A major reason why psychological safety matters is that the quality of our conversations matter. As a CEO, you probably know well that the biggest issue that you face, this constant feeling that I can never give enough time to anything that I need to give time to.
1:19You can't be general manager of a large organization or even a small organization without saying, what is the skill set that I need to be able to navigate this continuous onslaught of outrage and polarization? We know that one of the key reasons why organizations aren't able to innovate is they don't have the kind of leadership they need. Strategy is a set of choices that positions you on a playing field of your choice in a way that you win. Originally, my goal as a researcher was to figure out what are the competencies that leaders in this new world really need to be successful.
