In short
The guys riff on energy drinks and pre-workouts (including “psychotic”/“I am God” style products), then pivot to sleep, nightmares, lucid dreaming, meditation/sound baths, and whether “energy” or vibes are real. They also discuss old competitive dance movies and video games, plus show logistics and sponsors.
Guests
No guests appear in the transcript; it’s a two-host conversation (Joe Santagato and Frank).
Guest backgrounds (from context)
Joe Santagato is a comedian/podcast host; Frank is his co-host and fellow comedian. Both reference touring/live shows, gaming, and personal fitness/sleep experiences.
Key claims
Old pre-workouts from the 2010s felt close to drugs and could cause “deity/psychosis” sensations. Hydration improves sleep quality and may increase vivid dreams. Meditation/sound baths may help, but “energy” is framed as partly mindset and partly observable social impact. The “mummified monk” practice is discussed as possibly reaching nirvana, though it’s questioned as effectively dying.
Notable examples
“The Curse” pre-workout; “C4,” “Psychotic,” “Bulge,” “Ejacumax,” “Gorilla Mode.” Lucid dream involving a spider and repeatedly smashing a chair. Nightmares involving needles and Sum 41. Mention of Soku Shinbutsu (mummified monk) and sound baths.

0:06Welcome back to the basement yard. What are you doing with your fingers? I don't know. I had one of those energy drinks and now I feel like I'm moving faster than ever. Go real fast. Run in your seat really fast. No, run, run, run, run, run. I know that's not how you run. Whoa, dude. What's going on? I just got lightheaded. Please don't go down. You don't think... You passed out doing a fake run during the podcast. That shows how shitty my shape is. My shape? My shape, not in shape. My shape is bad. My shape is not in. Can't run too far. My shape is off. I'm misshaping. You don't do that? When you're really energetic, you feel like you're moving faster than ever?
0:49I feel like I could feel all my hair. Oh. When I drink an energy drink, I feel like I could feel all the hair on my body. I feel like I could feel like I could shoot lightning out of my fingers. I get that, too. And I also do a lot of this. I do you know what that's weird I do this and I crack my my fingers crack sometimes I do it I'll just go like I become very aware of my arms and I'm like I can move them I I just get like I get like really like I can feel my I can feel my eyebrows sometimes and I'm just like yo what like you ever become very aware I hear my blinks that fucks me up what you don't hear your blinks sometimes?
1:28I don't know. When you blink, you're just like... It goes like... Not like I'm a fucking shy guy. Yeah. What does that mean? It's a thing for us. Oh, shy guy. Yeah. Yeah. Oh. That sounded like Yoshi. No. It did. That's Yoshi, baby. That's pretty good. Wow, you just got them all in there. I mean, I have kids. I do this regularly. You just do a show? You will too when you have children. They'll be like, daddy, daddy, pick me up out of my bed made of solid gold and do a fucking impression. And you're going to be like, all right, I could do an impression of Rick Rubin because that's the book you're reading at the time.
2:08The fact that you know Rick Rubin's name is fascinating to me. He was a music guy, right? Kind of, yeah. Yeah. Long white beard? Yep. Yeah, I know. Yeah. How was the fastest you could do this? What? Go as fast as you could go. No, just two fingers. Ready? Stop. Ready? Hold on, slow down. Why do I have to stop? I'm doing it. I'm saying I want to see how fast you can just one how fast you can go go as fast as you can go ready I don't know which one I'm better at this one ready no this one set go This is nothing dude that's slow as fuck
2:40Hope you're all entertained uh you're not even doing it you're not even kicking your feet there Like switching yeah well that was pretty good yeah I don't know I wish they made bigger chairs I'm sorry I gotta stop yeah yeah The energy drink is going crazy. Anyway, before we start this episode, which, I mean, we've already done, just wanted to let everyone know, if you are coming to the shows this year, we're doing a very fun segment where we are going to allow everyone in the audience to peg Joey.
3:12That'd be pretty difficult to set up.
3:18Nobody loves you more than you. Nobody loves you more than you. You're goddamn right. Yeah, it's just it's just self-love is the best love. Yeah, it's not. We have this segment in the new show where you guys can submit photos for us. So last year we had the cards and that was like the people in the crowd submitted those cards. So if you're coming to a show, you can go to the basement yard dot com slash submit and you will see this landing page. So there's a drop down menu where it can show you which show you're attending. You put in that show. Then you upload a photo. It can be of pretty much anything.
3:51It could be like an embarrassing moment or a funny thing or just the craziest thing that you have in your camera roll within reason here. And you submit it and then we can put those things up on the we're going to put them up on the screen. Yeah. So it's going to be all things. All the things that we put on the screen are going to be from people at the show that night. So go to thebasementyard.com slash submit submit your crazy photos and yeah, maybe you'll be on the big screen at the show There were some of those shows where those cards were so incredibly memorable and just out of fucking Left field insane.
4:30Yeah, I can only imagine what these pictures are gonna be I know if you could if you do you have a picture you could think of that you would submit for this that just needs context But has none I'd have to go through You'd have to go through And find something good The annals of Joe Sanagato's old pictures I'd have to go all Yeah I'd have to go back In my camera roll And find something There are some that I have I've You save like every photo Don't you? Oh I don't know about every I have a lot going back Don't you have like a laptop That has like Thousands of photos I honestly haven't checked it in years And I don't know if it's like One of those things that like I need to save Or like they just dissipate Into the fucking The cloud or whatever Maybe it's not you That I'm thinking of It might not be but there are i have pictures of like because i was the one like i said when we do vegas trips i was the one that had that life proof case yeah so like i would bring my phone everywhere and people would just take my phone and take pictures and stuff like that yeah it was it was a fun time it was an interesting time yeah so we're gonna find out about these people in the crowd but again this is what it looks like go to the basement.com slash slash submit send those photos in for each of the cities that you're going to be at.
5:40Yeah, that'll be fun. Also, there's an option to tell the story behind the photo, and you can put your name or you don't have to put your name, whatever it is. I think I'm going to submit one and see if I can slide it by. If I can get it by whoever's going to be reviewing this. Let's hope it's Greg, because if it's you, you're going to be a sick freak with it. I would be good. Why are you talking like that? I couldn't think of the words. It would be good. I've had a, it's, it's, you know, we're chilling. I've also had one. So the words, the brain's going faster than the mouth. Okay. I love when that happens.
6:12Well, yeah. No, your mouth goes before your brain for sure. Sometimes. I can just tell that sometimes you start talking and then you start looking around the room and I'm like, oh, he's looking for the rest of it. What is that? All the time. Maybe when we record, but I'm a very well-spoken and and it fucking I compile my thought in I compile my thoughts. Well, no Yes, I do what the hell does that mean? No, I'm talking about when we're recording. Oh, yeah No, no when I'm recording it you just let it rip. Yeah, well, and then we have to figure out what we're doing here You know that does happen sometimes if not a lot of it, you know What so what?
6:56I don't need this I don't need the whole... So what? I'm whimsical. And there used to be companies that would... Wow. Clock you. See what he's doing. I just know. I just know. You're attacking me, honestly. This is becoming a form of... A full-blown attack? Assault. We're assault? You're assaulting me. Speaking of assault, that was the name of the brand that I... Like the pre-workout that made me feel all my hair. Brother, if you in the early to mid-2010s wanted to have a successful pre-workout, you needed to name it something that sounded like a crime. Yeah, that would make a conservative just like get horny.
7:30It'd be like blood fire. And you're like, oh. Welcome. It's called chimpanzee cum. You know, just like. No. First place your mind went? Because I was on a different vibe there. I was thinking more like. Dragon cum. That's a better one. I wasn't thinking cum. The chimpanzee wasn't the problem, Frank. I was thinking more like bullets and guns and fire and explosives. Well, the first one I remember was C4, which lines up with your explosion. And I remember taking it and like – They still have it. I know, but it's not what it used to be. Oh, I don't know that. It's not – I mean, I took a pre-workout like a couple years ago and I was like, okay, I feel like I've been pre-worked.
8:12But like – but like it's nowhere near what it used to be in like 2013. Now imagine just a full April bang. Well, I think a lot of those old pre-workouts got in trouble because they had some shit that's like, this is pretty much methamphetamine. Yeah. Like, they're as close as it could legally be to methamphetamines without getting arrested. What a crazy concept, man. I remember I had one called The Curse. The Curse? Yeah. What, did it have, like, a fucking niche on it? I think it still exists. It just had a skull with, like, eyes. Like, bright red eyes. The curse pre-workout There it is Oh my god Is it still there?
8:59Yeah brother That's what you bought? Yeah that shit it's still around I'm not kidding you would be able To count the amount of times that your dick Is fucking puckered This made you feel every part of your body I'm not gonna lie sometimes You feel your dick? I can feel it Like living Like yeah I can feel my wiener living Yes I'm like yo is it breathing right now? I don't know what it was, but like there was a point when I was like a teenager where like I had like it was brain and dick That's all that mattered on my body and I like knew like I had like a Like I was in step and lockstep with it.
9:36I knew what it was gonna do I had a summer like that with my nipples where like I knew I could feel my nipples at all times now I just have nipples. I don't even think it's like confused. You look confused You've never been in tune with one part of your body for Your fucking giant fucking balls and shit It would take you four hours to get a thought From your nerve endings to your balls You guys are locked in I'm here for the ride I'm telling you these old pre-workouts The curse is crazy I know there's other ones that are like It's called like you know Assault and Battery Insane Veins Woke AF No disrespect that sucks Yeah that's terrible Woke AF pre-workout Oh god what are we doing?
10:19Find some other ones You gotta go Just type in like pre-workout Insane pre-workouts Yeah like Yeah yeah Because there are some that just like I'm telling you they were the closest to drugs that I've Just one called just motherfucker It's like yo take this It's called motherfucker Bulge? Bulge! Wait scroll down we gotta see these Hold on wait wait wait Pimp blast No, no, no. No, no, I mean we need - These aren't like, hold on, we need a better - You need - you need to - Just go to images. Go to images. Go to images and we'll see. Okay, so what do we have? Chad mode. This one's called psychotic.
10:59First of all, that one says I am God.
11:07Insane labs with a Z. I am God. I am God. That is fucking awesome. Apple flavored. Adam and Eve. Ooh. You know what I mean? That's a good one. Yes, psychotic. Look at the other one. Ejacumax. Ejacumax. Ejacumax. Ejacumax. And it would be maximum male support. I don't know if that's real. Oh, wait. This isn't for - That might be a dick pill. Yeah, that is. This is for bigger explosions. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. How does that even - what is it? Just put gunpowder behind your jizz? No, no, no. No, no. Pow! Fucking - I mean, hey. Alright, let's take a look at the other one. Can we scroll down here?
11:46Yeah, yeah. We got a C4. Edge of insanity. That's what a lot of them are. Psychotic. Like, they are trying to show you that, like, taking this is going to put you in a state of psychosis so you can work out better. Bulge is so good. This one's called hashtag not for pussy. Not for pussies or just not for pussy? Just not for pussy. Oh, okay. If that's real, that all the way sucks, dude. That's so bad. And it's funny because these are the worst people in the world taking these, a.k.a. 2013 prank. Okay, that just says pre-com. That says what? That says pre-con. That can't be real, dude. I don't know if that one's...
12:17That can't be real. I can't be real. Bulge. There's Bulge. Demon Dust. Yeah, baby. Gorilla Mode. Madness. I love it. Because you know what's crazy? Is you take it and you do feel like this stuff. Motherbucker! Yeah, baby. That would make sense. That does. Wait, what does that say? Does that say what, Daddy? Pump. Pump Daddy? Pump Daddy. Volume 2. V2, dude. Volume 2. Oh, okay. Pum Daddy Volume 2. V2. I'm telling you right now, the worst person, next time you go to the gym, the worst person there that's taking this is going to see you and beat you with a fucking lead pipe. Just type in funny pre-workout names.
12:54Let's narrow it down. I mean, are we not seeing them? No, we are, but I feel like... Bucked up. Christopher's Juicy Pumps? Yes. That's insane. Specified who made it. I think the insane ones and funny ones are one and the same here. Spit pre-workout in my mouth. No. I can't believe I am God. Bulge is unbelievable. But I got to say, you do – like the closest I've ever had to like a psychotic break where I feel like I am a deity is when I've taken an old school pre-workout. Yeah. Well, also when you're on pre-workout and then – or any sort of caffeine, at least for me because I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine.
13:35and then I am doing a workout, if I'm not breathing properly, and then I finish my set, I'm kind of like, and like my whole world is closing in. Gunk, gunk, gunk. Like it feels like, you know when you play like Call of Duty and like you're playing the first person shooter and you get shot and it's like, you're almost near it. Boom, boom, boom. You're almost near it. That's what it feels like when you take these things. Yo, the other day I went for a run and then it felt like, like I had like a headache. I was like dehydrated. but I went for a run and I was like I felt my it felt like only the top half of my head was pounding and I could feel it moving I'm not kidding I've had headaches where I'm like I feel like mega mind like I feel like my head is getting bigger to the point where it's gonna fucking erupt that shit is scary so I took my hat off let me let my big head breathe do I have a big head?
14:28do I have a normal head or a big head? do I have a big nose? If anything, no. I think you're pretty normal-like. I guess your head's a little big. It's a little big? Sometimes I feel like... But you have a smaller head than I do. I got a big neck. I know that. Here, put this on. This is a fitted, so it'll tell you if it's smaller than my head. What size is this? 7 3 8ths. That's a good size. Yeah. I think you have a normal... You have more hair than me, though. Yo. Has your TikTok been giving you what it's been giving me? That's not how that works. Has your... The 4U page? You know, sometimes I think because I got a TikTok the other day and it was like this guy going through the comfiest shoes.
15:07And then I saw you posted the shoes and I was going to buy the shoes. The like Nike Vimo premiums or something like that. The Vimero. Yeah, I was going to buy them because it was like these are the comfiest shoes in the world. And then I saw you wearing them. I was like, well, now I can't. Have you seen? I don't know if your TikTok algorithm has brought you here to hat toss and queen. No. I'll try. It's just like people that live in like upstate, not even upstate New York. It's like Yonkers. Okay. And it's just like a guy who like does a hat toss and catches it and his girlfriend and they're just dancing.
15:42I honestly am a big fan of that. They look like they have a modern love story. I don't know. I love when people like are doing the like getting light and then they have the hat and they like put it on their elbow and they catch it with their knee. I'm like, yo. You know what we need to watch, which we haven't watched, and I'm saying we as a collective we. when's the last time we watched You Got Served? Or like any of those mid-2000s like competitive dance movies. You Got Served, Stomp the Yard. Yo, when I, the first time I watched Stomp the Yard I'm like this is what I want to do with my life.
16:15When I heard that I almost put a fucking hole in my bedroom floor after I watched Stomp the Yard because I was in my room just like Oh yeah! I wanted to be Columbus Short. I was like yo this guy's a man. Honestly, that's a good... Dude had it going. Yeah, he was cool. Good looking dude. He can dance well. Back flipping and shit. Yeah, bro. Mad back flip. Didn't Chris Brown get shot in the first five seconds? Spoiler alert. Oh, shit. Yeah. I mean, the movie's 400 years old. It is probably 20 years old, but... I loved that movie. Yo, that movie... You Got Served is great, too. But, like, yo, when I heard You Got Served, I was like, this might be the single greatest cinematic experience that might have ever existed.
16:55That is a very true... Well, I was like 14 at the time. It came out and I'm just like, you're seeing Omarion and fucking Marquise Houston. I'm pretty sure that's who's in it. Yeah. Like get mad at this white dude with cornrows and a fucking, not even a bandana, a headband. And I was like, yeah, fuck this guy. Yeah. And they're just doing like the floating thing. And I'm like, yo, how do they do that? Steve Harvey's like, now we're going to take it to the streets. Yeah. Maybe don't do a Steve Harvey impression, Joey. Why? I don't know if that's going to, you know. Sit on it. Sit on it. The dude, it was...
17:29Oh, Lil' Kim's in that! Oh yeah, she is like the judge at the end, right? I remember her being very oiled up in that movie. She was oiled. I don't want to speak ill of Lil' Kim. Who's speaking ill? I'm saying she was oiled. I was going to go into why would this person be oiled. I don't know. She was oiled up. Was she? Yeah. Can you... I can't search Lil' Kim oiled up. No, no, no. I would never ask you to look that up. I will tell you that right now. Shout out to Lil' Kim. It was like the song at the end of it. No, it was Pump It Up by Joe Budden. There was another one, too. That's a great song.
18:04Pump It Up by Joe Budden. Yeah. I think, wasn't... Remember Lil' Saint? Wasn't Freeway in there, too? The Freeway song, yeah. Clap for my money. Oh, clap for my money. Just Blaze. Oh, no. Yeah. Just Blaze on the beat. What was the... What was the... God. There's another... There's all it takes to make the fight get louder. Yo, you know what game I bought recently? Def Jam Fight for New York For those who don't know Def Jam Fight for New York is a video game Where you just fight as rappers Like 50 Cent's fight and ludicrous Yes I don't think 50 Cent was in it Because he wasn't signed to Def Jam Records But it's like Fat Joe It was like you could be Exhibit And you could have a four-way match With Lil' Kim, Snoop Dogg, and Fat Joe And you would just fight each other Yo, this game was incredible The roster was out of control It was like Ja Rule Method Man Red Man was in it.
18:57Then they had like random people like fucking, I think like Sean Paul was in it. Slick Rick. Hell yeah. But yo, this game has become like a collector's item. Really? How much do you think I paid for this game? Oh, you bought it recently? 18 bucks. 14. Am I hot or cold? Cold, brother. I'm freezing? Yeah. $62. 150 bucks. Why did you do that? You really wanted it? I saw it and I said I want to have it I would like this so I'm going to pay$150 for it Dude, a good game, dude Did you play it? I have yet to pop it in and play it Because I'm in the middle of playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 Who are? What?
19:42Come over, dude Is that the Goldfinger one? That's the one Here I am I learned everything I have No, it's the one where I'm in the middle of playing Need for Speed Underground 2 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. Yeah, dude. It's electric in the Alvarez household. That's crazy. Yeah. You're playing games from like 2008. So what? It's amazing. 2004, who's counting? Oh. You know, it'll be like, you know, those games have not aged well. If we could, you know. Because it's like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 will be like, the challenge is get the secret tapes, grind this rail near this dirty fucking hobo. You know, just like shit like that.
20:25It's like grind the rail and fuck up this hobo's cart. It's not nice, dude. It'll be like do a fucking fakey Ollie with Bam Margera and absolutely ruin this homeless person. But those games... I'd go, oh, God, fucking spin around!
21:42Fucking do this! No, I loved... Do you remember... Not only did I love the game Burnout... Someone's fucking... Not only did I love the game Burnout... You remember Burnout? Where it was like the whole idea was that you had to make your car crash in the craziest way? Do you remember Keith was like... Could have gone pro if that was like a competitive game? That sounds like a Keith game. It was like Burnout 3, takedown. And Keith would be like, if I hit this car at this angle and he would make like a$50 million crash or some shit. Oh my god, that sounds so vaguely familiar. You definitely remember these games.
22:11Wow. But, yeah, I wish if you could be in a video game. Oh my god, yes! Yeah, dude, these games are sick. That's so weird that you remember that. Well, it's because I have it. You have Burnout? I don't have Burnout. I have all the other ones, but I can go get Burnout if you want it. What was the one? Vigilante? Was that a... Vigilante? Yeah. I don't know which one. I mean, I'm sure there's a game called Vigilante. But there was like two crime streets of LA. Yes. There was that. There were, you know, like the Hitman games. Wait, what else have you bought? It's random. It's games that we had growing up.
22:50I have two towers. I remember I... Yeah, that game's fantastic. I remember I took a game from you once. Turok. Turok Evolution, I have it. You're killing dinosaurs with bow and arrows. Bro, I still remember the, like, to unlock all the cheat codes code. To Turok? Yeah. FMNFB. It means nothing to anyone. But, like, you could, like, it was, like, turn on big head mode, and you shot a gun that had, like, bugs in it, and it, like, popped their heads and shit like that. Good game, man. Good game. Do you know any of these? I know Turok. Okay. And you played Twisted Metal? Four hours at a time. Bro, Twisted Metal 2 was one of the best cinematic gaming experiences I've ever had in my entire life.
23:37Where you knock down the thing. Besides. The cinematic experience was fucking. Yeah. What was it? I don't even remember. You got served. Oh, you got served. Video game is Twisted Metal 2. Yeah. When you break the Eiffel Tower and it leads you to another part of the level. Nothing made me happier than Twisted Metal at a certain point in my life. It was everything I cared about. It was so good. Yo, the show is good. Have you watched the show? No. Yo, the show is fun as hell. Yeah? Anthony Mackie. Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz. Who does he play? Anthony Mackie. He just plays like a dude. I don't remember if he plays.
24:14I think he ends up playing one of the characters from the games. But Sweet Tooth is in it. Damn. Yeah. I used to get nightmares from that shit. When was the last time you had a nightmare? A couple days ago. You had a nightmare? Yeah. I couldn't sleep. Oddly enough, it was after I finally watched Obsession. Oh. But I didn't It was like someone I woke up like Like out of the movies Someone broke into my house and was injecting me with needles Like plugging me with needles Oh like You woke up to them like And they were listening to Sum 41 That's what I remember Sum 41 Sounds like a nightmare to me Yeah Do you have nightmares?
Read the full transcript
24:58I don't Were you a big nightmare kid when you were younger? Like your parents always had to be like. Yeah, you definitely were. Mommy, daddy, let me sleep in your bed. No, I don't think so. I'll be honest. I love sleeping in the bed with my mom. That's fair. I love it. You want to know where as a kid I used to go? My parents, for some reason, our parents' generation, it was like a thing to have like a bench at the end of your bed. Yeah, they loved that. What the fuck was that? I don't know. Well, I remember I used to sleep underneath the bench. And like that was where I felt. Like a cat? Yeah.
25:28This kid would sleep like a cat What if they stepped on you What are they going to step on the bench Would you like hide They wouldn't know Yeah they'd wake up and they'd be like What the fuck is this kid doing under here Did you ever hear anything Definitely not in my parents house If I heard anything it was just like I'll sign the papers
25:51Definitely not in my house 100 % no When's the last time you had a A nightmare? I think I had one the other night. And when I have nightmares, isn't it funny to say nightmares? We're adults. Yeah, like. Bad dream. It's even worse than bad dream. Is there a difference between a bad dream and a nightmare? A nightmare sounds way worse. Definitely. I think it's the severity of it. A bad dream could be anything. Nightmares is like it haunts you. Yeah. Whenever I have bad dreams, they always involve Keith in some capacity. Okay. And I'm just like, I don't know. Like, it makes me sad, I guess. Do you subscribe to, like, there are people that believe, like, if you eat certain things before bed, you'll get, like, more vivid or lucid dreams?
26:32Um, I don't. I mean, maybe that's true. Not in my experience. Like, I know, like, chocolate was one of those. It's like you eat chocolate, then you have, like, weird dreams or something. But, like, I have done that, and I don't think that, like, really lines up with my experience. However, I think that if I'm, I think I sleep a lot better when I am really hydrated when I go to sleep. Oh, that's worse for me because I'm going to get up twice to piss. Well, that's the thing is like you do get up, but I also feel like I have vivid dreams because I'm sleeping hard. Really? I don't know why. So you sleep better when you are well hydrated?
27:04I guess. Okay, that's interesting. You ever lucid dream? Yes. I mean, I told a story that I had a lucid dream that his brother-in-law, our friend Danny growing up, I was in my apartment. Two apartments ago, I was in my apartment, and I realized like, oh, I'm in a dream. because I walked out. It was my actual apartment at the time. And I walked out and I saw a giant spider on the windowsill, like in the kitchen. And I was like, oh, this is a dream. And then I turn around and her name's Christine. And she came walking out of one of the rooms and I look at her and I'm like, this is a dream. It's not been real.
27:40So I picked up a chair and I held it over my head and I slammed it over her head, but it bounced like they were both made of rubber. So I just kept slamming the chair over her head. Okay. And then I woke up. I swear to God. I immediately texted her and I was like, I fucking knocked you over the head with a chair the other day. I've lucid dreamed like a couple times and I can't get the flying down. I wasn't flying. Those are like the dreams that I get where it's like I can fly at will. Yeah. But like, it never gets to the point where I'm just like, what the fuck? Like where I would consider it like lucid.
28:15Like they don't ever really get really, really weird, but I also forget about them like five seconds after waking up. Yeah. That's my. It's because they say if when you realize that you're lucid dreaming, you're not really supposed to do anything that'll get your heart rate too high because then it'll bring you out of it. Really? Because I was having a workout beating her over the head of the chair. You were really going. So that's impressive. To be fair, it was short. I probably could have kept going and done other stuff. But see, sometimes I wear my Apple Watch to sleep and I don't, like it doesn't like spike the times that I've had dreams.
28:43So like I guess they're not as lucid as. If anything, I think it would be like low because you're like not moving and you're so deep in a sleep. You're talking about getting your heart rate up and shit like that when you're dreaming. I'm pretty. Well, because, you know, I wonder if I'm like a dog. Like, if you have a dream, you're like, huh? What? No. Probably. Oh, brother, I for sure. You talk? Not talk. You moan. Why is that the next place you go? Well, just like make noises. Like, hey. Oh, like a puppy. Yeah. It's like, oh, he's dreaming of catching a bone. Well, you're not going to be there like, hey.
29:11Hey. Well, apparently you are. What the hell? One, two, three. One, two, three. That I can't even explain. I don't know. No, I think – I know that I have, like – I believe they call them sleep spindles. It's like as you're approaching – like as you're falling asleep, I'll be like, and I'll just jump. I'll do that. I hate that, bro. I do it, and Becca will get, like, sometimes, like, freaked out because she'll be like, what? And I'm just like – yesterday, last night we were watching – because I was exhausted by the end of the day, and we're watching Breaking Bad, and I'm falling asleep. She's like, you're falling asleep.
29:44And I'm like, no, I'm not. I don't know why I get so mad. Don't accuse me of falling asleep when I'm asleep. I'm literally awake. But like I realize it after. It gets to the point where like after I've done it, I'm just like, well, I have to. I can't admit I was wrong. I have to like double down on like, no, I wasn't. But like I'm not like I'm not me when that happens. It's not like a different person. It's a different person entirely. Yeah. You know, and it's there's nothing I could do. Sleep Frankie takes over. That in between, you're a different person. And you get so angry when people are like, hey, like if I fall asleep on the couch or something, like me and Nicole are watching something, she'll be like, why don't we just like go into the bed?
30:23I'm like, for what? We're sitting out here having a good time. And I'm like, out. Yeah, Becca said. She's like, you've been asleep for 20 minutes, dumbass. She'll be like, you just snored. I'm like, no, what do you, like, what do you even fucking mean? You just snored. My throat is itchy. Yeah. What do you mean? But there are hard times where I've snored awake. So that is like my only defense. I've done that too, where I like, I don't know if it's a snore or whatever it is, but I'm like, and then if Nicole's up, I'm like, that was me. She's like, yeah. Well, there, we, on two occasions, Becca and I have gotten like couples massages.
30:57And she's like, were you sleeping? Because you were snoring. And I was like, no, I was fully awake. I was just so relaxed. Massages, I don't know if I fall asleep or not. To be fair. I just, I can't conceptualize the fact that I've sat there without stimulation for an hour. You know what I mean? Like. What do you mean? Because it seems to go by so quickly, but I've been awake the whole time. But I guess I was in such a state of like euphoria that I'm like, you know, like I snore, but I'm fully aware. You're doing it now. Yeah. He's defending himself. But I don't think I'm asleep. No, I do think that it puts you in this, like, purgatory of sleep.
31:37It's like that. You ever see that thing where it's like that monk reached the state of nirvana and they haven't aged and they've been sitting for, like, 80 years? No. What? You definitely have seen that. A monk, like, is not moving? Yeah. Look it up. What? It's like a mummified monk. Mummified? Dude, they reached a state of euphoria where they lowered their fucking heart rate or something, and they're just not aging. And it was like... Before we get to that, I do have some... I think it's monk acid. I don't know what a monk acid food is. What do you want me to do? Okay, we do have some sponsors.

38:31That's an example of my mouth getting the best of me there. I said it and I will stop doing that because I know after Joey's going to be like, stop telling people I'm going to show my asshole on this show. And I'm going to say, I'm sorry. I will stop saying that Joe Santagato is going to show his asshole. Okay. This monk... I couldn't really find at all what he was talking about. Go ahead. Why don't you try and pronounce that for us? I was going to say Soku Shinbutsu. That was pretty good. I can't believe you said that about my mom. I just found a Japanese Buddhist practice where the monks would indeed mummify themselves to try to reach nirvana.
39:11That's what I'm talking about. But this is a... It's a practice, but people... But you're describing a one... I've seen... I guess that maybe I saw an example of this practice. So, what is this? They mummify themselves, which requires... So they would like diet and then they would mummify themselves over a process of like a thousand days. So they would like get in a position, be like encased, have a little breathing tube and then a little bell. And after a while, the bell would stop ringing. And that's when everyone thought that, OK, they've reached nirvana. And then they would take out them out of the tomb.
39:44I guess it's possible. We don't know for sure. Sounds like they just died. It sounds like a thousand days, brother. They would have died well before that. That's true. but apparently that's how they reached nirvana so maybe it worked i don't know if i put a human being in a box and gave him a straw to breathe and they made it a thousand days i mean that's outrageous bro that's three years yeah that's insane i don't think that's that can't you can't live without water and food more than like five days or something like the monks are so there's there's a um i actually don't know what qualifies as a monk but there is a man that i believe uh identifies as a monk and i saw videos of him and he was like so well spoken and the stuff that he's saying felt like it was like unlocking things in my brain and i'm like how are they getting there how are they getting maybe that's it maybe maybe it's they gotta put myself in a box i mean maybe i don't know i i don't know i don't want to speak on do you meditate i don't but i heard that that's a thing that a lot have you ever done it maybe in like fourth grade for like 30 seconds or something like that.
40:55You meditated in fourth grade? Everyone like used to do that where they'd like sit crisscross applesauce and they'd go like this and they would say like hum or something like that. Right. I mean, that clearly is like a... That's what I'm saying. Right. It's racist. Anyway. Is it? I don't know. Oh, if it is, I severely apologize. I don't think that's meditating. You're like... Well, I heard, aren't there a bunch of comedians that do like mini meditation and shit like that? Huh? I think Jerry Seinfeld is a big one. Does he meditations? I think it's like he does like the process of like mini meditation or something like that.
41:28I don't even fucking know. We had a giant argument about this. Danny says that he meditates during Call of Duty. I mean, I would, you know what? Look up the definition of meditation because if it's just a place and whatever helps you get to that place, is it possible? I will say I downloaded an app once that does guided meditation it's like a very popular one um and it it there is like I definitely believe in it like I definitely believe that it's helpful to like especially because I think that we're just overly simulated screens yeah and whatever your eyes are always darting to have nothing and just kind of sit there and it like plays music and it's sort of like guiding and like guides your breath afterwards, you're like, that is lovely.
42:16Oh, yeah. I mean, I'm sure I need it. Like, I'm sure I would benefit. But it says here it's a set of techniques used to focus attention, quiet the mind, and enhance overall well-being. I mean, it's just – That doesn't sound like killing people in callitude. Yeah, I don't get it. But like what's the difference between meditating and being locked in? You know what I mean? like is that not like people like get so locked into something that they reach i'm sure a state of meditation and they're able to just kind of do the thing well i guess i i i am not i have not tried it i probably would benefit from it but there are a lot of people that openly like and especially comedians say that they like do like mini meditation stuff like that have you do you meditate have you done it no i i'll try to like clear my mind i guess but how just like trying to like stop thinking please i'll just try to do something like that just sounds like anxiety stop thinking please stop thinking of things something like that the apple watch has like a thing where it's called like mindful meditation or like something like that but like it is like it goes off every day at like a different time and it like show it like breathes in and breathes out and it's like think of a time when you felt the most love from your loved ones and stuff like that i'm sure it's good for you i probably i would i would recommend it but i don't know enough about it interesting i'm not sure i need it yet yet yet i'm sure i'll need it eventually if anyone needs it it's you why me mr mr things are going too well the world's about to come crashing down tomorrow.
44:00That's not exactly... Yes. Do you meditate? I don't currently, but I have gone through like patches where I would try to be consistent with it. Because it's nice when you like do it a couple of times, you're like, okay, like I'm now I'm looking forward to that. And then I don't know, I just kind of fell off. I do want to go to one of those things and not because I think it's going to work for me, but just because I want to see what it is. We're like, I think they're called sound baths or something like that, where they take a bowl and hit it with a metal thing and then just wave it in front of you or something like that.
44:34The last time I got a massage, where was I? I got a massage, oh, when I was in Portugal. And that was part of the massage. It was like a sound bath thing. Yo, sound bath? Gets you? It's kind of fire. Really? It just feels like the vibrations are doing something, dude. Like, it's like, oh, I can't even do a vibration sound. But you know what I'm saying? Like, you know the sound when it hits like a, yeah, like that. And it's like, ooh. Like, it feels good around my head. Maybe. We're all vibrating on frequencies. Yeah. We are. I recently had someone tell me that, like, there's, like, a frequency to standing next to a beehive that makes it healing or something like that.
45:14I don't know if I'm fully there. Technically, you could create a weapon that is the opposite of our frequencies, and it could just, like, tear your atoms apart. Poof. What is technically, and what is anything you said? Like, we're all vibrating at a frequency, so there's opposites of that. So if you can, like, match the frequency and just, like, disrupt it. Oh, it's like when you can, the frequency to, like, shatter glass. Yes, exactly. Like, they can just find the frequency to pop a human. Yes. I guess. You could, technically. It's called a.50 cal rifle. That'll do it as well. Yeah, that will definitely explode.
45:47That will do it as well. I don't know. I don't know if I subscribe to the sound healing stuff like that. I definitely believe in. And you'll know if I do because I will not shut up about it if I do. I feel like you're not open to those things because it's like a hard thing. It's like a blind faith that you kind of need to be bought in. Absolutely. It's like this logically has to make sense. One. But you don't. Do you believe in like... This is going to sound so stupid, but do you believe in like energy?
46:25Everything's energy. I think in like a... Like electricity is energy. Yes, like I don't think of it in literal terms. I don't think that as a human, like if your life is going well, you give off like a real actual energy that is going to attract or deter or repel, excuse me, like good things happening to you. I actually do believe that. Yeah. Yeah, I do. I do. I just think that like, I think it's a mindset. Like you're more willing to like, if your life is going better, you're more willing to look at things as positively. Like, I don't know if there is like a physical, like tangible, like measurable, like thing.
47:07You know what I mean? I don't know how else to say it. But don't you agree that there are some people that they light up a room almost, you know? And it's not because they're doing a show or doing this, like, this whole thing. It's just there's just something about them. They're very likable. They're very, like, bubbly. Well, that deals with the charisma and, like, who that person is to you. But not always. Like, I could say that about, like, Becca. Like legitimately, like she lights up a room, but it's because of who she is to me, you know? It's two different points. Yeah. Like, I mean, you're in love with your wife.
47:45That I feel like is a different feeling than what I'm describing. I'm describing like just a person, like not a random person, but like if we were all at Ann's house or something and there was a person who feels like, oh, this person is sort of like brought a different energy to this room now. And it feels like different. And it's infected everybody. But I feel like you get that by how that person acts. So it's not like it's it's like it's not a metaphorical or like a quiet energy that this person. It's like how they're conducting themselves and like how loud they are, how playful they are. But if my if my actions are having a real effect on your mood, is that not a form of like energy?
48:28Because I'm not like. No, because I have something to point to to say, like, that's a measurable thing. It's what this person has done or is saying or has done or is doing that, like, makes me feel uncomfortable. It's not like if we sat in a room together and neither of us talked, I'd be like, there's something in the air. That's just me. And it's the same with, like, crystals. But what about good vibes? What's that? Vibes. They're just like, it's vibes. But vibes is just like, again, that's like a personality thing. Like you could tell by like how like chill someone is and like what they're like, how they're actually acting.
49:02And maybe I'm maybe I'm just being a big grump. So do you think that being happy and being sad, it's not like energy, it's just physical? Like I'm like I'm acting happy, so I'm happy. I think that you're like how you choose to carry yourself, depending on your mood, is is giving off a non measurable. like it's not like someone could say like the the electrons are more stiff in the air or something like that like well i don't even know if i'm if that's what i'm trying to say i just think that it's more than just like my action like if someone here's the thing two people could do something the same thing but if someone has a different type of like vibe to it it feels different yeah And that's what they're doing, though.
49:51It's their approach to it. It's how they're conducting themselves. Like, those are actions. Is that not, like, energy? I guess I don't think of it that way, but I'm sure someone else would call it that. It's just not how I approach it or think of it. But, like, let me ask you this, and I don't want to offend anyone, but, like, if I were to put a rock down in front of you and just be like, this gives off a very specific energy. Right. Do you subscribe to that? or do you think because there are people that are that are firm belief of like a crystal if i'm wearing a crystal yeah yeah yeah um i i don't know enough i think that i have heard of people talking about crystals before and some of that seems a little out there for me but i'm open to the idea that like i mean i 100 believe in like if you're standing barefoot on the earth that that is doing something.
50:47Of course. Like, I believe that. That I believe. But I don't think that's... So a rock is, like, part of the earth. But I think... Yeah, but, like... So it makes sense? I guess I think of it in terms of, like, if I'm sitting in a room and someone puts, you know, amethyst next to me and it's like, this is giving off the energy of, like, passion and love... Or whatever it may be. I don't think... I think it's just a rock. I don't think it's like that. But you know how, like, lead can block a Wi-Fi signal? kind of like it can't pass through yeah but that's a that's a physical measurable thing i understand but like can't other things possibly be blocked or opened up too but lead is not giving off something that is an energy it is preventing because of how to my understanding and i'm not a scientist actually i am closest to a scientist right it's it's it's physical properties are preventing something so so what if the the crystals physical properties is just more conducive to certain like and i get i guess that's possible but like how do physical properties give off confidence i'd see that that i that i think is just like but i think it's more nuanced than like well i'm not confident i'm not more confident i'm holding the rock and yeah maybe i'm maybe i'm you know simplifying it to a disrespectful point no i think that it's uh and i don't i don't say again i don't i don't know enough but i i don't imagine that it's like i will get results if i wear this i don't think it's about that i think it's more about like to put it in video game terms like mana do you know and like you uh you you put like you're holding a shield so it's going to give you like plus three defense it's not like a changing of the whatever it's like it's it's uh you know slightly more helpful and on vibrations and whatever yeah i would say like 0.001 if you were to say like if you go into these mines in you know tahiti or somewhere and they're like natural quartz or whatever around you i could see that in there being physically like measurable because like there is there is a physical like like literal energy and electricity in the earth that is going through those things but if you were to get it from a gift shop on the corner of fucking you know like j street in downtown and say like that's doing the same thing i would just be like that come on that's fine just for you saying that it does feel like you're like right there like you can make the jump though if you if you're believing in the cave around all these crystals is like conducting energy at you you could get there think about heat he is i mean but that's what i'm saying like that's that's where i could see like if someone were to be like let me show you how this is like an actual measurable thing i would just be like cool and i'm also not one of those people it's just like you're crazy if you believe in that stuff if you do awesome i just for me don't see, I would need to see like a study or something to be like, yeah, it is, it is a real thing.
53:43Not like, you know, just like a little, it's a little woo woo for me. I think that's the best way to put it. I got a question for you after we get to these last ads. Okay. I love how we started about like pre-workouts called like, you know, gorilla death. And now we're talking energy from crystals. Yeah. Uh, well, listen, we also have ZocDoc here. But, yeah, I've used it many times. It's lovely. And lastly here, we have Cachava. Okay, Cachava. This has been, you know, in my apartment for years now, and I'm super hyped that they're a sponsor because we get these for free now. But Kachaba, it's great. It's all the nutrition your body craves in one delicious, simple shake. And nostalgia has a flavor. Okay. And cinnamon French toast. If anyone knows anything about me, it's that this right here is going to be on my tombstone.
55:52This is my number one flavor of things. So the fact that they made this, it's like they're listening to me, my energy, and they know this is made for me. I will tell you transparently, anytime cachava comes in here, we fight over the flavors because of how good they are. And the minute that we saw this flavor, we each have been like, who's taking it? It's unbelievable. This is made with real cinnamon bark, okay? So there is everything you need in here with nutrients to support your energy, metabolism, cognition, digestion, strength, and immunity. this is what you need ladies and gentlemen there's other flavors as well this is their new one i haven't even tried it yet because i'm but i'm right after this i am gonna let it rip so hard and it it looks and smells delicious um but you can get yourself some go to cachava.com use that code basement for 15 off of your order cinnamon french toast are you kidding me okay cachava.com spelled k-a-c-h-a-v-a dot com slash basement get that 50 off 15 off your first order enjoy that folks gotta make a cup of that so here's my question for you um what happened to my laptop i saw that i wasn't gonna stop you um how do you feel about uh any of the like astrology i am not bought in no i'm not i'm sorry like I just like I can't I just I struggle so I'll throw you a bone here this the the part of it where it's like you're a very creative person or stuff like that I'm not necessarily asking about that I'm asking do you think it's possible that there is some sort of connection to stars or the time you were born or any of those sort of things I I I don't I guess I am more inclined to say no because I feel like there's more reasons that that doesn't make sense to me than there is that it would make sense.
57:50Why doesn't it? I don't know. I guess I really am just not – I'm not bought in, so I'm not one of those people that's just going to be like, oh, check out such a Leo. You know what I mean? Like one of those people. And like it almost feels like it sometimes takes responsibility away from people like if they're acting like a character, to put it mildly, where they'll just be like, well, they can't help themselves. It's an Aquarius. Or they're just not a good person. You know what I mean? I don't know if I am really in a position where I see that stuff and I've seen enough evidence to be like, yeah.
58:30Do you know about the life number thing? I've tried to look into that, and I think it's way more interesting. It is pretty interesting. Can you look it up and we can get Franks and see if it's – And just again – Because I did mine, and it's extremely accurate. And again, like, it is not, we did a, we did an episode years ago on astrology. I am not like poo-pooing the people that do believe this. That is cool. That is your thing. I just don't know if I can subscribe to it. It's something like this, right? Yeah. The life path number. But usually I have to, I'm probably, I think my sister-in-law said something about this to me and she like told me my, I don't remember what it is.
59:06Yeah. I honestly like, I don't know, but. Because for every three things that don't make sense, one makes sense. And people are just like, huh, okay. That's spot on. Let's put in Frank's birthday. So put July. July 30th, 1992. Okay. July 30th. That's 2026, sister. 1992. Doesn't it depress you that now? Yeah, we're scrolling, baby. You got to scroll. And I'm like, bro. This is a lot of years. Okay. Was it Thursday? That's kind of wicked. Isn't it? Oh, no. Why would that be Thor's day? No, because I thought, wait, never mind. Okay, you're four, the builder. You are practical, disciplined, and hardworking.
59:54You build lasting foundations through dedication. Let's go down. See, like, that is so, like, hold on. There's more, there's more. But, like, before you go down, like, that's so, like, it's so, like, vague enough that, like, it can work for anyone. uh okay it's the most important plan b is a backup birth control option that's there for you when things don't go according to plan it specifically works after unprotected sex and before pregnancy occurs by temporarily delaying ovulation plan b is available nationwide at all major retailers and through delivery apps like doordash no id prescription or age requirement it's the number one OBGYN recommended brand of emergency contraception and it won't impact your future fertility that's freedom to be use us directed number in numerology are you bought in um where we got how to calculate your life path number all right this one it's a don't worry about it's a free one okay so it's not going to give like a lot of they make you pay for them I'm practical.
1:00:57Do mine. Do mine. Like, okay. February 25th, 1992. It was a Tuesday. Being born on a Tuesday. It's the most boring day of the week. I just want to say that. It's the day that I started posting on YouTube as well. You're also my boss. I am a three, the communicator. I'm creative, expressive, and socially gifted. Self-expression through art, writing, and speaking is your calling. I mean, self-expression through either art, writing, or speaking. The three forms of expression. You know what I mean? Well, yeah. Like, that's what I'm saying. Like, it's like you're either really good at writing or speaking or thinking.
1:01:32And it's like, yes, you know. This is you? The Seeker, your analytical, yeah, spiritual. And introspective, truth and wisdom drive your journey. Brother, I've seen you like. Say what's up. Say what's up. Talk shit. If this actually said it was like you're analytical, spiritual, and you love Jameson. Yeah. Say what's up. The Seeker, seven life path. I don't, I see like, that's what I'm saying. Like, and I'm sure people are immediately going to jump at this and be like, You're being pretty practical right now. Yeah. Pretty logical. See, that's what I mean where it's just like, this doesn't sound like I need to be logical and practical.
1:02:09And it's like, oh, you're like, I wouldn't describe myself. That's kind of like what conspiracy theorists do where they'll, they'll be like, it's a conspiracy and they'll be like, yeah, I don't, I don't know. It doesn't line up. They'll be like, that's what they want you to think. Like the lack of an answer is enough of an answer. I don't think so. I don't know what this is, but I... Oh my God, dude. Our comments are going to be loaded with people. Like, please let me read you. I would love for them to like in-depth more into the number charts. Would you be interested if we did like a tarot card reading?
1:02:41Or you're like, no, that would scare you? No, not really. Really? I'm one of those people that like, I don't believe, but I also, I believe enough to not fuck with it. Because like, I'll get like the one where it's like, you're going to die today. You know what I mean? Oh my God, you got the black death. Yeah. But like there's also like with tarot cards to my understanding and I don't want to like upset any like Tarot card readers that are watching this Like it's not only about the cards you get, but it's the placement It's the yeah, the like the the way it comes out if it's left or right or up or down or I think They're all kind of connected and you know, I don't know man Again, that's one of those things that like I don't know if I'm bought in but I'm also Bought in just the small amount to not even fuck with it.
1:03:21It's a lot of fun like a Ouija board You've done tarot cards? Yeah, a bunch of times. It's a lot of fun. I've had them read once. One time it wasn't fun. I don't remember what any of it said. There was one, like, she was flipping them, and she was like, this last card is very important. I was like, what does that mean? Yeah, like, I just, I don't know. Like, again, I don't, like, I'm really trying to specify that I'm not trying to be disrespectful, because I don't want anyone to put, like, a hex on me or something. But, like, I just, I can't. I am not in touch with any spirituality. Yeah. To like.
1:03:55Are you open? By, I guess. It doesn't sound like you are. No, I am. I'm saying like, I'm not like one of those people that's just like, that's all stupid. That's ridiculous. I'm not going to, if you believe it, you're an idiot. I'm just like, not for me. You're not that. I am definitely not that. You're not not. I am not. You just shitted on all that. I didn't shit on it. I just said, I don't know. You said, I don't want to offend people, but like, yeah, you see, this could be anything. But like, that is just pointing out, like, if something is general, like, so general, like, that's my issue with it, is not that I think that if you subscribe to it, you're an idiot.
1:04:30It's just like... Well, it's for everyone in the world, Frank. It can't be specific to Frank Alvarez. I mean, but I know that they also get down to like, where we, when you were born, where you were born, what was the rising moon, the setting Venus, where is Mercury in retrograde? retrograde like it gets so specific that it is almost basically down to the minute that you as an individual were born i believe in a number thing way more um than a star than a star thing because like math and science like if we lost every book we've ever had what we'll have a math textbook again eventually like like all the formulas and calculations are in the universe they just exist they just have to be found but the problem with this is like with the calendar we made the calendar.
1:05:16Right. That's the only thing about me. But that was such an awesome thing to hear on this show of all shows. All the formulas in the world exist. We just have to find them. What the fuck am I going to say after that? It's true, honestly. Like, if all the books we've ever made were burnt, a math textbook will come again. Same exact way. But what is it? Why are you saying that? Because it's just the fact that... It's just math and science is just... It is what it is. It's just here. It's just about how you get to the answer. Math. Yes. Like gravity will always be 9. Careful, because there are people that don't agree with that.
1:05:51But like Newton's law will always be that, because that's just the calculation. It's what weight does in the world. Got it, got it, got it. I see what you're saying. Correct. Honestly, and I know you might fucking punch my ass for this one, but that's why I loved mathematics so much. Because it is what it is. Full name, whoa. You can't like... First and last. Yeah, I'm giving the government a lot. I love mathematics. Like, mathematics, there is, it is what it is. There is nothing you could do. Like, it's just, like, it's completely, and, like, sometimes it could be two things, but it is just those two things.
1:06:25Or, like, sometimes it could be, like, pie, where it's, like, it's everything but nothing. It really makes sense why you would like math. I was recruited to be a... Logical. Logical and practical. It is what it is. Oh, that's what we're doing? There's an answer. That's what we're doing here? There's nothing for me to blindly believe in. I need an answer right now. I mean, but there's also people that are born at the same time as me that don't feel that. And like are fours that are just not like that. I just. Yeah, maybe not at all. Like, I mean, I don't really know. I'm not really versed, well versed in any of it.
1:06:55But I imagine there are some people that are like, this really does speak to me. No, I know. And that's if that's for them. Cool. Fine. It's just not for me. Let's get a tarot card reader in here. All you, brother. Oh, you can do it. It's fine. What are you afraid of? What are you going to say? I just don't know. Like they scare me a little bit. But that requires belief. A little bit. That's why I said I have the smallest amount of belief to not fuck with it. Like a Ouija board. Well, that sounds like more than belief. Yeah. No. It's just like I'm not playing with it. I've seen enough horror movies for like the guy that's just like, this is all garbage.
1:07:28And then they get mauled by ghosts.
1:07:35But you don't think that's going to happen. I don't. It's also not going to happen. That's not what it is. I'm just not. I am, like I said, enough. There is the smallest amount of belief that is enough for me to not fuck with it. It doesn't curse you. You never know. If anything, it'll tell you you have a curse, which is helpful. Right. And then what? You got a curse. Now what do I do? Being aware is good. Yeah. Oh, I'm aware of a curse? Yeah. That's almost worse. I mean, if you're cursed. Like this guy. That's the shittiest curse ever. Yeah. They did a bad job. Honestly, I'd be like, curse me more.
1:08:17Oh, yeah, because your life is so hard. I'm not the one saying it. Yeah, that's right.
1:08:24I'll do one. Yeah, I mean. You'll do it. Do it for Joe's show. You can do it for that. We don't need to put it on here. It's so funny that you're afraid of it. I'm not afraid. I just don't. You're afraid. I just don't want to fuck with it. That's fear. Like, I'm not afraid of sharks. but I also am not going to fuck with it if the opportunity presented itself. You're describing fear. No, it's not. Fear is like, it's like, I'm scared. Consistently like, oh. Avoiding. I'm not avoiding. I'm just not presenting the opportunity to be around it. Fear is almost like you won't go too far in the ocean because you don't want to see anything.
1:08:59I went into the ocean. Too far, I said. He went up to his knee. I went far enough. He snorkeled and screamed. I breathed like a bastard. Let me tell you. I breathe like a bastard. All right. Well, I'll get the tarot card reader in here. We'll just get someone up here. You want to know if they'll just pop up? That would be worse, dude. I would just sit here and just be like, yo, I'm not contributing. That would be the worst episode of our show. You're just not going to contribute? Well, you don't have to do anything. If you got a tarot card reader in here to do your cards in front of me, fine. But I'm not.
1:09:34I'll be like, yo, respectfully, keep me out of it.
1:09:40This is so funny. Why? It is. Because that's like, I mean, the equivalent is like if you got a cockroach and threw it on me. And over here, you're like, don't read my tarot cards to me. I feel like it'd be an invasion of privacy. Like, it'd be like, don't tell me my tarot cards, dude. Don't look at my cards. It sounds like you believe pretty heavily, right? Again, I believe to the point. Like, if I hear it going on, I'm just like, that's nonsense. But I believe enough that I'm not going to invite the opportunity into my life. It's not fair you have every opinion. You're afraid to learn. Yes. you got me that sounds like a real number four that sounds like a real thing for a therapist honestly oh no I mean it's not that deep it's not about it being deep oh I need to this is the part of the episode on the monthly basis where you tell me I need therapy yep not only that but now I'm going to do something that is probably very ill advised and surprise you with the oh yeah I thought someone was walking out right now I was going to be like.
1:10:38And here she is, Madam Zeroni. I'm terrified at that one day. You're just going to like spring something upon me during an episode or some shit like that. No. It's like here, you hate snakes? Well, bring in the cobra. No, dude. I don't like snakes. I mean, I'm okay with snakes, but I wouldn't want a cobra here. I'm telling you right now, open that door. I'm bringing in centipedes for you. I'm okay with centipedes. Just not all over me. I'm bringing in I'll lock you in a pod and I'll fucking dump a centipedes on you dump a centipedes um okay so no tarot cards I'm not going to force it upon you um is there anything else spiritual that I could force upon you though yeah I don't like how you're doing this dude which part the shoving your spirituality in me yeah yeah I don't know it's ill-advised It's not nice.
1:11:29I'm asking if I can. I don't want it. It's not nice. It's not cool. Yeah, I'm not doing anything, dude. Relax. There's no one here. There's two kids I went to Catholic school is trying to turn me. Turn you into what? A spiritual guy. I'm not trying to make you a spiritual guy. Are you in? You want someone to come in here and read your cards? I think it would be fun. It is fun. I don't know. I don't think it's going to go the way you think. You think that they're going to be like, this is, like, it's not Harry Potter. I will be very aware of every, like, like, iTwitch they have, and, like, every, like, oh, they're not going to be, like, you know, in the Harry Potter, I just watched it the other day, but when she, like, they have, like, coffee cups, and she's like, oh, yeah, she's like, you've got the Black Death, or whatever the fuck she says.
1:12:08Yeah, no. It's not going to be like that. You could see, like, it's, like, in a cup of tea, you could see, like, some, like, evil shit. They're going to flip it over and be like, oh, it's a thousand swords, like. Yeah, and I'd be like, what the fuck is that? Yeah, I mean, I don't know. Because it sounds cool. I'd love a thousand swords. I do remember when I got my tarot cards read there was one that flipped over and i'm like that's sick and she's like uh and i was like oh okay well like they all look like like they're like an old school style where like they look like the arch the artistry behind it is cool yeah but then you like it's like oh that's the maiden and it's like what the fuck does that mean yeah it's not good yeah yeah i love how they're like so random it's like oh this is the eight-headed woman and the wolf i'm like how could that who's even thinking of this yeah i don't know man i don't oh my god you got the church and the albino i'm like what is that what is that how could that mean anything i can't believe it it's the maiden in the pumpkin patch you know shit like that it's the princess and the scotch tape i'm like all right no way the children amongst the school bus like huh this was made in the 1600s.
1:13:16They didn't have school buses. Yeah. Or like, I think also some are so boring, it's like, oh, the lily pad. I'm like, alright, I suck. What are the... Now, yeah, you're gonna look up... Is there only like a certain... 78 cards, brother? Oh, okay. They look, again, they're beautiful. And there's suits and everything. There's like cups, pints, swords, not cups. Oh, yeah. Cups, coins, swords. Look up what's the best tarot card to get. Like, what is the coolest one? Best? I'm sure there's gonna be no episode i bet this is like how you don't do it uh the sun the 10 of cups i got that one often called the wish card it represents ultimate emotional fulfillment family and domestic oh my god this is what he's gone to therapy for for 15 years give me the 10 of cups therapist i did the 10 i got the 10 of cups when i was in a coffee shop when i first started doing my first podcast.
1:14:14Your first podcast? Yeah, when I did it. Podcast cheating on me, bitch? No. This was before your time. My time has always been. It was before basement. It was BF. Oh, I remember that. I don't know. The hermit meaning? Yeah, some of them are just. Oh. The hanged man. See, that would scare me. Yeah, death waning, and they flip over, and it's fucking Baphomet, and I'm like, well, this sucks. No, no, no, it's a good one. It's a good demon card. Huh? No, because you got it third in the order. It's actually... Yeah, exactly. It came out third upside down, so it's meaning that no one is gonna summon Paimon.
1:14:52Wands, wands. Ah, there's some wands. I don't... I don't know. I think it'd be cool. They're big cards, too. I like that they're big. It's kind of like Magic the Gathering. Those were regular-sized cards. Right. I think I got... I think I got the King of Pentacles. Oh shit, that sounds like... Oh, good name, because I love pens and I love tentacles. So, good combo there. What's a pentacle? I don't know. Hard work, productive, perfectionist. Yeah, right. Hey, I think he works hard. Look at that. That's what you think.
1:15:28This is what... Hard work. The work is drinking Jameson and ginger ale. This is what happens. You know what I think Frankie would get? I'm just going to make one up. Oh, no, no, no. I think Frankie would get the... Just click on a random one. Let Frank pick one. Oh, yeah, Frank, pick one. Oh, this is how tarot cards work, by the way. Really? Is it pretty much? Like, the one that comes out is the one like, oh, this is meant for you. All right, just do one. Well, I'll fuck cups. Just do one. All right, so knowing nothing about it is... Wands? So what are the suits? There's wands, there's swords.
1:15:56Wands, cups, swords, and pentacles. Pentacles? I mean, you like pentacles. I did like the word, but let's go swords. Swords, okay. Let's go... The ace of swords? Eight of swords. Cause I like the number eight. Eight of swords. Eight of swords. Let's figure out this. Oh, this might fucking backfire This is in the spirit of tarot. I believe yeah, I don't want to fuck oh Negative thinking Negative thinking victim and limiting beliefs Frank. Yo, that is insane That is fucking outrageous Why do you mean this is what you've been doing this whole time? I don't think so. I don't think so. Frank negative thinking Wow limiting beliefs I don't think so all right pick another if you're so bought in no you okay yeah I don't I don't know another I feel like it was so that's just it was too I'm surprised you want to pick another one that's crazy uh no now you got me scared you got me freaked out dude that's so uh scroll up scroll up get me away from He's like, give me the ten of cups right now!

I'm just going off the name here, so everyone shut their fucking mouths. What does this say? There's no way it'll be as cool as it is. Ideas, potential, and inspiration. Okay. Now, now who's laughing? I'm not. That's a good page. What is it? So what does it say? Being... Oh, begin a rich... I don't know. Oh, no, never mind. That's just...
