Covering international news. The United States has completed its military withdrawal from Afghanistan. And reporting on some pretty famous people. Your Royal Highness Meghan Markle, congratulations to you both. Thank you. It was thrilling to be in the front row to watch history unfold. But all the time I was delivering the headlines, I wanted to go further. I wanted to talk about the ideas behind it to spend more time with the people shaping our world.
0:43Elon Musk, how are you? Thank you for having me. I'm fine. How are you? And that's what I'm doing on my new podcast from Bloomberg Weekend, The Michelle Hussain Show. Salman Rushdie, welcome. Thank you. I speak to people like Canada's Prime Minister, Mark Carney. Have you learned anything from President Trump? I've learned lots of things from President Trump. I've learned the value of flooding the zone. Tech journalist, Kara Swisher. The tech industry has been running wild. You know, they've gotten what they wanted and they've seen a huge run-up in their stock prices because they're basically running the stock market.
1:15The conversations can get a little heated at times, as it was with Nigel Farage. Go to shoot them down. No questions. Whatever that does, however much that inflames tensions. This is love you're trying ever so hard. Russia needs to be taught a lesson. This is love you're trying ever so hard. But it's also a place with heart and soul. When a writer enters the family, the family is screwed. And that was you. And that was me. It's a hell of a thing to do, Lindsay. I don't think anyone could cover war without loving the job. It's something that I do from my heart and my soul. Every weekend, you'll hear one essential conversation.
1:53Personal, conversational, podcast-y vibe. You might even enjoy it. So please join me, listen and subscribe to The Michelle Hussain Show from Bloomberg Weekend, wherever you get your podcasts. New episodes every Friday morning. You certainly ask interesting questions.
2:18Thank you.
