2:21James Harrison:Hell, they ain't nothing friendly Look man, you got You got them looking at Trade talks for Minka again Dolphins in trade talks for Minka again Look at that That man just got there Dolphins had trade talks Five time Pro Bowler Minka was released Earlier the week included He coming back or what are we doing? We can't afford him It's It's money. You know, I mean, Minka, he knows what we got for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but I don't know. I don't know if he's going to come back to Pittsburgh. It would be nice. Minka's a baller. Here's the thing. I think he got, like, maybe a year left or two, maybe.
3:09James Harrison:A year or two left playing? I don't. No, no, no. I'm talking about for this contract. They're trying to trade him now. Like, dude, I think his pay is like$17 million or something, dude. Like, y 'all can shop that around all y 'all want to, bro. I don't think nobody's jumping on that again. But, Depot, this is what I'm trying to figure out, though. End of the day, the money, the figure, what do we— What's the highest paid safety making? Probably around that,$20 million,$18 million,$20 million? I don't know. I would have to look and see. But I'm saying like, when you get to the elite level, like Minka, he's amazing.
3:51James Harrison:He's a baller, five-time Pro Bowler. It's not his fault. I understand, but you just said yourself. I know, but that's why I'm looking at it too. We can't afford it. We can't. And that's why I'm looking at Minka and it gets to the point where, do you have enough bread? And now, when you get into this free agency or they're thinking about trading you? He ain't free. I think they're going to end up either, if they could trade him, they'll trade him. But if they can't, I think they end up releasing him. and if you release him then he's free and he's free now we got to change yeah it's just that minka gotta look at the um and figure it out like is it when it gets to that point debo who's offering you the most money when you sitting there and your agent look here who's giving me who's offering what and what's the contracts looking like and then that's when you make that decision like do i want to go win here i think this team is ready to win a little bit less or I'm going to go over here, get me the bag and we're going to get our ass beat.
4:47James Harrison:And that's for sure. But like, that's where you got to make that decision yourself because it's a little, it's the contract. They're going to end it up. Arizona offered me this. Patriots offered me this. Steelers offered me this. Like this, okay. I can go there, get that. Or then, you know what I'm saying? Just making yourself, what's going to make you happy? So it's like, you want to go get a little bit more bag or go win for a little bit less and then like be able to stay there, be consistent. So that's why, I mean, shit. That's why I went to Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh, when I looked at mine, options was open.
5:17James Harrison:I was going either New Orleans offered me more. I mean, anywhere but Cleveland. New Orleans offered me more, and the Dolphins did. I don't know if I could have turned down more than me. Well, you ain't never won. Shut up, Debo. You're so disrespectful, bro. You ain't never won. I did win. I mean, you know what I'm saying? You ain't never won. Danny Warfel. I'm just saying, man. I'm just saying, like, you ain't never won in the NFL. Steve-O, stop saying that to me. Have you ever won a playoff game? No. Wow, that's crazy. That is crazy, actually. That is actually crazy. But, you know, I think that's why they shopping around Max Carlsby right now.
5:54James Harrison:They, you know, they trying to see what they could get for him. He want to go to a contender, a winner. 100%. See? You see that right there? Mad, mad, mad man Max. He deserves to be with him. Dude, they want two firsts and a premium player. Yeah. He's actually won three first rounders. And they're going to have to pay$40 a year. Yeah, but here's the kicker. He on a three-year deal. So basically when you get him, you might as well be counting on two because this is going to be a ring up after the second. So how many teams are at that point where they can say, I can afford this contract because we are that close that if he comes, we're going to win the Super Bowl by adding him.
6:39James Harrison:And then of those teams, who can afford it? Yep. It's just top. It's top teams. It's top teams. It's somebody who needs. And this one I'm looking at for Max, too. Mad Max, he wants to win. When the Raiders sat him down during the season, they were tanking and I saw it and it blew me. It just made me mad because at the end of the day, you know, Debo, when you try and you really want to win and you really want to go. You might not know because you play for the winning teams. When I'm with the Browns, and I'm like, bitch, I'm out here going as hard as I can. And, like, are we trying to win the games?
7:16James Harrison:And I'm looking at Mad Max. And if they sit you down and you're healthy and you know that they don't want you to play because it's like, are we trying to lose? I can't be involved in this situation. So if I'm him, I respect the fact that Mad Max is out there balling every single week, even though he feels like his team ain't trying to win. Or the coaches, why would you sit your best player down? Like, if I'm coming to the game, all right, bet, I'm ready to go. Nah, Joe, you're going to sit down. That means y 'all guys are trying to lose. You guys are trying to get a better draft pick. I can't be here.
7:46James Harrison:So if I'm Mad Max, I'm trying to get out of there. I'm trying to get to a team that's trying to win games because he's only one man. And when he's like, oh, no, what the Raiders defense do? How the hell are you going? You can't put that on Mad Max. You can't put everything on him. So what's up? So when you're in a situation like that and you feel like you've been on a team that's losing and you just feel like you have no chance to win. No, don't say that. I don't feel like I have no chance to win. I'm just saying, like, you know, you know that you haven't won. Like, how does that make you feel?
8:20James Harrison:I'm going to tell you this. It pisses me off. Okay? Okay. And the one thing is you start to really work on yourself. You know, like I'm going to do my part. I'm going to make sure it's not my fault. When you watch the tape, coach is going to see Joe's on it. Every play, man to man. Boom. Check, check, check. Tackle, PBU. You're on your alignment, your assignment, and your technique. So you just got to basically make sure you're not the problem. Put down the notepad, Debo. Put down the notepad. Is that effective for you, Joe? I'm taking notes for your therapy session. Is that effective for you, Joe?
8:56James Harrison:I mean, I've just been feeling a lot of these players, Wyatt Teller, Mad Max, being disrespected. These dudes love the game. They're trying their hardest. And the teams are just not, they're not rocking with them. So that's what throws me off. How does it make you feel inside? Debo, stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Put your fucking paper down God Hey man, listen man They talking deals everywhere man Seattle They selling the team Well the trust of What's his name Paul Paul G. Allen Yeah, they're selling the estate The estate of Paul G. Allen Whoa, and they're giving it all away Bruh that that food I can't say it can you say that word?
9:59James Harrison:where? philanthropy that's it I can't say it that's crazy now hold up not just that team the trailblazers too bro selling it and giving it all away I ain't gonna lie to you bro when I first heard that I was like, ooh, that's crazy. I can't do it. I can't do it. Not the whole thing. Not the whole thing. Not the whole thing. I got it. But then I started looking at it, though. Started looking at it, Joe. Paul Allen, I don't think he got no cheering. No wife. He got a sister. He passed in 2018. So he ain't got no line. Look back at it. He ain't got no line. And what he doing? He using that money to help you.
10:53James Harrison:I was just thinking he had a line. If you ain't got no line, give it to the good. Give it to the good. Please, we need better people in this world. That's amazing. If he got a line and he didn't get him nothing, oh, I'm not rocking with my brother. I ain't going to lie. That's why I started looking. That's why I started looking. I said, oh, somebody done fucked up bad. Somebody done pissed that off. Somebody done messed up bad, bro. And I ain't talking about just a little drug problem. They just did something bad. For sure. There's needles. There's needles involved. They bought the team in 97 for$194 million.
11:29James Harrison:That boy about to get billed. Well, he ain't about to get bills. The state about to get bills to be able to help all these other positions out here. Now, with that being said, the cornerback, Willen, he's up. What they going to do? They going to get him right. How they going to get him right? He's up. What you mean? What you mean? He up. So now they got to give him a contract. You think he ain't going to go out there and get an exacerbator? This is his first. You know what? He's going to go. And as he should. He got the Super Bowl. They won the bowl. My man Spoon is going to get the bag on the other side.
12:09James Harrison:Spoon. And now he, that's what I think. Go get your bag. You got your ring. Go get your bag. And still go play. And still try to go get another one. But that's where the situation is. I know the Seahawks, they might offer him a little something. but he's going to be able to go get his bag. And that's the point where I say it, like you say, Devo, go get your bag. If you won the Super Bowl, you're doing your thing, go get it. Because this is his first one. Like this is, you know, you do, you play. Once you get in there, he did what he had to do, won the Super Bowl. Now was his time to get paid. Segregation in the day, integration at night.
12:46Joe Haden:When segregation was the law, one mysterious black club owner had his own rules. We didn't worry about what went on outside. It was like stepping in another world. Inside Charlie's place, black and white people danced together. But not everyone was happy about it. You saw the KKK? Yeah, they were dressed up in their uniform.

What if you got one when you was free? You already know. How was yours? When you won yours, you wasn't free. Shut up.
16:53James Harrison:Why you do that, man? When you won yours, you weren't free. I couldn't see you. When you won yours, you weren't free. You know I ain't win one. Oh, my bad, Joe. I can pluck you sometimes, bro. You did be saying disrespectful things. Yo, bro, what? I'm just talking, man. I'm just talking about you. You don't want to know what's disrespectful? What? The Chicago Bears moving to Indiana. That is weird. Look at that. That's what the stadium is going to look like right there, Joe. Stadium is going to look like that right there, Joe. That looks fire, though. That looks fire. It looks AI, and it looks fire.
17:34James Harrison:Right on the water. That looks amazing. Boy, that's the Hammond Bears right there. That looks amazing, but I'm going to tell you this right now. I know some real live Chicago Bears fans that will be pissed. I think their fans are - What you mean? Will be pissed. They already pissed. Oh, no, no. Is this official? Are they really - It's not like the mayor or whatever it is. Are they really moving it? They trying to do something. Debo, they can't - They trying to get everything right. Like, uh-uh. Don't do that. Don't do that. Please, Lord. Don't do that. Don't do that. I know the Bears fans will lose their minds.
18:16James Harrison:Listen, so do the name change, though? Are they still the Chicago Bears? Even though they in Hammond. Hammond Bear? Hammond Bear. Nope. That don't even have no ring. No, and you can't use the C then. Listen, they about to change everything. Because now you're getting new uniforms. Now everybody that's a Bears fan got to come back and get some other stuff. They got everything coming through on that, man. Don't do that. We're grabbing all the money. And you want to be the first. You want to be the first. I mean, that's always, man. It's for the dough. It's definitely for the dough. So I ain't going to lie.
19:03James Harrison:Look at that. Look at that. That stadium, Debo, looks unbelievable, though.
19:10James Harrison:the Hammond Bears.
19:15James Harrison:The Hammond Bears. Oh, D-Bow, I'm cool on the Hammond Bears, but the stadium is fire. Why they can't put, don't Chicago got water? They can put that right in downtown. Man, what they go do, it's already on the water. It ain't on the water like that. Not like that. That bitch looks like it's an island. That looks like an island stadium. You got to take a boat to that joint. Man, that's fake. It ain't going to look like that. I hope it don't look like that. That's what I'm saying. You got to take a boat to the stadium. It's crazy. I can't hate it if it look like that. I ain't going to lie. That's fire.
19:48James Harrison:I'll go.
19:54James Harrison:Listen, man. What it come down to, man, is they, you know, they couldn't find taxpayers in Chicago to pay for it. They going to Indiana. in Indiana, like, you know, we might have some pockets for you to go ahead and get that built right here. We can help you out. Chicago made like they ain't want to help out. That's crazy, though. Hey, how you think the Browns went to Baltimore? Y 'all don't want to get a man in the stadium. All he wanted was a stadium. Get a man in the stadium, bro. No, I don't know. I like the... I like the stadium. I love the stadium. I like... If that's what it's going to look like, the rendering is on fire.
20:41James Harrison:The rendering looks... I mean, AI. It's AI. It's AI. Because I know the... Did you see the Commanders? The Commanders joint in the middle of D.C. that they got the projection to make looks unbelievable. No, I didn't speak out. Oh, you got to keep that one. I'm telling you, D.C. got one coming. And you know the Browns, obviously, we opened up a new stadium coming up in 2020. Yeah. Haslams, you know what I'm saying, doing a big one. Y 'all doing what? New stadium. New stadium. Why y 'all taking the stadium up out of there? That's so against the, you know, whatever. You know what I'm saying? It is what it is.
21:19James Harrison:Y 'all just built that up a stadium, bro. No, no, no. We didn't just build that. We just upgraded it. But them boys just went in. Because you know what they're making? My man, the Haslams are not. They're smart people. They're building a whole town, Deebo. They so smart, they can't win. They're smart because he's smart money man. He's going to make money. Money's going to be good. Money's going to be coming in. Money's going to be good. So you're saying the football part you're saying too? I'm with you. I don't know. They've been making a lot of missteps. Okay? You see they putting the roof on that thing too.
21:49James Harrison:Yes, so they can get Super Bowl. You throw the dome on it, you can get Super Bowl. Uh-huh. I'm going to tell you right now, man. It was so cold over there in Minnesota, man. When we went over there, man, you step outside. Oh, Lord. Man, if they ain't have a dome over there, boy, them boys back in the day, dude, they was playing on that turf, concrete, bro. Yes. Raggedy. AstroTurf, rip your whole skin off. Do you know where the AstroTurf came from? The baseball team, the Astros. They were the first team to do it in like 1970. Yep. They started AstroTurf. So now you want to be a history player? Because I went and looked back at it because I'm trying to figure out why everybody started doing AstroTurf.

22:36James Harrison:And then that's when, you know, Deion. Bro, did you remember when they were wearing Michael Jordan shoes on the field? Listen, listen, listen. Basketball shoes? Listen to me. You can play with Jordan. I played. Dude, hell no. I couldn't afford it. But you can play with some Nikes on. You know what, man? That Rich Man Problem stuff, man. I wish I could get that, though. You played with just some Jordans on.
23:09James Harrison:You messed your Jordans up. You messed your Jordans up. I played in some Pumas. Okay. Okay. Okay, you saying both? And they... Like, I played... No, they might have been Reebok now when I think about it. Still good. But anyway... You playing in some Reebok classes? It was flat bottom. It was flat bottom. No. No, because you... I don't want to buy no classes. I should have got some Nikes and went out there playing some of them old dope games. I'm telling you, man. You know what I'm saying? Couldn't have been out there playing them Super Freaks and then Randy Mosses and then Bo Jacksons. Dude, you ain't never hit that old turf, Joe.
23:44James Harrison:Evo. No. Joe. I think I hit the turf. Joe, look. I don't know if you can see that. That's old turf from college. That's what I'm talking about. Hold on, dude. That's old turf from college, Joe. I got a little turf. nope I'm just a little ashy I don't got no turf on me right now
24:06James Harrison:yeah see you went to Florida y 'all played on grass we had an astro turf practice field though y 'all ain't have that y 'all wasn't falling on it and it wasn't astro turf it had the beads in it it was turf astro turf is nothing but flat carpet it's flat carpet laid on top of concrete I know what you're talking about. I didn't play on it. And a thin piece of rubber like that, they think go take away the impact. They crazy, bro. I almost broke my back on that damn thing, bro. Like, come on, man. Dudes was out there in the games wearing sneakers. That's when I'm like, this is crazy. You're wearing sneakers on a football field.
24:52How?
24:53James Harrison:Dude, when I played at Three Rivers in college, I was playing with Kent State, right? And we're like, yo, we go get to play at Three Rivers. We was playing Pitt. I'm like, yeah, you know, we get up in there, man. Listen, Joe, I ain't going to lie to you, dude. That was the most depressing thing that I had seen in a minute, bro. I get into the locker room. You're sipping coffee with one maybe, grabbing dinner with another and praying your karmic Ken or Barbie appears before your shelf life runs out. Trust me, I've been through this ancient and unshakable tradition. I jumped in hoping to find love the right way and instead I found chaos, cringe and comedy. And now I'm looking for healing. Boys and Girls dives into every twist and turn of the arranged marriage carousel.
33:59Joe Haden:The meet awkward, the near misses, the heartbreak, and let's not forget all the jokes.
