In short

A “crash course” on the Gene Keys system, then a deep dive into Gene Key 25: Shadow of Constriction → Gift of Acceptance → City of Universal Love. The host frames Gene Key 25 as the “hub” for contemplating other Gene Keys, tied to the heart and the “myth of the sacred wound,” connected to shame (their core line 3) and the sacred wound of separation.

Guest backgrounds

No guests are interviewed. The host mentions Richard Rudd (Gene Keys founder) and their friend Andrew (who has Gene Key 25 in his profile), plus their mother (who introduced the host to profiles) and a Gene Keys coach.

Key claims

Gene Keys uses birth data to map unconscious patterns; contemplation follows allowing → accepting → embracing; the heart transmutes fear/emotions into love; constriction shows up physically (heart/solar plexus) and emotionally (anger, sadness, grief, shame, and trapped love); universal love is “God”/creative intelligence; money can be a constriction channel via lack/fear.

Notable examples

accepting compliments; fear of loving fully; money/lack beliefs; sacred wound of separation as birth trauma; programming partner Gene Key 46 (seriousness → delight → ecstasy).

05Welcome to the MEP podcast, where I'll be exploring the intersection of sport and spirituality through a variety of practices that ultimately invite us to learn, grow, and connect. I believe that through movement and mindfulness, we can create an awareness within that will allow us to integrate as individuals and connect more deeply to our mind, body, and spirit, together navigating a way to the way. Welcome back. This is going to be the first episode where I kind of dive more deeply into the Gene Keys. I'm going to start off by sharing a little bit about my journey with the Gene Keys. And then I'm going to dive into Gene Key 25, which is an incredible one that I keep coming back to time and time again.

50And it goes from the shadow of constriction to the gift of acceptance to the city of universal love. And they all have nice little taglines. And this is the myth of the sacred wound. And it's part of the codon ring of humanity. And it's connected to the heart. So we're going to get into that one in a minute. But first I want to kind of just talk about the Gene Keys in general. There are a lot of videos on the Gene Keys YouTube. And also if you go to the Gene Keys website, there's videos and information. and that's where you would want to begin your Gene Keys journey. Before doing anything else, go and get your profile, which is free.

39You need to know your birth date, location, and time of day to get the most accurate profile. And so you put that in and you get a pretty interactive profile, which you can also print out. and so the i'm not going to really dive into a lot of the informational side of the jinkies but you know based on what i just shared you can probably understand that it is pulled from the location of certain astrological elements at the time of your birth um it's kind of based on this idea of the universe is a sort of holograph or holographic everything is layered um there's repeating patterns and sort of spirals and things like that that are constantly ongoing all the time on a multi-dimensional expression of the universe of frequency of energy of love of god whatever you want to call it so i i do recognize like this type of thing can be hard to logically trust.

55It's almost impossible to understand. And so it does require either, I mean, it requires a leap of faith to some degree. And personally, I've never been really into astrology. I've never been into human design, which was sort of a predecessor or parallel sort of program to the Gene Keys in some ways. I never dove into any of that stuff. So I really came to this almost blindsided by it in a way, to be honest. It was actually introduced to me by my mom, and she gave me and my family our profiles for Christmas almost two years ago. And I had such a visceral reaction to seeing this profile, even though I had absolutely no idea what it meant, what I was looking at, what any of the numbers meant, the spheres meant.

54I knew nothing about the gene keys, but it really hit me very hard. And so I kind of was like, well, I have to pay attention to this. And pretty quickly, I dove in very deep, watched and listened to a lot of content around it to help me understand it and also diving into my Gene Keys. And I did have a session with a coach who uses the Gene Keys as a tool, and that was helpful as well. I learned more about Richard Rudd, who's the founder of Gene Keys, and listened to some of his interviews on podcasts to kind of understand his journey. And, you know, you can kind of, you can spend a lot of time diving into it.

42And you can spend a lot of time looking into the Gene Keys without looking into yourself as well. Um, and so really, you know, it's been interesting the last almost two years now because I've gone in deep to it and, um, you know, I've definitely become somebody who I use it in the men's group. I've now using it in the triathlon program group. I use it with my one-on-one coaching clients and, um, you know, some people really click with it and dive in and get a lot of insights out of it right away. Some people, it's a slow burn. Some people have yet to really dive into it. And so, you know, I think it's like with any, anything, um, you know, it, it comes to you at the right time.

33And if it doesn't, then don't force it and there'll be something else that maybe you're ready for. But for me, it was exactly the right time. And I think, I feel like probably half the people I've introduced to it have have embraced it and gotten a lot out of it so it it's something I feel really passionate about and really grateful for as well because you know the deeper we dive into the unconscious and into the true nature of the universe and ourselves you know it's a very vast space and even just within you know the idea of men's work there's masculine and feminine feminine and shadow work and you know do you what do you focus on where do you go does it all stay in the shadows and you know you could spend so long uh you know doing qigong and this and yoga and that and this and it's like this for me has become just the deepest most clear map to help me navigate and integrate a lot of those things too because a lot of those different sort of teachings and philosophies and practices, the ones that have resonated the deepest really dovetail perfectly with the G and Keys.

45So it's become a very synergistic, connecting, clarifying, and grounding tool for me because sometimes I can feel very lost in this work and confused and coming back to this, back to the profile, back to the activation and the Venus sequence especially. uh, it's like reassuring and helpful and, um, yeah, just become, you know, the thing I've probably dove into the most consistently and deep in, in all, in my nearly 10 years of like diving into this work. Um, it's just, uh, it's been amazing. Um, and so I'm super grateful for it. I'm by no means a master or anything like that. I don't even think I've listened to all the gene keys yet there's 64 of them um and each profile has 11 and so yeah i think you could spend 10 years like diving in and maybe after 10 years you could say you've got like a really deep understanding of it sometimes i feel like i know nothing and then sometimes i'm surprised at how much I have learned and integrated and understood.

57And so, yeah, it's been a beautiful, magical, challenging, and extremely helpful tool for me. And so I highly recommend it. And like I said, there's a free profile. There's a free course that you can dive into. There's a lot of free resources. They have tons of great stuff on the YouTube. There's the main book, which is the Gene Keys book, and it's got a long intro and then it's got essentially a chapter for each gene key. So don't read every one, but you can kind of use it as like a manual and go into the gene keys that you specifically want to. And then there's also an audio book essentially called The 64 Ways.

43And this is Richard Rudd himself reading a more almost like poetic interpretation of each gene key. So between the book and then the 64 ways, you've got two really interesting complementary takes on each gene key. And usually if I'm contemplating or studying a gene key, I'll listen to both of those multiple times. There's some gene keys I've probably listened to 10 to 20 times at this point. And I imagine I'll continue listening to them because they keep shedding new layers of wisdom. as I go deeper in my own journey and I'm able to sort of comprehend or understand things at deeper levels as well.

29And so, yeah, it's amazing. So in the profile, like I said, you have 11 spheres. Big picture, the idea is that it's holographic, and so all of these spheres actually are connected and live within one another. but in the Gene Keys system they've kind of been broken out into a little bit more of a linear path which makes it a little bit easier to understand and gives enough context to follow through and it's also broken into three sequences. So it kind of starts off with your life's work in evolution and then your... Now I'm not going to remember. and then uh well there's there's four spheres in the activation sequence and they're about your gifts and your sort of your prime gifts i think they're referred to um and those have to do a little bit more with like your work in the world and what you're doing and and then it goes down to the sphere of purpose which is more about how you're being it's not so much like your purpose but it's sort of like your being your beingness and then it goes into the venus sequence which is all about going into the heart and hopefully the goal is if there is one is to sort of work through that and be able to keep your heart open no matter what and that works back through developmental stages and childhood and birth and beyond birth into a sacred wound and then that sort of opens itself into the pearl sequence which is about prosperity and bringing your work into the world with your heart and, you know, sheds a lot of deep insights into how to do that and what to be connected to and what's, you know, essentially the higher expressions of yourself.

20And, you know, in the name Gene Keys, you know, it's a lot about your DNA and what is the wisdom and intelligence and history and potential of your DNA. You know, if it's, you know, in terms of epigenetics, you know if it's kind of shut down and you're in a more fearful state versus if you're in your heart and you're loving and then that genes can express at the highest expression of that so it was actually through studying the gene keys that helped me really understand like bruce lipton and especially joe dispenza and sort of what he's talking about and what they're trying to do in their retreats and um with their sort of process i was like oh the gene keys actually explains what that is in a much, for me, deeper and more understandable and helpful way.

14So, yeah, it's really interesting. And so, you know, you go into yourself, you go into your actual DNA essentially through this process and essentially unlock the highest expression of that as you work through the shadows, open the gift and embody the city. and there's some other different teachings that are part of the gene keys as well like the seven sacred seals which i'll definitely go into later because that's become a big part of my experience with the gene keys and there's also a book that richard rudd wrote that's called the art of contemplation and it's it actually doesn't really mention the gene keys in it it's maybe 100 pages but it's a really beautiful and helpful book just on how to contemplate and different ways to contemplate and how you can bring that and integrate that into your life and ultimately the better you get at contemplation the easier and more efficiently you can sort of understand and unlock these gene keys in the process as well and in the book the sort of process of contemplation that Richard outlines goes from allowing to accepting to embracing and that's sort of like when you think of the the shadows and the gifts we're in this process of we first have to bring awareness to it and allow it to be and then we can accept it and then we can embrace it and that is really beautiful and super helpful and it's one of the reasons why Gene Key 25 is so special to myself and and to everyone you know in the 64 ways reading Richard Rudd speaks about this GeneKey as sort of the hub GeneKey or like the hub of all GeneKey's in a sense.

06And it's really beautiful and really interesting. And yeah, this is one of the ones I've probably listened to at least 10 times, if not more. I listened to it again yesterday and I kind of knew this was the first GeneKey I wanted to talk about. And it's interesting because I don't actually have this GeneKey in my profile. I was introduced to it by my friend, Andrew, who does have it in his profile. And he was like, at some point, maybe a year ago, you know, like, hey, you should check this out. And I was just like, damn, this is, I feel this, you know, on many levels, I felt it. And, you know, it's interesting, because like I said, I don't have it.

52but it is a part of you know each gene key is a part of a codon ring which are all related through amino acids and physiology and certain themes and so gene key 25 is a part of the codon ring of humanity and i have a few gene keys in the codon ring of humanity and in my profile I have the 36 Gene Key two times in a very deep part of my Venus sequence, and the gift of that is humanity. So I have this very strong emphasis on humanity and understanding humanity and all its sort of flavors and aspects, which, you know, has been beautiful and really helps me understand how to work with people in my coaching and my, you know, the programs.

45And I can really relate deeply on a human level to so many different experiences of suffering, especially. And so, yeah, it's been challenging. It's pretty hardcore, but it's also been a beautiful gift to go deeper and deeper into that and allows me to connect more deeply with people in my life and people that I work with, which has really been very cool. And so, yeah, the Kodon Ring of Humanity is an incredible one. And this Gene Key is sort of the hub of the Kodon Ring of Humanity or the Master Key, and it's the hub of maybe all the Gene Keys in a way. And so, yeah, I'll kind of dive into my understanding and experience with the 25th Gene Key.

32Um, you know, like I said, it's very linked into that idea of contemplation and the art of contemplation. And so for me, when he talks about it being this hub gene key and the gift of acceptance, he breaks it into those three steps of allowing, embrace, allowing, accepting and embracing. and it's like that is those are that's the key to contemplating any of the gene keys or all of the gene keys so it's like the 25th gene key is almost the gene key that we use to contemplate all the gene keys because it reminds us how to do it you know and it reminds us kind of what to look out for in the shadow and the steps and, and all this.

22So that's why it's a great one to start off with, because I feel like even if no one, if you don't have this, like diving into this, um, is just so beautiful and so profound and so helpful because it's like, we take the sort of essence of this 25th Genki into contemplating any other Genki that we do have, you know? And I think that's, for me, what's made it so special. I did briefly mention the seven sacred seals, which is something I'll go into a specific episode about at some point. But in the profile, in our core, we all have a line number. And that line number is associated with our specific sort of sacred wound.

07and it's each jinky of the sacred seals grouping um the city of that heals one of these sacred wounds and so i have in my core a line three which is the sacred wound of shame and i guess i was about to say coincidentally but of course there are no coincidences jinky 25 and its city of universal love um is what heals the wound of shame so i also do have a sort of personal connection to it through my profile and that way along with the ring of humanity and And then it's sort of universal, universalness. And so, yeah, I'll start with looking at the shadow. And so we kind of have to look at the shadow.

00And, you know, they say that the gift is what comes out of the shadow, right? So I think a lot of the time when we think about shadows and fear, you know, the shadows are all sort of an experience of fear. and when you look at the book and the gene keys it's really helpful because it talks about where in the body this can show up and it also talks about the repressive and the reactive nature of the shadow and the shadow experience and so this shadow of constriction is something that I've you know is really what started my whole journey into this work and it's and that's kind of what it says it's for, um, when you listen to the Jinky as well.

44And so the tagline of constriction is constriction training. And it's this, you know, constriction in the body, um, around the heart, or for me also the solar plexus, um, when fear comes in and, and that's how we sort of react on a deep physical level. And so, you know, I think so often we want to avoid that or oppress it or, you know, escape it in some way. But the reality is like, we have to go into it, we have to go through it. And that's the only way. So how do we do this, you know, you know, that's what in the 64 ways, Richard breaks down as the steps of acceptance. And that first one is, is allowing.

26So when we feel that constriction and feel that fear in the body, we just have to become aware of it and we just allow it and through that allowing there's there's a spaciousness and you know it can sort of build an intensity to the point where we want to like sort of eject but ultimately it's like either titrating that or staying uh holding it holding ourselves and just allowing and it's like we don't have to like it uh we just have to allow it and create a little bit of space for it and eventually it does sort of start to dissolve a little bit and then we kind of see what's underneath that you know and he talks about that being like the physical the allowing is a physical so it's like that sensation the numbing the constriction the tightness we just have to allow that and usually like what is happening there is like the constriction on a deeper level is there to show us where there's a lack of love, where there's a lack of flow, a lack of safety and openness.

30And so it's kind of pointing to what needs attention, you know? And then, but the fear and the constriction is sort of, it's usually afraid of itself or it's afraid of the emotions beneath the constriction. You know, it's like, if I just let go, then all these emotions are going to come up and overwhelm me. So I need to constrict and hold tight, protect myself against these overwhelming emotions that, you know, I was never made to feel safe enough to feel all the way through. And so, you know, as we just allow this and sit with it, um, you know, we stop that sort of conditioned constriction training that starts in ourselves and our nervous system.

20It's a deeply unconscious response usually. And we move into the accepting. And the accepting is generally of the emotional body. It's of the emotions. And so once we allow enough and there's enough space, then we can accept some of the emotions that are there. Anger, sadness, grief, shame. You know, typically the emotions we hold in are the negative polarities, but it's really hard to only hold those in. So sometimes like a huge amount of love can be trapped within us as well. um i know for me personally like there's a fear of loving fully because if i just open all that up then all of this unprocessed sadness is going to come up and i'll be overwhelmed by the sadness and so then it's safer just to constrict and hold it all in but of course that does damage internally in a different way and really isn't a sustainable helpful way of living and so So it does take some discipline and commitment to work through this process.

37But that's the case with anything that we want, right? You know, career, endurance, pursuits, like everything requires some discipline and focus and awareness. So this is no different. It's just a little bit less tangible at times and trickier. but that's where the gene keys become so helpful in the sequences and the path that's laid out to tackle this stuff and so yes acceptance we accept the emotions we make contact with the emotions and we allow them into the heart right and then the heart is essentially this beautiful spiritual alchemical center organ that transmutes the fear or the held emotions back into love and the heart just like can't be overwhelmed, right?

30The ego thinks it can be, but the heart really can't be. It can expand and withstand any amount of pain and suffering. And so we just have to let it do its thing and get out of the way. And so the more we do that, we feel through the emotions, we process that, and then we come to the third step, which is embrace. And that's more of the mind where it's like we really understand the purpose and the process and there's gratitude. And it's like the final step of integrating that whole process of feeling the fear and the constriction and allowing it and then feeling the emotions and then moving through us.

14And then the deeper understanding and the mental like capacity to be like, ah, this is why this has all happened. and what a beautiful thing and I'm grateful for it. And, you know, sometimes it's hard to imagine that from where we might be sitting right now, but that's kind of the process there of the allowing, accepting, and embracing of the physical, the emotional, and the mental. And that's all kind of within the gift of acceptance in the 25th Genki. And so, you know, then we move up into universal love, which is a it's really interesting that the way that it's talked about in the book and in the 64 ways and I find myself the more I listen to the 64 ways and I listen to Richard it's really quite interesting to like listen to his his sort of cadence and his tone as he speaks and transmits essentially each of these gene keys and yeah the feeling that he shares through his reading of this is just like it's it's like a warm embrace it's so calm it's so patient it's so loving uh that like it's almost just comforting just to listen to him speak about it and not even pay attention to the words I find.

40And essentially, like what he comes to, at least on the explicit side of things, is like that this universal love really is like God, you know, it's really the fabric of the universe. It's the creative intelligence of all and everything. And it's sort of the love that underlies all the other expressions of love. You know, I think he references like compassion and ecstasy and devotion and you know this variety of these different expressions of love that you know have a sort of unique texture to them and some of them are more fiery and some of them are more subtle and some of them are more gentle you know but this universal love is like just it's almost like neutral like it's just like it's just what is you know it's just the truth of the universe almost and that for me is something i have connected to um through my work and and path and it's resonated very deeply um for me like i remember you know in my 20s and and maybe early 30s like you know falling in love and feeling that sort of youthful love it's like it's so like like a roller coaster it's so intense um and i remember like diving deep in medicine journeys and whatnot and being like well this like love that i i know this is love but it's really not like this roller coaster.

21It's just like this steady holding fabric of the universe type of experience, just a deep knowing and, and peacefulness. And, um, you know, as I've come down to understand this, it's like, that's what that really is. You know, it's kind of when that all that other stuff is sort of burned away or, or that fire kind of dies down. And so, yeah, it's, it was interesting to kind of reconcile like what I knew as love with what this kind of deeper experience of love and this universal love um really is and so yeah it was just kind of interesting um to to kind of understand that and take that into my body and the felt experience more and more um so yeah I think like he he drops these other hints about how it has to do with money and and things like that.

14And it's kind of funny because he obviously knows, I'm talking about Richard Rudd, like what he's referring to, but then there's no like follow-up that I'm aware of where he goes in deep. It's like, almost like he's teasing like a future chapter, but like that chapter isn't available. So, um, I'm like, well, what does this have to do with money? Like, you know, and I can see on the shadow side of things, you know, he talks about like how money can be so constricting. And I definitely feel that. Personally, one of the beliefs of the ego that Aaron Abke outlines, really the first belief is that of lack.

55And that can so easily translate to lack of money, feeling like lack of security, lack of safety. I need more of that. And it's like when we're in that fear state, it's usually very constricting. And sometimes that makes us freeze. sometimes it makes us go and do a lot and usually burn out or but you know you can see how money and constriction and that fear experience um it's not too hard to to understand how that could be the case um you know but some people as well like the constriction is around other things and they feel totally comfortable and confident with money so that's where like the gene keys you know can be very individual but also there's collective trends i would say as well and everyone is different right like not everyone has their fears and their sacred wound expressed in the same way you know some people it is with money some people it's not with money or some people it they have no problem making money but money is used for manipulation and control and uh is really like a false sense of security as well so you know it's uh there's so many layers to this um but it is an interesting one because i've personally been really confronted with with this money wound and this money sort of conflation with the feminine and and good enough and how does that relate to lack and you know understanding from a felt and a intellectual concept of like that the universe is abundance and that our true nature is abundance and that there is more money in the world that I could than I could ever you know spend or have and you know even fathom basically and yet I haven't embodied that and so I have these blocks around making money spending money understanding money and so yeah it's an ongoing process for me navigating fear and lack and money and the truth of abundance and um yeah it can be very frustrating and stressful and it's it's definitely been testing my level of trust um as well you know like i did a a journey i think last year and i you know money's come up a lot in the last year and um you know i'm like i'm just like so deep in this path and this work and i'm trying to like you know listen to my heart and follow it and not be swayed by the fear.

33And it was just like, whatever you need will be provided. You know, it was like the voice I heard and it was so clear. And in the moment I could really like feel into that, but you know, that, that gets challenged at times, certainly. And it's, it's not always easy to remember that. So yeah, yeah, I guess, you know, then it's like, okay, allow the constriction around money you know is that true i don't have to like it i don't want to be constricted by it but i have to feel my way into it in order to you know get to the acceptance and the emotional things around money um so yeah this gene key 25 is is really a special one um like I said, it's, it's connected to the heart as well.

23And, um, you know, in the gift of acceptance, it's, uh, it's little tagline is accepting love. And, you know, I think like a lot of the time that can be challenging and it's not, you know, it's, it's usually just due to different beliefs that we have unconsciously that are blocking that because we are love and our true nature is love. and our bodies are an instrument for receiving and giving love. Like everything is set up for us to have, you know, we can't give, we can't love ourselves dry. Like you can't give too much love, you know? Like if we just felt fearless and were able to just love everyone and everything in every moment while still setting boundaries, you know, and taking care of ourselves appropriately, we would be in amazing health and feeling fulfilled and deeply connected to to so much of what's going on around us um but it's like the fear that gets in the way of that it gets in the way of our true nature and so you know accepting love uh i know for me and a lot of people i talk to it's like just accepting a compliment you know is hard enough it's like oh great job on that race and it's like, wow, so-and-so went faster, this person did that, I messed up on this, rather than it's like, yeah, thank you, I really like gave it my best, and it was awesome, you know, we're very quick to sort of downplay any sort of compliment that we get, whether it's like about our physical appearance, or a work accomplishment, or a race thing, or whatever the case, and so, you know, just be aware of, you know, accepting a compliment, you know, accepting a kind thing like that, accepting love in small ways, you know, it doesn't have to be just opening our heart to everything fully in the moment, which we can't really do with our own personal will anyways, you know, which is interesting.

27So the myth of the sacred wound, that's the tag of the 25th gene key. And I think that's an interesting one, because it combines a lot of things, You know, a lot of the Gene Keys and a lot of texts in spiritual realms talk about like myths, right? These myths and these archetypes and living a mythic life, you know, living our own myth. And, you know, what does that mean is a really interesting question to me because I feel like I am doing it, but I also don't know if I could define it. You know, it's like while we're living the story, it's hard to know what the story is because it's still being written.

11And essentially in each moment, it's still unfolding. So I think it's really beautiful to read books, you know, like The Alchemist and Siddhartha. And there's so many more like that. And Joseph Campbell's work and really understanding these like great myths and stories because it can really give us so much. guidance honestly more guidance than like three steps to like lose 10 pounds or whatever like these myths are like deeply ingrained in our dna they're deeply ingrained in humanity and they're so helpful in guiding us so i guess there's like um the story of percival the sort of uh return of the the sun and there's uh dante's inferno and there's a lot of these like you know stories and poems and things like that that really can offer us deep guidance and comfort and understanding and also leave so much room for our own individual myth to sort of take its own path and and that and ultimately we kind of have to surrender to that unfolding um and realize that we're not really that much in control of it um but yeah i just think like that that idea of myth is really interesting.

29And then the sacred wound, you know, I don't know if this is like really explicitly shared the sacred wound, like what it is, you know, there's a few layers to it in my perspective, in my experience, you know, there's within our profile, the line of our core and that, that specific sacred wound that each of us carry. Um, so that's part of it. And that is, you know, maybe one of the most deepest challenges to to confront and be with and to sort of overcome in this process but ultimately it's like the reason we're here right and it's like the deeper you go into it it's kind of it's not even just about us personally it's about something ancestral within our family and our lineage it's the collective right and so part of this jinky as well is going from the personal to the impersonal and that's where universal love is just like it is like the collective it is everything that is and it's that it's like really knowing ourselves as the ocean and not just the drop or the wave but that that level of realization and i think that's scary it's scary to look at the world and think about you know this sacred collective wound that that wow if I can't even handle my personal wound how am I going to handle the collective wound you know how am I going to handle the pain and the love and the joy of humanity when I can barely handle you know my wife saying something to me that is really not even that deep and so you know I think like that can kind of scare us away but you know we don't get there overnight You know, it happens naturally and organically, I think.

23So, you know, it's interesting on that level. And then I think the other part of the sacred wound, you know, really what sort of like births the ego and its misguided beliefs is the sort of experience and belief of separation, right? And the wound of separation is something every human experiences because we're born. You know, it's like that being born. Wow. It's funny. We celebrate that day every year. It was actually probably one of the most traumatic experiences all of us will ever have, you know, from going from complete unity and oneness with our mother and the divine, you know, the divine essentially coming through our mother and, and growing us through the instrument of our mother's body.

11and of course you know pulling and using the dna of our mother and our father so this like incredible intelligence of the divine working through our mother and we are just like come into that experience of you know nine months of just pure unity oneness timelessness you know experience and then all of a sudden one day something changes and we go through you know the birth canal, hopefully, or, you know, maybe a C-section. Either way, we go through this experience of being separated from that oneness, separated from the mother, and then we basically spend the next 30 or 40 years, if we're lucky, trying to get back to that, realizing I can't, and my girlfriend or wife isn't going to do that for me, and actually now it's time to orient to spirit and realize who I am and what I'm here for and it's to sort of heal that sacred wound so separation you know can also be considered a collective sacred wound and it's definitely sort of the deepest wound that we all experience as humans and it's the the wound that the ego is sort of based off of as well that sort of belief of separation and so you know how do we heal that right it's like the ego believes that so intensely and on multiple levels deep in the body and the unconscious and so we can sort of begin to recognize and contemplate like what does that actually mean are we actually separate and really like we from egoic state like can't do anything about it and so that's one of the other teachings i really love from erin abke is like we recognize that and we kind of ask for forgiveness like please forgive me for believing I am separate like I can see it's not true but the belief in that creates the experience of it which is what creates the belief of lack and the fear of scarcity and so on and so on and you know essentially that suffering so here we are however many years later and you know one of the things I love about you know Richard's reading of this Gene Key in the Shadow is getting into it is like we have to first acknowledge that we're in prison or that we're suffering, right?

36If we're going to deny that, then you're not going to go down this path, right? And so it's absolutely crucial to admit and bring awareness to the fact that something's not working, something's not feeling good, there might be constriction, there might be fear manifesting in whatever way that is, you know, that can be ADHD, that can be autoimmune, it can be, you know, any long list of things. But acknowledging and accepting that we are suffering is absolutely essential to sort of open the door, you know, and that's where it's like, now we can go and live this myth. Now we can embark on this mythic journey, and into the darkness, into the shadow, and then back into the light and then probably back into the shadow and then back into the light and and so on and so on until we embody more and more of the light and you know ultimately like the shadow and these beliefs just can't exist in love right so it's just bringing light to the shadow it's bringing the love to the shadow or allowing the love and the light to come into these shadowy dark places that have been hidden away and then we don't have to do anything because they just can't live in that environment and then we just are more and more anchored in that sense of love and it's easier to accept love and so yeah that's kind of the 25th gene key and what it's all about and yeah I keep coming back to it and it keeps teaching me and it keeps showing me beautiful deep wisdom and I'm so grateful for the gene keys and I'm so grateful for this specific gene key another really cool thing about the gene keys is that each gene key itself has a programming partner so the 25th gene key has a programming partner of the 46th gene key and the 46th gene key is goes from seriousness to delight to ecstasy and so when we're working on a gene key or looking at it or contemplating it it's super helpful to look at its programming partner as well and so So if I'm feeling constricted, then I'm probably going to get serious and tighten up versus acceptance allows me to take delight in each moment.

00And then as I accept and touch into the universal love, ecstasy and joy and that sort of experience begins to sort of dawn and take over. And so looking at the programming partner is really helpful in understanding each gene key. And so you kind of get the idea between the codon rings, the gene key itself, the two readings of it, the programming partner, potentially where this gene key shows up in our profile if it does. Also, if it's connected to our sacred wound, you know, or if it's part of the seven sacred seals, then it's likely going to be connected to us in an important way as well. so all that's not to throw you off like one day at a time you know one jinky at a time one one understanding at a time but it it does go very deep and it's really quite profound and mind-blowing like it just continues to blow my mind uh and it's just like i can't believe this came through a person you know but of course it did because look at all the amazing things that comes through people and evolved through other people and and all that so yeah it's really it's really cool um the 46 that's programming partner is also part of the codon ring of matter which is a awesome codon ring which i'll also go into in the future because it's all about us uh incarnating and so there's four gene keys in that codon ring that go from our nine months in utero to our first seven years to our second seven years and then our third seven years and they govern the mental body the emotional body the physical body and then that sort of in utero process as well which maps to all three of those so it's really quite interesting and i believe that the 46th gene key governs the zero to seven developmental which is associated with our physicality and our physical body and nervous system and sort of cellular being so yeah so much more to go into i'm going to try and do one of these gene keys episodes each month but this is a little crash course into my experience with the gene keys how i found it helpful and of course the 25th gene key going from constriction to acceptance to universal love.

On this episode I dive into my experience with the Gene Keys over the last 22 months, how it's been helpful and some insights into how best to work with your profile. Gene Key 25 goes from Constriction to Acceptance to Universal Love and Richard Rudd refers to it as THE "hub" Gene Key. While I don't have it in my own profile, it has been one of the most potent and consistently helpful keys in the whole canon. I am eternally grateful for Richard and the Gene Keys, and I am excited to begin sharing some of my insights with this work on the podcast.
