And I think if I'm thinking about best places to be strategically at this point in my life, I need to be where the action is. And I feel as though America is definitely a place to live that would propel my career. There's so many people there to network with, collaborate with, so many opportunities. I think maybe I would do Miami for a couple of years.

1:49There's a lot of pros and cons to Miami, but I feel as though if I wasn't here, I would most likely be in Miami. So yeah, I think the key is to have bases. I would like to have a couple of bases around the world and just kind of go between all of them to kind of make the most of everything. You know, a bit of variety of life and then also being able to collaborate with the people that I want to collaborate with. You know, for example, like the podcast. Next question. Of all the places you've traveled over the years, what are your top three favorite places? I'll tell you what we did one this year that was gone swiftly up to the top and that's Cape Town what an amazing place that is if you've not been there or seen the vlog definitely watch the vlog definitely go and check it out it's probably one of the places I've been that was just jaw-dropping in terms of just the landscape and nature it's so rugged and beautiful and the vibe is just crazy the other two places I feel as though Japan's just great I went back to Japan a couple of weeks ago and it is just such a unique fascinating place and there's so much of it I've not explored and then on top of that I would probably say Ibiza because you know it's it's me not necessarily for the parties but more so just because it's one of the places where I completely switch off there is no other place where I can go and completely just forget about But like anything that might be stressing me out, my worries, even business responsibilities, I just feel completely free.

3:25And that is one of the places where I just let go and enjoy life. So they're my top three. There's definitely some other places we will be going this year. New places. In fact, that's kind of the goal. But more on that later. Next question. how would you start and which niche would it be if you lost everything overnight and my network so let's assume yeah lose all the followers the channels the people that I know uh I guess I would just start doing what I'm doing right now so the thing that I am the best at and still have quite a lot of passion about is fitness so I would just get grinding and pump out as many fitness videos as possible.

4:10And obviously it would be a slow start because nobody would know who I am, but I would hope that momentum would be built and a bit of a reputation would also be built from the consistency of the uploads. And of course, the quality of knowledge that I'm sharing with everybody. So that is what I would do for those people who are a little bit unsure about what content to make. If they're thinking about making content, make content about something that you are actually good at. Okay, so maybe you can help people share your experiences. And if you are literally not good at anything, then you know, you can just go travel the world and review things.

4:49You would kind of be seen as more of an entertainer than an educator. But we have another question on that, which will delve deeper into what I'm saying. Next question. are you considering taking peptides now or in a few years and if so which ones i'm actually on every single peptide known to man and i have been for the past 20 years only kidding uh i officially lost my peptide virginity i'd probably say start this year uh and that's mainly because uh my partners bionic have now entered the peptide game and I have access to some of the best peptides like on the planet. So there's that knowing that I have access to the best quality peptides.

5:37But on top of that, it's the fact that I'm 35 years old and I'm kind of just looking for a little bit of an edge more so in the kind of longevity aspect of it and the energy aspect of it. I want to feel and look like I looked in my twenties, if you know what I mean. So the ones I have tried, GHKCU, copper peptide, done that for around six weeks. Dihexer, I've done a round of that, which is the brain one. And then I'm just about to start BPC, 1.5.7. So I will give my reviews on these. Now, my whole view of peptides, I mean, we don't want to dwell on this too long, but I think if you're in your teens and 20s, there's no real need for you to be taking peptides aggressively unless there is something wrong with you and the peptides can help with that issue.

6:35I just don't think that's necessary to achieve the things which you want to achieve in terms of your physique or the way you want to look. It can all be done by training properly, consistently, sleeping well, and eating the right foods. I think it kind of becomes more acceptable when you get into your 30s, 40s, and 50s and you just want to, you know, enjoy life and perform and keep doing the things you were doing when you were younger. So, uh, yeah, there's that. And then of course you have to be very careful with the quality and, uh, the places which they're being made because there's a lot of crappy, crappy peptides out there on the market and you don't want to be pumping yourself full of garbage.

7:14Next question. God, loads of people ask me about this one. Do you want to get married and have children. Yes. I want to have kids. 100 % want to have kids. Marriage? I don't know. We'll see about that one. I'd say in terms of like how badly I want things, like the kids is up there. The marriage kind of, it's quite far down from, you know, having the kids. I think also marriage has kind of changed from, you know, decades ago. It's very different now compared to what it once was. But I don't know. I guess we'll see. If I find the right person, then it would make sense. But if I don't find the right person, then of course it wouldn't make sense.

7:55I guess it depends upon your situation. But yeah, kids 100 million percent. I'd feel like I'm missing, I would be missing out on so much if I didn't have kids. And I think I would be a good dad, to be honest. Next question. Just moved to a new place. Advice for making new friends in a new environment. this is a tough one and it's something which I've done a few times before when I've relocated and not really known anyone so I think the very best thing that you can do is just get out there you're not gonna make friends and meet people if you stay at home all day every day and even if you're pretty active on social media I just don't think that is a substitute for interacting with people You need to be meeting people face-to-face and, of course, meeting new people.

8:47So get yourself involved with activities which involve group settings. For example, run clubs, yoga classes, gatherings of some sort. They happen everywhere. Even try and become a member of places where there's just a really cool community. For example, if I'm going to a new place, I'll be like, right, gyms. I want to go to the gym which has like one of the best social scenes. Now, of course, that's not what you should look for in a gym. I'd probably join two gyms. I'd have the gym where I go crazy and train hard. And then I have another gym where it's like the place to be where you go and you meet people.

9:25There's a few which I'm a member of here. And I literally go there just to show my face and network and catch up with a few people. So yeah, ask yourself what your hobbies are. Find out if you can kind of find these hobbies which taking place and where other people are going to be and just talk to people. Don't be afraid to approach people. I have found that this is obviously going to be much harder for people who are more introverted and just, you know, they're a little bit shy when it comes to approaching people. So one of the best things you can do is find a super extroverted friend and then just go to all these places with that extroverted friend and let them break the ice.

9:59And then you're just there kind of following their lead. Um, and that way it doesn't absolutely drain the hell out of you. But yeah, eventually you will, you'll make friends. You just got to get out and about, get active. What is the one most effective thing that I must do on a daily basis that is non-negotiable? Go to the gym. That is the absolute most important thing that I need to do. And it does become difficult for me on the days when I need to rest because it's like, okay that thing that is non-negotiable i can't really do because i'm supposed to rest and recover so in which case i'll do some other form of like light cardio or recovery just to kind of keep that good habit going and it keeps my mind at ease knowing that i've done something um any plans to visit columbia this year oh you know if i went to columbia that would probably one of the it'd be one of the best vlogs that would grace my channel i think particularly at this point in time um so is on the list.

11:04But whether it happens this year, I'm not too sure. I think I need to ask around and find out when the best time is to go. People say Christmas and New Year's is quite good. But yes, I'd love to go. South America is great. Diminishing returns of more money. Is there a sweet spot? Is 10 ,000 a month close? I'm assuming$10 ,000 per month. Do people overestimate? I think this is largely dependent upon where you live. Okay. So if for example, you were making $10 ,000 a month, that could be quite a lot. If you were living maybe somewhere in Asia, like Thailand or maybe Bali, um, or some other place, which is kind of more off the map.

11:45Whereas if you're making 10 K a month and you lived in London, Miami, New York, or even Dubai, like that's actually kind of not enough. I mean, it depends what your lifestyle is like, but it's going to be drastically different in comparison to if you were living you know in a place that was a lot less expensive where the rent was a lot less expensive so it kind of depends on who you are and what kind of a life you want to live what i would say though is i mean this is from from my kind of experience you know i do have quite a expensive taste not necessarily for buying like materialistic things or like goods, but more so experiences and like travel and the places that I live.

12:32Like I like to live good, if you know what I mean. So I think when you get to the point where you're making like a million a year, a couple of mil a year and work isn't completely crippling you, like you have a good kind of work-life balance where you have the freedom to travel. You're also working, but your work is bringing in good money. I don't think anything beyond making a couple million a year is going to drastically improve your life. For example, if you made two to three million a year, how much better is your life going to be if you are making 15 million, 20 million a year? I think it just becomes more stressful with all the additional money problems that come with that and the responsibilities.

13:18I think for me, that would probably be my sweet spot. And I wonder if I would continue to be motivated to make more, you know, beyond that point, which we're pretty much at. So, um, yeah, that's me, but for other people, it obviously would be a lot less. And then there's some people who are just so super money motivated for whatever reason that obviously that's not going to be the sweet spot. So yeah. How do you stop yourself from doom scrolling endlessly?

13:55Well, I'll be honest with you. Sometimes it gets me quite often. I mean, I'll go on to like Instagram to send a message and then it will get me for like 20 minutes. And I'm like, what the fuck am I doing? Again, endlessly scrolling. So there's two things I think you could do. First of you download a social media blocking app like opal where it will limit uh periods of the day i mean you can set the times at which you cannot go on the app itself but i found this to be frustrating if i need to send an emergency message to someone um but it certainly helped with reducing time spent on doom scrolling because it would just be such a kind of effort to to block it and then get back into Instagram.

14:38Alternatively, you have two phones. You have the one which you have on you most of the time, but you delete all the social media apps from it. And then on the other phone, you have all the social media apps on it, and then you go on the other phone to do what you need to do, but then you kind of just leave it at that. So, yeah. You're not alone. I think everybody has been completely thwarted by the masters of these tech companies who are just looking at all possible ways to get us hooked on these social media platforms. So, you know, it's very difficult to fight. You just have to kind of realize, whoa, what is going on here?

15:14I don't want to do this anymore. I'm wasting my life. How do I stop this? Next question. Are you gradually phasing out your first swimwear brand? No, but certainly not going as hard as I was a couple of years ago. And the reason behind that is, I think after speaking to a couple of guys on my podcast, you know, my boys, George Heaton, Reese Wabara, it became very apparent to me how much effort was involved with building a clothing brand. and it made me realize if I wanted to really take it to the levels which I would like it to go to it would require me to basically sacrifice everything else I'm doing and go all in on clothing and clothing is just not something which I am you know massively passionate about fashion and the clothing business and scaling a clothing business and then on top of that if we were to compare it to all the other things which I have going on all the revenue streams And the clothing gave me the most headache and gave me the worst margins.

16:23So it made me think, hang on, like all this time and effort that has been put into this, uh, it's not actually kind of that great for the returns I'm making. You know, I could just spend more time and effort doing the other things that are making me more money. So it's not being phased out. I'm just putting less of my attention on it, but any clothes which I like to wear or I find that are not on the market, I will design them. I will make them for myself and then I'll put them on the market for you guys to buy if you want to buy them. We still do pretty decent turnover. Shorts for sure. I just brought out some new gym shorts, which are obviously quite unique, you know, for a particular type of person who likes to show off their legs, i.e.

17:04me. But we do have the cargo pants that I basically live in, inspired by the represent 24 471s, but with my little twist, which will be on the market in May, which I'm super excited about. So we're still doing bits, just not like major bits. One of the things which I used to hate the most was if somebody didn't receive their package, if it was held in customs or whatever, they would always DM me like, Mike, where's my package? I'm like, I don't know. Please message the customer support, message the team. You know, they're the ones that are going to help you. I have no idea what is going on right now.

17:44So, um, yeah, I guess that's one of the problems of being the face of the brand. How do you surround yourself with people that help you level up before you're on that level? That's a good question. Um, this is, I think a few people have spoken about this. I think I've even made a video about this. It's kind of like the lonely chapter where you've kind of outgrown your older friends and you're wanting to socialize and hang out with, you know, these people who are doing better than you, but it's quite hard to hang out with them because realistically they will only be wanting to hang out with people on their level or above.

18:21So you obviously have to kind of work your ass off to be worthy of being or to be worthy of getting a seat at their table. That makes sense. Okay. So got to keep working, got to earn that seat. Then on top of that, I would say most of these high earning entrepreneurs, high operators, they're just absolutely on it and they're killing it and they've got a bit of status and everything. They are usually going to be looking for someone to help them out in some way. So if you can figure out how you could maybe be of value to them, then that will get you close to them. And then that will give you the opportunity to be around them and absorb whatever you need to absorb from them and then you know hopefully that will help kind of piggyback you to getting on their level but it is tough and even for me there's people who i would who i would like to hang out with who i would like to talk to spend time with but even i think at this point i'm not quite there yet there's still some more things which i need to do to kind of you know get to that level where i can hang out with them, which is frustrating.

19:31It's like, oh, what more do I need to do? Like, I don't want any more fame. I don't want any more social status. Like I just want to, you know, it'd be nice to hang out and spend time with people who I respect and admire, but sometimes you have to do things to get their attention and get on their radar. And then, um, you know, maybe they have an interest in meeting you and then it'll happen, but it's tough. You got to work for it. now that you've experienced almost everything in life do you ever get bored of it all well I definitely would not say that I've experienced almost everything in life there is one hell of a lot of things that I have not experienced and you know there's still many things which I would like to experience still young the list of things I want to do is still quite long, but I would say I am definitely getting tired of repeating certain experiences which I've already experienced, if that makes sense.

20:28Now, of course, there's things which I will continue to do and keep doing because I just enjoy doing it. So I'm not going to get bored of doing that. But, you know, for example, going to clubs or going to parties, you know, that doesn't quite excite me like it used to do. So, uh, yeah, I don't really do that anymore. Um, hanging around with people who I just don't really see the point of hanging around with anymore. You know, I probably am not going to do that anymore. I certainly am not doing that anymore. So yeah, there's, there's, I've experienced a lot, but there's a hell of a lot more to experience.

21:01And, um, I think one of the best things about experiencing more is you learn about yourself. You learn about the things that you like to do and what you don't like to do. You might find out you end up liking things you never even knew you would like. And at the same time, things which you thought you would like, you actually end up not liking. So yeah, that's I guess one of the perks of having experienced quite a lot. And is one of the reasons why I want to continue to experience more because I learn more about myself. What are the things you learned from starting the new coaching channel? Well, I've learned that people are still interested in the fitness content.

21:43We've got quite a lot of videos on there now that have got over 100 ,000 views, which is very positive. So I'm going to continue making videos around that topic, fitness, nutrition, health, longevity, that kind of thing. I mean, I just love to train and go to the gym, so it's kind of a blessing I can just make those types of videos. And on top of that, there's not really this stress of needing to film and edit a really high polished video. You know, if I feel like I want to film something, I just go out there and I film and then we just put it out and it's like pretty raw to be honest and people seem to enjoy it.

22:23So that takes the pressure off. But I've also learned that it's just, it's more work. It's like, it's a brand new channel where, you know, we're doing at least one video a week, sometimes two a week. And I did kind of find at the beginning that I wasn't starting to neglect my main channel. Cause it's like, okay, well, if we're taking the fitness element away from the main channel, what the hell is the main channel? Um, and I've kind of realized, okay, well, the main channel is, is the lifestyle and the vlogging and the traveling. So I want to keep like that saved for really epic travel vlogs because they continue to perform well.

22:58And I get a lot of pleasure out of doing them. So, um, That is that. How do you overcome lack of motivation when the reasons that drove you disappear? Quite a good question. And I think you would probably really need to think about, is this a temporary thing or is it like a long-term thing? If you have a day where you're not motivated to do something and it's a one-off, then I'd probably just ignore it because even I have days where I wake up and I'm like, not really motivated to do this, but I'm going to do it anyway. But if you are constantly feeling like that, that usually means it's time to change.

23:37And that's completely fine. It just means that, you know, the thing that you used to enjoy doing, you don't really enjoy doing anymore. Perfect example for me was when I was a coach. I used to love PTing people. You know, I used to look forward to it every day. You know, I was especially going from the job I had where I was working in retail, Hollister, like folding clothes and being stuck in a shop. I was like in a gym full time, like interacting with people and helping them, which was great. But then after doing that for a couple of years, I was like, this isn't really motivating me anymore.

24:07Like it's getting extremely repetitive and quite hard to scale. And the love for it just kind of died. And, you know, since walking away from PTing one-to-one, I haven't done it since. So is it a bad thing that I was no longer motivated to do that? No, it just means that, you know, uh, it was time to change and move on to the next thing. So that may be the, uh, the thing that you are experiencing this lack of motivation. You're, you're doing something which deep down you don't really want to be doing, um, that, or you're just being lazy, but I don't think you're being lazy. I think you just need to stop doing that thing and do something which you're really passionate about.

24:48because every day a lot of times now when i wake up i'm like super pumped and excited to just like start the day and do stuff so um try and figure out what would get you hyped to get out of bed and go do that what's your next move after the purchase of bionic uh i will close down all my social media accounts and I will just live happily ever after. No. What will I do? Well, that's actually a very good question. For those who don't know, I was a partner of Bionic, had shares in the company and it was recently purchased for 150 mil by Herbalife. Pretty good. So I don't know exactly what my role is right now.

25:34I need to speak with the CEO of Herbalife and have a discussion as to what my responsibilities and roles will be moving forward.

25:47Bionic is still doing its thing. It just means that Herbalife is kind of stepping in. Herbalife is a multi-billion dollar company, by the way. It's stepping in to scale Bionic to the next level. That's basically what they're doing. So everything's going to stay the same. So yeah, it's interesting now at this point, what I said my roles and responsibilities will be. maybe I will have a little bit more to do with Herbalife. Maybe not, but we'll just have to see. But it's been great. I mean, this is kind of, out of a lot of the investments that I have made, this is the first one where we've had an exit.

26:20So it's been a great ride over the past couple of years, a product which I have believed in and used since like 2021. So of course, it was the only amount of time before I got acquired by someone. So the investing game, it can be pretty addictive so i think this is something which i'll be spending a bit more my time on moving forwards but yeah your boy is still uh doing the blood tests and consuming his bionic uh capsules or capsules not capsules the grains but um the founder vadim who uh i'm doing a podcast with the hack you podcast uh we co-host it together this is all like very much within like health, fitness, longevity, and so on.

27:04Go check it out if you haven't. Me and him will probably be going on a new venture, starting something up. So stay tuned for that. Next question. Do you adjust your training volume according to your WHOOP data, for example, asleep and recovery? To be honest, I take it all with a little bit of a pinch of salt. I mean, I've had red recoveries where HRV has been low and I've still gone to the gym and gone ham. But I do see trends and patterns whereby if I do have a red recovery, you know, it's usually a sign my body's tired from something. So I just go easy that day. Maybe I go to the gym, but I just go easy.

27:48But if I have like a really great recovery score and high HRV, then it either means I can train twice or just go fucking mental in the gym and not need to be too concerned. It's usually a day whereby if I'm planning to kind of set some PBs and lift really heavy, I'll do it on those days. Okay. So I kind of adjust, you know, when I train during the weeks, I'm training five times per week. So obviously I'll try to do those sessions after I've had the best recovery, but I don't let it like completely dictate my life because that would be a little bit crazy. Have I ever worked with a performance psychologist do I want to?

28:27Well, why would I need to when I'm performing at like optimal levels? Like your boy is performing at a hundred percent efficiency. So like, why would I need to do that? Only kidding. I'm sure if I did work with a performance psychologist, I'd be performing much better. But, um, here's the thing about, uh, these psychologists and even hypnotists. I'm a little bit skeptical about that work. And, um, I feel like a lot of people are just winging it. And I don't know if I would want them to have so much insight into my life and them telling me what to do. I'm usually not very good at being told what to do.

29:08But here's one thing. I'm very open to listening to and taking advice from people who are living a life that I want to live. right? So the reason why I'm not too crazy on getting mentors is because a lot of potential mentors are living lives which I have no interest in living. So of course, they could give me some great advice on maybe one area of life, maybe business, right? Maybe relationships, whatever it might be. But usually those people have kind of, they got pretty low scores in other areas where mine are like quite high. So it's like, okay, I'll listen to your advice in this area, but you know, with everything else you're doing, like, I don't think it's that great.

29:52So, um, you know, for me, I would love to listen to and get advice from someone who is, who's kind of done it all, like really lived an amazing life in all areas, like business, relationships, adventures, travel experiences, things like that. And I would just be like, teach me it's almost like I would love to meet the version of myself that is 10, 20 or 30 years older but I don't know guys if you know anyone point me in the right direction because not many of those people out there have I had an experience with emotional eating and what would be your personal advice for it? There was a phase where this was a little bit of a problem in 2017, I believe.

30:54This is when I was living in London. Iconic white background kitchen sofa apartment. And the reason why my eating was going out of control is because I was pretty miserable in life. The only thing that was going really well for me was business career. Social media, my YouTube channel was blown up. making more money than I ever made before. Um, but the only downside was I just had like no very minimal human interaction. I didn't know anyone in London, didn't have any friends. I had a girlfriend who lived in a different country. So I was in a long distance relationship and my life was just not fun at all.

31:29So, uh, I realized like the moment that I started traveling more and enjoying life more, there just wasn't really that need for me to like eat crap. Um, Eating the crap usually comes from being very bored and dissatisfied with your life. And living in the cold country as well usually led me to eat a little bit more. So yeah, I think it's not that you can't stop eating bad food. It's usually because you may be quite dissatisfied with certain areas of your life that you are resorting to food to make you feel happy because you're not getting happiness from anywhere else. so again it means you need to change something and of course um the basics of like just not eating junk food if you cut out the junk food then you won't crave the junk food but hey every now and then like i get a little bit stressed out and i do resort to eating something that i shouldn't eat doesn't happen very often though um it's usually the sleep deprivation that makes me make terrible choices with food so that's why sleep sleep is so important for me if i have a good night's sleep it's it's going to be highly unlikely that i'll eat crap even if i'm stressed out all right guys quick pause here i've got a question for you how is your summer physique coming along we're only a couple of months away before you will be gracing the beach the pool are you in shape are you not in shape is there work to do most likely if so i have the tool for you which is going to help you out massively it's the thirst app this is something which I personally use myself when it comes to my training and my nutrition.

33:10I have all the programs in there which I use on a regular basis and for those who are just looking to lose a bit of body fat. The same thing goes for women as well. A lot of people don't realize that I used to coach for a large chunk of my life so all of my coaching experience has been put inside of this app. I want you to learn as much as possible about how to get yourself in shape. There's exclusive videos in there telling you how to do it, how to execute exercises properly, the foods which I eat and a newly added nutrition section where you can track your meals and your daily macros. It is pretty much this pocket-sized version of myself, which I'm going to carry around with you all day, every day.

33:48So if there's something which might interest you, which it definitely will do, I highly suggest you check out the link in the description, head over to the Thirst app, get it downloaded. You will not regret it. Let's crack on with the episode. Do you volunteer or do something to help others unconditionally? well i don't necessarily do any charity work um but i do feel like i hope that what i'm doing with making these videos is helping people um whether it be with fitness life business i mean the they're all completely free all the fitness videos are put out for free for anyone to watch whether it's to educate people or inspire people and the same thing with my main channel i hope it's inspiring people to go out live life and travel the world and enjoy and then even with the podcast.

34:32I mean, that's completely free and I'm sitting down having a one-to-ones with some of the most amazing people on the planet. So I feel like that's kind of my way of giving back. But there's certainly more that I can do or could be doing. So thank you for making me think about that. What are your non-negotiables when dealing with people in business? I think the most important thing is, this is what I'll tend to do. If I'm going to do any kind of collaboration with someone or go into business with someone, I will ask as many people as possible what their thoughts are on this particular person. So obviously now I have a very good network.

35:08So I'm like, what do you know about this guy? Don't hold back, tell me the truth. And then usually, if everybody comes back with generally positive things to say about that person, then that's a green flag. On top of that, see, you know, what their history of doing business has been like. Okay. So have they, who they done business with? What has their business done? You know, do they have a good track record or not? Um, are they trustworthy? Have they done anything shady? Um, and then on top of that, the final thing would just be meeting them in person and reading their energy. You know, you can meet some people in real life and you're just like, I don't know what it was, but something just seemed pretty off about that person.

35:51Like you didn't vibe with them or your gut feeling was telling you something ain't right. And the thing is, as you get older, your gut feeling tends to improve for sure. So, um, I guess a combination of all those things would kind of lead me to decide whether or not to go into business with someone. Um, and the good thing is at an early age, I made my mistakes and I'm glad I did at an early age because they certainly would be costly had I to make those mistakes at a late rate. Who would I choose as my ideal gym partner if I had to pick one and why?

36:27I'd probably say Dorian Yates. I mean, I've trained with him, what, four or five times now? Not with him, he's coached me. But let's say, for example, he was in his prime and we were training together. I mean, that would be some hardcore shit. I don't even know if I'd be able to keep up. I would try my best to keep up, but I think first of all, he's English. So like I would just naturally get on with him, whether it just be like the English attitude, British culture, humor, that kind of thing. Um, and then he's just an absolute psychopath when it comes to training and pushing himself. So, you know, I would do my thing and try and help spot him.

37:03And then he would be definitely pushing me to my limits. And then we're probably just train four times a week and get absolutely jacked. So sounds great to me. Although I probably would have a bit of body dysmorphia if I was training with him, you know, I'd look in the mirror and be like, Hey, I look good. And then he would absolutely, he would literally just cast a shadow over me when he's a lot spread. So, uh, I just have to deal with that. Would I ever date? Would I ever date a woman that has a child or do you have any advice if someone did? Um, yeah, I mean, I have like, I guess we could say more so casually, but I've dated a couple of women who've had kids and have kids and I've met their kids and it's actually kind of all right.

37:51I mean, the thing is with women who have kids, most of them at least that I've met, they tend to be, I don't know, they just don't kind of play stupid games. They know what they want. They're quite mature. They do tend to have this nurturing aspect to them, which, you know can be quite nice to be on the receiving end of and yeah they've just kind of they've done all the crazy stuff and they're just a point of you know much more stability in their life so it can be quite chill to hang around with them but obviously i've only really had that experience of it being like kind of a short-term fling where we've had fun but it's not been you know lasting for too long a period of time if i guess the question is if it becomes serious and you're thinking about doing a long term or like marrying the person i don't know there's more questions to ask and you need to ask yourself is she does she really like you or is she just looking for a guy to help support her and a kid like she just see you as a bag of money or you know and then what's the relationship between the the her and the the father, the kids and the father, like, do you have kids yourself?

39:05Like things can get a little bit complicated. So I guess it just depends on so many different scenarios, but I see no reason why it can't be done. You know, if, if I'm at the, if I'm at the right person, maybe I could do it. So, um, just because they have kids, don't let that, um, think, no, I will not date this person, especially in today's day and age. I feel like it's just way more single mothers than ever before. so it's definitely becoming more common. Would you accept very controversial figures on my podcast? Well, yes. I think I've had quite a few controversial ones on. I mean, particularly at the start, it was a lot of people in the manosphere came on my podcast to begin with.

39:49That wasn't by like choice. I didn't strategically get those people on. It was just purely because they were in Dubai at the time and they're kind of within my circle of people who would say yes to come on the podcast but you know I did make a make a point to to stray away from the direction in which it was going so I definitely wanted like more women on the podcast but in terms of controversial people yes I don't really I'm not against that at all I guess the big thing is I wouldn't have a controversial person on if the reason for getting them on would be purely for views and engagement, right?

40:27I would only get them on if I was interested in speaking to them. Okay. Like it tends to be the case with almost, yes, everybody who's come on the podcast, like there has been an interest in me wanting to speak to them and have a conversation with them. And if they're controversial, I would want to know why they are thinking the things they've done, thinking the things they think what thinking the things that they think and have done the things they've done okay so yeah i guess the thing which people need to be aware of is just because i've had something on the podcast doesn't mean i agree with everything they've done and i'm platforming them so um yeah i guess i'll continue to have controversial people on but you know maybe not too many can I find a wife in Dubai no of course you can some of the women that I've met and I've been in relations with in Dubai have been full on wifey material they've actually ticked all the boxes both in terms of like would this person be a good wife and would this person be a good mother so yes you can find them and they do exist but you just obviously don't go looking in the wrong places if you go partying all the time nightclubs the bars you know particular types of beach clubs and places like that you're just going to see like a certain type of person and of course like do a bit of research background uh research on them what they're posting what they're interested in things like that but certainly there's one thing about dubai is there's definitely an abundance of beautiful women here um there's a lot of trashy women here but there's also a load of great women here so you can definitely find a wife don't let people uh put you off of that see a lot of guys complaining here about that but they really don't help themselves it's their own fault they literally just get hypnotized by the red flags and they're like oh why is she like that it's like you freaking knew she was like that freaking like walking red flag and you fell for it again idiot so men are stupid what would my life look like now if i stayed in the uk and never moved to the uae what a fantastic question uh i'll tell you one thing and this this doesn't make me happy um i would have seen my family a lot more like i would be frequently visiting my family and spending more time in my family so that kind of kills me inside a little bit so that aspect of my life would be way more fulfilled.

43:03And I'm sure, I mean, look, I've got this drive and ambition inside of me that I would have, uh, found my way to having some sort of success. Would it have looked much different? I don't know. I don't think so. I think I probably still would have done a podcast, but it would have been a London based podcast. Um, maybe I would have opened a gym or a studio there, but I still would have been doing the social media thing. I just don't think I would have maybe stood out as much or progressed as I have done being based here strategically at the time I went. Great move. One of the first people, I'm not saying I was more of the first person to come to Dubai, but in terms of fitness influencers, I definitely think I was one of the first and it really helped me to move out of that space and get into the lifestyle and business side of things, you know just having the beach the weather made the content visually look so much more positive and uplifting I mean of course lack of nature to some extent but it's bright and sunny and it's not gloomy and then on top of that it's such a hub for people coming in and out like it really opened doors for me to network and meet people a lot of people I mean obviously a lot of people come through London, but I don't think on quite the same level as, you know, people passing through Dubai.

44:27It really is, um, a crazy hub for tourists and business people. So yeah, it would look probably a little bit different, but I don't think it would look too different. Probably wouldn't have the tan that I'm rocking now, eh? Oh, dating when broke, how would you go about it I mean your boy has been there he's been there before but I think it probably wasn't quite as bad as it would be now look we were talking like late teens early 20s I wasn't broke certainly didn't have a whole load of money but I was living in Newcastle you know things weren't really that expensive there uh women's expectations uh probably nowhere near as high as they are now um so it was different but it still can be done i think you just really need to get a good idea as to you know let's say for example if you are interested in someone try do a little bit of a check and see how expensive her tastes are i mean you could very quickly just go and have a look at her instagram and see what she's into like she's constantly, you know, eating at fancy restaurants in nice cars and going on like really exotic trips.

45:45I'd probably walk away from that one boy, at least for now. Um, I would try to find, you know, the women who are not interested in the materialistic aspects of things. Um, and you could probably just tell by them, you know, just posting a life that seems to be quite humble and less materialistic. But of course, it's always going to help you feel a little bit more money. So your answer to that is going to be you better fucking knuckle down and make some money. Okay, there's nothing more motivating than, you know, kind of getting rejected by a girl because you didn't have enough money. So I think temporarily just understand, And yes, your selection is going to be a lot, quite limited at this point in time because you have no money.

46:33It doesn't mean you can't date and find like nice girls. It just means, you know, the pool, the dating pool is going to be a lot smaller. But in the meantime, just work your ass off, make more money, and then the pool is going to be much bigger. And, you know, hopefully you'll get to the point where you won't even need to start looking for women or chasing women because they'll be chasing you. You've accomplished a lot And done a lot What excites you at this point in life? Yeah, that's a great question If I reflect upon this year so far Moments where I felt alive Or when I get really excited to do things First one is adventures, travelling Particularly travelling to new places like just whether it be on a solo trip or going with a group of friends traveling to a new place and having some fun and going on an adventure cannot be beaten you know is so not only is it exciting in anticipation of that trip happening but then when you're on the trip itself it's amazing and you feel alive so that is one thing that will i will never get bored of going to new places and experiencing new things.

47:47That's why it's so important for me to actually take a bit of time out from work every so often and just go travel, see the world and have some fun because it's so important for your own self-development, but also for life fulfillment. And then on top of that, I think this is more so related to the podcast. I will get super pumped and excited to speak to somebody who is really interesting or somebody who I really admire and respect. For example, someone who I've maybe looked up to for a long time or I've been a fan of for a long time, I rate their work, you know, and for me to actually get the opportunity to sit down and talk to them.

48:27I mean, like, not only am I excited beforehand, but in the moment, it's just like, I can't believe this is happening right now. I'm literally face to face with this person who, who I've been watching for years or listening to for years. So I think as long as the caliber of guests continue to meet my expectations or go above that, it's going to excite me for sure. But it's just always a challenge to try and lock them down. So they're the two things that really get me pumped up at this point in life. And I'm sure, yeah, maybe the having kids chapter is also going to be... life-changing. I guess I'm excited for that a little bit, but also kind of scared of it because I know maybe that it will be the end of, you know, this current chapter.

49:22So I'm on the fence about that one, but yeah. Next question. Thoughts on young adults' financial investments versus going out and seeing the world. Oh, that's a hard one. I think you guys already know which one I kind of swing more towards. You know, whenever I've had a, even when I was like at university and I had a spare bit of cash from gardening, which was my only source of income, all the money I saved from gardening, I went on a trip, I went on vacation. I wasn't even thinking about investing in anything. And I guess in the early stages of my career, particularly on social media, I invested heavily in myself.

50:14And by that, I mean getting myself to places where action is happening, buying equipment for content, hiring staff for content, just reinvesting into the brand so that I can keep leveling up. As I said, I'm not really interested in materialistic things, but in terms of other investments, yeah, I guess this is the point right now where, for example, I've invested in something. The company exits, I get a pretty tasty amount of money. Could be six figures, could be seven figures. What do you do with that? Do you just kind of make the smart decision and reinvest all of that into stock market or other startups?

51:01or do you go have a really amazing trip somewhere, a couple of trips somewhere, or do you maybe buy something that might kind of help you level up in some way, shape or form? There's loads of different options, but I guess I'm kind of waffling a little bit because the question is, when you're a young adult, I think as a young adult, I mean, I'll just give you the advice, which I did, and that would be spend that money on yourself, invest in yourself. I'm a big believer in spending quite a lot of money to begin with in improving your environment. I think investing into your environment can completely change your life, your mindset, and even your motivation to work.

51:48Every time I've kind of leveled up in terms of the places I've lived. That initial leveling up and like times three, times four, times five, the rent, which I was paying beforehand, I'm a bit like, fucking hell, like this is a lot of money. Like, can I, can I, you know, there's a little bit of doubt, a little bit of doubt, but you're like, do you know what? No, this is the new normal. I just need to make more money. And then every time I've done that, I've made more money every single time I've kept making more money. So I think the reason behind me just having that urge to make more money is just being in a better environment and wanting to continue to just improve the environment that I'm in.

52:30So that would be the first thing. And then second of all, you know, just getting yourself into the rooms, into the places where the action is happening and anything that can help to improve your business or your brand. You know, if you are looking to build your personal brand, reinvest that money into building your personal brand. Okay. If you do have a business or a startup, reinvest into your business or startup. You know, investing into other things, a lot of those other things which you may invest in, you have no control over. But reinvesting in yourself, you do have control over. You are in control of what happens.

53:02You are the driver of that vehicle. So you absolutely can make it happen, you know, assuming that you work your ass off for it. And I think that's worked out for me. A lot of money I've kind of reinvested into myself and, you know, I have made it count. But at the same time, I've, you know, paid for some over-the-top expensive trips that probably weren't worth it and made some stupid purchases, but they haven't really been that many. So yeah, young adult, invest in yourself, baby. How important has mindset been in your journey and why? Oh, more mindset is everything, really. uh i think a lot of people don't they don't live the life they want to live or do the things they want to do because there are these limiting beliefs okay first of all is probably this fear of failure okay so i don't care about failing i've failed low i failed so many times doing like loads of little side quests and you know these business ideas and i don't really care um i've also had this kind of weird thing about me where I believe everything's going to be okay.

54:13It's a very positive, optimistic view on life where even when I've got myself in some very sketchy situations where I'm like, oh, like the balance in the account might be like low for whatever reason, or things have just not worked out. And it seems like everything is going to shit. usually it kind of points you in a different direction or it's happened for a reason. And every time now I look back at things that haven't gone well and I'm like, like that was absolutely fine. In fact, that was a good thing because it made me do this instead. And then I went on this different path. So the optimistic mindset, uh, has definitely helped.

54:51And then also this self-belief, believing that I can do it. And I think, I honestly think it's true if i really really want to do something i know i'll do it but i have to really want to do it it's like if i if it's like a girl i like i really really like and i really want to get her like if i want her badly enough i'm gonna get her right might not happen now tomorrow but it's gonna happen okay so you have to you have to have you have to be optimistic hope the best perfect worst obviously you have to believe in yourself and you have to not be afraid of failure i would say you know that those things are very important and also having standards for yourselves right this is a big one a lot of people are just quite happy and content being where they're at and then if that is the case then there's no drive to go to that next level so many people probably working jobs where they're like, you know, this is what I do.

55:57It's what I've done. And I guess I'll just continue to do it and make the most of it. Or this is where I live. I kind of lived here for a while and, you know, I'm quite happy here. So I'll continue to stay here. Or they look in the mirror, look at their physique. They're like, you know, I definitely could look better, but I'm okay looking like this. That's the problem. It's not a problem, but if you're wanting to really excel and push, that is going to be a problem. Okay. I have very high standards for myself, my appearance, the way I look. Of course I have high standards for myself. I mean, like, look at me, look, look how I've looked for the past, you know 15 years okay that I don't accept getting fat I don't accept losing all my muscle it's just simply unacceptable so I do everything that will prevent that from happening the amount of money I'm making where I live like of course I have lived in this amazing apartment for the past five years but what am I going to continue to be here for another five years or do I want to do I want want to level up a little bit?

57:07Do I want to make this environment even better? Do I want to have a balcony? Do I want to have a pool on the balcony? Do I want to have two more bedrooms? Do I want to have more space? Do I want the finishing of the furniture and the apartment itself to be elite? Yes, I do. I want that. So I'm going to step it up. Yes, it's going to cost me a lot more in rent, but this is the new standard. And what am I going to do to be able to afford that rent? I'm going to work my ass off and make more money and you guys are going to see the uh the new apartment very soon and you'll know what I'm talking about like even just I had a look around the apartment in November this was months ago and ever since I looked around that apartment I can't I have not stopped thinking about it I'm like I need to be in that fucking place it pissing me off like it was almost a curse that I saw it because it was all I could think about and then one thing has led to one another and now I'm moving into that place and just being in there looking around completely changed like it's completely changed my mindset like it's weird how your environment could change you so this is this is the thing for me which is going to take things to the next level so um long answer but hopefully useful uh is life in Dubai better than life in the UK would you ever move back?

58:29Again, this is very, so many questions about Dubai. It's like I'm a representative of Dubai. For me, it's better. For other people, it's not better. I know a lot of people, successful people who've come to Dubai, they did their thing in Dubai and they did not like it and they went back to the UK. I had good friends who've done that. So it certainly isn't all it's cracked up to be. You have to maybe be a particular type of person or want a certain environment to like here more than the UK. They're both very different places. So it really is down to you, the individual, as to what you like. I mean, I guess it's great if you can have a balance of both and you kind of go backwards and forwards.

59:16I mean, the UK on a sunny day is very hard to beat. And it's like the vibe, the history, the culture, it is great. So, you know, there's pros and cons. Just because I like it doesn't mean you'll like it. Ooh, what do you think the biggest problem in the modern dating scene is? Oh boy. Probably social media.

59:46um i think for men i mean i don't think men were were supposed to see so many hot chicks like every single day i don't think that's good for the mind especially now like instagram has literally become like soft core porn um i kind of obviously it depends on your algorithm but i'm not engaging any of that type of content but I think maybe because I like gym related content I'm getting videos of girls doing a like Romanian deadlift right in front of the camera spreading their glutes and I'm like come on I don't want to see this today like why are you showing me this and I think it's particularly more like if I'm supposed to be in a loyal relationship you know I only want to have eyes for my partner and I go on social media and there's just hot chicks everywhere I don't think that's healthy.

1:00:36And then on top of that, I think if you are the type of person who does have a bit of social status following and clout, you're just going to get loads of offers and choices. And I think that's definitely something which I've struggled with. And it definitely is a problem when you have more choice, when you have more options, it just doesn't make you want to settle down. Like why, why settle down with one person when you have this unlimited, uh, access to beautiful women. That's a problem. Um, and then on the opposite side of things for the guys who, you know, maybe don't have much of a following on social media or whatever, maybe it's a little bit more difficult for them.

1:01:15And then for the women, I think women are just looking at social media and looking at all, like a lot of other women, you know, posting their highlight reel, living this amazing life. And now women have these like crazy high expectations of what, that, you know, they should have for themselves in life and in a relationship, you know, to the point where they just like, oh, I don't even need to, I don't need to work for this at all. Like I just, I'm a woman and I'm attractive. So I just automatically deserve this. So I think that's a big problem as well. And then because of that social media, the sheer amount of options and the fact that people are very easily replaceable.

1:02:00Yeah. It's not good. Not good at all. Not to say that you can't still have great relationships. I think that social media is just one of the problems. Honestly, I think if I really wanted to give a relationship a great shot, I'd have to log the fuck out and not spend much time on there. Because it's not good. Next question. Do you admire women who have careers? If not, so why? I would say so. Yes. I think I admire women that have a passion for something and have a hobby for something. So they have an interest of doing things. I don't, I don't care if it's like a, a career where they're making loads of money or career where they're not making money or they don't really have a job, but they're just, you know, they're doing something that attracts me personally.

1:02:55I don't like laziness. I think laziness is very unattractive. Um, yeah, I don't like women that kind of just lie around all day and do nothing and just spend their entire life on their phone, taking selfies and doom scrolling. No. And on top of that, I think what's super, super important in terms of me admiring a woman is if they're attractive, right? If they are attractive and they have a beautiful body, but they don't post it, right? They're not getting naked, right? They're kind of keeping everything covered up. Of course, there will be signs, a silhouette where it's like, okay, she's got a good body, but she's been very conservative about it and she's covering it up.

1:03:44that to me is very attractive because it's so tempting for a woman to dress down a little bit, you know, maybe even to do a workout video with their ass literally in your face, just to get more likes, more engagement and build a following quicker. But they've chosen not to do that. And they're like, no, I'm not going to do that. I have a little bit more respect for myself. I'm going to cover up. I'm going to do this instead. I find that super attractive and I have a lot of respect for the women that do that. The women that don't take the easy path, the women that take the harder path and are like, no, I have my values, I'm going to stick with them and that's just the way it's going to be.

1:04:27We need more women like that, right? That's my thoughts.

1:04:35What's my favorite film? I don't know if I have an all-time favorite, but I would say there's a couple of films which, like I wouldn't say they're the best films ever, but they have been the films which I have ended up re-watching numerous times and I don't know why. One of them is Oblivion. It's funny because two of them are Tom Cruise films. Oblivion, Edge of Tomorrow. These are sci-fi films. I like sci-fi in case you couldn't tell. And then June 2. June 1 was great, but June 2, I think that was probably the only time I've ever watched a film twice in cinema. I went there by myself first time to watch it, and then I went back again to watch it, because I was like, what the hell was that?

1:05:20The experience of being in the cinema, watching it, listening to the audio of Hans Zimmer doing the soundtrack, epic stuff. So I guess they're kind of like my top three. Your boy loves the sci-fi. What's one lesson from your father that stuck with you since being a little Bebe Uncle Mike It wasn't a specific Sit down, here's a lesson, listen to me It was more so an observation

1:05:53Me observing His behaviour When things didn't go well for him So he's had a bit of a rough life I witnessed him he obviously he lost a wife so his life partner to cancer he had his brother commit suicide and he's also lost his parents so I've seen that man like lose a lot and when I was a kid I mean we were the whole family was going through a tough time but I never once saw him kind of lose is cool or like cry in front of me always kept a very like strong strong face and was always very positive and happy about everything never complained net like that guy does never he never complains and I think kind of watching him go through those very tough periods of life but still stay strong for me and my brother um has definitely helped me in my life when I've gone through tough times difficult situations you know just makes me think you know like how how would he respond how would he deal with it and I'm sure he had his moments you know without me and my brother watching where he probably did cry and let it all out but he he made a particular point not to do it in front of me or my brother.

1:07:21And I'm glad he did that. So I kind of take that from him where I just, I don't complain or I don't like sit there and feel sorry for myself and, you know, expect someone to come and, you know, nurture me and, you know, make me feel better. I just get on with my life and, you know, I grieve in my own way, but I get on with life and I don't look for sympathy. Um, and I think that's had a big impact on me and, and you know, how I've dealt with things. Cause certainly, you know, not a lot of things have not gone my way and, uh, I've gone through my fair share of things. Uh, if, if I was 20 again, what would I do differently?

1:08:04I think I would have just traveled way more and got out of the UK. I think a really interesting little challenge I probably would have set for myself would be to live in a different country every year until I'm 30. Now, I don't know how practical that would have been and if it could have happened, but I think living in different countries is one of the best things you can do. Like if I had from 20 to 30 lived in a different country every year, it would have felt like I would have had 10 different lives and I would have done so much more in that period of time. Assuming I didn't get carried away.

1:08:37But that's definitely what I would have done. I stayed in the UK until I was 29. I just didn't need to do that. Of course, there were certain things I kind of needed to do in order to get me to the point where I could be a person of authority in the fitness space. And that is, I had to put the hours in the gym coaching people, perfecting my craft. And I don't think I could have done that. Maybe I could have done that living in different countries and coaching people, but I guess it would be hard to build a client base within a year and then go to somewhere else and do the same thing again but it could have been possible but yeah i think when you're 20 and you don't really have any responsibilities just go out there see the world and put yourself in new and challenging environments and situations and just you know you'll figure out a way to make it work and the experiences you have will just be unmatched when you go to a nice place does the work mindset intrude i.e i should take pics and videos whilst here great question i've felt i've actually dealt with this a couple of times where you know most of the places i go to i'm like okay well i'm going to document this where i'm like i mean i'm going to bring the crew with me i'm going to make an epic vlog or i vlog it myself there's a few times where i've gone there and i'm like look i just want to break from social media i don't want to film anything or have to worry about making videos because the problem is like when you go somewhere to make a video you cannot stop thinking about the video you're like uh i need to go here i need to review this i need to get this shot it's more so just getting the shots of everything you have to constantly be filming and then you're just not really ever present particularly if you're going with a chick whatever how can you be present with that girl if you're just constantly obsessed with the camera and making the video so there's been a few times where i have done that and it's just been like a solo trip i don't film anything and it obviously it's been a good trip but then sometimes after that trip i'm like damn why did i not film that like it was like i did a load of cool stuff and it would have been an amazing video but i chose not to film it so it's something which i i have i've toyed with in the past i still toy with now for example towards the end of my trip where i was traveling everywhere i vlogged uh like two days in japan with my osmo camera because i was traveling by myself and then i did a couple of days in south korea and the reason i went there was just to kind of suss it out as to whether or not I should come back and bring the team but I decided I'm not going to vlog it with my Osmo camera and then I ended up doing like loads of cool stuff and eating some crazy food and then after that trip I was like why the hell did I not film that yes it would have required a little bit of extra work for me to kind of document everything but I'm kind of annoyed that I don't really like I have pictures and short videos but it is amazing when you do vlog to kind of have that video there forever as a core memory that you can watch back at any time and be like, oh yeah, that was cool, that trip.

1:11:23Sometimes I'll re-watch some old videos because it was just such an amazing time and I'm so glad I have that footage. So it's tricky because when you make a video, you can never really fully be present. So now I'm kind of like, whenever I'm feeling like, oh, I don't really want to video this, I just want to enjoy it, I'm like, just fucking video it. like you're always going to be glad that you videoed it afterwards unless you go on a trip and you're like no I really just need to switch off like if you're not going to do anything interesting or exciting there's no point in vlogging that because people's just gonna be a boring video but if you are going somewhere cool and unique it's definitely better to kind of film it uh you seem to have a perfect work-life balance how did you manage to find it I think really at this stage, it comes down to saying no to things which I know are going to take away my freedom or cause me too much stress.

1:12:19As you can imagine, as you become more successful, you get loads more opportunities coming your way. And it's very tempting to see that kind of shiny metal plate and be like, Oh, I want that. And then you end up saying, yeah, which I've done before. I've said yes to too many things. And then you just like, fuck, like I'm just doing way too much work now. and I'm not doing the things which I enjoy doing. Maybe I can't go to the gym when I want to go to the gym. Maybe I can't take this trip, which I want to take. So I really just kind of assess it now. And I ask myself, am I going to enjoy doing it?

1:12:49Is it going to be fun? And then how much of my time is it going to take? Is it going to restrict me from doing either things which I enjoy doing or things which are working well for me? So that's something which you need to ask yourself. And of course, I've kind of managed to monetize the things I enjoy doing. You know, I love going to the gym and I love traveling. So a lot of what I do now is relating to the gym. I have a fitness app, I've got some gym clothing, YouTube channel, dedicated to the gym. A lot of things which I've invested in or have been paid by companies to advertise is relating to the gym.

1:13:28So it's like a natural plug. And then the traveling is like, yes, going somewhere and filming a video is work, but I love doing travel vlogs more than anything. So, you know, it doesn't really feel like work. It's life. So that's kind of how I deal with it. What is your biggest goal right now? Not business wise, but with myself. That's a good question. I think probably right now it's just making the most of this point in time, like being fully present and just enjoying it. Like I know for a fact, I'm going to look back at this period right now and be like, wow, like that was, that was such a good period of time as in like the freedom I have, you know, the money I have, my youth, the way I look like it's, it's really, really quite good when you think about it, when I think about it and it's not going to last forever.

1:14:32So are you going to make the most of this point in time? The hardest part is deciding to go and enjoy life as much as possible versus also being in this position where business opportunities are all over the place. So there's this opportunity to life max, but also business max and make money max. And it's like, ah, like which I want to do both. and if you do too much of one thing then like you know the other will suffer if you go too much into the business and just be obsessed with making money then life will pass you by and you didn't really experience life like you could have done on the other side if you just went enjoyed life hedonistic lifestyle traveling all the time probably be really fun but then like you wouldn't have any money after that and your business would suffer so the way i kind of see it is just see it in these little mini chapters or whereby you know each month it's like okay head down we're going to work for a little bit achieve this goal then we go and just enjoy a little bit take a bit of time off and then we come back we work on something we take time off we enjoy I think that's kind of the only way you can get the balance and I feel like it's it's kind of worked alright, so yeah that biggest goal is just making the most of this very amazing moment in time that is right now so I think we will leave it there folks there's obviously loads more questions but they were some of my favourites so yeah, hope you've enjoyed it and I mean thank you all for supporting the podcast uh as i said last one in this apartment moving on to bigger and better things but uh it's been emotional you know you should the person that i was when i started this podcast is a very different person to who i am now getting nervous the night before doing episodes with people because i was like oh like i don't know how to do this am i good enough i feel like an imposter and now you know doesn't really phase me that much when i have some pretty big guests on.

1:16:49So I love that. I love the fact it's helped me to kind of articulate better, listen to people better and, um, hold the conversation. So that's that. Thank you very much for watching. And we will be doing another Q and a most likely another point in time next year, maybe towards the end of this year, if you liked it, let's see how many views this one gets. See you in the next video.

1:17:19Thank you.
