In short
The hosts debate real-life and internet etiquette topics while also riffing on tech culture. Main segments include: using Yahoo Scout to build a “boat” investment case (and the joke about the tool misreading “R” as “boar”); whether iced coffee is acceptable at job interviews versus hot coffee; how AI is used for lost-pet flyers and other design tasks; and “peace”/ghosting norms plus the burden of birthday texts. They also discuss tech events they attended (Meta/iPhone-related excitement, VR skepticism) and DJ culture (Soulwax shows).
Guests
No guests appear in the transcript. The episode is between the hosts Chris and Jason (with occasional mentions of friends like Jonah, Jake Shane, Carolyn, Jordan Berry, Spencer, Jackie, and others, but they are not guests).
Key claims
Iced drinks are “treats” and hot drinks are “utilitarian,” so iced coffee at interviews is rude; AI can be good for practical design emergencies (lost pets) but can be absurd in tone; VR is mostly for people who care less about real-world utility; tech insiders get excited for product unveilings like “pastor mode.”
Notable examples
Lost-cat Labubu/AI flyer design; Justin Bieber iced-coffee photo; Meta/tech campus snack culture; Soulwax with three drummers; Zuckerberg/Alexander Wang style talk.

Transcript
Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:00We've been debating this off mic, off camera in our personal lives, but we're looking to expand our How Long Gone portfolio. We've been debating what we should do, and I think we've landed on a boat. I've been using Yahoo Scout to make my case for the boat. I've gotten a lot of great information from Yahoo Scout. It's organized it all perfectly for me. and I have the data to fight you in the squared circle, but do you have something to bring to the table? Have you been using Yahoo Scout as well?
0:32Jason Stewart:So the host of How Long Gone podcast, Buy a Boat, I typed in R instead of T and it said, should it buy a boar? And then Yahoo Scout was really cranking out a lot of agricultural relevance with livestock farmings as an investment. And instead of saying, oh, did you mean a boat? It said, no, I'm going to give you lots of pros and cons and things that you should talk about if you're trying to win a debate about boar ownership. I'm still focused on the boat. I don't want to get into our financials, etc. I'm just going to put all that information into the Yahoo Scout and let it spit out all the data and then I'll present you with a kind of a fully formed idea in deck format and we can kind of take it from there.
1:16But I feel pretty good about this. Thanks to Yahoo Scout.
1:18Jason Stewart:Try Yahoo Scout yourself at scout.com.
1:39How long gone? Good to hear from you, bitch. Saturday morning, 8 a.m. West Coast. I'm looking at the fog lifting over beautiful San Francisco. And it's all is right with the world, Jason. and I'm sure you feel the same way.
1:53Jason Stewart:Quite the opposite. Very tired. No sleep. Morning is fucked. But you had an emergency last minute flight change yesterday. So, you know, it is what it is. Why are you tired? Did you do something last night? I went out last night. And I got to go down to Orange County right after this for Carolyn's mom's birthday. So I haven't had a chance to, you know, I still got to walk the dog and shit the dog. Well, let me ask a question. Clean the house. Let me ask you a question. if you knew you had to go down to Orange County for the birthday, did you have to go out? I'm not policing your strategy. I'm just asking.
2:32Jason Stewart:I know I did not have to go out, but I planned my schedule all perfectly so I'd be able to sleep and go out and everything is going to be good. But then your flight changed yesterday and threw a little wrench right into that bicycle tire in the spokes, crippling me. Well, I mean, I feel like I'm going to get stranded here, honestly, is my fear because of this whatever's going on. Well, that does make me feel a little better.
2:58Jason Stewart:If you're trying to butter me up, it's working. Sorry, I just saw a picture of Jake Shane in a stroke shirt with black duct tape and posters going around to try to find Kaya Gerber's cat. Oh, my God. Can you send this to me? this is a lot yeah yeah he doesn't look great either oh man i mean don't he doesn't look great either he listens now that you guys are bestianas right he definitely doesn't listen now hell though he's never listened he doesn't know who i he doesn't remember no this is just this is just a really funny thing this is just really funny oh i see it okay so he really is no it's he has Look at the look of genuine concern.
3:43Okay. Now, look, Kai is going through it, obviously, because her brother died, which is legitimately tragic and sad. That's a good point. The cat being lost right after. But calling in your labubu to put, I guess with, Jason, you know better than me, with pet stuff. Is there any other, because there's no.
4:04Jason Stewart:Calling in your labubu? Unless you're posting in the neighborhood, what is it, Citizen app? Next door, Citizen, Facebook. The pet finding has gone a little more digital in 2026. But I see these signs a lot. Nevertheless, she persists. It feels like the way that people say the best way to find an apartment in L.A. is to drive around and look at signs still. Is that possible? This is a different scenario. It's kind of like when you are a labubu and Bestie can't find her cat, you want to do anything and everything. And that means calories burned. I need to go out there. I don't even care about my outfit.
4:53Jason Stewart:I'm just so determined to go on AI and make these flyers for a lost cat and put them up around. Second question, do you think that's a new stroke shirt? It looks new. It's a stroke shirt that I have never seen before. Do you think it's from Just Like Heaven Festival? No. Okay. If you go to the last slide, you can definitely tell that AI generated the amount of, I bet you AI has so many lost animal templates stored into its data center. Well, look, as far as AI artwork goes, I'm kind of okay with that use. I think that's probably one of the best uses of it. I am okay. But to me, the line is like, all right, we lost our cat.
5:39Jason Stewart:Our family is in hysterics. Nobody can sleep. Nobody can eat. It's an ocean of tears over here on Carmar Drive. And you know what? I have some design thoughts about how cute this little lost animal poster should be. Oh, wow. That picture is crazy. Sorry, I'm just looking at it now. this is awesome actually tony pray for tony you can tell i mean you can because like you can make an you can use ai to generate the menu for your restaurant and it can be a tasteful you know thickums menu it can be you know here's my crudo for 24 and you know the weiser farms melon and blah blah blah or you can do the the parasitic chopped cheese food truck ai menu like there's there's levels to it and it's always fascinating when when people make the lost something where like there's a genuine emergency and pain in your life and you're like is that the red that we want to use or should we do kind of a purple see this is again this is when stuff like this happens i'm like this is why you don't have a pet this is just why you don't do it the the the chances of something like this happening it affects your emotional state and you get paparazzi'd in an unflattering stroke shirt like is it worth it you know what i mean is the love worth it it's a good question it's a really good question is the love from a basically an inanimate object worth it you know and i don't know i don't know if i have the answers and i i mean maybe you could tell me but i feel like that's a broader sort of you know existential question about any type of of love but i'm saying jason low-key low-key bro i feel like talk your shit brother i mean look i'm just saying i think you'd be okay i'm saying i think you'd be okay be okay if my cat ran away i think you would be like oh no that's bad and you're gonna help your chick look because you're not a dick you're not a monster but in the in your heart of hearts you're kind of like oh hell yeah i'm done with this shit um i guess it really it's uh it's a cat by cat basis i'm sure there are you know i'm sure there are some pusses that you want to pass on and some pusses that you really want to work hard for you know that's a that's a metaphor for life right there brother there is that's that's real talk that's a real day past past the puss is is sort of pass on the puss to me it's a real you know dare program you know what i mean just say no you know they call it dope for a reason okay you know i yeah this is this is it's something to think about i just think there are more i think our hearts go out i think there are a lot of pet owners out there especially if they're pet owners by relationship status only that would be like, oh, no.
8:29Oh, Fido got out, you know, and then they have to deal with it. And it's going to make their life hell for two weeks because their chick or their man is going to be freaking out. But deep down in their gut, they're like, oh, hell, I'm never picking up shit again. Life is good, baby.
8:42Jason Stewart:Yeah, there's a little, I mean, you know, do you feel that way when your kid gets stuck in a well and they're a bad kid, you know, like you just raised a little demon? Probably. There are probably people that do that. This kid ran away. They're like, let him run. You can just stay for good. Stay over there, bro. I don't give a fuck. Let Macha go explore. See what's up in those Hollywood hills. Macha, you think you got it bad here? Wait till you get out of the streets. It's a little different. This ain't the bird streets, bro. You are the bird. You ain't getting the bird. You are the bird. If you look around looking for birds to eat and there are none, bitch, you are the bird.
9:18You are the bird. You are the bird. I guess we should discuss this iced coffee discourse. I feel like this is something that really is in our zone.
9:29Jason Stewart:I'm sipping on a delicious coffee right now. Shout out to my fellow family. I'm a little bit, yeah, I'm a little. Well, can you explain it for our listeners who are in the dark? I mean, basically, I don't think any of our listeners are in the dark. That's the sad part. But I think it's basically somebody brought an iced, somebody said you couldn't bring an iced coffee to a job interview. And then, and that was it, I think. unless there's more to it that I wasn't aware of. I saw that, and then I also saw there's no kind of correct or good way for a man to walk around with an iced coffee. Yeah, Jonah posted the picture of Justin Bieber where he's sort of got his hands.
10:08I don't know how to explain it.
10:09Jason Stewart:And the Justin Bieber, yeah, Justin Bieber, he's wearing a hoodie over his body and his arms are out of the sleeves coming down from where the torso comes out and he's holding an iced coffee friend of the show jonah from blackbird spy plane pointed out there is one instance where a man did look cool walking down the street with his iced coffee and he's right he did he's 100 right i i feel like um it reminds me of every time i would post a photo like an airport photo with my suitcase and we've talked about it before where i'll get like three burner accounts from you know people who hate me calling me a fag because i have a roller suitcase and i'm not carrying you know my army duffel bag say his name his name is david coggins and he has several burner accounts where he likes to he likes to send shots your way if you're not carrying your david you can tell when he's on his third glass of scotch when he really when he pulls out that one burner he's like that sancerre was a little sweet but i'm gonna have another one i'm gonna have another just something felt wrong in the palette i should probably go back again and just kind of see yeah jack hawkins he comes out i was watching i'm doing a madman rewatch if you wanted to know if kk's out of town you know and he goes over don draper goes over to a co-workers house party that he does not want to go to he gets out of it he tries to wiggle out of it a thousand times and they he finally shows up and they're like can we get you a drink don he goes big and brown brown that's what coggin says when he comes home from the menswear factory brown but so you're saying that you're saying i you're saying that women can carry an iced coffee basically but men can't is is the well let's let it's a two-parter so let's get into the job interview portion of it first i feel like just on a manners level showing up to a job interview with any food or beverage item yeah on display is considered uncouth in my opinion and except for you know hey do you want a bottle of water have a couple sips out of it but uh whatever you definitely can't show up anywhere late with a nice coffee or any coffee whatsoever let me ask you a question let me ask you let me ask you a question i agree i i think this is bad but let me ask you a question sometimes when you go to maybe some of these tech forward offices where they have a litany a selection of la colom on draft snacks and beverages and they want you to take it if you take it in the waiting room because you're 15 minutes early and the admin has offered you a la cologne a la cologne oat draft latte uh are you able to accept that or is it still rude to i i wouldn't bring it into the room i don't think i think i think for a job interview no for a meeting i think it's okay if it comes from inside the house okay yeah i think that's a big differentiator because a lot of these you A lot of these offices, they are offering Stumptown for their employees and guests.
13:06Jason Stewart:When I was doing Bandsplained with Yassi Salek at the Spotify Ringer offices in Hollywood, if I'm going in there to have a little pod, grab a Baby Bell, grab a LaCroix. We're going to make you talk about movies for four and a half hours. The least we can do is give you a fucking bottle of water. here's your here's your pample moose lacroix your chomps all right so there is a there's a bed in there if you would rather do this you're gonna be here for a while so let's get let's get we're doing heat one and two so you know get comfortable there's uh you want to make sure you get some good calories in the system i gotta say when i was at the when i was at meta connect this week and i was at the the world headquarters when i wasn't walking through the frank gary design garden I was being shot at by snacks.
13:59It was like World War II. Oh, really? And I was fucking storming. The snacks, it was unbelievable the amount of snacks.
14:05Jason Stewart:Break it on down. I mean, Spotify, like I said, they had a nice little rig, nice little setup. The drinks fridge bottom, it was like all the drinks, all the good drinks you would want, the La Croix, the Diet Cokes, the coconut or whatever. And then at the very bottom, hard-boiled eggs, baby bells. That's nice. that's a little that's i know you don't care for the egg but you know and i was also a little i don't i don't like egg in a plastic bag no no no it feels like it feels like the end of time but uh yeah it was well they had the thing that is the craziest where it's sort of the i know you guys are going out and you need some obvious effortless options and uh whether it's for events or travel or just last minute plans uh when life is busy you don't have time to sweat over your look and revolve's got you motherfucking covered jason it feels curated not chaotic everything is styled so you can see how it works it's not about one piece it's about the full look and you got fast shipping and easy returns what more what more could you want jason yeah this house over here where we live it's a revolve house there's always things coming in and you know we're always like wow that came faster than we thought it was going to it's not just for the ladies now we got revolve man revolve man's got you sorted out you're going to dinner you're going to a friend's wedding.

Five free travel sachets plus 10 % off your order. That's code howlongatim8health.com slash howlong. Code howlongatim8health.com slash howlong. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent any disease. The wall of distribution where it's like 16 containers and you open a thing. Look like Joe Budden's sneaker closet? Yeah, you pull something or you push something and you got cheese it, but you got everything.
18:13I mean, it's cross-brand. It's cross-category. You can get a bowl of Cheerios. You can get a bowl of Cheez-Its. You can get this. You can get that. Whatever. We got popcorn. We got M &M's. We got peanut M &M's. We got peanut butter M &M's. It was sort of that situation.
18:28Jason Stewart:Okay, and you were able to resist entirely, I'm assuming. I was able to. Well, I didn't want to get into a shoving match with 14 coders that have been up all night. So I kind of kept to myself. This is what they got. They needed it more than me. They're not going to get through that final push, the final sprint without some chocolate. I was just there hanging out. I was just there hanging out. I was fine. I was going to be okay. Well, going back to the iced coffee, how do you think the iced versus the hot differentiates? If you show up to your meeting, you're going to go meet someone over at Condé for a TB, touch base.
19:08Jason Stewart:If you show up with a hot coffee, is that considered respectful and okay? And also, is there a time? Because hot coffee sort of means it's early, it's in the morning, you know, 9 a.m. type of meeting. But the iced coffee lets us know it's a little more afternoon vibes. maybe the sun hasn't had a chance to come out it's hot enough to necessitate the iced coffee so that changes things you know what i mean this is actually a great question because i see a lot of people siding with hot coffee the hot coffee is acceptable and iced coffee isn't and i i just don't think that's fair um i i think if you're going to discriminate surprise mr iced coffee doesn't think that's fair no no no but i like in the winter i have an iced coffee in the afternoon when i'm feeling i call it the working man's cup you know when i'm when i'm feeling more straight and don't want to spend$10 on a Cortado, I will get a drip coffee from Intrigal and sit there and think about my life and wonder if my wife packed my lunch pail correctly.
20:09But I don't know how you can, it's crazy that temperature could dictate appropriateness, but I kind of feel like it does somehow.
20:18Jason Stewart:1 ,000 % does. Same thing with iced and hot teas. A cup of hot tea, it's like you know it's restorative we're meeting we're chatting we're getting cozy we're waking up we're you know enriching our soul and spirit we're getting morning horizontal light for our circadian rhythms ice tea oh we're now we're on vacation oh okay nice ice tea ice tea is very yourself ice tea is very hollywood executive at lunch to me that like people ordering ice tea or just your mom no ordering iced tea in a professional setting or bringing one i mean your mom not moms in general your fucking mom i don't know if my mom has enough i don't know if there's enough sugar in the world to add to the to the tea to make it you know the the very the very uh what is it like the the blame it on my roots kind of country swag i i the only time i do sweet and low i'll do half a packet of sweet and low in my unsweetened iced tea because that's where meemaw used to drink it that's any other time sweet and low is a ridiculous proposition in my life but the way that the that pink bag that pink tosy dances with the nice unsweetened lipton oh my god delish delish i mean it looks it looks sweet and low packaging also one of the great greats design wise love the way it looks great great thing to look at that into a 90s rave flyer logo flip don't even don't get me started it's too early uh i i but i think this iced coffee thing has made everyone stupid like all great internet debates it's people are dying on hills that they don't they don't need to die on but i think it really comes down to temperature for me i think that's the big differentiator because iced beverages iced tea and iced coffee iced matcha those are treats hot coffee hot tea hot you know hot even a hot matcha those are utilitarian necessary no ration matcha you're not i'm not gonna let you say hot matcha okay not matcha okay i was getting the rest of it i was getting greedy first cup of hot coffee in the morning that's a utilitarian necessity i completely agree i think iced coffee at at 2 38 p.m after you're walking home from your cool dinner i mean sorry your cool lunch that's a treat broski and if you show up to a job interview with a treat you're a bitch yeah yeah i mean imagine if i showed up to a job interview with just a giant you know brown butter sea salt chocolate chip cookie just taking bites throughout the meeting like it was you know just no big deal you got the brown paper bag you open it up because the the scone has a clotted cream and uh raspberry preserves on the side and you set up a little dip station.
23:06Chris, what's that? Oh, this is just a cinnamon sugar donut from Balthazar. I'm going to dunk it in my coffee.
23:11Jason Stewart:Your mouth is full and you're like, I guess my weakness is I work too hard. I care too much. My wife says I got to stop working on the weekend so much. Anyway. I think that actually I agree with you, and I think the other big thing with this is the idea that you show up five minutes late with an iced coffee is is the best version of this is the funniest way that this could shake out yeah and that's become so ubiquitous now that you know everyone has that person in our life where it's like yeah i'm gonna be 20 minutes late and just like a warning i will be showing up with a blue bottle coffee yeah i'm late because i got coffee and i deserve that and i am that bitch you know that kind of energy where you just like excuse something before it even happened our whole culture our whole culture now is i have to protect my peace no matter how that affects anyone around me or in my life we're not talking about the stick though no not my not not not my clear not my no it's not the stick it's p e a c e not p it's just like oh i didn't text you back for two weeks and you needed an answer i was protecting my peace sorry i was just i wasn't looking at my phone and that that's the new that's sort of that's acceptable now acceptable behavior here are the 10 reasons why i ghosted you yeah i mean it's you know we've all done it we've all been there but you know all we can do is hope to grow and learn and change our ways i wish i had more peace to protect i guess maybe that's my i guess that's my issue really i mean i don't what the fuck am i gonna do yeah i'll respond sure i got what i mean i don't know not me i mean well this is good you just had your birthday a week ago i had mine a few weeks ago when that birthday hits you got your text messages and you've got your instagram nobody's text nobody's texting no nobody's doing that trained i'm getting very yeah i'm getting very very little but do you ever because i i do the same thing i don't want to make a big fuss about it i because i really i get overwhelmed i get inbox fatigue when I have to respond to, you know, 58 happy birthday messages.
25:23Jason Stewart:And some of them are your dear friends. Some of them are your, you know, whatever. And some of them are a guy that you haven't talked to or seen in 15 years. And they see you on IG and they hope you're doing well, man. And they're all good people with good messages of love. They took time out of their day to send you a message on your special day. Even though you don't talk very much anymore, they're still in your life. and i look at that shit and i just i throw the phone on and say nah bro i can't i just can't sit down for an hour and a half out of my day to respond to correspondence no i i birthday messages are stupid i've said that a million times there's no reason for it if you're if you're in person it's great if you're texting it's it's more of a burden on the receiver that's the issue with it it's a job it's the thing that i think about it's it's very larry david e david it's it's davidian in nature of like you know don't don't do nothing for me i won't do nothing for you don't expect a birthday message coming from me and i will not expect one from you we'll all move on with our lives but i've i've found myself trying to find workarounds where you know i'll wish somebody a happy birthday send them a message that i hope that i received which would be like hey happy birthday no need to respond no need to blah blah blah you know hit me with the heart heart react on it see see see keep it moving if there's if there's an opportunity if it's a message that says no need to respond that means you don't need to send it that's the thing that's the thing because sometimes there's somebody in in my life uh that does this and i'm always like so it's like it's a it the whole thing is chopped off at the legs it's a meaningless yeah it's sort of like going to a protest and saying no need to arrest me yeah yeah it's completely it's like well then don't send it or email the because email feels less you know less urgent as far as the response goes why are we here but that's the issue we've shifted to text-based communication for all things business personal and otherwise and it does it feels like there's more pressure to respond quickly because that is the nature of text messaging versus email email is sending a carrier pigeon you know what i mean and and text messaging is is a phone call.
27:35Yeah, but who's going to send
27:37Jason Stewart:happy birthday emails, right? That feels a little... Well, again, Jason, do you see what I'm doing here? You're training me. No one. No one. That's the whole point. Nothing. No one, nothing. Never. Just don't. It's all good. I want a birthday text. There needs to be an app for this. Some type of birthday app where we can all... Our agents can wish each other happy birthday and our agents can reply and thank you and here are the flowers. I really love them. This is a really good use of AI, actually. There's no birthday communication. It's strictly agent-to-agent communication. If I have to hear the word agent, you spend 12 hours in the Bay Area, you hear the word agent 150 times.
28:15It's unbelievable how many times I've heard the word agent.
28:17Jason Stewart:It's not in the Ari Emanuel sense of the word either. No, and it's not in the FBI style either. Why would you name? I walk around with my laptop slightly ajar. Dude, that is so funny that you said that. I was going to say today, San Francisco is the place where you see ajar laptops more than anywhere else in the world. Like guys walking around the Four Seasons lobby, laptop cracked open. Why is the laptop cracked open? Because their agents are working, and if they close the laptop, then computer goes shut down. But doesn't your age, can't the, yeah, I guess, I guess. Sure, I mean, I don't know.
28:54Jason Stewart:I am no expert, but this is. But that must be it, right? yeah yeah yeah that is it no like when as soon as like claude really started pumping and agents were really agenting that was a thing where it was like a meme people would you know i'm here i am walking from my home to my office or to get coffee or whatever it is and i'm you know i'm walking down division street or i'm in the mission or whatever and i've got my macbook open slightly ajar i know people were like 3d printing little kind of objects that can like wedge in there it's like you know probably some cute little to like keep it yeah yeah a little it's like oh here's my little you know red panda 3d printed thingy that sits there and he blocks the laptop from closing jesus christ my agent that is you know figuring out a way to scalp tickets in dubai can figure out you know i can finish generating that code i i just yeah i i because also i came home i went to shape anise last night with spencer and jackie and i came home we got i got back to the hotel and it's 9 30 on a friday night or whatever and it's just fucking people working people two laptops open in a hotel lobby at 9 30 on a friday and i'm like not at home not at office multiple people four seasons you're on a work trip in theory and it's friday at 9 30 that's when you have the company card at the restaurant or bar that's when you had that's the whole point now you're at in a hotel lobby no drinks no food just you sitting there with your airpods in with two two screens open and a mole skin going absolutely fucking feral it's crazy too okay yeah well i mean i think you know the the younger generation not to go old old mode but you know you're more comfortable with three screens and devices open in front of you than three people sitting in front of you at a dinner table on a friday night you know enjoying a meal with your friends and compatriots that you have chosen to share a life with in your endeavor to fucking slay the world or whatever and you can't even eat onion rings with these people without taking a beta blocker i've just put me in front of the screen put me in front of the screen let me do the work and everything's gonna be okay it's like bro it's friday night and it's it's not like six you know i mean it's not dusk it's like night time like either go to bed or go out there's no sitting with two laptops is not the answer no matter what i don't care how much fucking stock you have yeah that doesn't feel like the answer you know people people love a sprint and they see each other posting on x the x platform and they're like oh you know instead of going out you know we're we're gonna have a fucking all-nighter and we're gonna wear our pajamas and three people that just got here from MIT are gonna just get their freaking coat on and what are they what are they doing we don't know how are they doing it we don't know what's the purpose we don't know how are they getting paid are they getting paid who knows nobody knows but we're just if we don't stay up all night doing this we are going to be left in the dust it blew my mind I was like because that obviously that's the vibe but then I was like wait what day is it I was like wait a second hold on hold the fuck on well i mean you're in the you're in the belly of the beast i am i am in the belly of the beast i mean it's not where all that shit goes down no of course of course and you i mean it's it's you can tell that's where it goes down by looking at people in the size of their backpacks but seeing the seeing that demonstration of it felt so extreme to me could only imagine yeah like when we were when we were um at the ghanies which is over you know chelsea and i was over there noticing that so many people were walking around with backpacks over there you know business people with suits on but with the backpack and i i is that part of town over by the water the google office the google office is right there yeah i know yeah i know google's there but i feel like a lot of other you know it's sort of you know how silicon beach in la like one one thing goes in and now all the people are just like we hang out over here and this our little kind of tech land where we can walk around with our our hooli hooli backpacks on and people in we found our parts of the world will not point and laugh at us this is a safe space this is a safe space for us it might be i don't go over there enough to to know that wouldn't surprise me though they got to pick somewhere i'm sure a lot of people will send me dms about it right now oh yeah they'll let you know somebody'll some of these high-ranking employees will it fill you in actually i sent you I don't know if I've seen the video, but I went to see Soul Wax on Thursday at the Regency, which I'd never been to that venue.
33:39It was really cool. It's like a great classic New York venue, but then the balcony where everybody stands, there's seats and you can actually see. It's unbelievable. I feel like in New York, every time I go to a quote unquote VIP balcony, I'm just four rows back and can't see anything. And I'm like, this isn't really, I'd rather just be downstairs so i could see it um but soul wax bro soul wax had three drummers on stage full kits three drummers with full kits and all of their whatever freaky custom-made synthesizers and it was just it was awesome i was really like i was really man this is good and cool and it's so rare

34:19Jason Stewart:to see something like this and i like that they're old as well yeah they're dressed right like they're wearing suits they're old everything sounds good everything looks good it's just kind of like it's like damn you this is clearly very expensive to do like this this show is expensive and they're probably uh you know it's affecting the bottom line and they don't care yeah because they have they have the too many djs dj sets with zero production costs i mean not zero but you know much less so they're able to maybe recoup yeah those margins doing that actually i was last night I was hanging out with our friend Jordan Berry and he said he just saw them DJ at Living Room, the members only club.
35:01Jason Stewart:And he was like, bro, it's so good. It was the best Living Room had been. Because usually whenever I've been there, I've played there. The vibe never really, unless you're playing like Tulum music, the vibe doesn't get there. Doesn't really ever take off. But he was saying like they were just killing it. Because these are guys, you know, we had Soul Wax on the pod a couple years ago. and they're really smart talented people and they've been you know djing professionally on you know a masterful level for three three decades maybe you know yeah that's what i was gonna say i'm like it's kind of crazy because those guys are what in their late 50s yeah so i mean yeah these are people who have been djing you know vinyl since they were probably teenagers in high school and that is you know that is 40 years ago yeah it's crazy so they just like just the knowledge that you have of like this is what works yeah you know i'm we're gonna throw a dance party and this is like we i don't know the newest hottest ninja rachi whatever fucking jane remover trance core break remix or whatever but i know don't talk about 10 10 benja like that okay i can't believe y 'all don't know 10 10 but you're right they're like we go beyond that like we're too good we don't need to it doesn't need to be insanely current just the same reason why two years ago everyone was like oh yeah why are we listening to all this dumb dance music when abba has been here the whole time and then everyone in the world is like oh yeah abba is the best at making dance music you know for white people and it's been sitting there the whole time we went to dinner before with like some it was like me and connor and some aeg people that were in town for the fest for portola and i was trying to explain to them what the what when we podcasted with soul wax i was trying to explain to them the room that they were in like i was like trying to i was trying to explain to this guy zach how cool it was and i realized i wasn't i wasn't it wasn't coming across i was like i can't explain to you how cool this room it was the coolest room anyone has zoomed from that i have seen and i don't what when we when soul wax they were in their studio but it was like the it was like the lie it was the library of the studio that's right and it was just it was it was a cross between like a chromio stage direction a circular vinyl library and a 70s glass chrome conversation pit it was just so well done and like i was just kind of like what is it i was like man your money goes far in ghent you know and that's what i that was i know you guys have been doing this for 40 years but damn like shit this this is nice it's a ghent thing y 'all wouldn't get it y 'all wouldn't get They need to make sure this is y 'all don't gint it.
37:48That's the merch. That's the merch.
37:50Jason Stewart:Y 'all wouldn't gint it. Well, I think a lot of people are probably curious to hear the Chris Black boots on the ground in the metaverse. I mean. You know, I want to know about it. It was something else, man. Obviously, you're coming off the heels of the iPhone release. You know, the fold. The fold. Well, I think that the whole thing is sort of like, or the major takeaway for me is the level of excitement from people is sort of like, I've never witnessed that about something that's tech related, if that makes sense. I'm like, I don't know what I get excited about anymore because I'm old and angry.
38:34Jason Stewart:you know but even even back in the day like when steve jobs was like here is the new here's the iphone no no more buttons like when that happened were you like all right that's cool whatever or you were you was i didn't think about that i never thought about that no like i just don't that's just not my thing like i'm like i'm gonna use whatever is the best for me when it comes out but like i'm not gonna get excited about new technology i i just don't sure like i'm happy to use it and make my life easier but like getting excited about it is is something there's not a situation in your life where you're like uh if i only had the iphone 18 max all of my problems would be solved my problems that's not a thought that has ever crossed your mind that did not that did not cross my mind uh i would say that the most interesting part was sort of hearing the guy from luxottica um the the eyewear sort of eyewear baron yeah talk to one of the like crazy engineers because they made the fucking the Clubmasters without a camera.
39:34So it's just, it's basically like you can listen to music without wearing headphones and talk to whatever, blah, blah, blah. I just don't, I don't, VR, who cares? I just don't think anybody cares about that. I don't think it's ever going to work. And I don't, I just don't think anybody cares about that. Like only guys that jerk off too much and watch football, like who cares about VR? Like actually, you know what I mean?
39:58Jason Stewart:Oh, well, Do you think that there is, I mean, I'm with you. I've never, you know, I've never craved a VR space, really. I'm sure I've done it a few times and played a couple games and it was fine, but I was never like, oh, I can't wait to go back into that verse. But there's a little part of it where it's like, you know, to push the whole thing forward, we have to take these small steps and the VR glasses that people are wearing or the Snapchat glasses or the Apple Vision Pros. These are all just crudely formed steps on the way to reach nirvana at the top of the mountain kind of thing. You know what I mean?
40:38It just feels like something that these companies just push on and push on and push on. And I'm like, I don't know who this is for, but there must be a greater end result that they know about that we don't. You know what I mean? Because I'm like, I don't see.
40:51Jason Stewart:Well, I mean, I guess if people were wondering if you got paid by Meta, I guess this answers the question. no you don't get paid i get paid shit i just all this all this kind of stuff but like everyone like whenever you see you know reporters or journalists or tech people or whatever once you get invited on the inner circle then it's like oh they're we're drinking the kool-aid now it seems like you people are so people are the fact the way people think things work is so crazy to me i'm i'm gonna go to this because it's crazy i'm gonna go to this because i like to check things out i'm gonna go to this because i need the lisa edition of the meta glasses well that that of course i mean i'm i'm bearing the lead but i i guess i'm just sort of like why on earth would i not go see what this is all about like this is this is some crazy shit that is sort of out of my purview i don't really understand what's going on necessarily but why would i not why would i not go and see what these people are up to because it's like i i don't i i don't know up to something they're up to something over there it's like it's no different than going to to me it's no different than going to check out anything else it's just sort of like this is crazy let me see what these guys have to say there's a new tamagotchi called charm and i think they're going to make a lot of money on it that's my biggest takeaway that's literally my biggest takeaway well if you if you got invited to the unveiling of a new tesla car is that something that you might go to no that no probably not i did just because i don't really seen where the line is i mean i don't care about like i think elon's bad and that's you know no question but i also i'm not even saying like politically speaking or anything but that's the problem it's all political interest in it that's the problem is that i'm interested in everything because i just like to see who's doing what pause you know what i mean like i'm just sort of like yeah let's check it out i don't know that these are the greatest minds of our world doing stuff that i may or may not care about why would i not go see what they're see what they're doing i'm a cultural commentator right at the end of the day but i just don't think it's like the tater and commentator don't you yeah i don't i just don't understand but yeah it was a funny it was funny to walk around because they build like it's like disney world you know it's like this insane thing they spend millions of dollars on they bring all these developers and all the staff and you know whatever people like we got a little complex con of our own don't we yeah yeah but it was an interesting it was interesting to see that part also just like what it it's like what it all there's there's this area to make origami you know and there's this area to do that and this and then you can go into this you know 3d artist cube it's all this shit it's all these activities go to the pizza slime activation corner they were there the slime was there but then you but then you at the end it's really about this like 45 minute presentation where the leaders of the company get on stage and sort of you know go pastor mode to talk to you about whatever the new shit is and that's what all these nerds like breathlessly when it's apple these fucking nerds are sitting there with the their hand on their dick under the desk you know losing their minds about whatever it is so i've always been fascinated last the last phone 28.6 megapixels this phone 29.8 megapixels yeah that's what i'm saying people start fucking slitting their wrists this episode of how long gone is brought to you by ship station uh ship station an end-to-end order fulfillment platform for e-commerce businesses built to handle your entire shipping workflow so your team can sip matcha and focus on growth and everything from order management to inventory returns it's all in one place with one automated rate shopping so you can compare those rates across ups usps fedex all of the carriers saving you up to 90 off sometimes we connect with over 200 marketplaces online and the accounting and crm tools you're looking for are already there no rebuilding no disruption all that stuff is plug and play we don't want to have multiple tools multiple websites you know passwords here forgot this you know it's costing you money and time so that's why we love to use ship station the sooner you switch the sooner you start saving time and money.

Taxes and fees apply. We've been debating this off mic, off camera in our personal lives, but we're looking to expand our HowLongGone portfolio. We've been debating what we should do and and i think we've landed on a boat i've been using yahoo scout to make my case for the boat i've gotten a lot of great information from yahoo scout it's organized it all perfectly for me and i have the data to fight you in the squared circle but i have you done do you have something to bring to the table have you been using yahoo scout as well so the host of how long gone podcast buy a boat i typed in r instead of t and it said should it buy a boar and then you know So Yahoo Scout was really cranking out a lot of agricultural relevance with livestock farmings as an investment.
45:59Jason Stewart:And instead of saying, oh, did you mean a boat? It said, no, I'm going to give you lots of pros and cons and things that you should talk about if you're trying to win a debate about boar ownership. I'm still focused on the boat. I don't want to get into our financials, et cetera. I'm just going to put all that information into the Yahoo Scout and let it spit out all the data. and then I'll present you with a kind of a fully formed idea in deck format, and we can kind of take it from there. But I feel pretty good about this. Thanks to Yahoo Scout. Try Yahoo Scout yourself at scout.com. We all know eating out in New York has become an extreme sport.
46:38Jason Stewart:If you treat dining out like a full-time obsession and care about the scene just as much as what's on the menu, you need to listen to Expense Account. Expense Account uses food as an entry point to bigger conversations about culture, identity, taste, and the way we live now. It treats every meal as a window into someone's life and the world at large. Hosted by Jay Lee, food critic at Emily Sundberg's Feed Me Media Empire. Each episode features Jay sitting down with guests like writer Molly Baz, chef Carla Lally, PBS host Patty Ginch, and so, so many more to explore how food and culture are inextricably linked.
47:17Jason Stewart:You might also hear from musicians, writers, tastemakers i even recorded an episode with them as well on the cutting room floor even the bartender at jay's favorite joint because everyone eats everyone has a story and everyone has a take so to so to be it's like well if people are this excited about it maybe i should you know the the energy is palpable if you care i will say that that's definitely that's definitely how did you feel about zuckerberg's shirt building is my love language is that what it said i don't i don't think that was kind of looks like Beyonce merch it wasn't the best choice uh it wasn't the best choice but I think that I think that like expecting these because he was wearing pants from the row and Prada sneakers and people people are obsessed I mean there's a Vanessa Friedman story in the New York Times about how Zuckerberg dresses it was like people are really fascinated with it and I'm like dude that is not who cares like who cares about how he like that that is I mean I guess it's interesting because these guys are so rich i guess but i'm like i don't need my my i don't know there's some people i don't care about their style and it's mostly in that realm for sure like i don't give a fuck about what mark zuckerberg is wearing i don't give a fuck about what tim cook is wearing i don't give a fuck about what elon puts over his tommy pickles body like it's just it's just like i don't give a shit about that that's not these people that's not what we're looking to these people for i guess is what i'm trying to say well that's that's how dark it's gotten is that we've you know these people have turned there i mean i guess maybe they have not turned them been turned into but pr firms have turned them into these people that we now are interested in and care about what they're wearing what their hair look you know the same well the reason we the reason we go to a black pink concert you know five hours before to get a glimpse of somebody you know sound checking and see what their street clothes are wearing and you know post a guide of it online or something before you would have steve jobs wearing the same thing every day don't look at what i'm wearing it's a uniform i'm trying to divert attention away from it and now everyone is like okay you have to become like an avatar for this brand well the guy the other guy that came out on the stage was the guy his name is alexander wang not to be confused with your assaulter and he's you know he's like alexander wang has assaulted my eyes they he looks fucking stupid like he's wearing the stupidest you know he looks crazy and it's like on purpose it's like oh i'm wearing a camo shirt and fucking crocs he's dressed like diplo except he doesn't have a six-pack uh but he's you know he's like this guy he's like a genius or whatever from what i understand you know but it's like it's all it's so quirked up that you're right it's the opposite of Steve Jobs.
50:02It's gone in the other direction. It's not that he's wearing, his clothes aren't expensive. It's not like a flex, but it's just like, you're dressing like stupid so that people talk about it, I guess.
50:11Jason Stewart:I think those guys are dressing stupid simply because they can. The same way a rich person can wear whatever he wants to the club because he knows they're not going to turn him away. I bought the table so I can wear. I bought the table so I'm going to wear my real tree Crocs and a vintage T-shirt that reggie watts would wear or something like that and because i don't care about clothes and my other dick is big enough my fucking my coding dick and my portfolio and my ipo value speaks for itself so i'm gonna dress like it's a it's a crazy i mean it's okay and dress like that every other day of the week but when you know you're a graduation ceremony or a presentation or you're presenting or being given an award.
50:59When you're hitting the stage and all these people are salivating and you're talking about some shit that's going to make you a billion dollars, you can put on shoes with a leather sole. It's not a crazy ass to put on jeans. That's all.
51:11Jason Stewart:Or even you, Zuck, even though you're wearing expensive clothes, you could wear something where you took it in while your trillion-dollar company unveils its next technology. I think there's just something about like, I want to be approachable, but not, you know what it, like, I know what's nice and I'm, because I'm rich and I, I'm like, I can afford it all, but like, I don't want to be unapproachable. Yeah. I think, I think there's a lot of mental gymnastics that go into it. I don't think it's just like, I found this shirt on the floor vibe. I think it's very, very calculated because it's like an image thing like everyone else.
51:47But I just think that I, that's what I don't understand, but there's a different, this, the look out here. is so different than anywhere else that it's such an interesting time. Yeah. They're opening all the, all the designer stores are back. You know what I mean? Like there's all these, like a lot of them left during COVID and now this part of town is like, San Francisco, you mean? Yeah. Yeah. There's, you know, there's, there's a Goyard store. There's a Bottega store. You know, it's, it's all happening again because there's just so much money now at every level because of AI. And it's just sort of like, it doesn't help anybody dress better.
52:20I'll tell you that.
52:21Jason Stewart:Yeah. and I'm happy for SF that it's bouncing back because of AI and we can now buy go yard bags in a brick and mortar situation instead of ordering it online yeah I mean I think America is doing a good job at sort of the PR of it all because it seems like other countries where it's like here's our new thing and our goal is to you know drone bomb solutions or whatever it is you know zuck is doing the same thing and all these other tech people are doing the same thing but they're doing it with some really nice lueve shoes on and a t-shirt and just a chill watch i'm not wearing a bright thing i'm not dressed well the watch is the watch is chill but it's 200 grand of course i think that that that's the thing it's not yeah it's not uh ostentatious in size but it is but everyone from every other country who's doing this you know they look like you know an evil yeah that's true they look like dr evil or whatever yeah these guys look like gracie abrams like a north korean dictator's wife these guys look like they could work at kith and that is approachable in some ways yes there's a kith opening good yeah we love dude we're doing some dope stuff in ukraine right now kith is opening in san francisco too which i feel like is the ultimate i was like you know what that makes the most sense of anything i've ever i'm like god bless that is exactly who should be opening here kith is is more spiritually san francisco tech boom ai than than new york oh yeah definitely especially at this point and maybe always i mean that dude that fucking the jimmy fallon posting like him flipping through a kith book congratulating ronnie on all of his success is so i don't know why it made me laugh so hard it just it killed me like of course they know each other you know i don't know it just really made me laugh yeah i like the idea that somebody from kith's pr team was like all right we've got this book it's going to be a coffee table book about kith and we're going to bring it over to your house and we're going to make sure to blur the background with our focal plane and range of whatever and you're going to be acting like you're looking at a book and we're going to post this thing on your account and do you think that's just a favor for a friend or do you think i don't think it's a favor i don't think it's a favor at all i think he's truly like this is sick my homie put out this book i love kith and and fans of kith know that in 2024 jimmy found was the model for the kith tailor-made golf collab of course well i mean there's who hasn't graced the the hollowed halls of kith advertising if you're you know uh of course white a white older male legend that's kind of what they're that's that's his zone you know the jerry seinfeld's you know the de niro maybe de niro maybe scorsese i can't remember the top yeah only the top of the top only did you did you play with the little dongle tamagotchi friend no it's i no it was it was just like an announcement thing i i was just like from a business standpoint i was like this is this is what this to me is like a combination of la boo boo and the automars swatch collaboration where it's like you hang it from your bag and it looks like something and whether you ever use it or you don't it doesn't really matter.
55:39It's got a cute character on it. It's very timely and smart, I think. Right, right. The name Charm is really good. The name Charm is also really good, I think. And does Charm use Muse? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think you I think it's almost like a walkie-talkie.
55:55Jason Stewart:Does Charm use Muse? I think you like hit a button on the side and you talk to it. right otherwise it doesn't it's not picking up anything is my understanding well i mean it is picking up all of your data well that's the whole point of it yeah i mean i've already but i think i've entered my entire irs and credit history into muse already so i'm i'm don't worry about me take my data bitch but you know take my data you want to know my location boom you want to know what slurs i use when i'm inside of my car boom go for it you know what i mean you know you want to know when my heart rate has gone up or down or asleep or awake track it up but i think you can also have it you know be become your friend like in the movie her and it just oh definitely follows you around and you ask it questions and then eventually it starts asking you know what if we kissed yeah like your your little your little dongle starts saying chris what are we i mean i think it's because you can't fuck the dongle what do you do no no it'll it'll find you somebody you're gonna there's gonna be places where you get to dock you get to bring your tamagotchi and you put it in like the little iron man suit in the chest oh i see that body looks like john ham from 1998 or whatever you want it to be let's go okay suddenly you and pikachu get to fucking finally change positions god imagine say wow that was crazy and then your dongles like yeah and make sure you punch you know punch your card three more um ai fuck sessions and we get a free you know we get a i mean dude it's been it's been a it's been an interesting week it's been an interesting week but i think these people really do live in an interesting bubble that when you're from the outside you really do notice a lot of things that uh are different like i you know what i mean if you go to if i go to london or paris or la it's all very similar like there's the differences there's a cultural differences there's nuances obviously blah blah blah london paris but the vibe is kind of like oh i get this this is whatever these are my people i understand how this works this is a city cars go that way steering wheel here bing bang boom we got here i love i i love san francisco and i think the food's great i think it's it's a i hung out yesterday i went to the moma i went to some stores i had a great day i went to a new coffee shop called hedge that blew my mind but uh but it is like you're surrounded by people you don't really want to be around even at the coolest places you're sort of like what is this who are these people even even at their with their best offering it's like dc it's like when you go to dc and you go to the hottest restaurant and it's just like fat senators you're like well i don't really want to this is a hot restaurant but i don't really want to this is not these aren't my people and that's what's so interesting san francisco is one of america's greatest cities and it's on the rise because of this money but it's like at what at what cost you know what i mean there's not a lot of there's not graffiti writers doing fucking you know heroin and guys doing crazy fixie downhill hill there's no more merry pranksters no it's it's uh the tartine manufactory counterculture days are over things things are different but it's but it also but the fulsome street fairs today and there's going to be a bunch of guys in fucking you know latex dog masks walking down the street yeah i wonder how the ai of it all and the fulsome street fair of it all are going to intersect and what a coincidence that chris decides to land into sf oh yeah it's very similar to like you were mentioning dc before like whenever there's the you know the rnc convention and whatever you see you know grinder grinder crashes and then they're like when or like we're gonna throw the uh the porn award the avian awards in las vegas the same week as the consumer electronics you know like oh what a weird little coincidence that a bunch of rich people who get no pussy are gonna be here maybe we'll throw the porn convention at the same time and we can all just this is perfect for me because the thing about the the fulsom i could just put on my mask no one knows it's me you know if the latex latex is long sleeve chipotle meat mayo boom tats are covered we're good i'm i'm straight i can not i'm not straight actually i mean i can do i can do whatever i want out there on the streets because for our listeners who don't know fulsome street fair it's like a classic san francisco leather daddy festival that happens annually and it's like a crazy thing because they have always and still i think still now are they go full nude like full sex in the street like that still goes on right i i don't know and i'm not lying i know you think i'm lying but i actually don't know i really don't know i'm not i'm not this is not a gotcha podcast just to be clear but last time i checked you know a friend of the show rostam i'm sure he he has been many times and he's talked to me about it but you know you see photos and it's just you know another beautiful sunday morning in san francisco and we're gonna go walk to the park and then you know a grandpa is being dragged on a leash it's also middle of the day it's fucking him in the ass at 10 18 a.m i'm trying to go get some figs from whatever the organic market is and i'm trying to get the last of the sunburst figs and a guy has a fishing weight attached to the tip of his dick and he's trying to see how long he could pull it down before it starts bleeding.
1:01:24That's right. But that's what's so interesting about this place is that is the history and the new stuff is a guy with a mullet wearing Crocs who's worth a billion dollars. And somehow these things do coexist and it seems sort of okay.
1:01:39Jason Stewart:Well, I think in a horseshoe theory kind of way, All these AI losers wearing, you know, Realtree sweatpants and Crocs and vintage tees from 2007, that kind of sexless, funless, passion-free hustle, you know, whatever aesthetic that's going on over there. they're so sort of sexually frustrated and just not even sexualized at all so their their fetish their deep you know restricted weird sexual energy might coincide with you know bdsm leather daddy performative things so there's probably so many people you know in get masks walking around just feeling so free before they have to go back to their sales force job tomorrow that's that's you're not wrong that's not a bad that's not a bad theory that's not something um and shout out i mentioned earlier about our friend of the show pedro he opened up uh thickman's tavern in in la did you go last night went last night yeah nice how well and sean did you get some you get some wings got some wings had the had the thick the thickums burger the thicky burger they got a veggie option for me maybe i'm not sure but the the wings were hitting they were they were a good size sometimes the wing is too small sometimes too big this wing was good got the lemon pepper hot got some barbecue ranch was nice and kind of dilly i don't know if there's a blue cheese situation but he did a really good job with it it's a fun place just a nice cool room it's like if houston's had seven tvs the size of a hummer hanging from every corner of the room and every sports game is playing there's you know ig baddies of all kinds up in there and one thing pedro is gonna do is if pedro opens something ig baddies are gonna be there that's the that's the one guarantee the wings are good that's a bonus the but i i can't wait to go i love that i love the name if your dad is you know is an agent somewhere or a producer somewhere and you need to spend some money hit up pedro yeah it's please he'll expand that sounds that sounds great though i'm happy because i feel like it's been sort of like there and ready for like six months and nike did like a buyout for the world cup or whatever so for it to act i've heard about from tim for a while so i'm glad it's actually open you know the the gears the gears of legislation and all in business and alcohol licenses and food service shit go slowly everywhere in the world but in los angeles it's a special kind of hell but it's on fairfax it's on fairfax fairfax right across from supreme and you know yeah maybe hopefully once karen bass is out of here neithia is gonna get those things moving a little quicker yeah we'll see um but yeah it used it used to be the original largo and then it became no name and my brother is that space okay it's that's where you had your uh we had some special dinners there over the years a lot of special a lot of special because because the chef there jared he was he was vegan so the whole time he was the chef at this like restaurant where jay-z came jay-z and beyonce would come in all the time because they loved this guy's fried chicken meanwhile this is like a tatted up like head to toe like full vegan warrior guy and he just has like a really good spice blend for his fried chicken and it would go loco but um the crazy part but the best part he wants to have like sports memorabilia up on the walls but you know everyone wants to do it in the kind of the cool interesting way you know i'm not gonna just have the same old shit i have like behind glass like uh like one of the queen's gowns the uh the wedding dress that dennis rodman wore dude what behind glass like hung up on the ceiling like it's the shroud of toronto that's that's so awesome because i know that that probably was more expensive than it should have been oh yeah but but that is a that is that's that is truly awesome that is how that's the perfect piece of sports memorabilia for a place like that yeah he said that he's tracking down i forgot the player but there was a player who was was playing basketball with um the house arrest anklet on he said he's like i know a guy who has it and i'm actively working on trying to find that dude he's gonna get the aaron hernandez signed jersey and they just keep it like dude that's so funny that's so funny so yeah he's you know he's collecting special yeah let's see here um Kentavious Caldwell Pope famously played NBA games for the Lakers in 2017 while wearing a ankle monitor under his work release program that's really fucking funny that's really really good yeah I mean he'll have that I'm sure he's gonna get OJ's bloody glove next no question all the other interesting esoteric no question memorabilia no question all right next next episode we got to talk about this Taylor Swift shit it's crazy bro where do we start I mean some of these lyrics are it's it's just unbelievable that this is an adult woman i i believe that it's it's trolling on the highest level that's where my head is that's where i'm at now that's all we can think of and hope for but i'd like to think that he is affecting her lyrical content and he's making her i'm hearing yeah the joke was she's the first person to ever get cte sexually transmitted which is really funny i mean it is you know we we shan't we shan't just about uh uh terminal head injuries but well sometimes when it when it works it works i think even if you have cte you're gonna be like yeah that's a good one yeah that's a good yeah write a song write a song about cleveland as much as i want to go to ohio you know i still if you have cte you're like wow that's really offensive and i just forgot it so it's all good just nothing could ever offend me that's the beauty of ct that's really fucked up what's fucked up i don't know what i don't remember who are you again i'm about to go to football practice right now i'm gonna get fucking creamed aren't i wear look just wear your helmet wear your pads how long gone howlonggone.com is
